【革命アイテム】キュレルが超納得のとんでもない商品出してきた。

皆さんこんにちは、友利新です。だんだん気温が下がって湿度も下がってきましたね。そんな時にお顔以外で気になるのって、やっぱり手とか足の乾燥、特にカサカサした感じが気になってくると思います。 今までは当然、そこにハンドクリームを塗ったり、かかとクリームを塗るということが当たり前だったと思うんですが、実はもうそんな時代じゃなくなってきています。 今回、キュレルから画期的なハンドケア、そしてかかとケアのアイテムが発売になったので、今日はそれを深掘りしていきたいと思います。手のケア、そしてかかとケア、今までいろいろ試したけど結局続かなかったよ、あんまり良くなかったよという方は、ぜひ最後までご覧ください。 では最初に、なんで手やかかとがこんなに乾燥しやすく、一度乾燥するとどんどんループのように悪化していくのかというお話ですが、まず一つは皮脂腺がほとんどないというところです。皮脂腺というのは油を出す腺ですよね。皮脂というとお顔だとテカリの原因みたいな感じで嫌がる方もいらっしゃいますが、その皮脂腺から皮脂が出ることによって角質のバリア機能が強固になるんですよ。皮脂腺がないということはバリア機能が弱い。だからこそ外的刺激が入ってきやすくて、炎症が起こりやすいというところになります。 あともう一つ、角層が厚いんですね。特にかかとなどはずっと体重がかかっているので、角質が厚くなっています。角質が厚いのに皮脂腺が少ないので皮脂が覆っていないじゃないですか。なので、例えば水分が蒸発してしまったらひび割れやすいんですよ。お餅とかも上のコーティングがないとちょっとひび割れるじゃないですか。それと同じように、角層は厚いんだけれども、ちゃんと上に皮脂が乗っていればいいんですが、水分が抜けてしまうと本当にひびがどんどん割れて、そこからまた刺激が入ってくるので炎症が起こって、また水分が抜けてという負のループになりやすいんですよ。 なので、とりあえず皮脂腺がないから、潤いを与えて皮脂膜の代わりにクリームとかオイルとかそういったものを塗るというのが今までの常識だったんですが、手って塗って5分放置してくださいって、5分放置できますか?あとやっぱり塗ったということは、どんなに浸透がいいと思っても多少ベタベタするじゃないですか。そんな時に、じゃあスマホ触りますって言ったら、スマホに指紋がついてベタベタしたり、ぬるっとして落としてしまったりとか。 かかとに至っては、寝る前とかに塗って靴下を履いたとしても、寝ている間に靴下とかかとが擦れるわけですよ。そうしたら、せっかく塗っていたケア剤も取れちゃうんですね。寝ている間じゃなくて昼間とかでも、やっぱり歩いているわけじゃないですか。そうするとやっぱり取れるんですよ。でも手を使わないとか、裸足のまま塗ってそのまま放置するというふうにはできないじゃないですか。 そんな時に、花王さんがあって思ったんだと思うんですよね。花王って実はクイックルワイパーとかおむつとか、繊維も作っているんですよ。その繊維の技術をこれに応用できないかって考えたんですね。結構前にご紹介したファインファイバーっていうの覚えてますかね。お顔にシューッとスプレーして、そこに膜を貼って角層のような疑似膜を使うっていうスキンケアが出ていたと思うんですが、それを手と足に応用できないかというふうに考えたんですよ。 手に塗ってもすぐ取れてしまったら意味がないので、どうしようかって考えた時に、手袋と靴下みたいにすればいいんじゃないっていうのを考えたんですよ。でもそれってめちゃめちゃすごい難しかったらしいんですね。 それがどういうものかというとこれなんですが、かかとケアマスク、ハンドケアマスク、これサイズがSMとMLってあるので2つあるんですけど、同じような感じなんですね。こういう感じで入っていて4枚入っています。だから2回使えるということになるんですけど、こういうものが入ってるんですね。 これをこのままではなくて、こういうハンドクリームを自分の手に塗って、塗った後にこういうふうにしっかりとピタッと、こういうふうなハンドになります。 これだけ見たら、いやいや先生、こんなのを今更キュレルから出しても何か意味あるんですかって思った、そこのあなた、花王さんに謝った方がいい。 これはですね、素晴らしいのはファインファイバーっていうのは1本の細い線で、通常の不織布の30分の1の細さなんですよ。お水があったら毛細管力って言って、お水をギュッと自分のところに引っ張って、その子に閉じ込めておく力が大きいんです。 クリームを私が塗るじゃないですか。キュレルのこのハンドケアをします。そうすると内側にこのケア剤が入っているので、寝ている時だったりとかにこれをつけていたら、手の中に潤いが持続するっていうところなんです。 かかとも同じ原理で靴下タイプになっています。かかとのクリームを塗った後にこれを履いて、そのまま寝てもいいし、その上に靴下を履いて普通に日中過ごすこともできるんですよ。結構これはね、画期的だなと思いました。 ずっとこの中に潤いを閉じ込めた状態でいるので、取ったら本当に手がすべすべになるんですよ。ちょっとしたささくれとかだったら、すぐにもう治っちゃうぐらいになるんですね。 ただ、ファインファイバーってすっごく破れやすかったんですよ。じゃあなんでこういうふうにできたかっていうと、花王さんの今までのおむつだったりとか、あとはクイックルワイパーの技術で、伸びる繊維の上にファインファイバーを吹きかけて、それをしっかりと密着させるっていうのをするのにめちゃくちゃ時間がかかったって言ってました。 これって簡単そうだけどなかなかできなくて、それを1枚の大きなロールにして、それを手形に全部くり抜くらしいんですね。 ゴム手袋でもいいじゃんっていう人もいるんですけど、ゴム手袋って通気性がないんですよ。濡れてしまって痒みが起こっちゃうっていう人もいるんですね。ファインファイバーは通気性もいいんですよ。お水はしっかりと引っ張ってくるんですけど、空気はちゃんと抜けるので、濡れてしまって痒みが起こるっていうこともほぼないです。 あとは面白いのは、普通だったらクリーム塗ったとしてもまばらになるじゃないですか。やっぱりこう触ったりとか歩いたりとかするので。それがファインファイバーだと均一に全部染み込むので、ムラ感もなくなる。手をしっかりと全体的にケアできるっていうところもすごく嬉しいところかなというふうに思います。 あとこの手袋を作るっていうところにもすごくポイントで、この手袋のところ、接着剤とかは一切使ってないんですって。そういう接着剤みたいな余計なもので、手が敏感になっている人が痒くなったりもしないようにっていう、いろんな配慮もされているので、これはもう本当にただの手袋じゃない、ただの靴下じゃないっていう、ちょっと驚きだなというふうに思います。 これは前回行われた日本美容皮膚科学会でもちゃんと発表されていて、基本的に手とか足ってすぐに改善するものじゃないんですよ。でも患者さんの声としても乾燥感がなくなったっていうのもそうですし、私たち医師がちゃんと指針をしても、しっかりと乾燥感がなくなったっていうところもあるので、それが2週間でできたっていうデータだったんですよ。