皮膚科医が成分で選んだシャンプーを解説します。

皆さんこんにちは、内科・皮膚科医の友利新です。今日は皆さんからも要望があったシャンプーについてお話ししたいと思います。結構皆さんから「先生はどういう基準でシャンプーを選んでますか？」といったことを聞かれることが多かったので、今回はきちっとその辺をお話ししてみようかなと思いますので、最後までご覧ください。 まず私がシャンプーを選ぶときに重要視している3つの成分についてお話しします。1つ目が洗浄成分です。これは界面活性剤と呼ばれるもので、「洗う」というスキンケア行為は必ずリスクを伴うものだとお話ししていますよね。洗浄剤によって大切な皮脂が取り除かれてしまうのです。頭皮も同じで、頭皮は普通の皮膚とはちょっと違って油分が結構多いのですが、皮膚の水分を保持する能力が少ないため、インナードライになりやすい。乾燥もしやすい上に油っぽいという複雑な構造をしているので、皮脂を取り過ぎないように、かといって取り過ぎなさすぎると皮脂が多くなって痒みの原因になるので、良いバランスのものを選ぶようにしています。 2つ目がポリマー剤です。ポリマー剤がたくさん入っているものはあまり良くないのですが、良いバランスで配合されていると髪の毛がサラサラになります。どういうポリマー剤をどのように配合しているかは見分けが難しいのですが、サラサラになるか、髪が絡まりにくいかなどがポイントになります。私は髪が長いので、そういった点も重視しています。 3つ目が美容成分です。頭皮環境はもちろん、女性は髪の毛が長いので、ダメージヘアをどのように補修してくれるか、補修成分がどのように配合されているかもポイントにしています。 シャンプーは毎日使うものなので、高すぎたり入手しにくいのは困りますよね。なので今回は、ドラッグストアやネットで手軽に買えるものをご紹介します。 【1つ目：セグレタ プレミアムスパフォームシャンプー】 シャンプーの洗浄成分の多くはアニオン系と呼ばれる陰イオン系界面活性剤です。アニオン系の中にも洗浄力が高いタイプと、アミノ酸系と呼ばれる優しいタイプがあります。このシャンプーにはアニオン系のラウレス硫酸ナトリウムとラウレス硫酸アンモニウムの2種類がメインに配合されており、さらにアミノ酸系のココイルグルタミン酸ナトリウムも含まれています。 「ラウレス硫酸ナトリウム」と「ラウレス硫酸アンモニウム」という名前を聞いて、「シャンプーに入ってはいけない成分では？」と思う方もいるかもしれません。確かに名前が似た「ラウリル硫酸ナトリウム」は洗浄力が非常に強く、頭皮への刺激が問題になることがありました。しかし「ラウレス硫酸」はラウリル系の洗浄力を改良し、安全性を高めたものです。敏感肌の方は注意が必要な場合もありますが、皮脂をきちんと取り除きながらも刺激性を抑えた成分です。 またこのシャンプーには「ビスメトキシプロピルアミドイソドデカン」というセラミド系成分が含まれています。花王はセラミドの研究に力を入れており、髪の補修成分としてセラミド系を配合しているのが特徴的です。さらに花王といえば炭酸ですが、このシャンプーは泡で出てくるタイプで、二酸化炭素（炭酸）が配合されており、血流を良くする効果も期待できます。頭皮環境を整えながら髪の毛の補修もでき、泡が細かいので洗いやすいのも魅力です。一般のドラッグストアでも購入できます。頭皮が油っぽい方や、うねりが気になり始めた方におすすめです。 【2つ目：椿・まむいシャンプー（やいつばきまむいシャンプー）】 こちらは髪の毛がサラサラになるシャンプーです。洗浄成分はラウロイルメチルアラニンやラウラミドプロピルベタインといったアミノ酸系が中心で、頭皮に優しい処方です。油分が多い方にはやや洗浄力が物足りない場合があり、ワックスをしっかり使う方は2度洗いが必要かもしれません。リンケアの考えに近いシャンプーです。 ケラチン、ヒアルロン酸、椿油など髪の補修成分が豊富に配合されています。そして最大のポイントはポリマー剤で、「ポリクオタニウム-65」が配合されています。一般的によく使われるポリクオタニウム-10と異なり、ポリクオタニウム-65はあまり配合されることがない成分で、この独自の配合比率がサラサラ感の秘密ではないかと思います。髪を整えたい方に特におすすめです。 【3つ目：バイダリズム オーガニックスカルプシャンプー】 こちらは私がプロデュースしているシャンプーです。私が勤務する表参道スキンクリニックでは毛髪外来を行っており、薄毛などの治療をしています。治療と並行して日々の頭皮ケアができるシャンプーをとの声から開発したのがバイダリズムです。頭皮環境を整えることが最大のコンセプトで、脱毛を防ぐために頭皮環境にとことんこだわっています。 メインの洗浄成分は「コカミドプロピルベタイン」と「ココイル加水分解コラーゲンK」というアミノ酸系成分です。コラーゲン由来で髪の補修にも優れており、頭皮に非常に優しく、皮脂を取り過ぎない上に泡立ちも良い成分です。美容室専売シャンプーにもよく使われる成分です。さらに「スルホコハク酸C12-14パレス-2Na」という陰イオン系界面活性剤も配合しており、ワックスなどのスタイリング剤もしっかり落としつつ、刺激を最小限に抑えています。 また「ピロリジニルジアミノピリミジンオキシド（通称：ピロクトンオラミン）」という成分も配合されています。これはミノキシジルに似た構造を持ちながら化粧品に配合できる成分で、開発時に「頭皮ケアシャンプーに絶対入れたい」と考えた成分です。日本で初めてこの成分を配合したシャンプーがバイダリズムではないかと思っています。私自身も6〜7年愛用しているシャンプーです。 【番外編：ザック パールリッチシャンプー】 こちらはサロン専売品で、私が通っている美容室「ザック」のオリジナルシャンプーです。担当の高橋さんが髪の質にとことんこだわって作られており、しっかりした洗浄成分に加え、イドフォームオイルやリアンダーオイルなど様々な成分が配合されています。バイダリズムにも配合されているココイル加水分解コラーゲンKも入っています。バイダリズムが頭皮環境重視なのに対し、こちらのザックオリジナルは髪の補修に特化しています。ザックのトリートメントを受けた後にこのシャンプーを使うと、髪がとてもまとまりやすくなります。気になる方はザックのホームページをご確認ください。 【まとめ】 シャンプーを選ぶポイントは、洗浄成分・ポリマー剤・補修成分の3つです。洗浄成分はアニオン系（陰イオン系）とアミノ酸系に大きく分類され、強さの異なるものを組み合わせているものが理想です。落としすぎても落とさなさすぎても痒みの原因になります。迷ったときはまず優しいものを試し、それでも痒みが出る場合は洗浄力が足りていない可能性があるので2度洗いを試してみてください。逆に洗浄力が高めのものを使って痒みが出るなら、優しいものに変えてみましょう。また、夏場は皮脂分泌が活発になるため、季節によってシャンプーを使い分けることもおすすめです。 このチャンネルでは美容や健康についてわかりやすくお話ししています。よかったらチャンネル登録をお願いします。取り上げてほしいテーマがあればコメント欄にお寄せください。では、また次の動画でお会いしましょう。さようなら。

