皆さんこんにちは、内科皮膚科の友利新です。 今日は美容業界で話題沸騰中の商品をご紹介します。なぜ話題沸騰中かというと、本当によく言いますが、クレンジングは基本の基。そのクレンジング剤の常識を覆すようなクレンジング剤が2種類ありますので、ぜひ最後までご覧ください。 では1つ目、こちらです。オルビスのオフクリームになります。クリーム、わかるかな？こういう感じのクリームタイプのクレンジング剤になっています。 以前私がクレンジングの正しいやり方という動画を上げましたよね。皆さん見ていただけましたか？その時に私、クレンジングオイルを使っていましたよね。それはやはり、クレンジングというのは基本的にメイクの濃さによって変えてほしいというのが私の考え方です。 クレンジングの洗浄成分の強さからいくと、やっぱりオイル、そしてその次にバーム、ジェルとかミルク、最後にクリームなんですよ。なので乾燥肌の人はよくオイルクレンジングを使わない方がいいと言われるんですが、結局私がなぜオイルクレンジングを使っていたかというと、それは肌をゴシゴシしなくても落とせるからなんですね。 そもそもクレンジングというのは、オイル（油）、そして界面活性剤（洗浄剤）、それとお水でできているんですよ。メイクというのは油で基本できていますので、油は油で浮いてくるんですよ。でも油って水と混ざらないじゃないですか。水と混ざらないからこそ界面活性剤といって水と油を混ぜる洗浄成分を入れることによって、油で浮かせたメイクを溶かして落とすというのがクレンジングの基本なんですね。 その中でいうとオイルクレンジングというのは水が入ってなくて、オイルと界面活性剤だけなので、お水をちょっと入れて乳化させれば、そのままクレンジング剤の中に入っている界面活性剤が、つけたお水の中に余分なメイク（油）を浮き出させて取れていくということなんです。なので、クレンジングの回でゴシゴシしないで乳化をさせてそのまま落としてくださいと言いましたよね。 ゴシゴシをしないためにクレンジングオイルを使って乳化をさせて落とすということをしたんですけれども、この乳化をするというのは、実はクレンジングオイルだけのことになります。なので、摩擦をしないでしっかりメイクを落とすというのは、どうしてもクレンジングオイルじゃないと難しかったんですよ。 じゃあ、その他のクレンジング剤ってどうなっているかというと、すみません、私の拙い図なんですが、ちょっとご覧ください。 クレンジングクリームとか油系のジェルとかであるんですけれども、だいたい手に取った時、普通にこうやってクレンジングの状態である場合っていうのは、油が界面活性剤の膜の中に入っていて、それがお水の中に溶け込んでいるという感じなんですよ。だから、油滴があって、お水の中に油滴がある。その油滴の周りが界面活性剤でできているという感じなんですね。 それが肌に乗せた瞬間に、この界面活性剤の界面と呼ばれる面がポンと弾けます。そうすると、油と水が逆転をして、お肌に今まで界面活性剤の中に入っていた油が出ていきます。逆に界面の中にお水が入っていくようなこと。これを転相というのが起こるんですよ。今度は水で洗い流す時には逆になって、すすぎの時に水が加わることで、また水と油が逆転して、水で洗い流していくということが起こってくる。これがクリームタイプとかジェルタイプとかミルクタイプで起こっているんですね。 肌に乗せた時に界面活性剤がポンと弾けるというのは、どうしても上から圧をかけたりとかちょっとクルクルしないと、界面活性剤の膜がポンと弾けて油が出てきてくれないんですよ。なのでどうしてもクレンジングクリームとかクレンジングミルクというのは、ちょっと乗せたらちょっとクルッとしないとさっき言った転相ということが起こらないんですね。 なので私はあまりクレンジングに慣れていない人はクレンジングオイルでクルクルということをしないで乳化だけをさせて落としてくださいというふうに前回の動画ではお話ししていたんですけれども、やっぱりクレンジングオイルというのは、しっかりメイクの時にやってほしい。なので私もしっかりメイクをしているときにああやってクレンジングオイルで乳化をさせて落としてますけれども、じゃあ今日とかみたいに本当にBBクリームと眉毛とかっていうときだけに、じゃあクレンジングオイルを使っているかというとそういうわけでもなくて、ただゴシゴシするのは嫌だなって思っていたときに出てくれたのがこのオルビスのオフクリームなんです。 ちょっと前置き長くなってごめんなさい。もちろんクリームタイプなのでさっきの図のようにお水の中に界面活性剤の膜があって油が入っているということはもう変わらないです。これはどうしてもクレンジングクリームの構造上そういうものなんですね。