【老化防止の最強スキンケア】最新セラミドを配合したスキンケアを紹介します

みなさんこんにちは、とも(共)に新田です。今日は、老化を止めるかもしれないすごいセラミドについてお話ししようと思います。 みなさん、セラミドと聞くと『乾燥肌予防』というイメージが強く、肌が弱い人向けで、エイジングというよりも今ある乾燥を止めてくれるものだと思われがちですよね。もちろん乾燥が起こると炎症が起こり、それが老化につながっていくので、セラミドを補うことで乾燥から守ってくれる、というイメージだったと思います。ですが実は、セラミドには老化を予防してくれる可能性があることが分かり、それを配合した化粧品が発売されました。今日はそちらを深掘りしていきたいと思います。 ズバリ、老化を予防してくれる可能性があるセラミドは『発酵型セラミド』です。この発酵型セラミドは、ロート製薬さんが以前から研究・開発しているものです。お醤油を作るときにできる『麹（こうじ）』に着目し、そこからできる天然由来のセラミドを研究する中で見つけたそうです。 この麹由来の天然セラミドの中の一つに名前をつけて研究を進めていったところ、通常のセラミドは『角質細胞間脂質にセラミドを補うことで乾燥を防ぐ』、つまりあくまで“補うもの”だったのに対し、この発酵型セラミドは補うだけでなく、肌自身がセラミドを作る機能自体をアップさせる、つまりセラミドを増やしてくれることが分かったんです。これは2017年時点でもとても話題になりました。 ロート製薬のロングセラーである敏感肌向けシリーズ『キュアセラ』にはもともとこの発酵型セラミドが配合されていて、保湿だけでなく、乾燥肌自体を根本から改善していこうというコンセプトの商品でした。今でも敏感肌の方に愛用者が多いシリーズです。 自分でセラミドを増やせることが分かった一方で、この発酵型セラミドを使い続けていると『赤みが減る』という声が徐々に上がってきたそうです。乾燥感がなくなるだけでなく、そうした肌トラブルも減っていく――これはもしかして発酵型セラミドが何かしているのでは、と再度研究が行われ、今回新たに発表されたのが『慢性炎症を抑える』という発見です。 どういうことかというと、私たちの細胞は紫外線や乾燥などで炎症が起こるとダメージを受け、通常は死んでいきます。ですが一部の細胞はゾンビのように生き残ってしまい、これを『老化細胞』と呼びます。この老化細胞は『SASP因子』と呼ばれるさまざまな因子を放出し、自分だけでなく隣の細胞や遠くの細胞にまで『一緒に老化細胞になれ』と働きかけてしまうんです。そうすると老化細胞がどんどん増え、そこからまたSASP因子が放出されて周囲を老化させる、という悪循環が起こります。 実はこの老化細胞は若い方や赤ちゃんにも存在しているのですが、通常は体に備わった仕組みで老化細胞を抑えているため増えすぎることはありません。しかし、この老化細胞を抑える機能自体が加齢とともに衰えていくと、老化細胞が一気に増え、シミ・シワ・たるみ・くすみといった老化現象が起こってくる、というのが最近の老化研究で分かってきたことです。 そして今回の発酵型セラミドは、このSASP因子を抑えることが分かりました。SASP因子を抑えることで、老化細胞が引き起こす慢性炎症を抑え、エイジングを食い止める――すごいことですよね。乾燥を防ぐだけでなく、セラミドを増やし、さらに老化そのものを抑えるところまで発見されたのは、とても画期的だと思います。 さらにこの発酵型セラミドのすごいところは、本来セラミドは油にしか溶けず化粧水や美容液には配合しづらいのですが、高圧でナノ化することで、コクのある化粧水や美容液にも配合できるようになった点です。これまでの技術では高濃度に配合するとテクスチャーが今ひとつだったのですが、今回さらに技術を向上させ、高濃度配合が可能になりました。 また、ロート製薬は胃薬や目薬も作っている会社ですよね。胃薬でいうとパンシロン、ご存じですか？ 胃もたれのときに飲むあれです。あれには『グアイアズレンスルホン酸ナトリウム』という成分が入っていて、高い抗炎症作用があります。また粘膜保護作用もあるため、目薬や胃薬に配合されているんです。慢性炎症を抑えることが老化を抑えるポイントでもあるため、発酵型セラミドとグアイアズレンスルホン酸ナトリウムを組み合わせた複合体『ブルーセラミド』を開発しました。 それを配合し、9月に発売されたのが『ブルーミオ』シリーズです。導入美容液、化粧水、クリームというラインナップで、シンプルながらしっかり保湿しつつ積極的にエイジングケアもしていく、攻めた商品だと思います。 化粧品なのに“青”というのは珍しいですが、これはグアイアズレンスルホン酸自体が青い成分だからなんです。実際に美容液も驚くほど青いです。肌にのせるとすっと入っていき、伸びがとても良いです。セラミド配合というとベタつきそうなイメージがありますが、そんなことはなく、スッと肌になじんでいく美容液です。一番濃度が濃いのはこの導入美容液だと思うので、すでに美容液を複数使っている方は、化粧水から取り入れるのもおすすめです。 化粧水はシャバシャバとしたテクスチャーで、よく見ると青みがかっていますが、液体全体としてはそこまで青くは見えません。美容液に比べるとしっとりした使用感です。 クリームも同様に青白い色をしていて、これもグアイアズレンスルホン酸ナトリウムの色です。クリームにはナイアシンアミドも配合されていて、ベタベタしたクリームが苦手な方でもスルッとなじむ、心地よいテクスチャーです。抗炎症作用のあるブルーセラミドに加えてナイアシンアミドもしっかり配合されていて、デパートコスメのクリームにも負けないテクスチャーと機能性なのではないかと思います。 まとめると、ロート製薬が2017年に開発した発酵型セラミドは、セラミドを補うだけでなく肌自身のセラミド産生機能を高めてくれることが分かっていました。そして今回の研究で、老化の原因である慢性炎症――老化細胞がSASP因子を放出して周囲まで老化させてしまう現象――を抑えられることが新たに分かりました。その抗炎症作用をさらに高めるため、同じく抗炎症作用の高いグアイアズレンスルホン酸ナトリウムを組み合わせて『ブルーセラミド』を開発し、それを高濃度配合したのが今回の『ブルーミオ』シリーズです。 保湿もしたい、乾燥も防ぎたい、でも炎症ケア・エイジングケアもしたい、という方にはとても嬉しいシリーズだと思います。ドラッグストアでも購入できるので、一歩進んだエイジングケアをしたい方はぜひ試してみてください。 いかがでしたか？ 今日の内容が良かったという方は、ぜひ高評価ボタンを押していただいたり、チャンネル登録していただけると嬉しいです。『これも深掘りしてほしい』というテーマがあれば、ぜひコメント欄に書いてください。また次の動画でお会いしましょう。さようなら。

