【クレンジング】技術がすごい！驚きのクレンジングを２つ紹介します

皆さんこんにちは、通りすがりの美容マニアです。今日はサムネイルにも書きましたが、すごく良いクレンジングがカネボウとキュレルから出たので、深掘りしていきたいと思います。 私はよく言っていますが、脂性肌なのでクレンジングはオイルやバームが好きです。オイルはクルクルしなくてもしっかり落ちますし、皮脂が多いとさっぱり洗い上がりたいんですよね。なのでクリームや拭き取りタイプは、摩擦の観点や洗い上がりのテクスチャーから正直敬遠していました。 でも最近はどんどん進化していて、すごく良い製品が出てきていると思っていた中、今シーズンはカネボウとキュレルがすごいクレンジングを出してきました。「クレンジングといえばオイル」というイメージが本当にどんどん変わってきたなと思います。では早速紹介していきます。 【カネボウ メロウブヴェール】 中身を開けるとこんな感じで、クレンジングクリームになっています。クレンジングクリームは、冒頭お話しした通り、洗い上がりに油膜が張るような、良い意味でしっとりしているものが多いんです。これはクレンジングクリームを作る時、油がメインで入っているので、流した後にすすぎに時間がかかるのと、それでも流した後に良い意味で油分が残るからなんですね。乾燥肌の方にはクレンジングクリームは洗い上がりがしっとりしてすごく良いと思うのですが、私自身は脂性肌なので少し苦手な部分がありました。あとはクルクルしないとメイクとクレンジングがなじまないところや、お水で流す時に時間がかかるのも難点でした。 今回のカネボウさんは、それをまるっと解決してくれた驚きのクレンジングクリームです。 どういう技術かというと、クレンジングクリームは油と界面活性剤で作られますが、このメロウブヴェールは成分表を見ると上位にグリセリンという保湿成分が来ていて、その次にお水が来ているんです。「本当にクリームなのかな」と思って調べてみたら、すごく面白い処方になっていました。 グリセリンやポリクオタニウム-51、ポリクオタニウム-7といった美容成分とオイル、そして界面活性剤を、油性の高分子ジェル（いわゆるポリマーのようなもの）でゆるく固めている状態なんです。そのジェル自体は水溶性の美容成分も油も入れることができて、そこに界面活性剤を入れることで一つのものにしているんですね。 メイクを馴染ませる時に肌を押しますよね。押すことでジェルの中に入っていた油がメイクになじむ仕組みになっています。逆に押さなければメイクにはなじみません。このベールは厚みがあるので、フッと押すとそこにオイルがギュッと集まってメイクが浮き、押すのをやめるとメイクを絡めとったオイルがジェルの中に戻っていきます。そして戻ると、表面には水溶性の美容成分が残るという形になるんです。 さらに面白いことに、この高分子ジェルは水に流れやすい性質を持っているので、びっくりするくらいサッと流れていきます。メイクを馴染ませる時は厚みのあるクリームですが、このクレンジングのすごさがわかるのは洗い流す時だと思います。洗い流すと「あれ、クレンジングクリームだったよな」と思うくらい、シャワーでサーッとするとスルッとメイクが流れていくんです。これにはちょっとびっくりします。 そして2回目にびっくりするのは洗い上がりです。クリームは少しベトつくことが多いですが、これは油膜でしっとりというより、「美容液を塗った？」みたいなしっとり感が残るんです。実際にやってみるとわかります。クレンジングをクルクルしている時は「いつも通りかな」という感じなのですが、洗って水を流した瞬間と洗い上がりで、本当に虜になります。クレンジングクリームが苦手だった人にもきっと驚きがあると思います。私も長年苦手だったのですが、虜になりました。 独自の成分を使っているわけではなく、高分子ジェル自体もどこのメーカーでも使えるポリマーだと思うのですが、保湿成分、ポリマー、油分、界面活性剤のバランスが絶妙でないと、このクレンジングは作れなかったと思います。界面活性剤が少し多いと押した時に油が出てこなかったり、バランスが崩れるとお水でサッと流れなかったりします。この処方バランスを何度も試作して組み上げるのは、大手さんじゃないとなかなかできないと思うので、本当にびっくりしたクレンジングです。 あと痒いところに手が届くなと思ったのが、付属のスパチュラです。こういうスパチュラってなくなりがちじゃないですか。でもここに穴が開いていて、バスルームのS字フックにかけられるようになっているので、なくならないんです。そういう配慮もちょっと嬉しいなと思いました。 クレンジングクリームが苦手な人、さっぱりだけど後肌はしっとり仕上げたい方には本当におすすめですし、摩擦が気になる人にも良いと思います。高分子ジェルに厚みがあるのであまり摩擦にならず、肌に乗せて押すことで油分が集まる仕組みなので、油分もそこまで多くなく、界面活性剤の量も通常のクレンジングクリームより少ないんじゃないかなと思います。 クレンジング力も遜色ないです。私はクリームファンデーションかリキッドファンデーションを使っていて、アイメイクもガッツリではなく通常のメイクにマスカラは控えめという感じですが、それだとサッと落ちました。ガッツリアイメイクをする方はリムーバーを併用したほうが良いかもしれませんが、通常のメイクならスッと落ちて気持ち良かったです。 【キュレル 乳液ケアメイク落とし】 続いてはキュレルの乳液ケアメイク落としです。実はキュレルなのに拭き取りタイプのクレンジングなんです。キュレルはもともと敏感肌の人向けのブランドで、敏感肌の方は摩擦を気にする方が多いと思うので、拭き取りタイプが出るとは全然思っていませんでした。「キュレルさん大丈夫ですか」と正直思いました。でも調べてみると、面白いデータをもとに作られたクレンジングでした。 どんなデータかというと、クレンジングは油と界面活性剤でできていて、油が多いとクレンジング力が高そうに思いますよね。でもカオさんが調べたところ、油分の量とメイク落ちはそれほど変わらなかったそうです。乳液や美容液、クリームも量の差はあれど、油分と界面活性剤で作られている点は同じです。油分の量はクリームの方が圧倒的に多いのですが、実はメイクの落ち方にはあまり関係がなかったそうです。 でも実際に使ってみると、クリームや美容液よりも乳液の方がメイクが馴染みやすいという経験、ありませんか？ それは実は油の多さではなく、粘度の低さが関係しているそうです。同じように油分と界面活性剤が入っていても、粘度が低くサラサラなテクスチャーの方がメイクを落とすということを実験で見つけたそうです。面白いですよね。 キュレルさんの乳液はセラミドがたっぷり入ったしっとりタイプなので、この乳液の量を変えずに粘度を下げれば、いつもの乳液でメイクが落ちるんじゃないかという仮説を立てて、粘度を下げていったそうです。でもセラミドは油に溶けるとテクスチャーが固くなってしまいます。そこでカオさんは、セラミドを溶かす油をより小さくすることにしました。分子量が大きいと粘度が高くなるので、小さくすることで粘度が緩くなり、拭き取ってもしっかりメイクが浮き上がるようになりました。油を小さくすると表面積が大きくなるので、量は変わらなくてもメイクが浮きやすくなり、さらに粘度が下がってサラサラになることでメイク落ちも良くなったということなんです。すごいですよね。 界面活性剤の量も乳液と同じように作られているので少なく、セラミドはたっぷり入っているのでしっかり肌に残り、拭き取った後もダブル洗顔が不要です。 敏感肌の方って、帰ってきて顔にいろんなものが付着している感じがして、パッと顔を洗いたいけれど、洗った後は全部スキンケアをしなければいけないので面倒に感じることもありますよね。お風呂にすぐ入るなら良いですが、帰ってきてパパッと顔を拭いて、お風呂に入るまでの数時間放っておいても、肌がしっとりするんです。その後お風呂で顔を洗ってもらっても全然大丈夫だと思います。