基本こんなに短期間で手だったり足の改善が見られるっていうのはなかなかないんですよね。そういった意味でもかなり画期的ですし、私たちのQOLをかなり上げるアイテムなんじゃないかなというふうに思います。 私がよくパックシートマスクしていると濡れちゃうからダメですよっていうのは、まずファインファイバーっていうものは通気性がいいっていうこと。あとは手っていうのがやっぱり塗るのがお水じゃなくてクリームっていうところがポイントです。クリームだとやっぱり油分をしっかりと入れていくんですね。手だってお水をずっと入れたらふやけるんですが、今回はクリームをしっかり入れて、要は油分をかかとだったりとか手にずっといる。私たちの顔っていうのは皮脂腺から油が出てコーティングされている。それができないから、その皮脂をクリームの代わりに入れて、それでずっとコーティングしてくれてるっていうことになるので、お顔のシートマスクとはちょっと違うんですよね。なのでそこだけ注意をしていただければかなと思います。 もちろん寝てる間につけてもいいですし、日中つけてもいいっていうところがあるんですが、1日つけたものは捨てたほうが衛生的にはいいですし、やっぱりクリームを何回も継ぎ足すと、これ以上浸透しなくもなったりもするので、1日1枚使っていくっていうのがいいのかなというふうに思います。 これ本当に数時間つけただけでも全然手の柔らかさって違ってくるので、今まで本当にいろんなアイテムを試してみたけど、手だったりかかとのカサカサがあんまり良くならないんですっていう人は、かなりちょっと画期的なアイテムなんじゃないかなと思います。 塗るケア剤はクリーム状のものだったらいいし、オイルでもいいのかなと思うんですが、ジェル状だったりとかちょっと水分が多いものっていうよりは、油分が多いものの方が私はいいんじゃないかなと思います。 この冬はハンドケア、そしてかかとケアをしっかりしても、手がカサカサしてるとか足がカサカサしてるっていう人は、もうちょっといらっしゃらなくなるんじゃないかなっていう感じかなと思います。なのでちょっと気になる方は、普通に薬局とかでも売っているので、チェックしてみていただければと思います。 はい、ということでいかがだったでしょうか。やっぱりキュレルさんって乾燥性の敏感肌をしっかりと研究しているだけあって、ちょっと痒いところに手が届くじゃないですけど、今までだったらハンドクリームとかかかとクリーム塗っておけばいいじゃんを塗っててもよくなりづらいし、ベタベタするしQOLが下がるじゃんみたいなところから生まれたっていうのが本当に素晴らしいなというふうに思います。 ということで、今日も最後までご覧いただきありがとうございます。このチャンネルはこのように最新の美容アイテムだったり、美容や健康について発信していますので、よかったらチャンネル登録よろしくお願いします。そして毎週火曜日にメンバー限定のライブも行っておりますので、月額90円にはなりますけれどもメンバーシップ入っていただけると嬉しいです。ではまた次の動画でお会いしましょう。さようなら。

Hello everyone, this is Arata Tomori. The temperature and humidity have been dropping day by day. At times like this, aside from your face, what tends to bother you is dryness on your hands and feet, especially that rough, flaky feeling. Until now, of course, applying hand cream or heel cream was the standard approach, but actually that era is coming to an end. This time, Curél has released groundbreaking hand care and heel care items, so today I want to dive deep into them. If you've tried various things for hand care and heel care but they just didn't stick or didn't work well, please watch until the end. First, let's talk about why hands and heels tend to get so dry, and why once they get dry, various care methods can end up making things worse in a loop. One reason is that there are almost no sebaceous glands there. Sebaceous glands are glands that secrete oil. When it comes to the face, some people dislike sebum because it causes shine, but sebum secreted from sebaceous glands actually strengthens the barrier function of the stratum corneum. Since there are no sebaceous glands, the barrier function is weak, which means external stimuli can easily penetrate, leading to inflammation. Another reason is that the stratum corneum is thick. Especially on the heels, since body weight is constantly applied there, the stratum corneum becomes thick. Even though the stratum corneum is thick, there's little sebum covering it. So, for example, if moisture evaporates, it easily cracks. It's like mochi (rice cake) — without a coating on top, it cracks easily. In the same way, even though the stratum corneum is thick, if sebum properly sits on top it would be fine, but once moisture escapes, cracks really do form more and more, and stimuli enter from there, causing