Hello everyone, this is Tomo Nitta. Today I want to talk about an amazing ceramide that might actually help stop skin aging. When most people hear "ceramide," they think of it as something for preventing dry skin—more suited to sensitive skin types, focused on stopping current dryness rather than anti-aging. Of course, dryness leads to inflammation, which does contribute to aging, so ceramides were seen as something that protects skin from dryness. But it turns out ceramides may also help prevent aging itself, and a skincare line containing this ingredient has just been released. Today I'd like to dive deeper into that. The ceramide in question, which may have anti-aging potential, is called "fermented ceramide." This fermented ceramide has been researched and developed by Rohto Pharmaceutical for quite some time. They focused on the koji (fermentation starter) that forms during soy sauce production, and while researching the natural ceramide derived from it, they made this discovery. Among the natural ceramides derived from koji, they identified and named one specific compound and continued researching it. Normally, ceramides work by being added to the intercellular lipids of the stratum corneum to prevent dryness—essentially just supplementing what's missing. However, this fermented ceramide was found to do more than that: it actually boosts the skin's own ability to produce ceramide, meaning it increases ceramide production. This was already a big topic of discussion back in 2017. This fermented ceramide has long been included in Rohto's popular sensitive-skin line, "Cure Cera." The concept behind Cure Cera wasn't just about moisturizing, but about fundamentally repairing dry, sensitive skin from its root cause. Even now, many people with sensitive skin love this line. While it was known that this ingredient could boost the skin's own ceramide production, users who continued using it also began reporting reduced redness over time. It wasn't just that dryness improved—these skin troubles seemed to decrease too. This led researchers to wonder if the fermented ceramide was doing something more, prompting further research. That research led to today's new discovery: fermented ceramide can suppress chronic inflammation. Here's what that means: when our cells are damaged by things like UV rays or dryness, inflammation occurs and the cells usually die off. However, some cells survive like "zombies"—these are called "senescent cells." These senescent cells release various factors known as "SASP factors" (Senescence-Associated Secretory Phenotype), which don't just affect the senescent cell itself but signal to neighboring and even distant cells to become senescent as well. This causes senescent cells to multiply, releasing even more SASP factors and creating a vicious cycle of aging in surrounding tissue. Interestingly, senescent cells exist even in young people and babies. Normally, our bodies have mechanisms to suppress these senescent cells, preventing them from increasing excessively. However, as we age, this suppression mechanism weakens, causing senescent cells to increase rapidly—leading to visible aging signs like spots, wrinkles, sagging, and dullness. This is one of the latest findings in aging research. And this is where the new discovery comes in: fermented ceramide was found to suppress SASP factors. By suppressing SASP factors, it helps reduce the chronic inflammation caused by senescent cells, thereby helping to slow down aging. Isn't that amazing? Going beyond simply preventing dryness or boosting ceramide production, to actually helping curb aging itself—that's a truly groundbreaking