例えば飛行機に乗る時など洗顔できない時にも使えて、保湿効果もあるので次のスキンケアの邪魔にもならない。キュレルからこんな製品が出るとは、すごく面白いなと思いました。 メイク落ちに関しては、さすがにがっつりメイクは落ちにくいと思いますが、敏感肌の方はそこまでがっつりメイクをする感じではないと思うので、軽めのメイクであればサッと落ちます。コットンに出すと結構緩い、本当に乳液という感じです。コットンに湿らせてリップの上に置いて、1回でこんな感じに落ちます。何回か拭き取ると、スッと落ちていきます。拭き取りクレンジングにありがちなネトッとした感じは全然なくて、本当に乳液で落とした感じがします。 敏感肌で何か付着していると痒くなってしまうという方も、安心して拭き取ることができますし、職場に置いておいてメイク直しの時に使うのもありだと思います。1個あればいろんな用途で使えるクレンジングだなと思いました。 ということで今日は、驚きのクレンジション、カネボウとキュレルをご紹介しました。どちらも技術がすごく高くて、成分というよりは処方の妙を追求して、使う方のことを考えて作られています。カネボウはクリームのとろける感じと後肌のしっとり感は残したいけれど、ベトつきは嫌でサッと洗い流したいという方に、キュレルは敏感肌の方で帰ってきてすぐ顔を洗いたいけれどスキンケアが大変という方のために、スキンケアなしでもうるおいが持続できるよう処方を研究して作られた製品です。本当に素晴らしいなと今回も感動しました。 気になる方はぜひチェックしてみてください。今日も最後まで動画を見ていただいてありがとうございました。また次の動画でお会いしましょう。さようなら。

Hello everyone, this is your passerby beauty enthusiast. As I mentioned in the thumbnail, Kanebo and Curél have released some really great cleansers, so today I want to take a deep dive into them. As I often say, I have oily skin, so I prefer oil or balm cleansers. Oil removes makeup thoroughly even without rubbing it in, and since I have a lot of sebum, I like a refreshing finish after cleansing. So I've honestly been avoiding cream or wipe-off type cleansers, both because of concerns about friction and the texture left on the skin afterward. But recently, cleansers have been evolving more and more, and I've been seeing some really great products. This season, Kanebo and Curél have come out with some amazing cleansers. My image of "cleansing = oil" has really been changing. So let's get into it. 【Kanebo Mellow Veil】 When you open it up, it looks like this—it's a cleansing cream. As I mentioned earlier, cleansing creams often leave a nice, moisturizing oil film on the skin after rinsing. This is because cleansing creams are mainly made with oil, so rinsing takes longer, but afterward a pleasant oiliness remains. For people with dry skin, this moisturizing finish is great, but as someone with oily skin, I personally found it a bit hard to like. Also, if you don't massage it in enough, the makeup and cleanser don't blend well, and rinsing with water tends to take time—these were drawbacks for me. Kanebo's new product completely solves these issues—it's a truly surprising cleansing cream. As for the technology behind it: cleansing creams are typically made with oil and surfactants, but when you look at the ingredient list for Mellow Veil, glycerin (a moisturizing ingredient) is listed near the top, followed by water. I wondered, "Is this really a cream?" and when I looked into it, I found a fascinating formulation. Beauty ingredients like glycerin, Polyquaternium-51, and Polyquaternium-7, along with oil, are loosely bound together with surfactant inside an oil-based polymer gel (essentially a type of polymer). This gel itself can hold both water-soluble beauty ingredients and oil, and by incorporating surfactant into it, everything becomes one unified product. When you massage in makeup remover, you press on your skin, right? By pressing, the oil inside the gel blends with the makeup. If you don't press, it won't blend with the makeup at all. This veil has some thickness to it, so when you press gently, the oil concentrates there and the makeup lifts off. When you stop pressing, the oil that captured the makeup returns into the gel, leaving water-soluble beauty ingredients on the surface. What's even more interesting is that this polymer gel has a property that makes it rinse away easily with water, so it washes off surprisingly fast. While it feels like a thick cream when massaging in makeup, I think the real amazement of this cleanser comes when you rinse it off. When you rinse it, you'll think "wait, this was a cleansing cream, right?"