inflammation, which leads to more moisture loss — a negative cycle. So, since there are no sebaceous glands, the conventional wisdom has been to provide moisture and apply cream or oil as a substitute for the sebum film. But when you apply something to your hands, can you really leave it to sit for 5 minutes as instructed? Also, even with products that claim great absorption, there's always some stickiness after application. In that state, if you try to use your smartphone, you'll get fingerprints and stickiness on it, or it might slip out of your hands. As for heels, even if you apply cream before bed and put on socks, your socks will rub against your heels while you sleep. That rubs off the care product you carefully applied. And even during the day, not just while sleeping, you're walking around, so it rubs off too. But you can't just avoid using your hands, or apply something to bare feet and leave it be. I think that's when Kao came up with an idea. Kao actually also makes Quickle Wiper, diapers, and other fiber products. They thought about whether they could apply that fiber technology here. Do you remember Fine Fiber, which I introduced quite a while back? It's a skincare technology where you spray it on your face, forming a film that acts like a pseudo stratum corneum. They thought about applying that to hands and feet. But if it comes off right after application, there's no point, so they thought about making it like gloves and socks. Apparently, that was incredibly difficult to achieve. What this actually looks like is this — heel care masks and hand care masks. There are two sizes, S/M and M/L. They look similar, packaged like this, with 4 sheets included, meaning you can use them twice. Instead of using it as is, you apply this hand cream to your own hands, and after applying, you put this on snugly like this, forming a glove shape. Just looking at this, some of you might think, "Wait, doctor, is there really any meaning in Curél releasing something like this now?" If you thought that, you owe Kao an apology. What's amazing here is that Fine Fiber consists of extremely thin single fibers, about 1/30th the thickness of regular nonwoven fabric. When there's water, thanks to something called capillary action, it pulls water strongly toward itself and has a strong ability to trap it. When I apply cream — say, this Curél hand care cream — since the care ingredient is sealed inside, if you wear this while sleeping, moisture stays locked in your hands. The heel version works on the same principle, in a sock shape. After applying heel cream, you put this on and can sleep with it, or wear regular socks over it and go about your day. I thought this was quite groundbreaking. Since moisture stays locked inside the whole time, when you take it off, your hands become truly smooth. Even small hangnails can heal almost instantly. However, Fine Fiber is extremely prone to tearing. So how did they manage to make this work? They said it took an enormous amount of time to spray Fine Fiber onto a stretchable fiber base, using their existing