【2025年最強下地】メイクするたびに肌がきれいになる！シミや毛穴をケアする下地を紹介

皆さんこんにちは、友利新です。今日はですね、サムネにもあるように、もうこれはすごいっていう下地4種類をご紹介したいと思います。 下地っていうと、メイクを綺麗に見せるサブ的な役目みたいな感じだったと思うんですけれども、今回ご紹介する4種類は、使ってる膜の技術がすごいんですね。どれも膜の技術で綺麗に肌を見せるっていうところもちろんなんですけど、膜の技術でお悩みまで解決をするように手助けをしてくれるっていうアイテムなんですよ。 シミができやすいとか、ベタつきやすい、毛穴とか目立つっていうような人は、今回ご紹介する下地っていうものに着目していただきたいなと思うので、ぜひぜひ最後までご覧ください。 では早速、今日どれを紹介するかというのを先にご紹介しておきたいと思います。 まず一つがこちら、キュレルのスキンケアプロテクトUV下地Aです。こういうパッケージなんですけども、ファンデーションの負担を防止するベースっていうものになります。 もう一つがソフィーナIPのスキンケアUVの03番になります。これ03番何かっていうと、シミを予防するUVで、シミができやすい人にはこの下地プラスUVを使ってくださいっていうようなものになっています。 そしてもう一つがですね、エストから出たジェリオロジープライマーMBLっていうふうな3種類あって、それぞれお悩み別になっている下地になっています。基本の構造の膜は一緒なんですけれども、配合されている成分の違いでこのMBLっていうものになっています。 最後がこちら、ルナソルのグロウデイセラムUV日焼け止め兼化粧下地というふうになっています。 キュレル最近こういう下地よく出すの結構多いですよね。去年も不快な接触を抑えるっていうサラサラにする下地っていうのも出ましたよね。今回はサラサラにする下地とはまたちょっと違って、ファンデーションの負担をなくすっていう下地で、最初はうっと思ったんですけど、すごくよく考えられている下地だなというふうに思います。 敏感肌の人だけじゃないと思うんですけれども、ファンデーションを塗った時に下地と混ざり合っちゃうことで、なんとなくファンデーションのムラみたいなものができちゃったりすることってありませんか。せっかく綺麗な下地を塗ってるんだけれども、上からファンデーションを塗っちゃって、逆に塗らなければよかったなぁみたいになっちゃうこととか。 そもそも敏感肌の人っていうのは、ファンデーション自体に何か刺激を感じる人がいるので、下地とファンデーションが混ざってしまうと、ファンデーションの刺激っていうのが肌に行く。なので下地は下地、ファンデーションはファンデーションっていう感じで混ざらないようにできないかって考えたのが、今回のキュレルのスキンケアプロテクトUV下地になっています。 そもそも一般的な下地ってどういうふうになっているかというと、水分の中に油が浮いているような状態になります。お肌の中に伸び広げるときに、お水の中で油と粉がちょっとくっついて塗り広げられていくんですね。塗った後にこのお水の部分だけが蒸発してなくなるので、この油の部分が膜を張って下地を形成するというような感じのが、一般的な下地の成り立ちになっています。 ただ油っていうのは何か柔らかいじゃないですか。油滴ってフニャンフニャンって浮いてますよね。なのでこの柔らかい油滴っていうのは、塗り広げるときに一緒になって柔らかく広がっていくので、ムラになってしまうんですよ。なので厚いところと薄いところっていう風にムラになってしまうというのが、今までの難点になります。 あと水分が蒸発していった時に、油分が多いところはちゃんと膜を張るんだけれども、油分が少ないところっていうのは薄くなっちゃうので、そういったムラっていうのも生まれてきてしまうっていうのが難点なんですね。なのでファンデーションが入ってきた時には、柔らかい油とファンデーションが一緒になるっていう難点もあります。 それを変えるためにどうしたらいいかって言って考えたキュレルさんは、油を固くすればいいんじゃないかということを考えたんですね。でも固くしすぎちゃうと重いテクスチャーになっちゃうので、絶妙なバランスを何度も何度も考えたらしくて、ちゃんと水の中に油がちゃんと浮いている状態なんだけれども、塗り広げた時にはある程度硬さがあるので、まずムラにならない。ムラにならないしプラスアルファ硬さがあるので、次のファンデーションが来た時に一緒にならない。ちゃんとオイルがあって、その上にきちっとファンデーションが来るような構造が取れるような油材を使っているっていうところになります。 毛穴の中がちょっと低下しボコボコしているところにも、ちゃんと膜を形成してくれるんですね。このちゃんと膜を形成しているところに、もちろんキュレルですからセラミドケアもできるので、疑似セラミドも入って、その上にちゃんとちょっと固めの油分で膜を張って、そこからちゃんとファンデーションが来るのでファンデーションと混じらない。保湿のケアもしつつ、ちゃんと肌も綺麗にフラットに見せてくれるっていう、まさに敏感肌の人のため、プラスアルファ肌に負担をかけたくない人のための下地になっています。 あとすっごい細かいパールも入っているんですよ。毛穴をぼかしたりとか赤みとかもぼかすような効果があるんだと思います。肌に乗せるとちょっとだけピンクみのあるパールが入っています。なのでこれを混ぜると伸び広がっていって、こっちが塗ったところ、こっちは塗ってないところになります。パールがあることで毛穴の粗さっていうのをぼかしてくれるかなというイメージになります。 なのでこれはもう本当に敏感肌の人だとか乾燥肌の人にはいいと思うんですね。私みたいにちょっと脂性肌の人は油剤が膜を貼るのでどうかなとは思うんですが、今の時期だったら全然大丈夫かなと思います。乾燥肌だとかファンデーションがピリつくとかっていう方には、ぜひぜひ手に取ってもらいたいかなと思います。 次がですねこちら、ソフィーナIPのスキンケアUV03、肌環境で選ぶスキンケアUVの下地兼UVなんですが、これもめちゃめちゃ面白い膜を貼る技術になっています。 もともとこの下地兼UVの考え方っていうのは、シミができやすい人っていうのは紫外線をすごく浴びるっていうのと、浴びた後に炎症をすごく起こしてしまうので、それによってシミができる。だからシミができやすい人っていうのは、もともと紫外線をちゃんとブロックする上に、シミを作ってくださいっていう指令をカットすればいいっていう考え方なんですね。 なのでしっかりとした膜を貼って、できるだけ紫外線吸収剤と散乱剤で隙間なく紫外線をカットして、あと有効成分であるカモミラETですね。カモミラETっていうのは紫外線が当たった時に一番最初に出る「紫外線きましたよー」っていう指令があるんですけど、それを抑えてくれるっていうところがあるので、まさにシミができやすい人で紫外線がよく当たる人というのはぴったりな成分なので、それを入れているっていうところでシミを予防するUVなんですけれども、隙間なく紫外線吸収剤と散乱剤を並ばせるっていうのは膜の技術になっています。 高いUV効果を出すためには、紫外線吸収剤と紫外線散乱剤をしっかり混ぜなくちゃいけないんですね。だいたい紫外線吸収剤っていうのは油に溶かせなきゃいけないので、散乱剤を一緒にする時、界面活性剤を入れなくちゃいけない。界面活性剤を入れるとちょっとベトついたりとか、それでも界面活性剤を入れて油とお水を混ぜるっていう時には、どうしてもこのお水が蒸発してしまって隙間が出てきてしまう。