After my previous video on drugstore options, I received a lot of requests for a high-end version, so I'm going to introduce the three depaco eye creams I personally use and love. The theme of Génifique is fermentation, and the star ingredient is a fermented extract. You might think fermentation sounds very Japanese, not French, but Lancôme actually conducts research on traditional Japanese ingredients and develops many products specifically formulated for Asian women's skin. This eye cream contains three fermentation-derived ingredients: Bifidus (Lactobacillus) ferment extract, yeast ferment extract, and lactic acid bacteria ferment extract. These are not the same as what you'd find in yogurt — they are specialized extracts developed by Lancôme through extensive research into their effects on skin. • Bifidus ferment extract: Shown to help reduce skin inflammation. Because the delicate eye area is prone to micro-inflammation from UV exposure and eye makeup, this ingredient can help improve dark circles caused by pigmentation (so-called "brown circles"). • Lactic acid bacteria ferment extract: Helps strengthen the skin's barrier function. Episteme is known for collaborating with clinics, researching stem cells, and embracing cutting-edge technology — it's a brand I always look forward to hearing from. The theme of this eye cream is muscle. The star ingredient is the Synergy Lift Complex, a blend of botanical extracts that targets the muscles around the eye. The eye is surrounded by the orbicularis oculi muscle, which helps prevent sagging around the eyes. When this muscle weakens and atrophies, it can cause puffiness under the eyes. The other key muscle is the Müller's muscle, which is responsible for lifting the eyelid. Rohto reportedly identified the active ingredient in this product while investigating why a certain eye drop caused the eyes to appear visibly more open — a fascinating origin story. • Synergy Lift Complex (containing wood resin extract, etc.): Shown to help inhibit the atrophy of the orbicularis oculi muscle. • Powerize Eye Complex (containing Acer palmatum [Japanese maple] extract, etc.): Helps prevent the elongation of Müller's muscle and promotes its contraction, resulting in a more open, wide-eyed appearance. This eye cream is ideal for those concerned about sagging skin around the eyes or who feel their eyelids have become heavier or droopier over time. 【Recommendation #3】Clinique Moisture Surge 96-Hour Hydro-Filler Eye Concentrate The concept of this eye cream is improving moisture circulation. The key ingredients are a combination of aloe vera extract and caffeine.