—because with just a quick rinse in the shower, the makeup slips right off. That's pretty surprising. The second surprise comes with how your skin feels afterward. Creams often feel a bit sticky, but this doesn't leave an oily film—instead it leaves a moisturized feeling, almost like you applied a serum. You really have to try it to understand. While massaging it in, it feels like any regular cleanser, but the moment you rinse it off and see how your skin feels afterward, you'll be hooked. Even people who don't like cleansing creams will likely be surprised—I was someone who disliked them for a long time, and I've become a fan. It's not that they're using some unique proprietary ingredient—the polymer gel itself is something any manufacturer could use. But I think achieving the perfect balance of moisturizing ingredients, polymer, oil, and surfactant is what made this cleanser possible. If there's too much surfactant, the oil won't come out when you press; if the balance is off, it won't rinse away quickly with water. Formulating and testing this balance repeatedly is something only a major manufacturer could really pull off, so I was truly amazed by this cleanser. One more thoughtful detail is the included spatula. These spatulas tend to get lost, right? But this one has a hole in it so it can be hung on an S-hook in your bathroom, so you won't lose it. I appreciated that kind of consideration. I'd really recommend this to people who dislike cleansing creams, or who want a refreshing cleanse but still want their skin to feel moisturized afterward. It's also good for people concerned about friction—since the polymer gel has some thickness, it doesn't create much friction, and because the oil gathers only when you press on your skin, the oil content isn't too high, and I imagine the surfactant content is lower than typical cleansing creams. Its cleansing power is also excellent. I usually wear cream or liquid foundation, and my eye makeup isn't heavy—just regular makeup with minimal mascara—and it came off easily. If you wear heavy eye makeup, you might want to use a remover as well, but for regular makeup, it came off smoothly and felt great. 【Curél Milk Makeup Remover】 Next is Curél's Milk Makeup Remover. Surprisingly, despite being from Curél, this is a wipe-off type cleanser. Curél is originally a brand for sensitive skin, and people with sensitive skin tend to be concerned about friction, so I honestly never expected a wipe-off cleanser from this brand. My first reaction was, "Curél, are you sure about this?" But when I looked into it, I found it was based on some fascinating data. Here's the data: cleansers are made of oil and surfactant, and you'd think more oil means stronger cleansing power. But according to Kao's research, the amount of oil didn't actually make much difference to how well makeup was removed. Milky lotions, serums, and creams are all made with oil and surfactant, just in different amounts. Creams have far more oil, but it turns out oil content wasn't strongly related to makeup removal. But in practice, have