超絶お得なクリスマスコフレで大人メイク

今日はそう、皆さんもハロウィンが終わりましたよね。ということは次に来るビッグイベントって何でしょう？そう、クリスマスでございますよ。そしたらみんな大好きクリスマスコフレになります。ということで今日はクリスマスコフレのご紹介をしていきたいんですけれども、実は私、雑誌のコスメのレビューを書かせていただくお仕事もしておりまして、1ヶ月、いやもう2ヶ月ぐらい前から、いろんなメーカーさんからご提供いただいて、各メーカーさんのクリスマスコフレのレビューを書かせていただいたんですね。 今年もすごく素敵なクリスマスコフレが多くて、その中でも印象に残っているのが、インスタにアップしたんですけれども、ポール＆ジョーさんのドラえもんちゃん。ポール＆ジョーって猫じゃないですか、だからそのドラえもんバージョンのコラボのやつだったりとか、あとはシュウウエムラさんがなんとワンピースとコラボしているアイシャドウパレットだったりとか、もう本当に今年はいろんなクリスマスコフレがあるんですけれども、その中でもこれ一番お得かもと思ったクリスマスコフレを今日はご紹介していきたいと思います。 そのクリスマスコフレがこちら、このランコムのギフトボックスになります。すごくないですか？ちょっと引いてみましょうか。私とこんな感じで、すごい大きな箱に入ってるんですよ。で、早速開けてみたいと思うんですけれども、じゃじゃじゃじゃん。箱の中にもう一つ、箱じゃなくカバンになります。真っ赤で本当クリスマスっぽい感じの箱になるんですが、この箱にゴールドのランコムのロゴが入っているチャームっていうのかな。で、開けると2層になっていて、こんな感じでギフトボックスになっております。これちょっと1個ずつご紹介していきたいと思います。 私がなんでお得かと思ったっていうのは、ビューティーボックスの中に入っているこれ全部合わせると約6万1000円もするらしいんですよ。でもそれをクリスマスコフレとしてビューティーボックスに入れて、なんと21,450円。4万円もお得になってるって、これだけでもなんかすごいって感じしませんか？それで私は今年はこれが一番お得感大きいなぁと思ってご紹介しようと思いました。 あともう一つは、だいたいクリスマスコフレって、さっき私が話したポール＆ジョーさんだったり、シュウウエムラさんも全部メイク用品じゃないですか。カラーものが多いんですけど、このランコムさんのビューティーボックスは、そのカラーはもちろんなんですけれども、実はスキンケアの至高品というか、原品も入っているし、試供品も入っていて。なのでちょっとランコムさんのスキンケア試してみたかったなぁ、ベスコスとかでも入っているスキンケア使いたかったんだけどちょっと手が届かなかったなっていう方にも、スキンケアでお試しをして、その後にカラーでも楽しめるという、2度美味しいクリスマスコフレだなぁと思っています。 箱がこう2つ、こんな感じで入っていて、シートマスクも入って、こういうスキンケアが入ってます。スキンケアはまた別で、しっかりと成分を1個1個言っていくと永遠と長くなっちゃうので、どんなものが入っているかというと、こちらクラリフィック デュアルエッセンスローション。これ私あのデパコスのおすすめ化粧水でも説明したと思うので、その動画ちょっと見ていただきたいなと思うんですが、今年上半期のベスコスの中でも化粧水部門でも上位を獲得したクラリフィックが、ミニサイズとはいえ入ってます。年末年始どっかご旅行行かれたりとかご実家帰られたりするとき、これぐらいのサイズすごく嬉しいですよね。私このクラリフィック使っているので。2層になるやつね、すごいいいなぁと思ったのと、あとランコムといえば美容液の、じゃんこちら、ジェニフィックアドバンストになります。もうランコムの代名詞と言ったらジェニフィックですよね。ジェニフィックってどういう美容液っていうのも丸々撮ってあるので、これはまた詳しく話そうと思うんですが、もうやっぱりロングセラーだけあってめちゃくちゃいいです、これも。試してみたかったなぁと思う人には、たぶん3回分はあるんじゃないかなと思いますので、すごいお得なのと。 そしてもう一つがこちら、ジェニフィックアドバンストアイセラム、ライトパール アイ＆ラッシュになります。こちらは目のアイクリームとアイ美容液ですね。目元の美容液になって、こちらも発売当初はすごくベスコスの常連になっていたものだったので、ジェニフィック使ったことないけど気になってるよっていう人はめちゃめちゃお得だし。それだけじゃないですよ皆さん、じゃーん、このジェニフィックのシートマスクも1枚入ってるんですね。これ私大好きでこのシートマスク。なのでここぞとばかりにやっぱり結構使ってるんですけど、まぁちょっとお値段はお高めなんですが、このクリスマスコフレの中に1枚入ってるので。クリスマスコフレでカラーだけじゃなくてこのランコムのスキンケアの体感をして、透明感がアップした後にメイクをしていくと、やっぱりテンションも上がるじゃないですか。なのでこういうふうにスキンケアと一緒になっているクリスマスコフレってめちゃめちゃ嬉しいなぁと私は思っております。 はい、ではカラーものに続くんですけれども、こちらベスコス常連のUVエクスペルトンアップローズですね、とあとは、じゃじゃん、これがカラーもの全部になります。アイシャドウとチーク、ミニリップと原品のリップとマスカラになります。これだけでもめちゃめちゃ豪華ですよね。 こちらのアイシャドウパレットになります。なんかこう見ると、なんか青とかあるしなんか赤とかあるし、なんかちょっと使いづらそうって思っているそこのあなた、実はですねこれ塗ってみるとすごく今時というか、今年っぽいあの色になるんですね。ただちょっとそういうなんかあんまりアクティブにしたくないよといった、このこの3つはベーシックに使えるし、あとこのピンク、このピンクがすごくなんていうでしょう、上品なラメ感のピンクなんですよ。なのでこのピンクとこの真ん中の色っていうのでも本当に落ち着いた色味になります。ただ今年っぽい顔仕上げたいと思うんだったら、こうちょっと赤みも入れてもらいたいし、あとこの青が実はすごく良いお仕事をしてくれるので、これは直接私のアイメイクしていこうと思います。 続いてはこちらチークになります。このチークね、ちょっと青みが入ったピンクで、肌に乗せるとね絶対これ透明感出るやつだなぁと思っています。でね、ちょっとわかるかな、微妙にちょっとラメ感もあるんですよ。でもラメ感って言ってもギラギラしたラメ感じゃなくて、上品なラメ感があるので、これも直接肌に乗せてレビューしたいと思います。 で続いてが、じゃじゃん、リップね。リップは、ちょっと原品サイズの大きめの、まあこれもめちゃめちゃ今年っぽいですよね、柿色っていうんですかね、そういうラプソールルージュ120番の原品サイズが一つと、これはミニサイズだからポーチの中に入れといたりとかするといいですよね。こちらはもう定番のベージュピンクですよね。だから多分万人受けというか嫌いな人はいないんじゃないかなっていうようなお色が、ハーフサイズで入っております。 そしてこちらがマスカラ、グランディオーズになります。このグランディオーズもね、あのベスコスすごく獲っていたものだと思うので、これ結構もうめちゃめちゃ普通の原品サイズというか、普通に売ってるやつですねが丸々1個入ってます。でこれもレビューしたいです。 これだけでもすごいなと思うんですけど、なんとブラシセットまでついてるっていう。これブラシ嬉しくないですか？なんかブラシって実は結構買うと高かったりとか、あとブラシ専門のところもね、もちろんいいんですけれども、持ち運べるようなポーチというかものもついて、ほらこれが多分大きめなので、ファンデーションとかあとはお粉とかをのせるようなブラシですね。