じゃあどうしたらこの隙間をなくすかっていうところを花王さんが考えた時に、すごい技術をこれには応用しています。 それがピッカリングエマルジョンというものなんですね。ピッカリングエマルジョンっていうのは、元々花王さんではなくて昔からある乳化の方法で、今までは界面活性剤を使って水と油を混ぜてたんですが、このピッカリング乳化法っていうのは、シリカとかそういう特定の粉を使って乳化をするという技術になるんですね。油、お水、界面活性剤じゃなくて、お水、油、粉なので隙間なく吸着することができるんですよ。紫外線散乱剤も粉じゃないですか。粉と粉なのでよく混ざるし、その粉を使って紫外線吸収剤が入っている油ともしっかりくっつくので、今までの界面活性剤で散乱剤と吸収剤をくっつけていたものが、さらに隙間なくくっつくっていうような驚きの乳化法を使ってるんですよ。 膜が綺麗に貼っているので、いつもの下地だったりとか日焼け止めよりもちゃんと焼かないようにするし、さっき言ったみたいにカモミラETが一番最初の指令をカットしてくれるっていうところになるので、まさにシミを作りたくない人、あとシミができやすい人にはぴったりなUV下地になっています。 これもですね結構ね、自然にトーンアップしてくれるんですよ。ピンクっていうわけじゃなくて、これはもう結構白です。なのであの、さっきのキュレルみたいにピンクでトーンアップするっていう感じではないんですね。 乳化剤というか界面活性剤を使ってないので、ベタつきが本当にびっくりするほどないです。結構ね界面活性剤ってベタつくんですよ。でもこれ全然ベタつかなくて、むしろその粉っぽいものになるのかなと思ったんですけど、粉感もないですね。なのでいい感じでベタつきも粉感もない。本当に膜張ってるっていうのはわかります。ちゃんと隙間なく膜が張られているなっていう感じはあるんですけれども、全然ベタつきない。夏にはめちゃくちゃいいですねこれ。すごくいいと思います。 そこまでトーンアップっていう感じじゃないんですけれども、どちらかというとベタつきをなくして、紫外線から肌をしっかり守っていくっていうようなイメージです。もっとベタベタしないから驚きますね、この感触。 続いてはエストになります。これどういう人にかっていうと、私たちぐらいのお姉さん世代に向けた下地だっていう風に思っていただければと思います。乾燥とかももちろん皆さんすると思うんですけど、一番嫌なのって皮膚が柔らかすぎてというか、表情を作った時の刺激感というか。通常だったら笑った後ってシワが残りにくいじゃないですか、若い人って。だけれども私たちの肌って弾力が少なくなってきてるから、笑ったりしたらこのほうれい線がですね、くっきりとファンデーションのところに残っちゃうんですよね。 これって何かっていうと、弾力がなくなってくるから。しなやかなお肌って弾力があると、圧がかかってもちゃんとしなやかに戻るじゃないですか。ちょっと私たちって柔らかくなりすぎてダランってなるから、圧がかかるとこのままドローンと倒れちゃっているような感じになるので、笑った時のこういったところにシワが残ったりとか、笑った時にこのほうれい線のところにファンデーションが溜まったりとか。これって若い人ではなかなかなくって、大人の階段を登った人には出てくるような悩みなんですね。 この悩みをどうにかできないかっていうふうに考えてできたのが、このエストのジェリオロジープライマーシリーズになっています。考え方はですね、クラゲです。クラゲってヒアルロン酸とかも一応入ってるんです。生体高分子というものになるんですね。水分も逃がさないし、圧がグッとかかってもちゃんとプルンと跳ね返すような構造を持っているものになります。その生体高分子っていうのをいくつか組み合わせて下地に入れていったということになります。 通常だったらこれ、スキンケアではよくやるんですよ。例えばパックとか。でも下地っていうのは今までの考え方だと、薄くしてピタッと密着させるっていうところじゃないですか。でも今回のこのエストは、プルプルの厚膜を下地に応用したという感じなんですね。プルプル感がちゃんとあるから、私たちの大人の肌にそれが乗った時に、圧を吸収して逃がしてくれるので、笑った時にこういったところに溝ができないとか、笑った時に目の下に溝ができないとか、そういったところをしてくれる。プラスクラゲのようにパックをかけてくれるような感じになるので、乾燥感もなくしていくっていうようなものになります。 それが3つどちらにも入ってるんですけれども、大人ってそれだけじゃないじゃないですか悩みが。そもそもこの緩くなった肌にプルプルのベールをかけて衝撃を逃してあげる、そして乾燥感を少なくするっていうことをベースにして、より肌質に合ったものを作っています。 まずこれがエストジェリオロジープライマーM。これは、より乾燥肌よりの人に向けてのものになります。膜は一緒ですよ、さっきのクラゲの発想から来ている膜は一緒なんですけれども、そこにオランダガラシエキスっていう水分の循環を良くするような成分も入れています。一番これが膜が厚いそうです。ベタベタするわけじゃないんですよ。一番乾燥を感じる方にはこれがいいっていうふうに言われました。 これだけでしっかりとなんかファンデーションな感覚。でも厚い膜って言われてもそこまでは感じないんですけれども、確かにうるうるっとするような感じです。ベタつきがないわけではないんですけれども、しっとりとしたいい感じの保湿効果っていうのはわかりますね。これが一番乾燥感を感じる人。美容液成分もそうだし、一番このクラゲ膜っていうのも厚いっていうふうに聞いています。 次のこちらですね、エストジェリオロジープライマーB。これがシミとか色ムラっていうものを目立たなくするような、そういったものが一番気になる方に使ってほしい下地になっています。クラゲの膜の中に紫外線吸収剤をしっかり入れてるんですね。実はこれが一番SPFも高いです。MがですねSPF17なんですね。でもBっていうのは50。ちなみに次紹介するLも17なので、一番下地兼日焼け止めっていうふうにしたいのはこのBになっています。 酸化亜鉛がしっかり入っていて、酸化亜鉛自体が皮脂の吸着っていうところもできるので、紫外線防止効果とこの皮脂でのこの色ムラっていうものをなくすような感じ。ちなみに私はこれが一番あっていて、今日もこれを使ってメイクをしてます。私は皮脂が多いのでこういったところだったり、あと笑った後にここにくっきりと表情ジワの跡がつくのが嫌だったし、目の下っていうのに跡がつくのが嫌なんですけれども、さっき言ったクラゲの膜っていうのがここにちょっと貼ってくれるようなイメージ。 全体的にこういう感じで塗ったんですけれども、笑った時にもちろんここにねシワ感というかできるんですけど、笑って普通の表情になった時に、通常だったらファンデーションが割れるんですよ。でもあんまり割れてないような感じがずっとしてます。なので私は一番このプライマーのBの方を使ってるんですけども、密着っていうイメージはこちらが一番高いのかなというふうに思います。あと紫外線防御効果も高いので、日焼け止めを塗ってそれの上からちょっと気になる部分に重ね付けしても、苦にならないプライマーかなというふうに思います。 もう一つがこちら、ジェリオロジープライマーLなんですが、これパール感が入ってるような感じになります。パール感で張りがなくなった毛穴を光で飛ばしていくっていう感じ。なので皮脂を吸着っていうのはBの方がいいんですけれども、パール感でたるんだ毛穴をメイク効果として目立たなくするっていうような感じになっています。 