皆さんこんにちは、トモリアラタです。今日はですね、ちょっとこれすごいなと思う化粧水を見つけたので、皆さんにご紹介したいと思います。最初にこれ何、というのを言っておこうと思うので、それがこちらです。オルビス ブライトローションです。 このローション、何がすごいって、まずブライトローションと書いてある通り、美白系の、肌に透明感を出しますよというようなローションなんですけれども、まず一つは、今まで私たちがブライトローションとか美白系の化粧品を使う時って、点で、というかこういうところのシミとかが気になるっていうような感じで考えてたと思うんです。これは肌全体の透明感をアップさせるっていうような考え方なんですね。 というのも、そもそもシミって、例えば紫外線とか摩擦とかの刺激が入って、メラノサイトが活性化してメラニン色素ができて、メラニン色素を肌の細胞に渡しちゃって、そこが蓄積されてシミとかくすみが出てくるんですけれども、それでこのメラノサイトだけが活性化されて、それがどんどん上に上がっていくという感じなんです。 今回オルビスさんが研究した結果、例えばこのメラノサイト自体が、メラニン色素を肌細胞に渡して、その肌細胞が代謝されて上に行くだけじゃなくて、このメラノサイト自体も、隣やその隣に刺激を与えることによって、いつもだったらこのメラノサイトが肌細胞にメラニン色素を受け渡して、それが過剰になって、この色がついた肌細胞というのがうまく代謝されなくて、それがシミやくすみになるよということを今までもよくお話ししたと思うんですが、今回はなんとその肌細胞に受け渡すだけじゃなくて、メラノサイト自体も実はストレスが加わることによって、その横のメラノサイトにも刺激を与えて、「もう俺は無理、他のメラノサイト君もメラニン色素を出してよ」っていう信号を送っているんだ、ということを見つけたんですね。 この化粧水にはすごいところが3つあります。1つはシミやくすみに対しての新知見。もう一つはビタミンCを配合していること、特にビタミンCの処理の仕方、浸透しやすい技術。3つ目はお値段です。これがなんとこの量で1,800円なんです。すごくないですか？2,000円以下ですよ。これ、めちゃめちゃすごいと思います。 それを一つずつ解説していこうと思います。 シミというのは、例えば紫外線が当たったり摩擦によって、メラノサイトというメラニン色素を作る細胞が活性化されて、メラニン色素を作り肌細胞を守ろうとして、肌細胞にメラニン色素を渡すんですよ。そのメラニン色素を渡しすぎてしまい、通常だったら皮膚のターンオーバーでいなくなるはずが、そのメラノサイトがずっと活性化し続けて、メラニンの受け渡しをずっと行うことによって、どんなに代謝されても、その部分にずっと色がついてしまうというのがシミなんですね。 通常はこのメラノサイトがメラニン色素を肌細胞に受け渡すことがポイントになるので、この受け渡しをなくしたり、メラノサイトに刺激を与えないようにすることを考えるというのが、今までの美白やブライトニング化粧品の考え方だったんですけれども、このオルビスの新しいブライトローションはどういう考え方かというと、実はメラノサイト自体も、また近くのメラノサイトに刺激を送っていると。なので、その一部分だけじゃなくて、シミの近くのメラノサイトというのは、ずっとそこに刺激が送られて、シミが濃いところの近くもどんどんメラノサイトが活性化していくことによって、くすみが起こってくるんだよ、ということを発見したんですね。 これはどういうことかというと、メラノサイトに例えば紫外線が照射されると、メラノサイトが活性化するときにカルシウムチャンネルというものが活性化されて、カルシウムイオンが放出される。これによって近くのメラノサイトがこれを受け取ることで、「メラニンを作らなきゃ」という指令だと勘違いしちゃうらしいんですね。もちろんその一部分のメラノサイトが活性化しているところはすごくシミができるし、それ以外の近くにも「僕はここですごくいっぱいシミを作るけれども、その周りの君たちも活性化してメラニンを作ってくれよ」みたいな、余計な指令がいくということがわかっているんですよ。まあ迷惑というか。 でも思い当たるのは、確かにシミがある部分の周りって、なんとなくくすんでいたりして、シミがある以外の場所が透明感があるというのは、なかなか現実的にもあまりないことだなと思うので、それがきちっと肌の内部で起こっているんだと言われると、改めて納得しますよね。だからやっぱりシミがある場所だけじゃなくて、全体的にケアをしなきゃいけないんだなというふうに思ったんですよ。 じゃあどういうふうに処理をしていくかということで、やっぱりみんな大好きビタミンCなんですね。この化粧水には有効成分として、L-アスコルビン酸グルコシドというものが入っています。あとはプリティル酸ジカリウムといって、炎症を抑える系の成分ですね。 でもこれだと今までのビタミンCのローションと何が違うの、っていう感じじゃないですか。それが2つ目のこのローションのすごいところなんですね。実はこれ、初めて高圧処理をしたビタミンCが配合されています。 高圧処理って何？という声が聞こえてきそうなんですが、ビタミンCというのはピュアビタミンCと、あとはビタミンCの誘導体というものに分かれています。ピュアビタミンCというのは即効性もあるし肌にも入っていきやすいんだけど、壊れやすかったりするんですね。なのでもっとそれを壊れにくくして肌にしっかり入れていこうとするのがビタミンCの誘導体なんですが、誘導体だけだと肌に入っていくときにいろんな条件が必要だったりして、やっぱり表面の方にしか行かなかったりということもあるんですが、今回はそのビタミンC誘導体をより高圧処理をかけることによって分子量を細かくする。それだけじゃなくて、肌の奥に行かせるためには乳化剤と一緒に行かせなきゃいけないんですね。なのでこの乳化剤も一緒に高圧処理をしていくという方法を取って、より肌の内部にビタミンCを効かせるということをしているのが、このオルビスブライトローションになります。 なのでやっぱりビタミンCというものが入ってくるのはマストなんだけれども、それをよりどういうふうに肌に効かせるか、肌に浸透させるかという技術は、本当に素晴らしいなと思いました。有効成分にはL-アスコルビン酸グルコシドだけ入っているんですが、それを高圧処理しているので、他のL-アスコルビン酸グルコシドとはまたちょっと違うのかなと思います。多分この水素添加大豆リン脂質というものが、この一緒に高圧処理をしている乳化剤だと思うんですよね。こういった特殊な乳化剤と一緒に高圧処理をかけることによって、肌の奥の方まで行かせるっていうのは、ビタミンC好きの私としては素晴らしい技術なんじゃないかなと思います。 その他にもサポート成分として、甘草エキスだったりとか、あとはパウダルコ樹皮エキスといって、これも肌に透明感を与えるような成分になるので、秘伝のタレといっても過言ではないですよね。ビタミンCっていうもともとすごくポピュラーで、いろんなメーカーさんが使っているんだけど、これをまたさらに処理をすることによって活かせる。プラスアルファ、自分たちの秘伝のタレであるブライトニング処方も入れていって、それを聞くと結構私の中では4,500円くらいするのかなと思ったら、なんとこれ1,800円、税込み1,900円くらいなのかな。なので2,000円以下でこれが買えるっていうのが、オルビスさんちょっと値段間違えたんじゃないかなと正直思う素晴らしい化粧水だなと思いました。 今年はオルビスさんだけじゃなくて、その他にも2月後半とか3月には、またビタミンCの面白い製品がどんどん実は出てくるんですね。その一番バッターみたいな感じで、このオルビスのブライトローションがまず発売されているので、今年はこのビタミンCがどんどん進化したものを皆さんにももっともっとご紹介できればなと思っています。 なので、まず手始めというか、これは本当にシミの概念だったり出来方だったりという知見もそうだし、あとビタミンCをどう入れていくかという新技術、プラスアルファお値段が安いということも、本当に使いやすい一つなんじゃないかなと思うので、ちょっとビタミンC使っていて手応えあるんだけどもうちょっとランクアップさせたい、っていうような人は、このオルビスのブライトローションを試してみるのも手かなと思います。 いかがでしたか？今日はねビタミンCのことだったから熱く語っちゃったんですけれども、このチャンネルではこのように美容や健康について皆さんにわかりやすく解説してますし、新発売の商品も深掘りしてたりもしますので、この商品を取り上げてほしいよなんていうものがあったら、ぜひぜひコメント欄に書いていただけると嬉しいです。チャンネル登録もぜひよろしくお願いします。ではまた次の動画でお会いしましょう。さようなら。

