皆さん、こんにちは。森皮膚科医です。今日は「これはすごい」と私が思ったボディケアの商品を3つご紹介したいと思いますので、最後までご覧ください。 もうすぐ1月も終わり2月が近づいてきましたね。本当に乾燥の季節になってきました。お顔はもちろんですが、体も意外と乾燥しているんです。 特に日本人はお湯に浸かる習慣がありますよね。ヨーロッパに旅行に行った方は気づくと思うのですが、湯船にお湯を溜めてお風呂に入るという習慣はあまりありません。高級なホテルに行くとそんなことはないのですが、少しリーズナブルなホテルに行くと、シャンプーやコンディショナー、ボディソープは置いてないけれど、ボディクリームだけ置いてあるということがあります。 それはなぜかというと、ヨーロッパはかなり乾燥しているんです。お湯に浸かるとますます乾燥するので、シャワーだけにしてボディケアをしましょうという文化が根付いているぐらいなんですね。 日本は湿度があり高温多湿なところもあるので、ヨーロッパに比べれば湿度がある程度保たれていて、そこまで乾燥を感じてこなかった方もいらっしゃると思います。ですが、今が一年の中で一番日本が乾燥している時期になります。 なのでお顔と同じように、ボディも保湿していかなければいけません。特にこの時期はしっかりボディケアをしていく必要があります。今までボディのケアにはそこまで興味がなかったという方でも、今日は手軽に取り入れられるようにお手頃価格のものを選んでいますので、ぜひ最後までご覧ください。 早速、私が選んだ注目のボディケア一つ目はこちらです。「ニベア ロイヤルブルー ボディミルク」です。 ニベアといえば、一度は誰もが使ったことがある保湿ブランドだと思います。私はドラッグストアでいろいろ見て、ニベアにもたくさんの種類がありましたが、その中でも私がこのニベア ロイヤルブルー ボディミルクを選んだのは、保湿にしっかり特化しているからです。 正直、ニベアの中にはもっとお手頃価格のものもありました。ですが、これはニベアの中でも上位クラス、少しお高いものになります。その分プラスされている成分があるんです。 まず、保湿には欠かせないセラミドが入っています。パッケージには「角質潤い成分セラミド様」と書いてありますが、正式名称は「ヘキサデシロキシPGヒドロキシエチルヘキサデカナミド」という成分です。 これは何かというと、ニベアは花王さんのブランドで、花王はセラミドの中でも疑似セラミドの技術に非常に長けているブランドです。セラミドはもともと人間の角質層、細胞間脂質に存在しているもので、保湿力もとても高いのですが、ヒトセラミドはそれだけ効果はあるものの、コストが高い成分でもあります。 そのためスキンケアでも、フェイスケアには比較的多く配合されているのですが、ボディ用で大量に使うにはヒトセラミドが配合されているメーカーもあるものの、量が少なめなことが多いです。そこで花王さんやキュレルなど敏感肌用ブランドを作っているところが、たっぷりセラミドを入れたいけれど値段は抑えたいということで、疑似セラミドを研究に研究を重ねて開発しました。 この疑似セラミドは、ヒトセラミドのセラミドNGもしくはセラミド2とほぼ同じ構造を持っています。「疑似セラミドは人が作っているから」と思う方もいらっしゃるかもしれませんが、疑似セラミドの良いところは大量に作れることです。しっかり量を入れれば、ヒトセラミドと同じくらいの保湿力が出ます。少量のヒトセラミドよりも、疑似セラミドをたっぷり入れるという選択肢は十分ありだと私は思います。これはさすが花王さんです。 こちらにもそういった保湿成分として疑似セラミドがしっかりと入っています。成分表を見ると、この疑似セラミドが比較的上位に記載されているので、しっかりと保湿効果が期待できると思います。 それ以外にも、コレステロールやイソステアリン酸コレステリルなど、セラミドほどではありませんが、セラミドの保湿を助けるような細胞間脂質のもとになるバリア機能保持成分もしっかり入っています。ドラッグストアでニベアを使っていて、夏はニベアで良かったけれど秋冬になってワンランク上を求めたいという方にはとても良いと思います。 さらに、この商品を選んだ理由は美容ケアもできる点です。今は乾燥の季節ですが、今のうちからボディケアをしておいて、春夏に薄着になったときのために今から仕込んでおくことがとても大事だと思います。 美白成分としてビタミンC誘導体が入っています。これはLアスコルビン酸というビタミンC誘導体で、美白効果が期待できます。ボディはシミケアをあまり考えていないかもしれませんが、顔だけケアしていても、ボディも同じように透明感が出ることはとても良いことだと思います。紫外線のダメージや光老化を抑えてくれる可能性が高いです。 そのほかにコエンザイムQ10も配合されています。これは肌の細胞の活性化につながり、美白効果や肌に張りを与える効果も期待できます。保湿もできて美容ケアもできる、ということですね。 さらに保湿成分としてヒアルロン酸も入っており、保湿しながらボディの透明感や美白ケアもできます。肌のバリア機能を上げながら美容効果も得られる、それが近所のドラッグストアで買えるという、本当にお利口さんなボディケア用品だなと思って、こちらを選びました。 続いて、いいなと思ったボディケア用品2つ目はこちらです。「ニュートロジーナ ノルウェーフォーミュラ インテンスリペア ボディエマルジョン」です。 このニュートロジーナはドクターズブランドのような位置付けだと思います。こちらは何よりも保湿に特化しています。敏感肌や乾燥肌に向けた成分がぎゅっと入っています。 一番の推し成分はグリセリンです。グリセリンは皮膚科でも軟膏などに使われる、保湿効果が高い成分です。グリセリンはどのように保湿するかというと、お肌の水分を引き込んで抱え込むような働きをします。分子量が小さいので、角質の奥までぐんぐん入っていき、徐々に効いていきます。速効性はあまりありませんが、しっかり角質の奥まで浸透して水分を引き込むので、潤いを逃さず蒸発も防ぎます。すぐにというよりは、使い続けることでだんだん乾燥が気にならないお肌になっていくと思います。 もう一つすごいと思ったのが、アラントインという成分です。これは抗炎症作用があるもので、ニキビケアの商品にもよく使われています。ボディが乾燥してバリア機能が低下すると、炎症に傾いてしまうことがあります。微妙な慢性炎症が続くことで皮膚のバリア機能がさらに低下し、また乾燥するという悪循環になってしまいます。もちろんお薬ではないので、炎症が起きてしまった場合は病院に行って治療すべきですが、慢性炎症が起きそうなときにはアラントインのような抗炎症成分が入っていることで早めに鎮静化してくれます。そこにグリセリンなどが入っていて、しっかり保湿もしてくれるので、かなり乾燥している方にはとても良いと思います。 あと、こちらはキャップを回して押すチューブタイプなのですが、手が汚れないですし、全身に使うときの使い勝手も良く、これもドクターズブランドらしいなと思ったポイントです。 続いて、いいなと思ったボディケア商品3つ目はこちらです。「クナイプ グーテナハト ボディクリーム ホップ&バレリアンの香り」です。 こちらもしっかり保湿してくれます。植物オイルやミネラルオイル、グリセリンも配合されており、さらに酢酸トコフェロールというビタミンEの一種も入っているので、血行を良くしてバリア機能を高める効果も期待できます。 ただ、これが一番すごいと思ったのは、パッケージに「夜の美容ボディクリーム」と書いてあることです。何だろうと思って買って香りを嗅いでみると、すごくリラックスできる香りなんです。そのリラックスできる香りの正体はホップという植物と、バレリアンという植物です。バレリアンはヨーロッパで古くから、香りを嗅ぐと安眠効果があると言われているハーブの一種だそうです。 もちろんボディクリームとして保湿することも大切ですが、しっかり眠ることは皮膚のバリア機能を上げてくれる効果もあります。好き嫌いはあるかもしれませんが、私はこの香りが本当にリラックスできて、安眠効果も高いと感じました。香りは脳を興奮させたり、逆に鎮静させたりと、ダイレクトに脳に効いていくことが分かっています。クリームとしての保湿効果に加えて、リラックス効果によって相乗的に肌のバリア機能も上げていくのではないかと思い、こちらも選んでみました。 いかがでしたか？ボディケアは肌を露出する時期だけすればいいと思うかもしれませんが、今が一番お顔もボディも乾燥しやすい時期です。寒いからとお風呂で済ませてそのままにしていると、ボディは乾燥してしまいます。今のうちにしっかりボディケアを頑張ってください。 ということで、今日も最後までご覧いただきありがとうございました。また次の動画でもお会いしましょう。さよなら。 【チャンネル登録お願いします】

