【緊急発表】私も大興奮した、世界が驚いた資生堂の美容液を紹介します

みなさん、こんにちは。友利新です。今日はですね、資生堂さんがまたすごい発見をしたというお話になります。 最近の化粧品というのは新しい発見に基づいて対応する成分を入れるということが当たり前になってきているんですけれども、今回は世界でも結構驚きの発見をして、それを化粧品に落とし込んでいるということになるんですが、まず化粧品は何かというと、このクレ・ド・ポー ボーテのルセラムというシリーズになります。 このルセラムシリーズ、そもそも肌には知性があって、肌はいろんなものを選別していますよ、だからその知性を上げていけば肌のバリア機能が整っていったりとか、それによって老化を止めていきましょうというようなコンセプトなんですけれども、なんとなく漠然とするじゃないですか。確かに肌ってなんか敏感になったりとか、いろんなものをブロックしたりとか、知性ありそうな感じなんだけど、まあまあざっくりしてるなっていうイメージだったんですけど、本当に肌というのはいろんな良い刺激・悪い刺激を選別しているということを見つけたのが、今回の大発見になっています。 そしてそれだけかと思ったら、もう一つ世界的にもびっくりする発見をしているので、それも詳しくお伝えしたいと思いますので、最後までご覧ください。 では早速、今回の発見が何かというと、肌にOBP（オドラント・バインディング・プロテイン、臭い物質結合タンパク質）というタンパク質が存在していたということが今回わかったんですね。 OBPって何ですかという感じですよね。実はこれは臭い物質結合タンパクと呼ばれていて、英語ではオドラント・バインディング・プロテインと言うんですね。臭いと臭いを結合させるようなイメージで、どこで発見されていたかというと鼻なんですよ。鼻粘膜の中にあるタンパク質で、これが鼻粘膜に刺激になるような匂いなどを選別して、鼻の粘膜に入れないようにしているというのは昔から分かっていたんですね。 実はこの匂い結合タンパクが肌にもあるということが、今回の資生堂の研究でわかりました。OBPというのは中が筒状になっているものなんですよね。これが肌の上にあることで、いらない刺激がくっつくじゃないですか。そうするとこの筒の中に入れて、肌の中に入れないようにブロックするんですね。それがターンオーバーで排除されるので、良いものは土管を通していくんですけれども、いらないものはこの土管みたいな筒状のものに入れておいて排除して出していくというものになります。 じゃあこれがあるのとないのとで何が肌によって違うかというと、このOBPが多いと表皮に厚みがあるということがわかったんですね。わかりやすく言うと、まずバリア機能が高まる。そうすることによって肌が揺らがなくなるということと、表皮の厚みがあるということは、自分の中で細胞間脂質だったりヒアルロン酸をしっかり作っているということなので、肌がみずみずしい状態であるということになるんですね。内側から艶感が出ているようなお肌になるということがわかっています。 OBPがある人とない人だと、ある人の方が肌の艶感ということと、肌が揺らがないということになるんですね。ただ残念なことに、OBPというのは年をとっていくとやっぱり減っていく。だからこそ表皮の厚みも少なくなって、いつものお手入れをしているのになんか艶感がなかったりとか、肌が揺らいでしまったりということになってしまう。だからこそこのOBP、大事だよということがわかったんですよ。 そこまでわかったら、もちろんそうですよね、OBPを増やしていけば表皮の厚みが保たれるということになるので、艶感がある、そして揺るがないお肌になるということですよ。マドンナリリー花弁エキスというものが、このOBPの発現を増やすということがわかりました。それを入れることによってOBPの発現を増やすことができるので、年がいってもこのOBPが低下しないようにするということなんですよ。 あとすごく面白いのは、このOBP、年がいくと減る傾向にあるんですけれども、実は若い人の中でもこのOBPが低下してしまっている人が一定数いらっしゃるんですね。土台を整えたいという人は、このOBPを保つようなケアをしていかなくちゃいけないなって思うんですね。 クレ・ド・ポーというのは資生堂の高級ラインじゃないですか。