Wow, sensei, that was so passionate! I'm exhausted. Wow, I was kind of moved. Really, right, Mori-kun? But as expected, since it's me, I get it — I feel like I didn't get to say enough. Okay, let's organize this first. There might be people who haven't seen it, but today I did something called the "Passionate Class" on Hayashi-sensei's show "Hatsumimigaku" on TBS, teaching delinquent students. No no, they're not delinquent students. What I did today was — a while back I published a book called "Beauty Talk I Want to Tell My Daughter," and a staff member who read it asked me to properly talk to students who have children about their children's health and beauty. I think it'd be best if you watched it, but you know, there's so much beauty talk out there these days. There really are so many. There are YouTubers who explain ingredients, dermatologists, all sorts of people. Right, dermatologists and such. So the kind of skin health and medical stuff appropriate for children is completely different from that. So instead of unnecessary things, I talked about knowing the basics first, and then doing the beauty things that are really necessary. I think it's still available on Tver, and there's also the official YouTube channel for Hatsumimigaku, so please check it out. But yeah, I still feel like I didn't say enough. Did you talk for over an hour? Well, I think the recording was an hour, but unlike YouTube, you keep talking, so an hour really isn't enough. Even though you kept talking the whole time, you really talked a lot. That's right. It flew by. The one thing I made sure to convey properly was that beauty and medicine are different things. I'm not sure if that came across in the recording, but influencers and SNS knowledge — you don't know if it actually suits that particular person. Skin types differ, and often it doesn't match. The person most similar to you is your mother or father — family, right? So if fathers and mothers have solid knowledge and can say "I did skincare this way, so you should probably do it this way too," that would be the best way to teach. What I said, which I always say on this YouTube channel, is that the things you shouldn't do to your skin are friction, dryness, and sun damage. From there the conversation expands — there are people who say "I don't exercise to prevent sagging," "I don't wear sunscreen," "I scrub my face hard but my skin is still beautiful." I'm not denying that such people exist. For example, with studying too — some people have a constitution where they can memorize everything just by looking at it once. Like sensei, right? Well, well, well, well, I recently raised my hand from sheer effort though. There are people like that, but just as there are people who can't memorize unless they write something over and over, skin is the same — some people are resistant to UV rays, some are resistant to friction, some prevent sagging through exercise. It depends on what suits that person, and you can't know if it applies to someone else. That's what beauty is. But medicine, the basics of health, the foundation doesn't change. That's the three things I mentioned earlier. Drying out is generally not good for most people, UV rays cause photoaging for most people, and friction is the same. Because mothers or parents have similar skin types, by talking together — skincare communication — and enjoying skincare together with your parents, I hope that message got across. I wonder if it did. I think it got across, in my opinion. Did your parents ever tell you to do skincare, Bari-kun? Well, I wasn't told directly, but I always watched the lotion my mother used. At one point she was ordering Dr. Ci:Labo... I mean, Domohorn Wrinkle. That's nice. In my case, I grew up watching that. My mother wasn't necessarily that conscious about beauty, but she had really beautiful skin. That got passed down to my older sister. My mother originally had very few spots or wrinkles. That's nice. She properly washed her face, and even back then — which is normal now — she'd quickly do something like a sheet mask for about three minutes. Because I watched my mother do that, I naturally understood that washing your face properly and moisturizing was just normal. Also, since I was born in Okinawa, rather than thinking UV rays equal spots and wrinkles, I had the image that UV was just bad for your skin, so my gym clothes had long sleeves, and when we went to the beach, we didn't go during midday. I see. I go to the beach during the day all the time in summer. No no no no, that's basically a burn for your skin too. Like swimming in a long-sleeved T-shirt. Skincare might seem like something complicated to think about, but once you know the basic principles, it's fine to develop your own original beauty routine from there. The basics might not be interesting or go viral, but they're universal, so I think it'd be good if families could talk about that together. Rather than finding your own "correct" skincare answer through SNS, I think it's best done with the parent who's nearby. That's right, indeed. Also, this time I talked with celebrities, and you know, celebrities really are amazing. What do you mean? Well, of course their talk is amazing too, but celebrities — including comedians — really do have beautiful skin. Everyone's skin has higher potential than an average person's. They fall into the category of people who got beautiful skin as a gift from God. Their skin is more beautiful than the patients I usually see at my clinic. That probability is rare too. Especially the volleyball player Otomo-san, who's now a TV personality — she's been indoors the whole time, so she doesn't get much UV exposure. That's true, that's true. Her skin is incredibly beautiful. So I was surprised, and I thought if I had kids, I'd want them to do an indoor sport. Is that written in the book? On page one? No, it's not written, but yeah, indoor sports maybe. Baseball or soccer club members get constant UV exposure. It's wonderful, it really is, but I'm glad I was in the basketball club. People who didn't wear sunscreen as kids... That's quite a segment. Even without sunscreen, there are people who don't easily get spots or wrinkles, and if those people say "Well, I don't wear it," people might think it's fine not to wear it, so I want everyone to have proper knowledge. Originally, my own potential was really low. I've worked hard to get where I am. Are you okay? Won't you get haters? Are you okay? No no no, everyone should just ask me. If everyone has proper, correct knowledge, they can become like me too. Honestly, having correct knowledge and enjoying the process, and also not chasing an ideal self, is important too. Because models and talents have something like a gift from God, so it's hard to become like that. I think it's better to properly polish what you already have. Alright, that's sensei's passionate class on Hatsumimigaku — if you haven't watched it yet, please do. But I'm grateful — this book was a trigger, and there were staff members who knew about us because they watch YouTube. I'm glad we've been doing YouTube, and I think it's thanks to everyone subscribing to the channel and pressing the like button that this happened. Even though the excitement hasn't faded since it ended, sorry for having you film this. Not at all, thank you. While we were talking, I almost asked why sensei decided to become a dermatologist, but since that would take a while, I thought I'd save it for another time. What, you're leaving already? I still have more to say. I'll put the details in the video description, so if you missed it, please check it out. Well, thanks Nobuli-kun for today. Thank you very much. I'm seriously exhausted. I've been talking the whole day. Talking non-stop. But it's still not enough, right? No, it's really not enough.
