前何を話したかっていうと、美白ってどういう風なメカニズムでなってるかっていうお話で、まず紫外線当たりました。肌のDNA傷ついちゃう。メラノサイトさん、メラニン作ってくださいっていう指令がまずいく。メラノサイトっていうメラニンの工場が稼働してメラニン作る。作られたメラニンを肌の細胞に渡す。渡されたらそこでシミができるっていう感じだから、まず指令を止める。工場を止める。工場から運送を止める。過剰になったメラニンをどんどん出していくっていうこの4つの場所をそれぞれブロックすれば、ある程度大丈夫だよっていうお話をしたと思うんでね。 それぞれ対応する成分が違っていて、指令をなくすのがカモミラETだったりとか、トラネキサム酸だったり。メラニンを抑えるっていうのがアルブチンだったりとか、あとは麹酸だったりとか、ビタミンCだったりとか。ここはトラネキサム酸も入ってきたりするんだけれども、作ったメラニンを受け渡すのを抑えるのがナイアシンアミド。できたシミをどんどん排出させていくのが、はい、なんでしょう？覚えてますか？ まず1個でいろんなものが入ってるなと思うのが、角はすごいなって思うのが、これにはグリチルリチン酸は美白の有効成分じゃないんだけれど、炎症を抑えるっていうところで、限りなく指令を抑えるっていうところに働くかなと。トラネキサム酸も指令を抑える一番のところをカットしてくれるものだし、4MSKは美白の有効成分なんで、メラニンを作らせないっていうところと、さっき言った一部排出っていうところもあるので、1,2,4はもうこの1個でコンプリートされてるわけ。 Though I think there are about 2 concerns from my perspective, so this time I've created combinations for either moisturizers or specific skin types and situations, and I'd like to share them with you today. Yeah, there are quite a few. We've gathered things from affordable drugstore products to luxury department store cosmetics. I see. So previously we talked about what the mechanism of whitening is. Basically, UV rays hit your skin and damage the DNA. A signal goes to melanocytes saying "please make melanin." The melanin factory, the melanocytes, start operating and produce melanin. The produced melanin is transferred to skin cells, and that's where spots form. So you need to stop the signal, stop the factory, stop the transport from the factory, and get excess melanin out constantly. By blocking these 4 places respectively, it's basically fine, like we discussed. Each place requires different ingredients. For stopping the signal, there's camoile ET, tranexamic acid, and so on. For suppressing melanin production, there's arbutin, koji acid, vitamin C, and so on. Tranexamic acid comes in here too. For suppressing the transfer of produced melanin, there's niacinamide. For expelling the spots that have formed, well, what was it? Do you remember? That's pretty sudden to ask me. It's summer, sorry. It's summer. For the expulsion type, there's decantenol from the Pola Orbis group and MP from Otsuka Pharmaceutical—basically those two. Since there are only these two, you have to incorporate one of them, but even though they're not officially recognized as whitening active ingredients, things like BHA or peeling agents can promote skin turnover through a little bit of peeling, so those kinds of things are included. Also, 4MSK is officially registered as a whitening active ingredient for suppressing melanin oxidation, but its most significant action is actually thinning the stratum corneum and promoting skin turnover. Even though glycyrrhetinic acid isn't an official whitening ingredient, it works by suppressing inflammation, which basically limits the signal. Tranexamic acid cuts off the main signal suppression, and 4MSK is an official whitening ingredient, so it stops melanin production and also has some expulsion effect as I mentioned. So steps 1, 2, and 4 are actually all covered in this one product. It's not just that, but for today we're just looking at the official active ingredients. You only need to care about suppressing the transfer of produced melanin, which is niacinamide. But what makes the combination super powerful is La Roche-Posay's Mela B3. This contains niacinamide too. Plus, there's L'Oreal Group's exclusive ingredient Melanojuryl included. Until now, there have been lots of ingredients to suppress melanin oxidation, and they basically suppress tyrosinase activity, but there are always some that can't be completely suppressed. Also, if you don't go out much and stay in an office all day, you don't really need to suppress external stimulation. But if you want to focus on creating radiance and luminosity, then I think these two are good. SK-II Genoptics Infinite Aura Essence. Plus Orbis Advanced Brightening Serum. Orbis's Brightening Serum contains decantenol, the expulsion type I mentioned. SK-II contains niacinamide. So while it only seems to handle transfer and expulsion, Pitera, while not officially recognized as a whitening ingredient, works to even out skin tone—there are reds, yellows, and melanin's brown, so it evens out all these colors. So if you want to even out existing discoloration while expelling melanin and further boosting radiance, this is pretty good. For those who really want to thoroughly cut off the signal, this is the set for you. This isn't quite an essence, but it's Ishizawa Lab Brightening Essence Lotion. It contains glycyrrhetinic acid stearyl. Plus Curel's Spot and Freckle Prevention Care. This contains camoile ET. When UV rays hit, it suppresses prostaglandins. It has pretty quick action, and only Kao has this. Plus it's Curel, so even if your skin is slightly inflamed and sensitive, it's fine. Since UV exposure usually calls for emergency treatment, many people ask what to do, but you could call this an emergency treatment set. You need to stop the signal first, so whether you went to the beach today or did some outdoor activity, this is good for spot care.