あんまりね色は変わらないかなとは思うんですけど、確かにパール感がちょっと入っているので、こんな感じ光を操って飛ばしていくっていうイメージになります。私はどちらかというと皮脂を吸着したいのでB使ってるんですけれども、皮脂が気になりはしないんだけれども、たるみ毛穴が気になっているっていう人は、この辺につけても全然問題ないんじゃないかなというふうに思います。 とにかくこのクラゲ膜が保湿もしっかりするんだけれども、大人の表情とかを作った後にシワ感になってしまうっていうのを逃がしてくれるっていう密着下地だなと思うので、そういったことが気になる人はチェックしていただければいいかなというふうに思います。 最後はこちら、ルナソルのグロウデイセラムUVです。ルナソルっていうとメイクのイメージが高いじゃないですか。でもいろんな美容業界の方と喋っていると、日焼け止めプラス化粧下地としては、今回ルナソルめちゃくちゃ良くないっていう話を…結構巷では話題になっているルナソルのグロウデイセラムなんですね。 一昨年だったかな、黒カネボウのベイルオブデイっていうラメラ構造を取ったUVっていうのがすごいバズったの覚えてません?日焼け止めっていうのはお水の中に油があって、それが肌に塗るような感じになるので、お水のところがなくなるとムラになりますよっていうのがあったんですが、ラメラ構造を作るUV膜の中に日焼け止めを入れることができるので、お水が蒸発しにくい。だからこそムラにならないし、お水をラメラ構造が抱えるようにするので、乾燥しにくい日焼け止めですよっていうので、めちゃくちゃ爆発的に売れたベイルオブデイっていうのがあるんですが。 ラメラ構造を取ってるっていうのは一緒です。ただ多分ちょっとこっちの方が少し進化して、ラメラの膜がちょっと厚いんだと思うんですよね。より水分をしっかりと蓄えてくれるようなイメージです。なので肌の上にもう1枚角層を載せてあげるようなイメージ。なので日焼け止め感覚全然ないんですよ。 お水のところには紫外線散乱剤、油のところに紫外線吸収剤をちゃんと何層にも入れることができるので、お水がちょっと蒸発したとて、ラメラなのでその吸収剤も散乱剤もちゃんと膜を張ってくれるんですよ。このラメラの膜っていうのは本当に素晴らしいんですね。でも今までだったらそのラメラの膜にトーンアップをするっていうものを入れられなかったんですよ。なぜかっていうと、それを入れるとパール感が凝集といって固まってしまって、逆になんかムラっぽくなってしまうから、ラメラが出たベイルオブデイの時には、そこにパール感が入れられなかった。 でも今回のルナソルにはそのパールが入れられるようになったんですよ。なので今までのベイルオブデイの気持ち良さに、プラスアルファはメイクを綺麗に整えてくれるっていうところまでも入ってるんですね。この下地本当に水なんですかこれっていうようなみずみずしさはあります。すっごい綺麗じゃない? 多分ベイルオブデイが好きなんだけど、トーンアップとかファンデーションとの相性っていうんですかね、そういったものがまだちょっと物足りないなっていう人には、かなりルナソルのグロウデイセラムは素晴らしいと思います。肌自体が乾燥しているとファンデーションも乗りにくいんだけど、それをラメラ構造でちゃんと整えてあげる。プラスアルファはパールが入っていることによって、光がちゃんと毛穴だったりとか色ムラをぼかしてくれて、それで肌自体をほんのりトーンアップさせる。そこにファンデーションをのせたら最強みたいなイメージですね。 メイクを楽しみたい、プラスアルファは乾燥もしたくない、ちゃんと日焼け止めもしたいっていう人には、最強の下地なんじゃないかなというふうに思います。 Hello everyone, this is Arata Tomori. Today, as shown in the thumbnail, I want to introduce four amazing primers. When you think of a primer, it used to feel like a supporting role to make your makeup look nicer, but the four products I'm introducing today use incredible film-forming technology. Not only do they make your skin look beautiful through this film technology, but they're also items that help solve your skin concerns. If you're someone who gets spots easily, tends to get greasy, or has noticeable pores, I'd like you to pay attention to the primers I'm introducing today, so please watch until the end. Let me first introduce which products I'll be covering today. The first one is Curél's Skin Care Protect UV Base A. This is packaged like this, and it's a base that prevents the burden of foundation. The second one is Sofina iP's Skin Care UV, number 03. What does 03 mean? It's a UV that prevents spots, so for people who get spots easily, it's something you should use as this base plus UV. And another one is Est's Geo Reset Primer, which comes in three types, MBL, each designed for different concerns. The basic film structure is the same, but the difference in blended ingredients creates these MBL variations. The last one is Lunasol's Glow Day Serum UV, which serves as both sunscreen and makeup base. Curél has been releasing a lot of these kinds of bases lately, right? Last year they also released a smooth-feel base that suppresses uncomfortable friction. This time it's a bit different from the smooth-feel base—it's a base that eliminates the burden of foundation. At first I was a bit confused, but I think it's a really well-thought-out base. I