こうちょっと大きめのこういうブラシと、もう一つがこれはチークブラシかな、ちょっと小さめのチークブラシになります。で嬉しいのは、じゃん、このアイシャドウブラシも入ってて嬉しいですよね。それもねちょっとね短めだから、ポーチの中に入れておいても邪魔にならないので、さっきのアイシャドウをこちらのブラシで塗っていこうと思います。結構ね柔らかいすごい気持ちいい。 はいということでじゃあ早速やっていきたいと思うので、ピンでちょっと止めて。ファンデーションと眉毛はもう作ってあります。なのでアイシャドウとあとはマスカラでチークまでいこうと思います。こんなにね色があるからすごく迷うんですね。 さっきも話したようにこの3種類だけだと、たぶんもういつものメイクねってなると思うので、皆さんが気になっているこの青とかこの赤み系を使って、どんな風に大人な、なんか派手にならない大人メイクができるかなっていうのをちょっとやってみようかなと思います。 はい、では早速アイシャドウ塗っていこうと思います。でこちらのアイシャドウなんですが、もうすごいねカラフルなので、なんかもうこれちょっと使いづらいなと思う方もいらっしゃると思うんですが、よく見るとこの3色はすごく万能なカラーで、この大きいシャンパンゴールドを全体的に塗って、あのこのちょっともっとゴールドっぽいのを黒目の上に塗って、この茶色をアイラインで抜くように塗るっていうともう本当に王道なものができると思うんですね。 でもそれじゃあちょっとクリスマスコフレせっかくだなぁと思うので、今年のキーカラーとも呼ばれるこの赤メイクですね、レッドメイクをこのクリスマスコフレでやっていきたいなと思います。では早速こちら、ちょっとねピンクですね、この綺麗なラメがすごい綺麗なピンクを、先ほどのブラシを使って目の眉下とかを全体的に塗っていこうと思います。ちょっとねランコムさん結構色がしっかり出ていくので、ゆっくりゆっくり伸ばしていったほうがいいかな。薄くメイクをこういう感じで。であんたりですねシュイシュイシュイと、どうですか？綺麗ですね、やっぱり。ラメ感もほどよくあって、この辺ちょっとツヤっとなりますね。いい感じ、ほど良い感じですね。 そこに今度ははいこちらの赤を載せていきたいと思います。結構、えこんな赤入れちゃうのって思うかもしれないんですけど、今年はねこういう赤がすごく流行っているので、これをさっきのものに、そう薄く薄く塗っていくと、そんなに怖いことはないので、目を開いた時に、あなんとなく血管が透けてるかなみたいな感じの方が結構綺麗かなと思います。これだけでも私ね、結構二重の幅が狭いので、特に目頭の方で狭いので、ちょっとわかりにくいかもしれないので、ちょっとこの目尻側にも少し太めに入れておきます。そうすると開いた時に分かりやすいかな。そう、ここが何もしてない目で、ここが今した目になります。開けた感じ、こんな感じで違うかなぁと思います。どうでしょうか。 これだけでもねすごく今年っぽい色になると思うんですが、そこにこの下まつ毛のところに、この薄いシャンパンゴールドを、このパレットについてたブラシで、ついたブラシの方が細いので、ちょっとそこに下まぶたに入れていこうと思います。そうするとねちょっと下にキラッとしたものを入れると、まあレフ版効果みたいな感じで、白目がね白く見えてくれるので。そこはねちょっと、どうですか？ちょっと囲みまでは行かないんだけど結構違くなりませんか？そう、大人な感じ。 やっぱり赤だけ入れるとボヤッとしているので、アイラインを引くようなイメージでこのブラウンですね、これでアイラインを引いていきます。これも付属のもので引いていきます。うんこれすごいね、付属のあのブラシもとっても使いやすい。ほらこれだともうアイライン引いたみたいですもんね。ほら大きさ全然違くないですか？うんこっちの方が目がほらこうでしょ。こっちはもうほんと素ですよ。でほらこっちの方がなんかもうすでに目が大きく、黒目がパッチリみたいな。こっちのパッチリとこっちのパッチリ違いません？いい感じにこっちの方がパッチリ空いてるかなと。でこれをキワでちょっとだけ、ちょっとだけねちょっとだけここにもなんか足して。どうですか？いい感じ。こうと、こうです。どうですか？こっちとこっちわかるかな。いい感じ、ああいい感じ、いい感じいい感じってしか言ってないような気がするけど、そうこれだとなんか大人でもこの赤メイクというかレッドメイクをすごく楽しめるんですね。 これ普段使いで全然いけると思うんですけど、もっとパーティーでエンジョイというか目立ちたいよっていう時には、今は私さっきここも赤を使ったんですけど、もうちょっと赤を足したいという時は、このちょっとピンクっぽいものを肌にする場合は、この上にもうちょっとこれをピンク足すだけでもっとこう赤みメイクに仕上がると思うので、これはちょっと今日TPOを踏まえて入れた方がいいかな。さらにパーティーですっていう時には、この本当のゴールドをほんのちょっとだけ、乗せるので入れていくといいかなぁ。この目の真ん中だけに入れていくと、ちょっとキャットゴールドが入るので、もうこれは結構パーティーメイクかなと思いきや、でも目をねこう閉じるとそうでもないので、これぐらいでも意外とそんなに違和感がないですよね。こういうメイク今年はありかなと思います。どうですか？右と左と見ていかがでしょうか。ということでこっちも仕上げちゃいます。両目やってみましたどうでしょうか。意外と赤でもそんなに、42歳でも怒られないというか、頑張ってる感はなくないですか？ただちょっと伏し目がちにこうした時に、あなんとなく赤があるなっていう感じになると思います。どうでしょうかわかりますかね、こんな感じの仕上がりです。 結構ね自然な仕上がりだと思います。でそこにじゃあビューラーとかをしていこうと思います。こちらのさっきのマスカラ、あのマスカラ結構ボリュームが出るタイプだと思うので、しっかりあげてググッとマスカラであげて。これね全然関係ないんですけど、スックのビューラーね、これもね私大好きで今回のクリスマスコフレとは関係ないんですけど結構おすすめです。でマスカラが結構ね曲がってて塗りやすいんですよね、目にしっかり当たるっていうか。こうしてグググググッと、結構つくね。いい感じじゃないですか？そんなひじきっていう感じでもないけど、ほら長さが結構出ましたよね。まっすぐ見てもいい感じかなぁと、下まつ毛を塗っちゃいます。どうでしょう、結構アイメイクバッチリ出たかなぁと思いますけど、なんかこう、ってした時になんかぽわーっといい感じの赤が効いてきているような。でもこう私猫二重の幅がねあんまり大きくないのに、持ってやっちゃうとわかんないけど、ちょっと伏し目がちになるとこう赤が見えてくるっていうのがちょっと嬉しいポイントかなと思います。 そうもうアイカラーは終わったのでチークいきますチークいきます。先ほどついていたあのブラシでつけようと思います。さっきねせっかくブラシがあったので、このパウダーブラシでつけちゃいます。フワッとね、笑った時のわかりますかねここ、塗ってない。やっぱりこっち塗った方がちょっとシャープに見えるというか、大人はちょっとね気持ち上目に入れてあげた方が、ここに入れちゃうとね方が下がるじゃないですけど、笑った時に上がってチークが上がっている方がなんか若々しく見えるので、この目のギリギリあたりに入れてあげると、こういう感じに、ここはほらね全然違いますよね。ということでここも入れていきます。笑った時のこのシワがね気になるんだけどしょうがないか、これはどうでしょうか。はいこんな感じで仕上がりました。 で最後はリップですね。