【究極の進化】肌ラボ極潤プレミアム　ヒアルロン化粧水について解説します！

みなさん、こんにちは。とも見（ともみ）です。 今日はですね、またまたロートさん、というか肌ラボさんがすごいことをやってくれました。こちら、じゃじゃん、肌ラボ極潤プレミアムが、この8月にまたバージョンアップしました。 肌ラボシリーズと言ったら、白い極潤、そしてブルーの白潤、赤の極潤エイジングケア、そして緑のトラブル肌・敏感肌向けのものがありますよね。この黄色は極潤プレミアム、高保湿タイプという感じで、2020年にも新しくなったんですけれども、今回2023年8月にまたバージョンアップしております。 今更なんですけれども、肌ラボのすごいところってヒアルロン酸ですよね。1つ前の2020年版の時には「7つのヒアルロン酸を配合」ということになっていました。 そもそもヒアルロン酸って何をやっているんだっけ、と思う方もいると思うんですけれども、もともとロート製薬さんというのは目薬とか胃腸薬を作っている製薬会社さんです。例えば目だったらドライアイなどで炎症が起きてしまった時にヒアルロン酸を入れて修復したり、胃もそうですよね、胃腸炎などが起こった時に修復してくれる、というもので、要は「傷の修復」というものにすごく研究をされています。 特にロートさんは目薬が有名なので、角膜のドライアイには昔からヒアルロン酸入りの点眼をして、それで角膜の傷を修復していた、というのがありました。このヒアルロン酸には、きっと保護するだけじゃなくて何か「修復」というものがあるんじゃないか、というものを研究しているのがロート製薬さんなんですね。 もともとこの肌ラボシリーズには、その今までの研究をギュギュッと詰め込んで、プラスアルファ、低価格でコストを抑えて、というのがポイントになってきます。いろいろなシリーズがあるんですけれども、ヒアルロン酸のすごい保湿力、そして修復力を余すところなく発揮するというのが、この極潤プレミアムになっています。 では今までどういったヒアルロン酸が入っていたか、というと、いろいろな種類のヒアルロン酸があるんですよね。膜を貼るタイプ、分子量を小さくして浸透させて修復するタイプなど、同じヒアルロン酸というものでも、ちょっとずつ役割が違います。今まで7種類入っていたんですけれども、それがどういった役割で、どういう場所に効いていくのか、というのをまずおさらいしたいと思います。 1つ目、角層の上に膜を貼るようにして内側の水分が蒸発しないようにするもの、「3Dヒアルロン酸」。成分名で言うと「ヒアルロン酸クロスポリマー」というものになります。これは本当に角層の上にとろっとした膜を貼るということで、極潤とか肌ラボシリーズのペタペタ感を演出してくれているのかなというふうに思います。 もう1つが、同じ角層の表面にアプローチするんですけれども、どんなに洗ったり時間が経ってもなくならない、「吸着型のヒアルロン酸」。成分名で言うと「ヒアルロン酸ヒドロキシプロピルトリモニウム」という成分になります。化粧水にはもちろん、洗顔などいろんなものに入っていて、潤い成分を逃さない、吸着して落とさない、という形になります。 そして、角層の表面あたりに普通に入っているのが「ヒアルロン酸ナトリウム」ですね。ヒアルロン酸というのは、もともと私たちが持っている保湿成分の1つで、だいたい言われているのが「1gのヒアルロン酸があれば6リットルの水を抱え込むことができる」ということで、どんなスキンケアにも入っているものの1つかなと思います。 そのヒアルロン酸ナトリウムをもう少しバージョンアップしたのが「スーパーヒアルロン酸」、アセチル化ヒアルロン酸とも言います。普通のヒアルロン酸は1gで6リットルの水分を抱え込むんですが、それをさらに2倍にしてあります。なので、普通のヒアルロン酸よりもアセチル化ヒアルロン酸の方がより保湿力が高い、ということになるんですね。これも同じように角層の表面あたりに効いてくるものになります。 そしてもう1つが「ナノ化ヒアルロン酸」、加水分解ヒアルロン酸とも言います。これは「ナノ化」というくらいなので分子量をめちゃめちゃ小さくしています。実はヒアルロン酸って結構分子量が大きいので、さっきから角層の表面とか、角層の上の方というふうに言ったんですけれども、それをもっと細かくして小さくすることで、角層の奥の方まで行きやすくしたのが、このナノ化ヒアルロン酸です。ただ、このナノ化ヒアルロン酸は分子量が小さくなっている分、そこまで保水能力は高くないのが現状です。だけれども、それを他のヒアルロン酸で補っているのかなというふうに思います。 もう1つ、ナノ化ヒアルロン酸というのは、バリア機能を高めるだけじゃなくて、細胞の炎症を抑えてくれるというところです。これ、すごくないですか。肌というのは紫外線が当たると、いろんな炎症のシグナルを出すんですが、その1つである「DAMPs」という炎症性の物質があるんですね。これが放出されると、隣の細胞にも「お前も炎症した方がいいよ」みたいなことを伝えてしまうんですよ。それをブロックするのが、この浸透型のヒアルロン酸になっています。 さっきロート製薬さんが「保護だけじゃなくて修復というものを研究している」というお話をしたんですが、それがまさにこれですよね。炎症が起こることで細胞にダメージが起こる。例えば角膜だったらその角膜の傷になったりしますし、肌だったらこれが老化につながるわけです。なので、やっぱり炎症をどれだけ抑えていくかがポイントになってくるわけです。バリア機能を高めて、それによって炎症も抑えるし、この浸透型のヒアルロン酸自体が肌の炎症を抑えていく、ということがわかっているんです。 そしてもう1つ、7種類のうちさらに小さくしたのが「浸透型のヒアルロン酸」になっています。確かこれと、次にお話しするものが、2020年のこの極潤プレミアムの時にプラスされた成分なんですね。成分名で見ると「加水分解ヒアルロン酸Na」と言って、ナノ化ヒアルロン酸と変わらないじゃん、みたいに見えちゃうんですけれども、実はこれもすごい研究が入っていて、角層の奥の方に浸透していくと、ヒアルロン酸を自分で作る能力が高まる、ということがわかっているんですよ。保湿力を補うだけじゃなくて、自らの力をアップさせるという意味でも、この浸透型のヒアルロン酸はすごくポイントになります。 そして7個目が「乳酸発酵ヒアルロン酸」です。これはロートさんが開発したものなんですけれども、乳酸菌で発酵させたヒアルロン酸なんですね。これは何をするかというと、細胞と細胞の間にはタイトジャンクションと言って接着剤でくっついているところがあるんですね。乳酸発酵型のヒアルロン酸というのは、このタイトジャンクションを強固にするので、バリア機能がアップするという、素晴らしい成分になっています。 そして今回、8個目のヒアルロン酸が入りました。それが「ヒアロリペア」です。これは、もともとヒアルロン酸というのは水に溶けやすい物質なんですね。でも今回のこのヒアロリペアというのは、水にも油にも溶けやすい性質を持っている、いわゆる「両親媒性」のヒアルロン酸になっています。通常のヒアルロン酸は角層の細胞に入って浸透していくような感じなんですけれども、ヒアロリペアは細胞間脂質を通って浸透していくんですよ。だからルートが違うので、今までケアできていなかった部分までしっかりと浸透していくということになるんですね。今までもすごく保湿力が高いんですけれども、さらにもう一段階、保湿が高くなったかなという感じです。 