think it's not just sensitive skin people, but haven't you experienced foundation becoming uneven because it mixes with the base when you apply it? You've applied a nice base, but then when you put foundation on top, it ends up looking worse than if you hadn't applied the base at all. In the first place, sensitive skin people often feel some irritation from foundation itself, so if the base and foundation mix together, the irritation from the foundation reaches the skin. So the idea was: can we keep the base as base and the foundation as foundation, so they don't mix? That's what led to this Curél Skin Care Protect UV Base. So how does a typical base work in the first place? It's in a state where oil is floating in water. When you spread it on your skin, the oil and powder stick together a bit in the water and get spread around. After application, only the water part evaporates and disappears, so the oil part forms a film and creates the base—that's generally how a typical base comes together. But oil is kind of soft, right? Oil droplets float around all squishy. So this soft oil droplet spreads together softly when you apply it, which causes unevenness. So it becomes uneven with thick spots and thin spots—that's been the drawback until now. Also, when the water evaporates, areas with more oil form a proper film, but areas with less oil become thin, which also creates this kind of unevenness—that's the drawback. So when foundation comes in, there's also the drawback that the soft oil and foundation become one. To change that, Curél thought about what to do, and came up with the idea of making the oil harder. But if you make it too hard, it becomes a heavy texture, so they apparently thought about the perfect balance over and over again. The oil properly floats in the water, but when spread, it has a certain hardness, so first, it doesn't become uneven. Not only does it not become uneven, but because of the added hardness, when the next foundation comes, it doesn't mix together. There's properly oil, and on top of that, foundation comes in a structured way—that's the kind of oil material they're using. Even in areas where pores are a bit sunken and bumpy, it properly forms a film. On top of this properly formed film, of course, since it's Curél, ceramide care is also possible, so pseudo-ceramide is included, and on top of that, a slightly harder oil forms a film, and foundation comes on top of that without mixing. While providing moisturizing care, it also makes the skin look beautifully flat—truly a base for sensitive skin people, plus for people who don't want to burden their skin. Also, it contains extremely fine pearl particles. I think these have the effect of blurring pores and redness. When applied to the skin, there's a slightly pink-tinted pearl included. So when you mix this and spread it out, this is where it's applied, and this is where it's not applied. Having pearl gives the image of blurring the roughness of pores. So I think this is really good for sensitive skin or dry skin people. For someone like me with slightly oily skin, I wonder how it'll be since the oil agent forms a film, but I think it'll be totally fine in this season. For people with dry skin or those whose