So I've been receiving many comments asking which one is better when using Rice Power No. 11. Today, I'll compare three products: Estée Lauder's Aqua Charge, One by Kose's Serum Veil, and Kose's Repair Concentration. Let's see which one is best by comparing them. First, let me explain what Rice Power Extract No. 11 is. It's actually amazing. It's the world's only ingredient proven to improve the skin's ability to retain moisture. You might think there are other moisturizing ingredients, but that's not quite right. What Rice Power No. 11 does is work at the basal membrane level. New cells are born from the basal membrane and undergo cell turnover, during which ceramides and intercellular lipids are created as cells mature. However, Rice Power No. 11 doesn't just supplement these; instead, it normalizes turnover and enhances your skin's own ability to produce moisture. Estée Lauder discovered that adding Glycyrrhizic Acid increases hyaluronic acid production in addition to ceramides and intercellular lipids. The Aqua Charge line includes toner, essence, and cream, completing a routine without needing additional products. For those wanting shine and moisture, the toner and essence work well. As someone with oily skin, even these two provide good hydration. Those with dry skin can use all three, or just toner and cream in a two-step routine. Aqua Charge is great for those seeking moisture and firmness. One by Kose has long used Rice Power No. 11, and they recently relaunched with Serum Veil Deep Repair in August. This has always focused on ceramides. Since Rice Power No. 11 enhances ceramide production, they added unique ingredients that improve not just quantity but quality.