今回のOBPもすごいんですけれども、今までの一つ前のものには、基底膜のラミニン511を増やすことによって表皮の幹細胞の数を増やしていきますというようなケルプエキスというようなものも入っていたんですね。今までのクレ・ド・ポーは幹細胞の研究ということをベースにしたりもしていました。今回幹細胞の研究をずっとしているからこそ、またもう一つの大発見があったんです。 皆さん、幹細胞ってどんな細胞だと思います？幹細胞というのは何にでも生み出す細胞だから、減ることはあっても幹細胞自体は老化をしないものだというふうにほぼ皆さん思っていたし、研究者の皆さんもみんな思っていたんです。実は表皮の幹細胞も老化するということが今回の研究でわかったんです。 これはCBRCと言って、資生堂とハーバード大学とマサチューセッツ総合病院の共同研究の施設があるんですが、そこで見つけられた発見なんですけれども、表皮の幹細胞というものにはYSプロテインというものがあって、このYSプロテインが変性してしまうと表皮の幹細胞が老化していって、なので新しく生まれていく細胞がおかしくなっていくということがわかったんです。 それだけじゃなくて、これは元の幹細胞とは違う働きをして細胞を生み出すんじゃなくて、周りの細胞にも悪影響を与えてしまうということなんですよ。なので今まで幹細胞を生み出すということばっかりやっていて、数もたくさんあるなって思っていたけれども、YSタンパクが変性しているような幹細胞だったとしたら、良い細胞を作れなかったっていう過渡なんですよ。なので数じゃなくて、やっぱり質にこだわらないと良い細胞は生まれないということの大発見なんですね。今回老化をするよということを見つけたのも、本当にすごいことだなぁと思います。 このYSタンパクの変性を抑えるという成分を見つけているのが、また研究のすごいところで、レモンアイアンウッドエキスというものになります。レモンアイアンウッドエキスというのが、YSタンパクの変性を抑えることによって、表皮の幹細胞が老化することを抑えてくれる。なのできちっと細胞が生まれて、老化をしにくいお肌になるということですよ。すごいですよね。なので研究のベースが入っているのが、今回のクレ・ド・ポーのルセラムになります。 これだけでもすごいんですけれども、成分って浸透していかなければいけないじゃないですか。この浸透にもまたすごいことが入っています。肌荒れをしているところとかに早くこの製剤が行った方がいいというところを考えたんだと思うんですが、肌荒れしている場所というのはプラスの電荷に傾いているんですね。プラスのところにしっかりと行くように、マイナスの電荷があるような基剤を入れることによって、プラスとマイナスってちゃんと磁石の要領でくっつくわけじゃないですか。そこにスッと行くような設計が取られているんですよ。これ自体もめっちゃすごいなぁと思うので、サラッと入れてくるあたりが、精度の最高峰のクレ・ド・ポーなんだなぁというふうに思います。 なのでまとめるとですね、肌に刺激になるようなものを選別しているOBPを増やして、表皮の幹細胞の老化を抑えて、全体的に肌自体の衰えを抑えていくというような美容液になっています。お値段はあんまり可愛くはないんですけれども、どういったメカニズムで肌を綺麗にするかというのがなかなか分からない方もいらっしゃったのかなと思うので、今回はちょっと深掘りをしてみました。 今回はですね、私自身もびっくりするような発見が入っているものなので、久しぶりにちょっと興奮して皆さんにお伝えしてみました。やっぱり日本の研究者さんってすごいなぁというふうに今回も思いました。 ということで今日も最後まで見ていただいて、ありがとうございました。月額90円にはなりますけれど、メンバーシップというのは始めています。今日みたいにすごい化粧品が発売になったよみたいなことの先出しだったりとか、普通の動画では言えないようなお話だったりとかを、メンバー限定でお話をしています。毎週水曜日にメンバー限定のYouTubeライブをしているんですが、そのライブに参加できないよという方もですね、メンバー限定のアーカイブが残っておりますので、月額90円にはなりますけれども、メンバーシップ入っていただけると嬉しいです。また次の動画でお会いしましょう。さようなら。by H.

