This year some incredible foaming cleansers have come out, so today I want to talk about foaming face washes. I think foam is really important. Whipping up soap on a net to be wrapped in fluffy foam is a nice, mindful part of your routine, but when it's too much of a hassle to whip up foam in the morning, foam-type cleansers that dispense ready-made foam are amazing, right? But it's not just about foam coming out—there are various secrets hidden within, and depending on what ingredients are included, the skin type it suits changes. So today I want to explain in detail what technology is packed into the latest Sofina iP Micro Foam Serum Cleanser and Dr.365 Moist Foaming Wash, and what skin types they're suited for. First, this one—since they call it a "serum," they're saying it washes your face like a beauty serum. Sofina iP is made by Kao, right? Kao Group has released many foam cleansers, and Sofina iP is their latest. This one doesn't just whip up foam—it dispenses carbonated foam. Kao has been researching carbonation for nearly 50 years. When you think Kao, you think Bub, and when you think Bub, you think carbonation—that's the background of their carbonation research. Most carbonated foam cleansers on the market use LP gas to create foam and then add carbonation into it, but Kao's product dispenses foam made with nearly 100% carbon dioxide gas. This is important.
