2022年上半期のベストコスメを一緒に選んでください 〜化粧水・美容液編〜

皆さんこんにちは、智子です。5月も半ばを過ぎて、今年ももう半分が終わろうとしています。そうなると大変なのがベストコスメのシーズンです。私は美容雑誌のベストコスメ審査員をいくつかやらせてもらっているので、この時期は選ぶのが本当に大変なんです。 そこで今日は、皆さんと一緒にベストコスメを選びたいと思います。今回は化粧水・乳液・美容液・クリームについてご紹介するので、「これいいんじゃない？」というものをぜひコメントに書いてください。ベストコスメ選びの参考にしたいと思います。 今年もたくさん良いコスメが出ていて、本当に悩みました。まず洗い物系（クレンジングや洗顔）は私の中ですぐに決まったのですが、化粧水と美容液は毎年本当に悩みます。特に今年は化粧水が豊作だったと感じました。 化粧水で候補に挙げたいのは、BA、エスティローダー、クリニーク、エピステーム、ドゥ・ラ・メール、そしてディオールです。それぞれの良さを改めてご紹介します。 まずBAの「ザ ローション イマース」。これは以前深掘り動画でも紹介しましたが、汗をかいたときに毛穴が目立つのを抑えてくれるという画期的なアイテムです。なぜ汗によって毛穴が目立つのかというメカニズムまでしっかり研究した上で作られていて、さすがBAだと思います。春夏には欠かせない、美白とはまた違う「毛穴によるキメの乱れ・色ムラ」を抑えるという発想がとても画期的で、これは本命の一つです。 次に面白いと思ったのが、エピステームの「ホワイトレーザーローション」です。エピステームはロート製薬の上位ブランドで、美容クリニックとの共同研究で作られる製品が多いのが特徴です。今回のローションも、日本人の中で肌の色に違いが出る理由を研究する中で見つかった「OCA2遺伝子」に着目しています。この遺伝子が少ない人ほど色白で透明感のある肌になることが分かっていて、美容皮膚科のIPL（光）治療でもこの遺伝子の発現が抑えられることが知られています。それと同じアプローチを化粧水で実現しようとしたのが、このホワイトレーザーローションです。独自の「フォトショットコンプレックス」という成分がOCA2遺伝子の発現を抑えてくれるとされていて、薬用成分としてトラネキサム酸も配合されています。「レーザーローション」というネーミングも面白く、これもノミネートしたい一品です。 続いて、エスティローダーの「マイクロエッセンス ローション」と、ディオールの「カプチュール トータル インテンシブ エッセンス ローション」。どちらも深掘り動画で紹介していますが、共通しているのは発酵技術を使ってバリア機能をアップし、透明感を引き出すという点です。それぞれの発酵技術が素晴らしく、どちらも捨てがたい存在です。 まだ深掘りはしていませんが、外せないと思ったのがクリニークの「モイスチャーサージ」と、ドゥ・ラ・メールの「ザ・トリートメントローション」です。 クリニークのモイスチャーサージは、以前からアロエ発酵エキスが配合されていて、肌の水分循環を良くすることで知られていました。以前、体調が悪くてこのジェルクリームだけ塗って寝た日でも肌の調子が良かったほどで、その効果を実感していました。今回のバージョンアップでは「アロエ発酵コンプレックス」が追加され、コラーゲンの産生を促したり、肌の常在菌（美肌菌とも言われる表皮ブドウ球菌など）のバランスを整えてくれる効果が加わりました。もともとのポテンシャルの高さに加えてさらに進化した点が魅力です。 ドゥ・ラ・メールの「ザ・トリートメントローション」も今年リニューアルしました。ドゥ・ラ・メールといえば秘伝の「ミラクルブロス」が有名ですが、今回は「ダブルファーメント」という技術で、ミネラルブロスをダブルで培養したものが配合されています。これにより肌細胞への酸素供給力が高まり、肌の代謝アップやターンオーバーの促進が期待できます。ミラクルブロスによるキメ・ハリ効果に加え、抗炎症効果も期待できるとのことで、テクスチャーもとろりとしていながらすっと肌に入っていく感触はさすがデパコスだと感じました。 化粧水だけでもこれだけあります。皆さんはどれが気になりますか？ぜひコメント欄で教えてください。 続いて美容液です。こちらも本当に悩みに悩んで3つに絞りました。ランコムの「レネルジー HCF トリプルセラム」、クレ・ド・ポー ボーテの「セラム エクラ」、そしてアルビオンの「エクシア ホワイト ブライトニング イマキュレートセラム」です。 ランコムのレネルジーHCFトリプルセラムには、ビタミンC・ナイアシンアミド・フェルラ酸という3つの成分が配合されています。これらは一緒に配合するのではなく、使用時に初めて混ざる仕組みになっていて、それぞれの安定性を保ちながら美白・シワ改善・肌のハリアップといった多くの効果を狙えるのが特徴です。これも捨てがたい一品です。 クレ・ド・ポー ボーテの美容液も今年バージョンアップしました。今回はエピジェネティクスに着目していて、肌の透明感に関わる「TYRP1遺伝子」に注目しています。紫外線や加齢によってこの遺伝子の働きが抑制されると、肌がくすんで見えたり沈んで見えたり、キメが乱れたりします。この遺伝子への“鍵”がかからないようにするために資生堂が見出したのが「シーファーメントブライトナー」という独自成分で、テルモナズ発酵エキスとグリセリンを組み合わせたものです。さらに将来的にはこの遺伝子の発現自体を高めることも目指しているそうで、非常に期待できる研究だと感じました。加えて資生堂独自の美白有効成分「4MSK」を高濃度配合し、抗炎症作用のあるシコンエキスも配合されているとのことです。透明感と美白を両立させるこのエピジェネティクス研究の成果はとても興味深く、これも外せません。 最後にアルビオンの「エクシア ホワイト ブライトニング イマキュレートセラム」。個包装になっていて、私は毎年1箱使い切るほど愛用しているアイテムです。もともとビタミンCと甘草由来成分が配合されていて、とろりとしたヨーグルトのようなテクスチャーが好きなのですが、今回はバイオベンチャーと共同開発した浸透技術がバージョンアップし、成分をより肌の奥まで届けられるようになりました。使う前から殿堂入り確実だと思うほど期待していて、そろそろ使い始めようと思っています。 この3つの美容液、皆さんならどれを選びますか？ こんな感じで、ベストコスメを決めるのに本当に悩みに悩んでいます。化粧水と美容液だけでこんなに長く話してしまいました。乳液とクリームはまた次回にしたいと思います。 今日ご紹介した化粧水と美容液の中で、皆さんが「これがベストコスメ！」と思うものをぜひコメント欄に書いてください。 次回は乳液編・クリーム編をお届けします。それまで楽しみにしていてください。それではまた次回、さようなら。