リップどこを塗ろうかなどっち塗ろうかなと思っていて、しっかりメイクをしたからこの色結構今年の柿色っぽくて可愛いんですけど、このメイクに合うかな。それだったらここのベージュの方が合う気もするんですよ、このベージュだと。多分本当にもう皆さんお察しの通りだと思いますから、ちょっとあえて目もしっかりですけど色味を見るという意味で、ちょっと柿色のいってみます。あ思ったよりも大事なんですね色、どうでしょうか。結構派手になるかなと思ったら、思ったよりは結構いけるかもしれない。どうでしょうか皆さん。 これねこういう見た目は結構色つくかなぁと思ったんですけど、乗せてみるとそうでもない。結構薄く薄く乗せていってるからかな。あ意外とあるじゃないですか、なんとなく全体的にテカリを抑えるので、なんとなく全体的に。うんやっぱりこっち、入れたところがツヤッとするし、このあのアイシャドウのこのラメのところが、このくの字のツヤ感を出してくれるから肌が綺麗に見えますね。このアイシャドウになるとどうでしょうか。こんな感じでクリスマスコフレでメイク完成です。結構ね見た目が派手だからなんか軽減されがちかなぁと思ったんですけど、結構今年っぽく仕上がりますよね。 このブルー使いたい場合はこっちのゴールド、シャンパンゴールドとか薄いゴールドをアイホールに全部塗って、でこのゴールドを目のこの中心に塗って、気持ち薄くアイラインとしてこの青を使っていただけると、意外とこの青も使えるんじゃないかなと思いますし、この青ね実はそんなにねほらあんまり発色しないの、そこまでほらなんかベースの色っぽい感じで。私どっちかというとあんまりブルーがもともと似合わない肌なので、ブルーをするとちょっと暗くなるんですが、結構ブルーとこれを塗るとちょっとグレーっぽい色になりませんほら、そうなんですこの2つを塗ると結構よいしょ、グレーっぽい色になるので、なんかグレーのグラデーションをするような感覚で塗るといいのかなと思っちゃったりします。この青はこの茶色と一緒に混ぜて使うと結構使えるんじゃないかなと思うので、今度はこっちでやってみたいなぁと思ったりします。 はいでチークはもうどんな人でも似合うよねっていう、この笑った時にできるピンクがすごく素敵な、こんな青みピンクは多分嫌いな人いなくないですかね。似合わない人あんまりいないかなっていうようなピンクだし、このリップが結構意外で、こうね肌に直接、直に塗るとこういう感じだし、ちょっとリップペンシルで塗ってみましょうかね。色をのせるとそうすると結構しっかり出るか。それでもまあ今アイシャドウがね結構派手目だから、少しやりすぎている感じはあるかもしれないですけど、リップ単体で見たらそんなに派手な感じはしないかなぁと思います。これだったらアラフォーでもいけるんじゃないでしょうか。どうでしょうか。結構ねリップ派手かなぁと思ったし、アイシャドウも派手かなぁと思ったんですけど、意外といい感じにチークと混ざっていいかなと思います。どうでしょうか。このやっぱりこのラメが綺麗ですよね、このここのラメがすごく綺麗だし、チークのこのツヤ感もすごく素敵だし、リップの色が思ったよりも本当に綺麗、すごい綺麗。これいいかも、これ普段使いにめちゃくちゃ良さそうです。 はいいかがでしょうか、こんな感じに仕上がりました。 はいいかがでしたか？今回はこちら、ランコムさんのビューティーボックス、クリスマスコフレですね、を私にメイクしてみました。最初にも言ったんですけれども、いろんなクリスマスコフレ見ました。今年は本当にレビュー書かせていただいたりしたので可愛いものもいっぱいあったんですが、こういうスキンケアのヒット商品もサンプルで入っていて、肌に透明感を出した後にメイクをするっていうのは、とってもブランドさんのイメージにぴったりな、肌の上にカラーをのせていくっていうのが一番わかりやすいんじゃないかなと思って、こちらを選んでみました。 であとはこのアイシャドウですね、結構このアイシャドウ、色がはっきりしているので使いにくいかなと思うかもしれないですけども、意外と合わせやすい色もあるし、なんといっても今年の旬の色ですよね。今年のレッドメイクって言うんですかね、こう赤い高血色メイクにぴったりな色合いがグラデーションができるパレットになってますので、もう2020年の旬の顔を作れると言っても過言ではないかなと思うアイパレットになっております。チークはね、本当にさっき言ったみたいな青みピンクなので、どんな年代の方にも合うし、あとはマスカラもこんな地まつ毛でもしっかりパッチリ上げてくれるようなものになっているし、そうそうそう、ブラシもねすごいですよね。 なので今年はクリスマスって言ってもなかなかねみんなで集まれないですけれども、クリスマスコフレでメイクをして自分のテンションを上げるっていうことも一つ楽しみかなと思いますし、もちろんランコムさんだけじゃなくて、今年はいっぱい可愛いクリスマスコフレが出ているので、今までクリスマスコフレあんまり興味なかったよという方も、いろいろ探してみていただけるといいかなと思います。 でやっぱりこのランコムさんのお得は、ちょっとお値段のことを言うの嫌らしいですけど、先ほども言いましたけど、6万円相当がなんと21,450円。すごくない？4万円もお安くなっているということなので、これはすごくお得かなと思うのと、あとはやっぱりスキンケアと一緒に使っていくっていうのが一番かなと私は思いました。 And that means everyone's favorite Christmas coffret sets. So today I want to introduce Christmas coffrets. Actually, I also do work writing cosmetics reviews for magazines, so for about a month, or actually more like two months now, I've been receiving products from various manufacturers and writing reviews of their Christmas coffrets. There have been so many wonderful Christmas coffrets this year. Among them, one that left an impression on me, which I posted on Instagram, was Paul & Joe's Doraemon collaboration - Paul & Joe's mascot is a cat, so this was a Doraemon version collab. Also, Shu Uemura collaborated with One Piece for their eyeshadow palette. There really are so many different Christmas coffrets this year, but among all of them, I want to introduce what I thought was the best value Christmas coffret today. That Christmas coffret is this one - Lancôme's gift box. Isn't it amazing? Let me step back a bit so you can see - it comes in this huge box like this. Let's open it right away... ta-da! Inside