Hello everyone, this is Arata Tomori. Today I found a lotion that I think is really amazing, so I'd like to introduce it to you. Let me first tell you what it is—here it is: the ORBIS Bright Lotion. What's so amazing about this lotion is that, as the name suggests, it's a whitening-type lotion meant to give your skin transparency. Until now, when we used bright lotions or whitening cosmetics, I think we tended to think of it as a 'spot' treatment—focusing on concerns like specific dark spots. But this product is based on the idea of boosting the transparency of the entire skin. The reason is that dark spots typically form like this: stimuli such as UV rays or friction activate melanocytes, which then produce melanin pigment. This melanin is passed on to skin cells, accumulates there, and results in spots or dullness. Until now, we thought only the activated melanocyte itself would keep sending melanin upward through the skin cells. However, as a result of ORBIS's research, they found that when a melanocyte passes melanin to skin cells and those cells rise through turnover, the melanocyte itself also sends stimulating signals to neighboring melanocytes. Normally, we've talked about how a melanocyte passes melanin pigment to skin cells, and when this becomes excessive, the pigmented skin cells fail to be properly metabolized, resulting in spots or dullness. But this time, they discovered that beyond just passing pigment to skin cells, the melanocyte itself—when under stress—also sends signals to neighboring melanocytes, essentially saying, "I can't handle this anymore, you other melanocytes need to produce melanin too!" There are three amazing things about this lotion. First is this new insight into spots and dullness. Second is that it contains vitamin C—specifically, the way the vitamin C is processed and its penetration technology. Third is the price. This amount costs just 1,800 yen. Isn't that incredible? Under 2,000 yen. I think that's truly amazing. Let me explain each point one by one. Dark spots form like this: when UV rays hit the skin or friction occurs, melanocytes—the cells that produce melanin—become activated, produce melanin to protect skin cells, and pass the pigment to those cells. When too much pigment is passed on, normally it would disappear through skin turnover, but if the melanocyte keeps being activated and continues passing melanin, the affected area remains pigmented no matter how much metabolism occurs—that's what causes a dark spot. Normally, the key point is that melanocytes pass melanin pigment to skin cells, so conventional whitening or brightening cosmetics have focused on stopping this transfer or preventing stimulation of the melanocytes. But ORBIS's new Bright Lotion takes a different approach: they discovered that melanocytes themselves send stimulating signals to nearby melanocytes as well. So it's not just the localized area—melanocytes near a dark spot keep receiving these signals, and as the melanocytes near a strong spot become increasingly activated, dullness occurs in the surrounding area too. What's actually happening is this: when melanocytes are exposed to UV rays, for example, calcium channels become activated as the melanocyte itself gets activated, releasing calcium ions. When nearby melanocytes receive these ions, they apparently misinterpret it as a command to "produce melanin." Of course, the