technology from diapers and Quickle Wiper, and get it to adhere firmly. It sounds simple, but apparently it was very difficult to achieve. They make a large roll of this material and then cut out hand and foot shapes from it. Some might say rubber gloves would work just as well, but rubber gloves lack breathability. Some people experience itching due to getting damp inside. Fine Fiber, on the other hand, has good breathability. While it firmly draws in water, air can still pass through, so itching from dampness rarely occurs. Another interesting point is that normally, even if you apply cream, it ends up uneven because of touching or walking around. But with Fine Fiber, it absorbs evenly throughout, eliminating unevenness. Being able to thoroughly care for the entire hand is a wonderful benefit. Also, a key point in making these gloves is that no adhesive is used at all in their construction. This is to prevent people with sensitive skin from experiencing itching due to unnecessary substances like adhesives — showing that a lot of care went into the design. This really isn't just a glove or just a sock — it's quite surprising. This was also properly presented at the recent Japanese Society of Aesthetic Dermatology conference. Fundamentally, hands and feet don't improve quickly. But patients reported that the dryness disappeared, and we doctors, upon proper examination, also confirmed that dryness clearly improved — and this data was obtained in just 2 weeks. It's rare to see such improvement in hands or feet in such a short period. In that sense, this is quite groundbreaking, and I think it's an item that can significantly improve our quality of life. As for why I often say sheet masks that get wet are no good — first, Fine Fiber has good breathability. Also, the key point for hands is that what you apply is cream, not water. With cream, oil content is properly delivered. If you kept applying water to your hands, they'd get waterlogged, but this time, cream is properly delivered, meaning oil stays on the heels or hands continuously. Our face is coated with oil secreted from sebaceous glands. Since that can't happen on hands and heels, sebum is replaced with cream, which then continuously coats the skin — so it's a bit different from a facial sheet mask. Please just keep that point in mind. Of course, you can wear it while sleeping or during the day. It's more hygienic to discard it after one day's use, and if you keep adding more cream repeatedly, it may stop absorbing further, so I think using one sheet per day is best. Even wearing it for just a few hours makes a huge difference in hand softness. So if you've tried many items before but your hands or heels just don't improve much, this could be quite a groundbreaking item for you. As for the care product you apply, cream-type products are fine, and oil might work too, but I think something with higher oil content is better than something gel-like or water-heavy. This winter, with proper hand care and heel care, I think fewer people will be troubled by rough, dry hands or feet.