skin stings from foundation, I'd really like you to try this out. Next is this one, Sofina iP's Skin Care UV 03, a base-and-UV chosen based on skin environment, and this also has really interesting film-forming technology. Originally, the concept behind this base-and-UV is that people who get spots easily are exposed to a lot of UV rays, and after exposure, they tend to develop inflammation easily, which causes spots. So the idea is that for people prone to spots, in addition to properly blocking UV rays, you should cut off the signal that tells the skin to "make spots." So they form a solid film and block UV rays without gaps using UV absorbers and scattering agents as much as possible, plus there's the active ingredient Camomile ET. Camomile ET suppresses the very first signal that says "UV rays have arrived!" when UV hits the skin. So it's a perfect ingredient for people who get spots easily and are frequently exposed to UV rays—that's why it's included in this spot-preventing UV. The technology of lining up UV absorbers and scattering agents without gaps is the film technology here. To achieve high UV effectiveness, you need to properly mix UV absorbers and UV scattering agents. UV absorbers generally need to be dissolved in oil, so when combining with scattering agents, you need to add a surfactant. Adding a surfactant can make things a bit sticky, and even so, when mixing oil and water with a surfactant, the water inevitably evaporates and gaps form. So Kao thought about how to eliminate these gaps, and applied an amazing technology here. That's called Pickering emulsion. Pickering emulsion isn't originally from Kao—it's actually an old emulsification method. Until now, surfactants were used to mix water and oil, but this Pickering emulsification method uses specific powders like silica to emulsify. It's not oil-water-surfactant, but water-oil-powder, so it can adhere without gaps. UV scattering agents are also powder, right? Powder and powder mix well together, and using that powder, it also sticks firmly with the oil containing UV absorbers. So what used to be connected by surfactants between scattering agents and absorbers now sticks together even more tightly without gaps—it's an amazing emulsification method. Because the film forms so beautifully, it prevents tanning better than usual bases or sunscreens, and as I mentioned, Camomile ET cuts off that very first signal—so it's truly a perfect UV base for people who don't want to create spots, and those who get spots easily. This one also naturally brightens the tone quite well. It's not pink—it's actually quite white. So unlike the Curél one that brightens with pink, this is different. Since it doesn't use an emulsifier or surfactant, the lack of stickiness is truly surprising. Surfactants tend to be sticky, right? But this isn't sticky at all—I thought it might feel powdery instead, but there's no powdery feel either. So it has this nice balance of no stickiness and no powdery feel. You can really tell that a film is forming. It feels like the film is properly formed without gaps, yet there's no stickiness at all. This would be amazing for summer! I think it's really great. It's not so much about brightening the tone, but