Hello everyone, this is Tomoko. We're already past mid-May, and this year is about to be half over. And that means it's Best Cosmetics season again! I serve as a judge for the Best Cosmetics awards for several beauty magazines, so this time of year is always really tough for me. So today, I'd like to choose the Best Cosmetics together with all of you. This time I'll be introducing lotions, milky lotions, serums, and creams — so please leave a comment with anything you think is great, since I'd love your input for my final picks. So many great products came out again this year, and I really struggled to choose. The cleansing items (cleansers and face washes) were actually easy to decide on, but lotions and serums are always the hardest every year. This year in particular, I felt lotions had a especially strong lineup. For lotions, my candidates are BA, Estée Lauder, Clinique, Epistème, La Mer, and Dior. Let me go through each of their strengths again. First, BA's 'The Lotion Immerse.' I covered this in a deep-dive video before — it's a groundbreaking product that helps prevent pores from becoming more visible when you sweat. They actually researched the mechanism behind why sweating makes pores look bigger, which is very BA of them. It's not exactly whitening care, but addressing pore-related texture disruption and uneven tone makes it a great pick for spring and summer. Definitely a top contender. Next, something I found really interesting: Epistème's 'White Laser Lotion.' Epistème is Rohto's premium skincare line, often developed in collaboration with dermatology clinics. This lotion focuses on the 'OCA2 gene,' discovered through research into why some Japanese people have fairer or darker skin tones. People with lower expression of this gene tend to have fairer, more translucent skin, and it's known that IPL (light) treatments at dermatology clinics can suppress this gene's expression. This lotion tries to achieve a similar effect through skincare, using their proprietary 'Photo Shot Complex' to suppress OCA2 gene expression, along with the active ingredient tranexamic acid. I also just love the name 'Laser Lotion' — definitely a nominee for me. Next are Estée Lauder's 'Micro Essence Lotion' and Dior's 'Capture Total Intensive Essence Lotion.' I've covered both in deep-dive videos before. Both use fermentation technology to boost the skin's barrier function and enhance clarity. Each brand's fermentation technology is impressive in its own way, making both very hard to give up. I haven't done deep-dive videos on these yet, but I also can't leave out Clinique's 'Moisture Surge' and La Mer's 'The Treatment Lotion.' Clinique's Moisture Surge has long contained fermented aloe extract, known for improving the skin's moisture circulation. I once had a really rough day, could barely wash my face, and just applied this gel cream before sleeping — and somehow my skin looked great the next day despite how I felt. This time, they added a new 'Aloe Ferment Complex,' which promotes collagen production and helps balance the skin's resident microbiome (including what's sometimes called 'beautiful skin bacteria' like