じゃあ、新しいヒアロリペアを入れただけかというと、それだけじゃないのがやっぱりロート製薬さんなんですよ。新しい成分を入れただけじゃなくて、浸透させなきゃダメじゃないですか。だから浸透する技術も今回向上させています。それが何かというと、乳酸発酵型ヒアルロン酸は実は他のヒアルロン酸の浸透を高めている、ということがわかったんです。そしてヒアルロン酸の組み合わせ方はたくさんあるんですけれども、全部同じ量を入れるとかじゃなくて、ベストバランスで入れると、かなり浸透が上がるということも2つ目にわかりました。 そしてもう1つは、やっぱりまた独自の技術「乳化」ですね。化粧品というのは水と油を混ぜなきゃいけないので、乳化というものを多少しなくちゃいけなくて、化粧水にも乳化剤が入っているんですが、独自の乳化剤を使うことによって、ヒアルロン酸の浸透を高めていくということなんですね。成分も浸透を高めるような発酵型ヒアルロン酸、組み合わせ、そしてそれを全部混ぜる時の乳化剤、それぞれをベストバランスにして浸透を高めた。だからこのお値段で、8種類もの様々なヒアルロン酸が入って、浸透の技術も独自で、これ、ちょっとかなわなくない?というくらいの感じにリニューアルしたのが、今回の肌ラボプレミアムになっています。 テクスチャーはいつも通りのこのトロッと感ですね。スッと浸透するんだけれども、前よりもちょっとベタベタ感はない感じです。肌ラボ最初のトロみはあるんですけれども、スッと入っていく感はちょっと増したのかなというふうに思います。 本当どうですか、もうテクスチャーも良くて、成分も良くて、浸透も良くて、ちょっと本当にどこまで肌ラボシリーズは進化していくんですかね。本当に素晴らしいなぁと思っちゃいます。 今までの肌ラボが好きな方も、「いやいや、そうは言っても先生、プチプラだし」と思っていた方も、ぜひ1回手に取って、この感動を分け合っていただきたいなというふうに思います。 いかがでしたか。今日は肌ラボプレミアムが8月にリニューアルしたので、それを深掘りしてみました。このチャンネルでは、こんなふうに皮膚科医が化粧品を深掘りした動画になっていますので、よかったらチャンネル登録お願いします。これもぜひ深掘りしてほしい、というものがあれば、ぜひコメント欄に書いていただけると嬉しいです。 では、また次の動画でお会いしましょう。さようなら。

Hello everyone, this is Tomomi. Today, Rohto — or rather, Hada Labo — has done something amazing again. Here it is: Hada Labo Gokujun Premium has been upgraded again this August. Speaking of the Hada Labo series, there's the white Gokujun, the blue Shirojun, the red Gokujun Aging Care, and the green one for troubled/sensitive skin, right? This yellow one is Gokujun Premium, the high-moisture type. It was also renewed back in 2020, but this time it's been upgraded again in August 2023. Even though it's a bit late to mention this, what's amazing about Hada Labo is the hyaluronic acid, right? In the previous 2020 version, it contained "7 types of hyaluronic acid." You might wonder what hyaluronic acid actually does in the first place. Rohto Pharmaceutical is originally a pharmaceutical company that makes eye drops and stomach medicines. For example, for dry eyes, when inflammation occurs in the eyes, hyaluronic acid is used to help repair them. Similarly, when gastritis occurs in the stomach, it helps with repair. In other words, they've done extensive research on "wound repair." Rohto is especially famous for eye drops, and for corneal dry eye, hyaluronic acid eye drops have long been used to repair damage to the cornea. So Rohto Pharmaceutical has been researching the idea that hyaluronic acid isn't just for protection, but also has some kind of "repair" function. Originally, the Hada Labo series was designed to pack in all this research while keeping costs low and offering an affordable price. There are various product lines, but Gokujun Premium is the one that fully brings out the amazing moisturizing and repair power of hyaluronic acid. So what kinds of hyaluronic acid were included before? There are actually many different types of hyaluronic acid. Some form a film on the skin, others are made with smaller molecular sizes so they can penetrate and repair — even though they're all called "hyaluronic acid," their roles differ slightly. There used to be 7 types included, so let's first review what role each one plays and where it works. First, there's the one that forms a film on top of the stratum corneum to prevent moisture from evaporating from within — called "3D Hyaluronic