the box there's another box - actually it's a bag. It's bright red, very Christmas-like, and this box has a gold Lancôme logo charm on it. When you open it, there are two layers, and it's set up like this as a beauty box. Let me introduce each item one by one. The reason I thought this was such a great deal is that everything inside this beauty box adds up to about 61,000 yen in value. But as a Christmas coffret in this beauty box, it's only 21,450 yen - that's 40,000 yen off! Doesn't that just seem incredible? That's why I thought this had the biggest value this year and wanted to introduce it. Another reason is that most Christmas coffrets, like the Paul & Joe and Shu Uemura ones I mentioned, are all makeup products - mostly color cosmetics. But this Lancôme Beauty Box, while of course including color products, actually also includes skincare items - both full-size and sample sizes. So for those who wanted to try Lancôme's skincare, like the ones that appear in best cosmetics awards but were hard to get your hands on, you can try the skincare first and then enjoy the color cosmetics afterward - it's like getting two treats in one Christmas coffret. There are two boxes like this, and there's a sheet mask included too - this is the skincare section. I'll do a detailed review of the skincare separately since going through each ingredient one by one would take forever, but what's included is this: Clarifique Dual Essence Lotion. I think I explained this in my recommended department store cosmetics video, so please check that out, but Clarifique, which ranked highly in this year's first-half best cosmetics awards in the lotion category, is included here, albeit in mini size. For year-end and New Year trips or visiting family, this size is really convenient. I use this Clarifique myself. It's the two-layer type - I think it's great. And when it comes to Lancôme, you can't forget the serum - ta-da, this is Génifique Advanced. If Lancôme has a signature product, it's definitely Génifique. I have a whole video explaining what kind of serum Génifique is, so I'll go into detail about that separately, but as expected from a long-selling product, it's really excellent. For those who wanted to try it, I think there's probably about 3 applications worth here, so that's a great value too. And another item is this - Génifique Advanced Eye Serum, Light Pearl Eye & Lash. This is an eye cream and eye serum for the eye area. This one was also a regular in best cosmetics awards when it first launched, so if you've never used Génifique but have been curious about it, this is a great deal. But that's not all, everyone - ta-da, there's also one sheet of the Génifique sheet mask included! I absolutely love this sheet mask, so I use it whenever I get the chance, even though it's a bit pricey. But there's one included in this Christmas coffret. So with this Christmas coffret, you're not just getting color cosmetics, but you can experience Lancôme's skincare, get that added radiance, and then do your makeup - which really boosts your mood, right? So having a Christmas coffret that combines skincare like this makes me really happy. Okay, moving on to the color items - here's the UV Expert Youth Shield Rosé, which is also a best cosmetics regular, and then, ta-da, here