I often get asked, "Doctor, how do you choose your shampoo?" so I'd like to thoroughly address that topic today. Please watch until the end. When I choose a shampoo, I focus on three key ingredients. The first is the cleansing ingredient, which refers to surfactants. As I always say, the act of "washing" in skincare inherently carries risks—it removes important sebum from the skin. The scalp is no exception. The scalp is somewhat different from regular skin: it tends to be oilier, yet it has a lower capacity to retain moisture, making it prone to "inner dryness." It's a complex situation where the scalp is both dry and oily. So I look for a shampoo that removes excess sebum without stripping too much, since over-cleansing causes itchiness, and under-cleansing also leads to excess sebum and itchiness. The second is polymer agents. Too many polymers aren't ideal, but when they're well-balanced, they help make hair smooth and tangle-free. Since I have long hair, I pay attention to whether a shampoo's polymer composition helps with smoothness and detangling. The third is beauty/repair ingredients. Since women often have long hair, it's important to consider what kind of repair agents are included to treat damaged hair. Since shampoo is something you use every day, it's impractical if it's too expensive or hard to find. Today, I'll introduce products that are easy to purchase at drugstores or online. 【1. Segreta Premium Spa Foam Shampoo】 Most shampoos contain anionic surfactants as their cleansing agents. Within anionic surfactants, there are stronger types and gentler types known as amino acid-based surfactants. This shampoo primarily contains two anionic surfactants—sodium laureth sulfate and ammonium laureth sulfate—along with an amino acid-based surfactant, sodium cocoyl glutamate. Some people worry that sodium laureth sulfate or ammonium laureth sulfate shouldn't be in shampoos. It's true that a similarly named ingredient—sodium lauryl sulfate—has very high cleansing power and was known to irritate the scalp. However, laureth sulfates are an improved, safer version of lauryl sulfates. While extremely sensitive individuals may still experience some irritation, laureth sulfates are designed to effectively remove sebum while minimizing irritation. This shampoo also contains a ceramide-based ingredient called bismethoxypropyl amide isododecanediol. Kao has conducted extensive research on ceramides, and it's interesting to see them incorporating ceramide-based repair ingredients for hair. Kao is also well-known for carbonated products—this shampoo is a foam type that contains carbon dioxide, which can help improve scalp blood circulation. It cleanses the scalp environment and helps repair hair, and its fine bubbles make it easy to use. It's available at general drugstores. Recommended for those with oily scalps or those experiencing hair waviness. 