Acid." Its ingredient name is "Hyaluronic Acid Crosspolymer." This really forms a smooth, gel-like film on top of the stratum corneum, and I think it's what gives Hada Labo products that sticky, dewy texture. Another one also works on the surface of the stratum corneum, but it doesn't wash away no matter how much you cleanse or how much time passes — this is the "adsorptive hyaluronic acid." Its ingredient name is "Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hyaluronate." Of course it's in lotions, but it's also found in facial cleansers and other products, helping to lock in moisture and prevent it from being washed away. Then there's "Sodium Hyaluronate," which is commonly found near the surface of the stratum corneum. Hyaluronic acid is originally one of the moisturizing components our bodies naturally produce. It's said that 1 gram of hyaluronic acid can hold up to 6 liters of water, so it's an ingredient found in almost all skincare products. An upgraded version of sodium hyaluronate is "Super Hyaluronic Acid," also called Acetylated Hyaluronic Acid. While regular hyaluronic acid holds 6 liters of water per gram, this one doubles that capacity. So Acetylated Hyaluronic Acid has even higher moisturizing power than regular hyaluronic acid. This one also works near the surface of the stratum corneum. Next is "Nano Hyaluronic Acid," also called Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid. As the name "nano" suggests, its molecular size has been made extremely small. Hyaluronic acid actually tends to have a large molecular size, which is why, as I mentioned, the previous types worked mainly near the surface of the stratum corneum. By making the molecules smaller, this type can penetrate deeper into the stratum corneum. However, because the molecules are smaller, its water-retention capacity isn't as high. That said, I think this is compensated for by the other types of hyaluronic acid. Another thing about Nano Hyaluronic Acid is that it not only strengthens the skin's barrier function but also suppresses cellular inflammation. Isn't that amazing? When skin is exposed to UV rays, it releases various inflammatory signals, one of which is a substance called DAMPs. When this is released, it essentially tells neighboring cells, "you should get inflamed too." This penetrating-type hyaluronic acid blocks that signal. Earlier I mentioned that Rohto Pharmaceutical researches not just protection but also repair — and this is exactly that. Inflammation causes damage to cells. For example, in the cornea, this becomes corneal damage, and in the skin, this leads to aging. So how much you can suppress inflammation becomes a key point. This ingredient strengthens the barrier function, which in turn suppresses inflammation, and it's also known that this penetrating-type hyaluronic acid itself suppresses skin inflammation. Another one, even smaller than the previous types among the original 7, is the "penetrating-type hyaluronic acid." I believe this one, along with the next one I'll talk about, were the two ingredients added when Gokujun Premium was renewed in 2020. Looking at the ingredient name, it's "Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate," which