discovery. Another remarkable thing about this fermented ceramide is related to formulation technology. Ceramides are normally only soluble in oil, making them difficat to incorporate into water-based products like toners or serums. However, by using high-pressure nano-processing, it became possible to incorporate ceramide into richer toners and serums. Previously, formulating a high concentration would compromise texture, but this time, the technology was further improved to allow high-concentration formulation while maintaining good texture. Also, remember that Rohto Pharmaceutical also makes stomach medicine and eye drops. For instance, their stomach medicine "Pansiron"—you might know it, the one people take for stomach discomfort. It contains an ingredient called sodium guaiazulene sulfonate, which has strong anti-inflammatory properties and also helps protect mucous membranes, which is why it's used in eye drops and stomach medicine. Since reducing chronic inflammation is key to fighting aging, Rohto combined fermented ceramide with sodium guaiazulene sulfonate to create a new complex called "Blue Ceramide." This Blue Ceramide complex is featured in the new "Blue Mio" line released in September. The lineup includes a first-step essence, a toner, and a cream. It's a simple lineup, but one that aggressively addresses both hydration and anti-aging care. It's unusual to see a skincare product that's blue in color, but that's because guaiazulene sulfonate itself is naturally blue. In fact, the essence is surprisingly vivid blue. When applied to the skin, it glides on smoothly and spreads beautifully. Despite containing ceramide, which you might expect to feel sticky, it actually absorbs quickly without any stickiness. This first-step essence likely contains the highest concentration of the active ingredients, so if you already use several serums, starting with the toner might be a good option. The toner has a light, watery texture. Looking closely, you can see a hint of blue, though the liquid as a whole doesn't appear strongly colored. Compared to the essence, it feels more moisturizing. The cream also has a pale bluish tint, which again comes from the sodium guaiazulene sulfonate. It also contains niacinamide. Even if you're not a fan of heavy, sticky creams, this one glides on smoothly without any greasy feeling. With the anti-inflammatory Blue Ceramide complex plus a generous amount of niacinamide, I'd say this cream rivals department store brand creams in both texture and functionality. To summarize: Rohto's fermented ceramide, developed back in 2017, was already known to not just supplement ceramide but also boost the skin's own ceramide production. This new research has now revealed that it can also suppress chronic inflammation caused by senescent cells releasing SASP factors—a key driver of aging. To further enhance this anti-inflammatory effect, Rohto combined it with sodium guaiazulene sulfonate, another powerful anti-inflammatory ingredient, to create "Blue Ceramide." This new "Blue Mio" line features this complex at a high concentration. For anyone who wants deep hydration, protection from dryness, and also wants to actively address inflammation and aging, this could be a wonderful skincare line to try.