Hello everyone, I'm Arata Tomori, an internal medicine and dermatologist. Today I want to introduce three body care products that I think are really amazing, so please watch until the end. January is almost over and February is approaching—it's truly becoming the dry season. Not just our faces, but our bodies also tend to get surprisingly dry. Japanese people especially have a habit of soaking in a bathtub. If you've traveled to Europe, you may have noticed that filling a bathtub and soaking isn't really a common custom there. At luxury hotels it's different, but at more budget-friendly hotels, you might find shampoo, conditioner, and body soap missing, but body cream is provided instead. Why is that? Because Europe tends to be quite dry. Soaking in hot water there would make skin even drier, so the culture has developed around just showering and focusing on body care instead. Japan has humidity and can be hot and humid in some areas, so compared to Europe, humidity levels are relatively maintained, and some people may not have felt dryness as much. However, right now is the driest time of year in Japan. So just like our faces, we need to moisturize our bodies too. This is especially the season when proper body care matters most. Even if you haven't been very interested in body care until now, today I've selected affordable products that are easy to incorporate into your routine, so please watch till the end. Let's get right into the first body care product I've selected: Nivea Royal Blue Body Milk. Nivea is a moisturizing brand that almost everyone has used at least once. I looked around at the drugstore, and Nivea has many varieties, but I chose this Royal Blue Body Milk because it's truly focused on moisturizing. Honestly, there are more affordable options within the Nivea lineup. But this one is a slightly higher-end, premium option. The reason it's worth the extra cost is the added ingredients. First, it contains ceramide, which is essential for moisturizing. The package says "moisture-retaining ingredient, ceramide-like," but the official name is Hexyldecyloxy PG Hydroxyethyl Hexadecanamide. Nivea is a brand by Kao, and Kao is particularly skilled in pseudo-ceramide technology. Ceramide naturally exists in the human stratum corneum and intercellular lipids, giving it very high moisturizing power. However, human ceramide, while effective, tends to be a costly ingredient. That's why in skincare, facial products often contain relatively more ceramide, but for body products meant to be used in large amounts, even brands that include human ceramide often use it in smaller amounts. That's where Kao and sensitive-skin brands like Curél come in—they wanted to include plenty of ceramide while keeping costs down, so they researched extensively and developed pseudo-ceramide. This pseudo-ceramide has almost the same structure as human ceramide NG or ceramide 2. Some might think, "But it's artificial," however, the advantage of pseudo-ceramide is that it can be mass-produced. If used in sufficient quantity, it can provide moisturizing power comparable to human ceramide. I think choosing to use plenty of pseudo-ceramide rather than a small amount of human ceramide is a completely valid option. That's Kao's expertise showing through. This product contains this pseudo-ceramide as a moisturizing ingredient, and looking at the ingredient list, it's listed relatively high up, so I think it offers solid moisturizing effects. Beyond that, it also contains cholesterol and cholesteryl isostearate, which—while not as powerful as ceramide—help support the ceramide's moisturizing effect and reinforce the skin's barrier function as building blocks of intercellular lipids. For those who've used Nivea at the drugstore and thought it was fine in summer but want to step it up a notch heading into autumn and winter, this would be a great choice. Another reason I chose this product is that it also offers beauty care benefits. Even though it's currently dry season, starting body care now is important preparation for when you wear lighter clothing in spring and summer. As a whitening ingredient, it contains vitamin C derivative—specifically L-ascorbic acid—which offers whitening effects. People might