are all the color items: eyeshadow, cheek, mini lipstick, full-size lipstick, and mascara. This alone is incredibly luxurious, right? This is the eyeshadow palette. Looking at it, you might think "there's blue, there's red, this looks hard to use" - but you there thinking that, actually when you apply it, it becomes a very modern, this-year kind of color. But if you don't want to go too bold, these three colors can be used as a basic combination. And this pink - this pink has such an elegant glitter to it. So this pink combined with the middle color creates a really calm, subdued look. But if you want to achieve this year's look, you'll want to add some red tones, and this blue actually does a great job too - I'll try applying this directly for my eye makeup. Next is the cheek color. This cheek has a slightly blue-tinted pink, and when applied to the skin, I bet it gives that transparent glow. Can you tell? There's subtly a bit of glitter too. But when I say glitter, it's not a gaudy sparkle, but an elegant shimmer, so I want to try applying this directly to my skin too for the review. Next up, ta-da, lipstick. The lipstick comes in a larger full-size version - this is also very on-trend for this year, sort of a persimmon color, called Rapsodie Rouge #120 in full size, and then there's a mini size version too, which is nice to keep in your pouch. This one is a classic beige-pink shade - probably universally loved, nobody dislikes this color, and it comes in half size. And this is the mascara, Grandiose. This Grandiose was also a big winner in best cosmetics awards, and this comes as a full, regular retail-size product. I want to review this too. This alone would be amazing, but it even comes with a brush set! Isn't that exciting to have brushes included? Brushes can actually be quite expensive to buy separately, and while specialty brush shops are great too, this comes with a portable pouch as well. This one is probably a larger brush for applying foundation or setting powder. There's this slightly bigger brush, and another one that's probably a cheek brush, a bit smaller. And what's nice is - ta-da - there's an eyeshadow brush included too! This one is a bit shorter, so it won't take up much space in your pouch. I'll use this brush to apply the eyeshadow I mentioned earlier. It's quite soft, feels really nice. Okay, so let's get started right away - I'll pin back my hair a bit. I've already done my foundation and eyebrows, so I'll go from eyeshadow to mascara to cheek. There are so many colors here, it's hard to decide. As I mentioned before, if I just use these three colors, it'll probably end up being my usual makeup look, so I want to try using this blue and this reddish tone that everyone's curious about, to create a mature look that's adult but not too flashy. Okay, let's start applying the eyeshadow. This eyeshadow palette is so colorful that some of you might think it looks hard to use, but if you look closely, these three colors are actually very versatile. Apply this large champagne gold all over, then apply this slightly more gold shade above the iris, and use this brown along the lash line - doing this creates a really classic, timeless look. But that would be a waste of this special Christmas coffret, so I want to do