2020年下半期に発売されたデパコスのベストコスメを発表します！

皆さんこんにちは、皮膚科医のともに新たです。もう2020年も終わりですね。終わりということは、そうです、ベストコスメですよね。ということで今日は、2020年下半期にともに新たが選ぶベストコスメ・デパコス編をやりたいと思います。 実はね、以前ライブでもやったんですが、まとめて一つの動画にしてほしいというコメントもあったので、今日は2020年の下半期、2020年全体じゃなくて、8月以降に発売になったデパコスの中で独断で決めた、2020年下半期のベストコスメを発表したいと思います。 今年の下半期はたるみ系とか肌を引き締めるような美容液など、スキンケアラインがいっぱい出ていて、大人になるとこの辺が気になりますよね。それに対していろんな角度からアプローチしてくれるデパコスがどんどん出ていたので、選びながら「これもいい、これもいい」と思いながらも、ちゃんと選んでみました。今回は化粧水・乳液・クリーム・美容液という4つのカテゴリーの中で、これだと思うものをご紹介したいと思います。 まず化粧水編からいきましょう。もう「どうせあれでしょ」と思っている方もいると思いますが、そうです、あれです。B.Aのザ・ローションになります。これ、動画にもしましたが、私またリピートしてしまって、これで2本目です。2本目もそろそろ終わりになってきましたが、すごいところについては動画を見てください。 話題のメッセンジャーRNAですね。メッセンジャーRNAの中のリンクRNA-0094という成分が肌の張り感や再生に関与しているということを見つけて、POLAさんがそれを改善するような独自成分を配合しているんです。前の動画でも「どの美容雑誌でもベストコスメを取りますよ」と言ったら、やっぱりいろんな美容雑誌でB.Aのザ・ローションがベストコスメを取っています。私個人的にもめちゃくちゃいいんですよね。独自成分が入っているかどうかわからなくても、つけた瞬間に本当に美容液がいらないくらいに肌がみずみずしくなるというか、パンと張ったような感じがするので、手応えを感じられる化粧水だと思い、ベストコスメに選びました。 ただ、「それはいいのはわかったけど、他にないの？」と言われるだろうなと思って。B.Aは正直お高いじゃないですか。ベストコスメ1位なのはわかるんだけれども、デパコスの中でもそこまで高くはないけれど良いものとして選ばせていただいたのがこちらです。 カウブランドのオンスキンエッセンスウォーターになります。面白いのが、赤ちゃんって生まれてきた時に胎脂と呼ばれる、皮膚を守る油に包まれているんですよ。赤ちゃんは羊水というお水の中にいるでしょ？だから水の中にいると皮膚がふやけないように、油の膜で覆われて出てきていて、外界に出ても皮膚が急激に乾燥しないようになっているんですね。この胎脂に注目して、それと同じようなオイルを閉じ込めた化粧水になるんです。肌のバリア機能を改善させるようなオイル系成分がしっかり入っているので、乾燥肌の方やバリア機能が低下して敏感肌に傾きそうな方にはとてもおすすめな化粧水です。 胎脂に注目したというのが私の中ではすごいと思いましたし、カウブランド自体もオイル系の研究をとても進めています。B.Aとは方向性が違いますが、別のアプローチで、水をしっかり入れて乾燥させない、肌に一番大事なバリア機能に着目しているところが、皮膚科医的にはとても良いと思った化粧水です。 続いては美容液部門になります。美容液はめちゃくちゃ悩んだので、一つや二つには絞れませんでした。申し訳ありませんが、今回美容液は3つにしました。こちらの3点を選びました。 ①パルファン・クリスチャン・ディオールのプレステージ マイクロ ユイル ドゥ ローズ セラム、②エスティ ローダーのアドバンス ナイト リペア SMR コンプレックス、③一宝光生のセラムヴェール、になります。 まずディオールですが、これはまた別で動画にしたいと思っているんですが、ディオールには2大巨頭の美容液があり、今回私が選んだのはプレステージの方です。このプレステージはどういう考え方をベースにしているかというと、「肌の老化は炎症から起こる」ということです。これは私たち皮膚科医も「そうそう、その通り！」と思うところで、だから私もいつも「日焼けしない、乾燥しない、摩擦をしない」と言っているじゃないですか。でもそれでもどうしても起こってしまう、肉眼では見えないような小さな炎症をどう食い止めるかというアプローチを考えているのがこのプレステージです。 ディオールといえばディオールガーデンで育てられているグランヴィル ローズというディオール独自のバラがあります。このバラのエキスから抗炎症作用の成分を見つけ、肌に小さな炎症が起こるのを食い止めて先回りしていくというものです。このつぶつぶにグランヴィル ローズのエキスが一つ一つ入っていてめちゃくちゃ贅沢ですし、香りもバラの癒しがあります。皮膚科医的にも納得できる「小さな炎症を抑える」という着目点と、見た目のゴージャスさと最先端の研究が相まっているという意味で、ザ・デパコスというアイテムかなと思って選びました。 続いてはこちらです。アドバンス ナイト リペアはエスティ ローダーさんを代表する美容液ですが、これが4回目のリニューアルで今回5代目になります。カリフォルニア大学のゲノム解析研究者とタッグを組んでいて、B.Aも実はメッセンジャーRNAという遺伝子解析から生まれた化粧水ですが、この5代目アドバンス ナイト リペアも同じような研究をしています。B.Aがメッセンジャー RNA の中のリンクRNA-0094にフォーカスしているのに対し、こちらはメッセンジャーRNAの中でも特に小さいマイクロRNA、マイクロRNA-146aというものにフォーカスを当てています。 この146aは年齢とともに減っていき、肌のターンオーバーや生まれ変わりを制御しているメッセンジャーRNAだということを突き止めて、年齢とともに低下しないようにそれを活性化する独自成分を配合しているのがこのアドバンス ナイト リペアです。もともとアドバンス ナイト リペアは、夜間に皮膚の修復が起こるということで時計遺伝子に注目し、時計遺伝子を活性化させるものを配合していたりと、ずっと昔から遺伝子の研究をしていて、今回はマイクロRNAというものにフォーカスしているんですね。夜間修復の成分に加え、年齢とともに低下するマイクロRNAにもフォーカスしているので、夜これを塗って寝ると肌の修復が促されるような感じがして、次の日の朝のパーっとした張り感はさすがエスティ ローダーさんだなと思います。先端技術が搭載された、ザ・デパコスというものになります。 3つ目はちょっと毛色が違いますが、ラグジュアリー感というよりは、ザ・日本の研究者がコツコツ作り上げた感のあるこちら、一宝光生のセラムヴェールです。ライスパワー No.11という成分が入っていて、これは光生独自の成分ですが、バリア機能を正常化して潤いをアップさせてくれるものです。パッケージには「水分保持能力を改善する」と書いてあります。「改善」という表現を使ってよいというお墨付きをもらった成分がこのライスパワー No.11で、これがセラミドを作り出してくれます。セラミドは水分を閉じ込めておくのにナンバー1の成分ですよね。もともとセラミドを補うのではなく、体の中でのセラミド産生をアップさせるというライスパワー No.11が配合されているので、本当に乾燥してしまう方、内側から水分を補いたいという方にぴったりです。 ちなみに、アットコスメのベストコスメのゲストとして呼ばれたイベントで、EXITの兼近大樹さんもこれを愛用していると言っていて、美容男子の兼近さんも使っているということで、今回のベストコスメにもチョイスしてみました。 続いては乳液部門に行きたいと思います。乳液部門はこの2つをチョイスしました。IPSAのMEとINFINITY プレステジアのエマルジョンになります。 