【2. Tsubaki Mamu Shampoo】 This shampoo is designed to make hair beautifully smooth. Its cleansing agents are primarily amino acid-based, including lauroyl methyl alanine and lauramidopropyl betaine, making it gentle on the scalp. Those with very oily scalps may find the cleansing power somewhat insufficient, and those who use strong-hold styling products may need to wash twice. It takes a care-focused approach similar to hair conditioning. It contains a rich variety of hair repair ingredients such as keratin, hyaluronic acid, and camellia oil. The standout feature is its polymer agent: polyquaternium-65. Unlike the commonly used polyquaternium-10, polyquaternium-65 is relatively rare in shampoo formulations. I believe this unique polymer composition is behind the shampoo's remarkable smoothing effect. It's an excellent choice for those looking to improve hair manageability. 【3. Vidarisme Organic Scalp Shampoo】 This is a shampoo that I personally developed. At Omotesando Skin Clinic, where I work, we have a hair loss clinic that treats conditions like alopecia. Patients receiving medical treatments asked us to develop a shampoo for daily scalp care, and that's how Vidarisme was born. Its core concept is scalp health—a poor scalp environment contributes to hair loss, so we were extremely particular about scalp-friendly formulation. The main cleansing ingredients are cocamidopropyl betaine and cocoyl hydrolyzed collagen K (amino acid K). Derived from collagen, these ingredients are excellent for hair repair and are extremely gentle on the scalp, cleansing without stripping too much oil while producing good lather. These are ingredients commonly found in professional salon-exclusive shampoos. We also included sodium C12-14 pareth-2 sulfosuccinate, an anionic surfactant that effectively removes styling products while keeping irritation to a minimum—carefully balanced to achieve the ideal formulation. Vidarisme also contains an ingredient called pyrrolidinyl diaminopyrimidine oxide (commonly known as pyrithione zinc-related compound or pyrolodine), which has a structure similar to minoxidil—a medication we use medically for hair loss—yet can be legally incorporated into cosmetics. When I discovered this ingredient, I was determined to include it in a scalp-focused shampoo. Vidarisme may well be the first shampoo in Japan to incorporate this ingredient. It's one of the main reasons I've personally used it for the past 6–7 years. 【Bonus: Zak Pearl Rich Shampoo】 This is a salon-exclusive product—the original shampoo from Zak, my personal hair salon. Mr. Takahashi at Zak is incredibly meticulous about hair quality. The shampoo features solid cleansing ingredients along with various oils such as idrof oil and oleander oil, and also contains cocoyl hydrolyzed collagen K, which is also in Vidarisme. While Vidarisme focuses on scalp health, Zak's original shampoo specializes in hair repair. Using it after a Zak treatment makes hair significantly more manageable. Please check Zak's website for more information. 【Summary】 The three key points when choosing a shampoo are: cleansing ingredients, polymer agents, and repair/beauty ingredients. Cleansing agents are broadly categorized into anionic and amino acid-based types, and the ideal shampoo combines different strengths of each. Both over-cleansing and under-cleansing can cause itchiness. When in doubt, start with a gentler option. If itchiness persists, the shampoo may not be cleansing thoroughly enough—try washing twice. Conversely, if you experience itchiness with a stronger shampoo, switch to a gentler one.