this year's key color - red makeup - with this Christmas coffret. Let's start with this pink - this beautiful glitter pink - I'll use the brush from before to apply it all over, under the brow area. Lancôme's colors tend to show up quite strongly, so I should blend slowly. Apply lightly like this. And then blend it in with quick strokes. How does it look? Beautiful, right? The glitter is just the right amount, and this area gets a nice sheen. Nice, just the right amount. Now I'll layer this red on top. You might think, "wait, adding red like this?" But this kind of red is really trending this year, so I'll apply it thinly, thinly over what I just did. Applying it lightly like this isn't scary at all - when you open your eyes, it looks like you can subtly see blood vessels showing through, which actually looks quite beautiful. Since my double eyelid crease is on the narrower side, especially near the inner corner, it might be hard to tell, so I'll add a bit more, slightly thicker, toward the outer corner. That way it'll be more noticeable when I open my eyes. So this is the eye without anything, and this is the eye with it applied now. Opening it up like this - how does it look, is there a difference? This alone creates a really on-trend color for this year, but then I'll add this light champagne gold to the lower lash line area, using the brush that came with the palette since it's thinner - I'll apply it to the lower eyelid area. Adding a bit of sparkle there creates a sort of reflector effect, making the whites of the eyes appear brighter. How does that look? It's not quite a full halo eye look, but doesn't it look quite different? Yes, more mature-looking. If you just add red, it looks a bit blurry/undefined, so I'll use this brown to draw an eyeline, like drawing an eyeliner. I'll use the brush that came with it for this too. This is really nice - the included brush is also very easy to use. See, with this it already looks like I've drawn an eyeliner. See how different the size is? This side has more definition to the eye, see? This side is completely bare. And see how this side already looks bigger, with the iris looking more defined. Comparing the definition on this side versus this side - this side looks nicely more open and defined. I'll add just a tiny bit more right at the base here too. How's that? Nice. Like this, and like this. How is it? Can you tell the difference between this side and this side? Nice, yeah nice - I feel like I'm just saying "nice" over and over, but with this, even mature women can really enjoy this red makeup look. This would work great for everyday wear, but if you want to stand out more for a party, when I want to add a bit more red like I did here, if you want a slightly pink tone on the skin, just adding a bit more pink on top of this will create a more red-toned makeup look, so I think it's good to consider TPO for this. And if you want to go even more party-ready, adding just a tiny bit of true gold - applying it just to the center of the eye - adds a bit of a cat-eye gold effect. This might seem like quite a party makeup look, but when you close your eyes, it's not overly dramatic, so even this amount doesn't look out of place at all. I think this kind of makeup is totally fine this year. How does