Staphylococcus epidermidis). Given how strong the original formula already was, this upgrade makes it even more impressive. La Mer's 'The Treatment Lotion' was also renewed this year. La Mer is famous for its secret 'Miracle Broth,' and this version uses a 'Double Ferment' technology, incorporating a double-fermented Mineral Broth. This is said to enhance oxygen delivery to skin cells, boosting metabolism and cell turnover. On top of the Miracle Broth's usual texture- and firmness-enhancing effects, it's also said to have anti-inflammatory benefits. The texture is rich yet melts into skin beautifully — very much a department-store-quality experience. That's already a lot just for lotions! Which one catches your interest? Please let me know in the comments. Now for serums — I narrowed it down to three after a lot of agonizing: Lancôme's 'Rénergie H.C.F. Triple Serum,' Clé de Peau Beauté's 'Serum Éclat,' and Albion's 'Exia White Brightening Immaculate Serum.' Lancôme's Rénergie H.C.F. Triple Serum contains three ingredients: vitamin C, niacinamide, and ferulic acid. Rather than being mixed together beforehand, they combine only at the moment of use, preserving each ingredient's stability while offering multiple benefits — whitening, wrinkle care, and improved skin firmness, among others. A serum that does a lot in one step, and definitely hard to pass up. Clé de Peau Beauté's serum also got a major upgrade this year. This time it focuses on epigenetics, specifically the 'TYRP1 gene,' which is linked to skin translucency. UV exposure and aging can suppress this gene's activity, leading to dullness, shadowing, and uneven texture. To prevent this gene from being 'locked,' Shiseido developed a proprietary ingredient called 'C-Ferment Brightener,' combining a fermented Termonaz extract with glycerin. According to Shiseido, they're even aiming in the future not just to prevent suppression but to actively boost this gene's expression — which sounds very promising. The serum also contains a high concentration of Shiseido's proprietary whitening active ingredient '4MSK,' along with Lithospermum (shikon) root extract known for its anti-inflammatory properties. The combination of translucency and whitening through this epigenetic research is fascinating, making this another must-consider pick. Finally, Albion's 'Exia White Brightening Immaculate Serum.' It comes in individually packaged doses, and I personally go through a whole box every year — I love it that much. It already contains vitamin C and licorice-derived ingredients, with a rich, yogurt-like texture I really enjoy. This year, they upgraded their penetration technology through a collaboration with a biotech venture, allowing ingredients to reach deeper into the skin. I already feel like this is destined to be a all-time favorite, and I'm getting excited to start using it again soon. Out of these three serums, which one would you choose? As you can see, I'm really struggling to decide on my Best Cosmetics picks this year.