こちらのMEは、以前「ちゃんと息してますか」という動画で解説していて、細胞内への酸素の取り込みを促すことで細胞の活性化が上がる、酸素の取り込みには個人差があり、取り込みが低い人は細胞の活性が低いということを見つけ出したIPSAさんが、細胞間に酸素を取り込めるような成分をアップさせる独自成分を配合したものです。もともとMEは乳液のテクスチャーもめちゃくちゃ良いので、そこに独自成分が入っているということで、私的にはいいかなと思い選びました。 INFINITYのプレステジアについては、サーマクールやHIFUの観点からご紹介した動画も上げていますのでそちらもご覧ください。たるみの原因である筋膜にフォーカスを置き、筋膜の働きが固定化しないように独自成分を配合しているのがこのINFINITYでしたよね。乳液は肌自体がふっくらするようなテクスチャーということもあって、独自成分の恩恵を受けつつ肌をなめらかにもしてくれるんです。乳液の中では群を抜いていたなと思いますので、こちらをチョイスしてみました。 最後はクリーム部門になります。これもザ・デパコスというすごいものを2つ選びました。シャネルのル リフト クレーム ニュイと、クレ・ド・ポー ボーテのクレームボリューミザントSになります。 どちらもリフトアップ系なんですが、クレ・ド・ポーの方は、げっそりした方にふっくら感を与えるものです。年齢とともに真皮の厚みが減少してしまう、それはIII型コラーゲンが減り毛細血管が減ることによるということを見つけ出して、そこにアプローチするような独自成分を配合しています。この研究は、私が以前お話しした「化粧品のオリンピック」と呼ばれるIFSCC大会でも最優秀賞を取った考え方が搭載されているのがこのクレームボリューミザントSです。研究者がずっと研究を続けて、化粧品のオリンピックで金メダルを取った研究技術が搭載されているものになります。マスクをしているとフェイスラインが気になりますが、この辺が弛んできた方にはこちらのクリームを使っていただくといいかなと思います。さすが資生堂さんという感じだと思ったクリームでした。 そしてもう一方の同じリフトアップ系ですが、シャネルのルリフト クレーム ニュイはどちらかというと小顔というか、引き締め系のものになります。肌は日中外的なストレスをどんどん浴びますが、それを修復するのは夜で、夜に細胞のターンオーバーが促されます。しかし年齢とともに肌はストレスに過敏になっていきます。その過敏になりすぎたものを鎮静化して、肌の生まれ変わりを促していきましょうという考え方です。 シャネルといえばカメリアがありますよね。このカメリアから抽出したエキスと茶葉エキスというオリジナルの成分を配合して、肌のストレスを軽減させ、寝ている間に皮膚の再生を促してくれるクリームなので、朝起きた時にゆっくり休んだような肌を作ってくれます。日中受けたストレスを修復しなければ、コラーゲンやエラスチンが減りたるんできてしまうのを抑える効果も期待できるという意味で、リフトしてくれるクリームとしても効果が期待できると思います。 ふっくら張りを持たせるものと、修復を促してボリュームを引き締めていくものと、相反するようですが、マスクをしている中でフェイスラインが気になる方にはどちらも捨てがたいクリームかなと思って今回チョイスしてみました。 やっぱりデパコスって楽しいですよね。独自成分もたくさん入っていて、最新の研究が素敵な容器に詰まっている。もちろんお値段はそれなりにしますが、使っている時に「いい商品を使っているな」という高揚感もありますので、それがデパコスの醍醐味かなと思います。 Hello everyone, I'm Arata Tomori, an internal medicine and dermatologist. 2020 is already coming to an end, and that means it's time for Best Cosmetics! Today I'd like to present my Best Department Store Cosmetics (depacosu) picks for the second half of 2020. I previously covered this in a live stream, but since many of you asked me to compile everything into one video, today I'll be announcing my personal picks for the best depacosu released from August 2020 onwards — not the full year, just the second half. The second half of this year saw a flood of skincare lines targeting sagging skin and firming serums — things that start to matter more as we get older. So many brands came out with new approaches that I really struggled to narrow things down. I've organized my picks into four categories: toner, emulsion, cream, and serum. **Toner Category** You probably already know what I'm going to say — yes, it's that one. It's B.A The Lotion by POLA. I've made a video about it before, and I've already repurchased it — this is my second bottle, which is almost finished. Please watch that video for the full breakdown. In short, it features a technology based on messenger RNA — specifically a molecule called lncRNA-0094, which POLA discovered is involved in skin firmness and regeneration. They developed a proprietary ingredient to improve this. I predicted in my earlier video that this would win best-in-class across beauty magazines, and sure enough, it has swept the awards. Personally, I love it too. Even if you don't know what's going on at the molecular level, you feel it immediately — your skin feels so plump and hydrated that you almost don't need a serum. That tangible result is why I'm choosing it as my top pick. That said, I know some of you will say, "Okay, we know B.A is great, but it's expensive — is there anything else?" So I've also selected a second