it look, comparing right and left? So I'll finish the other eye too. I did both eyes now, how does it look? Surprisingly, even with red, it doesn't feel like something inappropriate for someone in their 40s, or like you're trying too hard, right? But when you look down slightly, you notice there's a hint of red there. How does it look, can you tell? This is the finished look. I think it's a pretty natural finish. Now let's use an eyelash curler. Using the mascara from before - I think this mascara really adds volume, so I'll curl firmly and apply the mascara with good lift. This is totally unrelated, but the SUQQU eyelash curler - I love this too, it's not related to this Christmas coffret, but I really recommend it. The mascara wand has a nice curve that makes it easy to apply, really catching onto the lashes well. Applying it like this, it really builds up nicely. Looks pretty good, right? It's not overly dramatic, but look how much length it added. Looking straight ahead, it looks good too. I'll do the lower lashes as well. How does it look, I think the eye makeup came out pretty well - there's this soft, nice reddish glow happening. Since my eyes have a cat-eye shape with a narrower double lid, it's hard to tell at first glance, but when I look down slightly, that red becomes visible, which I think is a nice hidden detail. Okay, eye makeup is done, so let's move on to cheeks. I'll use the brush that came with it earlier. Since we happen to have this powder brush, I'll use it for this. Applying it softly - can you tell the difference here where it's not applied yet? Applying it here makes the face look sharper somehow. For mature skin, it's better to apply it slightly higher, positioned upward - if you apply it too low, it can make the face look like it's sagging, but applying cheek color higher, near where it lifts when you smile, makes you look more youthful. So applying it near this edge of the eye area, like this - see how different it looks here? So I'll apply it on this side too. The wrinkles that appear when I smile are a bit concerning, but that can't be helped. How does this look? Yes, it's finished like this. Now finally, the lips. I'm deciding which shade to apply, which one to use - since I've done a full makeup look, this persimmon-ish color would be cute for this year, but will it match this particular makeup? Actually, this beige tone might match better with this look. I think you all probably already guessed that, but I'll go ahead and try the persimmon color anyway, just to see the color even though I've already done a full eye look. Oh, the color is more subdued than I thought - how does it look? I thought it would look quite bold, but it's actually more wearable than I expected. What do you all think? I thought this color would show up quite strongly based on how it looks in the tube, but applying it, it's not as intense. Maybe it's because I'm applying it thin, layer by layer. Oh, it's actually there, this subtle overall shine-reducing effect throughout. Yeah, the area where I applied it definitely has a nice sheen, and this glitter from the eyeshadow creates that curved highlight effect that makes the skin look beautiful. With this eyeshadow, how does the overall look come together? This is the completed Christmas