rather about eliminating stickiness while properly protecting the skin from UV rays. It's surprising how much less sticky this feels. Next is Est. Who is this for? Think of it as a base designed for our generation of "older sisters." Of course everyone experiences dryness, but what's most unpleasant is that the skin becomes too soft, or rather, there's this irritating sensation when making facial expressions. Normally, when young people smile, the wrinkles don't remain, right? But as our skin's elasticity decreases, when we smile, these nasolabial folds remain distinctly visible in the foundation. What is this exactly? It's because elasticity decreases. Supple skin with elasticity properly bounces back even when pressure is applied, right? We become too soft and kind of droop, so when pressure is applied, it's like it just collapses forward. So wrinkles remain in areas like this when we smile, or foundation accumulates in the nasolabial fold area when we smile. This isn't really something young people experience—it's a concern that emerges for those who've climbed the stairs of adulthood. Thinking about how to address this concern led to the creation of Est's Geo Reset Primer series. The concept is jellyfish. Jellyfish actually contain things like hyaluronic acid too—they're what's called biopolymers. They have a structure that doesn't let go of moisture and properly bounces back plumply even when pressure is suddenly applied. They combined several of these biopolymers and incorporated them into the base. Normally, this is something often done in skincare—like with packs, for example. But the conventional approach to a base has been to make it thin and adhere it tightly, right? But this Est product applies a plump, thick film to the base—that's the concept. Because there's this proper plumpness, when it's applied to our adult skin, it absorbs and releases pressure. So it prevents grooves from forming in places like here when we smile, or under the eyes when we smile. Plus, it's like giving a jellyfish-style pack, so it also eliminates dryness. That's common to all three types, but adults have more concerns than just that, right? Based on giving this loosened skin a plump veil to release impact and reducing dryness, they've created products more suited to different skin types. First is Est Geo Reset Primer M, which is for people more prone to dryness. The film is the same—it comes from that jellyfish concept I mentioned—but they've also added Dutch watercress extract, which improves moisture circulation. This apparently has the thickest film. It's not sticky at all. This is said to be best for people who feel the driest. Just this alone gives a solid, foundation-like sensation. But even though they say it's a thick film, you don't feel that much, though it does have a certain dewy quality. It's not that there's no stickiness at all, but you can tell there's a nice, moisturizing effect. This is for people who feel the driest. The serum ingredients are also rich, and I've heard this jellyfish film is the thickest. Next is this one, Est Geo Reset Primer B. This is a base recommended for people most concerned about things like spots or uneven skin tone. UV absorbers are firmly