you ever noticed that milky lotion blends with makeup more easily than cream or serum? It turns out this isn't about oil content, but about viscosity. Even with the same amount of oil and surfactant, a lower-viscosity, more fluid texture removes makeup better—this is what they found through experiments. Isn't that interesting? Curél's milky lotion is packed with ceramides and has a moisturizing texture, so they hypothesized that if they lowered the viscosity without changing the amount of lotion, the same milky lotion could remove makeup. So they worked on lowering the viscosity. But here's the catch: ceramide dissolves in oil, which makes the texture firmer. So what did Kao do? They made the oil that dissolves the ceramide into smaller particles. Since larger molecular size increases viscosity, making it smaller loosened the viscosity, allowing makeup to lift off well even with wiping. Making the oil smaller also increases its surface area, so even with the same amount, makeup lifts more easily, and the lower viscosity (more fluid texture) further improves makeup removal. Isn't that amazing? The amount of surfactant is kept low, just like in the regular milky lotion, and since it's packed with ceramide, plenty stays on the skin, meaning you don't need to double-cleanse afterward. For people with sensitive skin, when you come home you might feel like all sorts of things are stuck to your face and want to wash it off right away, but then you'd have to do your entire skincare routine, which can feel like a hassle. If you're about to take a bath right away, that's fine, but if you wipe your face when you get home and then leave it for a few hours before bathing, your skin still stays moisturized. You can wash your face properly in the bath afterward if you like. It's also great for situations like flights, where you can't wash your face—but since it still provides moisture, it won't interfere with your skincare routine afterward. I thought it was fascinating that Curél came out with something like this. As for makeup removal, heavy makeup probably won't come off as easily, but since people with sensitive skin generally don't wear heavy makeup, lighter makeup wipes off nicely. When you pour it onto a cotton pad, it's quite fluid—really just like a milky lotion. If you soak a cotton pad and place it on lipstick, it comes off like this after just one wipe. After a few more wipes, look—it comes right off. There's none of that sticky feeling you sometimes get with wipe-off cleansers; it really feels like you're removing makeup with a milky lotion. Even people with sensitive skin who get itchy if something's left on their face can wipe with confidence. It could also be handy to keep at your workplace for touch-ups. Having just one of these could be useful in so many situations. So today I introduced two amazing cleansers from Kanebo and Curél. Both showcase incredibly advanced technology—it's less about the ingredients themselves and more about the art of formulation, designed with the user in mind. Kanebo's product is for people who want that melting cream texture and moisturized finish, but don't want stickiness and want a quick rinse. Curél's product is for people with sensitive skin who want to wash their face right when they get home but find a full skincare routine a hassle—it was formulated so moisture lasts even without additional skincare.
