秋冬に発売されたプチプラクレンジングについて詳しく解説します！

First, do you know which brands dominate the Japanese cleansing and face wash market? The top two are consistently Shiseido's "Senka" line and Kao's "Bioré." Both brands offer a wide range of cleansing and face wash products packed with advanced technology at affordable prices. This autumn, both brands released remarkable new cleansers, and I'm excited to walk you through them. ■ Product 1: Shiseido Senka Perfect Clear Cleanse At first glance, this looks like an ordinary liquid, but when you shake it, you can see bubbles forming inside — and that's exactly what makes it special. In a previous video about proper cleansing techniques, I explained that oil cleansers are not harmful to the skin. They work by using oil to dissolve makeup (which is also oil-based), and then emulsifying it with a surfactant to rinse it away. Because the oil adheres to the skin instantly, you don't need to scrub — minimizing friction and skin damage. However, many people find oil cleansers leave a greasy residue, prompting some brands to recommend double cleansing. But washing too much can compromise the skin barrier, and it's simply inconvenient. For those who want the gentle, friction-free power of an oil cleanser with the fresh finish of a gel wash, the Perfect Clear Cleanse was developed. This product combines oil and gel in one formula. Since gel contains a lot of water, it normally doesn't mix with oil — just like a salad dressing. Shaking the bottle brings the two layers together. As I mentioned, surfactant-based cleansers (as opposed to oil cleansers) require some friction to work properly. Foam cleansers were introduced as a solution, but standard foams tend to drip off the face quickly, making truly friction-free cleansing difficult. The Bioré Foam Cream Makeup Remover solves this problem: the more you press the pump, the more the foam transforms into a cream. Instead of dripping away, it clings to the skin like a cream, adhering to makeup and impurities without any rubbing. In terms of ingredients, the formula is built around moisturizing agents (water, glycerin, PEG-150), combined with lauryl hydroxysultaine — an amphoteric surfactant gentle enough for baby shampoos — decyl glucoside, a non-ionic surfactant effective at removing sebum and makeup, and soap-based fatty acids (lauric acid, myristic acid, palmitic acid) for a clean, refreshing finish. What truly sets this product apart, however, is the pump. Kao has a dedicated Container Research Lab focused solely on packaging innovation. For this product, they engineered a specialized pump with ultra-fine mesh that converts their high-viscosity cream formula into fine, dense foam. This is why Kao advises against refilling the container with any other product — the pump itself is a critical part of the technology. ■ Summary Both products represent the pinnacle of affordable skincare innovation. - Prefer oil cleansers? → Senka Perfect Clear Cleanse - Prefer foam or want a new experience? → Bioré Foam Cream Makeup Remover Note: Bioré contains ethanol, so those sensitive to alcohol should be aware. That said, the surfactants used are extremely gentle, and both products are suitable for most skin types, including for removing waterproof mascara without causing friction or irritation.