incorporated into the jellyfish film. Actually, this one has the highest SPF. M is SPF17, but B is 50. By the way, L, which I'll introduce next, is also 17, so this B is meant to be the ultimate base-plus-sunscreen combination. Zinc oxide is properly included, and zinc oxide itself can absorb sebum, so it combines UV protection with eliminating the uneven tone caused by sebum. By the way, this one suits me the best, and I'm actually wearing this for my makeup today. Since I have a lot of sebum, I don't like when expression lines become distinctly visible here after smiling, or marks forming under my eyes, but that jellyfish film I mentioned seems to adhere here a bit. I applied it like this overall, and of course when I smile, there's some wrinkle-like feeling here, but when I return to a normal expression after smiling, normally the foundation would crack. But it feels like it hasn't cracked much at all. So I use this Primer B the most, and I think this one gives the strongest sense of adherence. Also, since the UV protection is high, even if you apply sunscreen and layer this on top for areas you're concerned about, I think it wouldn't be a burden as a primer. Another one is this, Geo Reset Primer L, which has a pearl-like quality. It's like using light to blur out pores that have lost firmness. So for sebum absorption, B is better, but for using makeup effects to make sagging pores less noticeable through pearl shimmer, this is the one. I don't think the color changes much, but you can definitely tell there's a bit of pearl included, giving this image of manipulating light to blur things out. I personally use B since I want sebum absorption, but for people who aren't so concerned about sebum but are concerned about sagging pores, I think this would work totally fine. Anyway, this jellyfish film properly moisturizes, but I think it's an adhesive base that releases the tension that would otherwise become wrinkle-like after making adult facial expressions, so if that's a concern for you, I think it's worth checking out. The last one is this, Lunasol's Glow Day Serum UV. Lunasol has a strong makeup image, right? But talking with various people in the beauty industry, I've heard talk that as a sunscreen-plus-makeup-base, this Lunasol is incredibly good this time—it's become quite a topic of conversation, this Lunasol Glow Day Serum. Do you remember, maybe the year before last, Kanebo's black-packaged Veil of Day, a UV product with a lamellar structure, went hugely viral? Sunscreen normally has oil floating in water, and it's applied to the skin like that, so when the water part disappears, it becomes uneven. But because you can incorporate sunscreen into a UV film that forms a lamellar structure, the water doesn't evaporate easily, so it doesn't become uneven, and because the lamellar structure holds onto the water, it's a sunscreen that doesn't dry out easily—that's why Veil of Day sold explosively well. Having a lamellar structure is the same here. But I think this one has evolved a bit further, with a slightly thicker lamellar film. It gives the image of retaining moisture even more firmly. So it's like adding another layer of stratum corneum on top of the skin. So you don't feel like