coffret makeup look! I thought since the visuals looked quite bold, the actual application might tone it down, and it really does come together in a very on-trend way for this year. If you want to use this blue, apply this gold or light champagne gold all over the eyelid, then apply this gold to the center of the eye, and use this blue lightly as an eyeliner - I think this blue could actually work well too. This blue doesn't actually show up too strongly in color, it's more like a base tone. I personally don't have skin that suits blue very well, so applying blue on its own tends to look a bit dull, but when I combine blue with this brown, doesn't it create a nice grayish tone? Yes, exactly, combining these two creates kind of a grayish color, so I think applying it like creating a gray gradient would work well. This blue combined with this brown could really work, so I want to try that combination next time. And for cheeks, this pink that appears when you smile suits everyone - this blue-toned pink is probably a color that nobody dislikes, hardly anyone wouldn't suit this pink. And this lipstick was surprisingly nice - applying it directly to the lips like this looks like this, let me try applying it with a lip pencil too. Layering the color like this makes it show up more solidly. Even so, since the eyeshadow is quite bold right now, it might look a bit much overall, but looking at the lip color alone, it's not too flashy - I think this would even work for women in their 40s. How does it look? I thought the lipstick would be bold, and I thought the eyeshadow would be bold too, but they blend surprisingly well with the cheek color. How does it look? This glitter is really beautiful, this glitter here is stunning, the sheen from the cheek color is lovely too, and the lip color is more beautiful than I expected - really beautiful. This might be great, this would work really well for everyday wear. So, how does it look? This is how it turned out. So, how was it? Today I tried doing my makeup with this Lancôme Beauty Box Christmas coffret. As I mentioned at the beginning, I've seen many Christmas coffrets this year since I've been writing reviews, and there were lots of cute options, but I chose this one because it includes hit skincare products as samples, and I thought applying makeup after adding radiance to the skin perfectly matches the brand's image - putting color on top of beautiful skin seemed like the clearest way to represent that. Also, this eyeshadow - you might think it's hard to use because the colors are so bold, but there are actually colors that are easy to combine, and above all, these are this year's trending colors. This palette lets you create a gradient perfect for this year's red makeup look, this flushed red-cheek makeup trend, so I'd say this eye palette could genuinely help you create a look that's right on trend for 2020. The cheek color is truly the blue-toned pink I mentioned, so it suits any age group, and the mascara really lifts and defines even lashes like mine that are quite fine and straight, and yes, the brushes are amazing too. So even though it's hard to gather with everyone this Christmas, I think doing your makeup with a Christmas coffret to boost your own mood could be one way to enjoy the season.