not think much about dealing with spots on the body, but just like caring for the face, achieving transparency on the body is wonderful too. This ingredient likely helps suppress UV damage and photoaging. It also contains Coenzyme Q10, which is said to activate skin cells, potentially offering whitening effects and giving skin more firmness. So it moisturizes while also providing beauty care benefits. Additionally, hyaluronic acid is included as a moisturizing ingredient, allowing for both moisture retention and body brightening/whitening care. Being able to boost skin's barrier function while also incorporating beauty benefits—and being available at your neighborhood drugstore—makes this a truly smart body care product. That's why I chose it. Next, the second body care product I really liked is: Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Intense Repair Body Emulsion. Neutrogena has a positioning similar to a doctor's brand. This product is above all focused on moisturizing, packed with ingredients aimed at sensitive and dry skin. The standout ingredient here is glycerin. Glycerin is used even in dermatology, in ointments, for its strong moisturizing effect. How does glycerin moisturize? It draws in and holds onto the skin's moisture. Because it has a small molecular size, it penetrates deep into the stratum corneum and gradually takes effect. It's not instantly effective, but it thoroughly penetrates deep into the skin to draw in water, preventing moisture from evaporating. Rather than immediate results, continued use should gradually make dryness less noticeable. Another ingredient I found impressive is allantoin. This has anti-inflammatory properties and is commonly found in acne care products. When the body becomes dry and the skin barrier weakens, it tends to lean toward inflammation. Subtle chronic inflammation can further weaken the skin barrier, leading to a vicious cycle of continued dryness. Of course, this isn't medication, so if inflammation has already occurred, you should see a doctor for treatment. But when chronic inflammation is about to develop, having an anti-inflammatory ingredient like allantoin helps calm things down early. Combined with glycerin for solid moisturizing, this would be great for those with quite severe dryness. Also, this comes in a twist-cap tube type, which means your hands don't get messy, and it's convenient for full-body use—another reason it feels like a doctor's brand product. Next, the third body care product I liked is: Kneipp Gute Nacht Body Cream, Hop & Valerian Scent. This one also moisturizes well, containing plant oils, mineral oil, and glycerin, as well as tocopheryl acetate, a form of vitamin E that improves circulation and helps strengthen the skin barrier. But what impressed me most is that the package says "nighttime beauty body cream." I wondered what that meant, so I bought it and smelled it—it has an incredibly relaxing scent. That relaxing aroma comes from hops and valerian, two plants. Valerian is apparently an herb that has long been used in Europe for its scent's sleep-inducing effects. Of course, moisturizing as a body cream is important, but getting good sleep also helps boost the skin's barrier function. There may be differing preferences, but I personally find this scent truly relaxing and effective for promoting sound sleep. It's known that scent can directly affect the brain—either stimulating or calming it. Beyond the moisturizing effect of the cream itself, this unique relaxing element could create a synergistic effect that also boosts the skin's barrier function. That's why I chose this one as well. So, how was that? You might think body care is only necessary during seasons when skin is exposed, but actually, right now is when both your face and body are most prone to dryness. If you just take a bath because it's cold and leave it at that, your body ends up dry. So please make an effort with proper body care now. Thank you for watching until the end today.