you're wearing sunscreen at all. In the water part, there's UV scattering agent, and in the oil part, UV absorbers can be layered in multiple layers, so even if the water evaporates a bit, because it's lamellar, both the absorber and scattering agent properly form a film. This lamellar film is truly wonderful. But until now, you couldn't incorporate tone-up elements into that lamellar film. Why? Because if you add it, the pearl particles aggregate and clump together, which conversely creates unevenness—so in Veil of Day, which had that lamellar structure, they couldn't include pearl. But this time, Lunasol has made it possible to include that pearl. So on top of the comfortable feeling of the previous Veil of Day, it now also includes the ability to beautifully set makeup. This base has such a watery freshness that you wonder if it's really water. Isn't it incredibly beautiful? For people who probably like Veil of Day but feel that the tone-up effect or compatibility with foundation was a bit lacking, I think Lunasol's Glow Day Serum would be quite wonderful. When the skin itself is dry, foundation doesn't apply well, but this properly conditions it through the lamellar structure. Plus, because pearl is included, light properly blurs out pores and uneven tone, gently brightening the skin tone itself. Then when you put foundation on top of that, it's like the ultimate combination. For people who want to enjoy makeup, plus don't want dryness, and properly want sunscreen too, I think this is the ultimate base. Having talked this far, some of you may have already noticed—Curél is by Kao. Sofina iP is by Kao. Est is also by Kao. Lunasol is by the Kanebo Group. But the Kanebo Group is part of the Kao Group. I'm not particularly pushing the Kao Group, but when I gathered products where I felt the film technology was amazing, they all happened to be from the Kao Group. Each cosmetics company does have its own areas of expertise, but the Kao Group in particular is truly amazing when it comes to this film technology. So when I looked at several of these—what's different between the film in Curél and the film in Sofina iP, or what's different between Est and Curél—when you look at everything, they all say "film," but the film technology is completely different each time. They're developing films tailored to match specific concerns. Actually, I think it's truly amazing how researchers prescribe and develop films that match everyone's individual concerns one by one. I think a base product is the easiest way to understand how researching films can address various concerns. So instead of thinking "oh, it's the same film," think about which concern you have and which film-based product would suit you best, and try comparing them. Also, something I do quite often—I myself don't get that dry, but when I want to make my foundation application look beautiful, I apply Lunasol overall, and apply Est's Geo Reset Primer only to the nasolabial fold and under-eye areas. Since bases can be used partially, rather than applying overall, I think it's good to try switching bases for areas you're specifically concerned about. So please, everyone, try finding a base with a film technology that matches your concerns.