option. That's Kose Cosmeport's On Skin Essence Water. What's interesting about this product is that it's inspired by vernix caseosa — the waxy coating that covers a newborn baby's skin. Because babies are surrounded by amniotic fluid in the womb, their skin could potentially get waterlogged; the vernix acts as a protective oil barrier. After birth, it also helps prevent the skin from drying out too quickly in the outside world. This product replicates that oil-based protective layer in a toner formula, making it great for people with dry or sensitized skin who need barrier function support. As a dermatologist, I find the concept of focusing on barrier function really compelling. It takes a completely different approach from B.A, but it's an excellent toner in its own right. **Serum Category** I struggled so much with serums that I couldn't narrow it down to just one or two — I ended up choosing three. Here they are: ① Parfums Christian Dior Prestige Le Micro-Huile de Rose Advanced Serum ② Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair SMR Complex ③ Ichihachi Kose Serum Veil For the Dior Prestige serum, I plan to do a dedicated video, but the core concept is this: skin aging begins with inflammation. As a dermatologist, I completely agree — that's exactly why I always say to avoid sun exposure, dryness, and friction. But even with the best prevention, tiny invisible bouts of inflammation still occur. The Prestige line is all about intercepting those micro-inflammations before they accumulate. Dior grows its own Granville Rose in the Dior Gardens, and they've extracted anti-inflammatory compounds from it. Each little bead in this serum contains that rose extract — incredibly luxurious, and the scent is divine. The science is sound by dermatological standards, and the combination of cutting-edge research and opulent aesthetics is exactly what I mean when I say "quintessential depacosu." Next is Estée Lauder's Advanced Night Repair — now in its 5th generation. They've partnered with genomics researchers at the University of California for this one. While B.A focuses on lncRNA-0094 within messenger RNA, Advanced Night Repair zeroes in on an even smaller molecule: microRNA-146a. This microRNA declines with age and is responsible for regulating skin cell turnover and renewal. Estée Lauder developed a proprietary ingredient to activate and sustain microRNA-146a levels as we age. Advanced Night Repair has always been rooted in genetic research — its earlier versions targeted circadian clock genes to support nighttime skin repair. Now they've added microRNA science on top of that. When I use it at night, I really do feel like my skin is regenerating, and I wake up to noticeably firmer, more radiant skin. Another prime example of high-end scientific research in a depacosu product. The third pick is a bit different in character — less about luxury, more about the quiet persistence of Japanese cosmetic research. It's Ichihachi Kose's Serum Veil, featuring Rice Power Extract No. 11. This is a proprietary ingredient that normalizes barrier function and improves moisture retention. Notably, the packaging is allowed to claim it "improves" the skin's water-holding capacity — a claim that requires official backing in Japan. Rice Power No. 11 works by boosting the skin's own ceramide production rather than just supplementing ceramide from the outside. Since