melanocyte in the directly stimulated area produces a lot of pigment, creating a strong spot, but it seems an unnecessary signal is also sent to surrounding melanocytes, essentially saying, "I'm making a ton of pigment here, but you guys around me should get activated and make melanin too." It's a bit of a nuisance, really. But it does ring true—areas around a dark spot do tend to look somewhat dull, and it's rare in reality to have a spot with perfectly clear, radiant skin immediately surrounding it. When you're told this is actually happening inside the skin, it makes sense all over again. So I realized that we need to care not just for the spot itself, but for the skin as a whole. Now, how do they address this? Of course, it's everyone's favorite—vitamin C. This lotion contains L-ascorbic acid glucoside as an active ingredient, along with dipotassium glycyrrhizate, which helps suppress inflammation. But you might wonder, how is this different from other vitamin C lotions? That's where the second amazing point comes in. This is actually the first product to contain vitamin C that has been processed using high-pressure treatment. You might be wondering what high-pressure treatment even means. Vitamin C is generally divided into two types: pure vitamin C and vitamin C derivatives. Pure vitamin C works quickly and penetrates the skin easily, but it tends to break down easily. So vitamin C derivatives were developed to make it more stable and better able to penetrate the skin. However, derivatives alone require various conditions to penetrate the skin properly, and often only reach the surface layer. This time, by applying high-pressure treatment to the vitamin C derivative, they were able to reduce its molecular size. But that's not all—in order to get it deep into the skin, it needs to travel together with an emulsifier. So they also applied high-pressure treatment to the emulsifier alongside the vitamin C, allowing the vitamin C to work more effectively deep within the skin. That's the technology behind this ORBIS Bright Lotion. So while including vitamin C itself is a must, the technology behind how effectively it works and penetrates the skin is truly impressive. The only active ingredient listed is L-ascorbic acid glucoside, but since it has been high-pressure treated, I think it's a bit different from ordinary L-ascorbic acid glucoside. I believe this hydrogenated soy phospholipid is likely the emulsifier that was high-pressure treated along with it. Using this kind of special emulsifier together with high-pressure processing to deliver the ingredient deep into the skin is, as someone who loves vitamin C, a truly wonderful technology. In addition, it contains supporting ingredients like licorice root extract and pau d'arco bark extract, which also help give the skin transparency—so you could say this is like a secret sauce recipe. Vitamin C itself is extremely common and used by many manufacturers, but by further processing it and adding their own proprietary brightening formula, I honestly expected this to cost around 4,500 yen. But it's actually just 1,800 yen—about 1,900 yen with tax. The fact that you can get this for under 2,000 yen makes me honestly think ORBIS might have priced this wrong—it's such a wonderful lotion. This year, not just ORBIS, but other brands are also releasing interesting vitamin C products around late February or March. This ORBIS Bright Lotion is like the leadoff batter, being released first, so I hope to introduce more and more evolved vitamin C products to you all throughout the year.