might seem no different from Nano Hyaluronic Acid, but there's actually impressive research behind this one too — it's been found that when it penetrates deep into the stratum corneum, it enhances the skin's own ability to produce hyaluronic acid. So beyond just supplementing moisture, this penetrating-type hyaluronic acid is significant in that it boosts the skin's own natural power. The 7th one is "Lactobacillus-Fermented Hyaluronic Acid." This was developed by Rohto — hyaluronic acid fermented using lactic acid bacteria. What this does is strengthen the "tight junctions," the adhesive-like connections between cells. This fermented hyaluronic acid strengthens these tight junctions, which boosts barrier function — a truly wonderful ingredient. And now, this time, an 8th type of hyaluronic acid has been added: "Hyalo-Repair." Hyaluronic acid is normally a substance that dissolves easily in water. But this new Hyalo-Repair has the property of dissolving well in both water and oil — it's what's called "amphiphilic" hyaluronic acid. Regular hyaluronic acid tends to penetrate by entering the cells of the stratum corneum, but Hyalo-Repair penetrates through the intercellular lipids instead. Because it takes a different route, it can thoroughly penetrate areas that couldn't be cared for before. Even though the product was already highly moisturizing, this adds yet another level of hydration. So did they just add this new Hyalo-Repair ingredient and call it a day? Of course not — that wouldn't be Rohto Pharmaceutical. It's not enough to just add a new ingredient; you also need to make sure it actually penetrates the skin. So this time, they also improved the penetration technology. What this means is: they discovered that the fermented hyaluronic acid actually enhances the penetration of the other types of hyaluronic acid. They also found that, rather than using equal amounts of each type, combining them in the best balance dramatically improves penetration — that's the second discovery. And another point is their proprietary emulsification technology. Cosmetics need to combine water and oil, which requires some degree of emulsification — lotions contain emulsifiers too — but by using their own proprietary emulsifier, they were able to further enhance the penetration of the hyaluronic acid. So: ingredients that boost penetration like the fermented hyaluronic acid, the optimal combination of ingredients, and the emulsifier used to blend everything together — all balanced perfectly to maximize penetration. That's how, at this price point, they managed to pack in 8 different types of hyaluronic acid along with their own proprietary penetration technology — it's almost unbeatable. That's the renewed Hada Labo Premium this time. The texture is the same smooth, gel-like feel as always. It penetrates quickly, but it feels a bit less sticky than before. It still has that classic Hada Labo smoothness, but I feel like the quick-absorbing feel has increased a bit. Honestly, how amazing is this? Great texture, great ingredients, great penetration — I wonder just how far the Hada Labo series is going to keep evolving. I'm genuinely impressed.