ceramides are the gold standard for locking in moisture, this is great for people who are truly dry and want to hydrate from within. I also heard at an @cosme Best Cosmetics event that KANECHI Daiki of the comedy duo EXIT uses and loves this product — so if even a dedicated male beauty enthusiast endorses it, it definitely earns a spot on my list. **Emulsion Category** For emulsions, I've chosen two: IPSA ME and INFINITY Prestigia Emulsion. IPSA ME was featured in my video titled "Are You Breathing Properly?" — it works by promoting oxygen uptake into skin cells, which enhances cellular activity. IPSA found that there is individual variation in how efficiently cells take in oxygen, and that people with lower uptake have less active cells. ME contains a proprietary ingredient to improve this. The texture alone is fantastic, and the added benefit of that unique ingredient makes it a standout choice. INFINITY Prestigia is one I covered in a video comparing it to Thermage and HIFU treatments. It targets the fascia — connective tissue — as a cause of sagging, and uses a proprietary ingredient to prevent the fascia from becoming rigid and fixed. The emulsion specifically gives the skin a plump, smooth texture while delivering those active benefits. Among emulsions, this one really stood out to me. **Cream Category** Finally, the cream category. I chose two iconic depacosu creams after a lot of deliberation: Chanel Le Lift Crème Nuit and Clé de Peau Beauté Crème Volumisante S. Both are lifting creams, but they approach the problem differently. The Clé de Peau cream addresses volume loss — that gaunt, sunken look that can come with age. Research has shown that the dermis thins over time due to a decline in type III collagen and capillaries. This cream targets exactly that. In fact, the science behind it was recognized with the top prize at the IFSCC — the international cosmetics research conference sometimes called the "Olympics of cosmetics." It's a world-class research achievement packed into a jar, and it's ideal for anyone noticing that their face is losing its fullness, especially around the cheeks and jawline — an area that tends to sag when you're wearing a mask all day. The Chanel Le Lift Crème Nuit, on the other hand, is more about firmness and contour. Skin is exposed to stress throughout the day, and that stress is repaired at night during cellular turnover. However, as we age, the skin becomes increasingly sensitive to oxidative and environmental stressors, meaning daily damage accumulates faster than it can be repaired. This cream uses Chanel's signature Camellia extract and a proprietary tea leaf extract to calm that heightened reactivity and accelerate nighttime skin renewal. The result is that you wake up with skin that feels like it's had a proper night's recovery — and by preventing the daily buildup of collagen-degrading stress, it also helps fight long-term sagging and loss of elasticity. These two creams offer almost opposite solutions — one restores volume, the other firms and lifts — but with masks still a daily reality, both address real concerns. I couldn't pick just one. Depacosu is really such a joy to explore. These products pack cutting-edge research into beautiful packaging, and yes, they come with a price tag to match — but there's also a real sense of pleasure and confidence that comes from using something you believe in.
