Dr. Yasukawa is a practicing internist in Washington D.C., the capital of the United States—home to the White House, which has been in the news due to the presidential election. While COVID-19 treatment protocols vary by state across the U.S., Washington D.C. is the place to look for nationwide policy and guidelines. In his recent videos, Dr. Yasukawa has mentioned that he is seeing COVID-19 patients every day as case numbers rise. Living in the U.S., he has access to the latest information firsthand, and he explains topics such as the Pfizer-BioNTech messenger RNA vaccine with clear diagrams and easy-to-understand language, often with a touch of humor. This channel is highly educational for both medical professionals and general viewers alike. The second is the 'Palliative Care Channel' by 'Kanwa Iinchō' (the Palliative Care Chief). This Japanese physician specializes in palliative care. Since the spread of COVID-19, he has been consistently sharing objective, evidence-based information grounded in the latest medical literature, presenting data clearly and fairly.