Hello everyone, this is Tomori Ara. Today I want to talk about another amazing discovery from Shiseido. It's become common for modern cosmetics to incorporate ingredients based on new scientific discoveries, and this time Shiseido has made a discovery that's quite surprising even on a global scale, and translated it into a cosmetic product. The product in question is the Le Serum series from Clé de Peau Beauté. The concept behind this Le Serum series is that the skin has "intelligence" — it selects and sorts various things — and by enhancing that intelligence, the skin's barrier function improves, which in turn helps stop aging. This might sound a bit vague, right? Sure, skin can become sensitive, block certain things, and seem to have some kind of intelligence, but it felt like a rather rough concept. However, this time they actually discovered that the skin truly distinguishes between good and bad stimuli — and that is this major discovery. And if you thought that was all, there's actually another world-surprising discovery, so I want to share that in detail too. Please watch until the end. So, what exactly was discovered this time? It was found that a protein called OBP (Odorant Binding Protein) exists in the skin. You might wonder, "What is OBP?" Actually, it's called an odor-binding protein, and in English it's referred to as Odorant Binding Protein — the image is that it binds to odor molecules. It was originally discovered in the nose. It's a protein found in the nasal mucosa that selects irritating odors and prevents them from entering the nasal membrane — this has been known for a long time. What Shiseido's research found this time is that this same odor-binding protein also exists in the skin. OBP has a tube-like structure inside. When it's present on the skin's surface, unwanted stimuli attach to it, and it gets trapped inside this tube, blocking it from entering the skin. This is then eliminated through the skin's turnover process — good substances pass through like through a pipe, while unwanted substances get captured in this tube-like structure and are expelled. So what's the difference between having this and not having it? It was found that when OBP levels are high, the epidermis is thicker. In simple terms, first, the barrier function improves. This means the skin becomes less prone to irritation, and having a thicker epidermis means the skin is properly producing intercellular lipids and hyaluronic acid on its own, resulting in more moisture-rich skin. This gives the skin a radiant glow from within. Comparing people with and without OBP, those who have it tend to have more radiant, more stable skin. Unfortunately, though, OBP levels decrease with age. This is why the epidermis becomes thinner over time, and even with your usual skincare routine, you might notice a lack of radiance or increased skin instability. This is exactly why OBP was found to be so important. Once they understood this, of course, the next step was to figure out how to increase OBP — because that would help maintain epidermal thickness, giving skin more radiance and stability. It was discovered that Madonna Lily Petal Extract increases the expression of OBP. By incorporating this ingredient, they can boost OBP expression, helping prevent its decline even as we age. What's also fascinating is that while OBP tends to decrease with age, there's actually a certain percentage of young people who already have reduced OBP levels. So if you want to build a solid skincare foundation, you need to take care to maintain your OBP levels. Clé de Peau is Shiseido's luxury line, right? While this OBP discovery is impressive, the previous generation product also contained Kelp Extract, which increased Laminin 511 in the basement membrane, thereby increasing the number of epidermal stem cells. So Clé de Peau has previously been based on stem cell research as well. And because they've continued researching stem cells, they made yet another major discovery this time. Everyone, what kind of cells do you think stem cells are? Since stem cells can generate into anything, it was almost universally believed — both by the general public and by researchers — that while the number of stem cells might decrease, the stem cells themselves don't age. However, this research revealed that epidermal stem cells actually do age. This discovery was made at CBRC, a joint research facility between Shiseido, Harvard University, and Massachusetts General Hospital. They found that epidermal stem cells contain something called YS Protein, and when this YS Protein degrades, the epidermal stem cells age — causing newly generated cells to become abnormal. Not only that, but these aged stem cells don't just function differently in producing cells — they also negatively affect surrounding cells. So while everyone had been focused on the number of stem cells being produced, thinking "there are so many, that's great," if those stem cells had degraded YS protein, they couldn't produce good cells anyway. This was a transitional discovery showing that it's not about quantity — quality is what truly matters for generating healthy cells. Discovering that stem cells age at all is truly remarkable. And here's another amazing part of the research: they found an ingredient that suppresses the degradation of this YS protein — Lemon Ironwood Extract. This ingredient suppresses YS protein degradation, which in turn suppresses the aging of epidermal stem cells. This allows healthy cells to be properly generated, resulting in skin that ages more slowly. Amazing, right? So this research foundation is what's built into this new Le Serum from Clé de Peau. Even this alone is impressive, but ingredients also need to penetrate the skin properly, right? And there's something amazing built into the penetration technology as well. I think they considered how to get the serum to reach areas of skin irritation quickly — areas with skin irritation tend to have a positive electrical charge. So by incorporating a base with a negative charge, it's designed to be drawn directly to these positively charged areas — just like magnets attracting each other. I think this is incredibly clever, and the way it's seamlessly incorporated really shows that Clé de Peau represents the pinnacle of precision skincare. So to summarize: this serum increases OBP, which selects out irritating stimuli to the skin, suppresses the aging of epidermal stem cells, and overall helps slow down the aging of the skin itself. The price isn't exactly cute, but I imagine many people don't fully understand the mechanisms behind how it improves the skin, so I wanted to dig a little deeper this time. This product contains discoveries that even surprised me, so it's been a while since I got this excited to share something with you all.