なのでお肌にのせたときにちょっと圧を加えてその界面の膜をパーンと破らなきゃいけないので転相ということをしなきゃいけないんですが、このオフクリームのすごいところはですね、実はこの界面の膜っていうのが結構例えて言うならば卵の殻のような感じの構造でいて、メイクって油が多ければ多いほど落ちやすいというか浮きやすいんですよ。 なんですけども界面のこの卵の殻みたいなものがちょっと硬いとですね、それに入れられる油の量っていうのは決まるじゃないですか。だっていっぱい入れたらパーンと弾けちゃうからなんですけれども、あとは卵の殻みたいにちょっと厚くなってしまうと転相も起こりづらくなるんですね。 この界面のこの膜をですね、卵の殻のような硬くて脆いっていうものではなくて、ゴム風船のように柔らかく弾力があるように開発したのがこのオフクリームになります。それをすると何がいいかって、やっぱりゴム風船なので膨らむことができるんですね。なので通常のクレンジングクリームよりもいっぱい油分を入れることができるので、お肌に乗せて、もちろん転相させなくちゃいけないのでちょっと圧は加えるんですけど、その時にぶわっと出てくる油の量が全く違います。 ということは、今までクレンジングクリームってなかなか落ちないからあんまり好きじゃないのよね。洗い上がりはつっぱり感はないけど、ちょっとメイクの落ちがいまいちなんだよねっていう方でも、オイルの量がですね、もう今までのクレンジングクリームとはもう格段に違いますので、乗せた時に、できればクルクルよりも押すような感じでしていただくと、ふっと手が軽くなる瞬間。これがまさに転相が起こった瞬間、油がポーンと出てきたような感じなんですね。 卵の殻からゴム風船のようにって言いましたけれども、それで油もいっぱい入っているんですけど、ある一定の圧をかけると、ポンと風船も割れるように、もちろん弾力はあって油同士がぶつかっても割れないのでいっぱい入れられるんですけれども、肌に乗せてある一定の圧を加えると、それがきちんと界面の膜が外れて、大量のオイル、油が出てくる。そしてメイクを浮かせてくれるっていうことになるんですね。 なのでゴシゴシもあんまりしなくていい。プラス、クレンジングオイルに負けないぐらいのオイルもたっぷり入っているので、クレンジング剤としてメイクを落とす機能も兼ね備えているっていうものになるんです。なので今までね、肌のためにはクレンジングクリームがいいと思っているんだけれども、メイクが落としにくいんだよっていう方。そして意外とクレンジングクリーム使ってたんだけれども、ゴシゴシしちゃいけないっていう時、どうやったらいいんだろうって悩んでいた方。その方にはぜひ一度お試ししていただきたいクレンジングクリームになります。 もう一つね、このオルビスさんってお値段も本当に財布に優しいんですね。あとこれ実は詰め替えもできるんですよ。なので詰め替えて使うこともできるので、これは今年の2月だったかな1月だったかに発売されたんですけど、私ももうリピートして2回目3回目ぐらいを頼んだところになっています。 なので今までね、ちょっと本当にクレンジングクリームってなんとなくおばさんというかちょっと年配の方が使うと思っていたっていう若い子でも乾燥肌の方。あとは今はね、マスクでちょっと肌荒れが起こっているっていう方。最近マスクなのでしっかりメイクはしないんだけれども、きちんと落としたい、優しく落としたいっていう方にはすごく注目していただきたいクレンジングになります。 そしてもう一つがこちら、シュウウエムラのアルティム8 スブリム ボーテ クレンジングオイル イン フォームになります。シュウウエムラさんっていうとクレンジングオイルっていうぐらいクレンジングにはすごく昔から有名ですよね。 これはなぜかというと、シュウウエムラさんっていうのは植村秀さんというメイクアップアーティストの方が作ったブランドです。メイクアップアーティストさんなので、きれいなメイクをするためには素肌がきれいでなくてはいけないっていうことを考えて、そこでクレンジングにすごく力を入れているブランドにそもそもなるんです。 有名なのはですね、私も使っているんですけれども、こちらですよね。この元となっているのがこのアルティム8 スブリム ボーテ クレンジングオイル。これ多分使っている方多いと思うんですよね。美容に詳しい方って多分一家に1本は必ずあるっていうぐらい、本当にクレンジングオイルの中でも使っているオイルがもう全然違うというか、ベースはとうもろこし胚芽油というものがベースに入っていて、そこに椿油とかが入っていて、プラス、界面活性剤も非イオン系の界面活性剤を使っているので、クレンジングオイルなんですけども、肌にすごく優しいし、オイルの配合が絶妙なので、洗った後のつっぱり感がないっていうのが、シュウウエムラさんのクレンジングオイルの特徴なんですね。 でもやっぱりクレンジングオイルじゃないですか。それをもちろんね、私の洗い方で乳化をさせて洗えば摩擦をしなくてもいいんですけど、実はそれをもっと摩擦をしないように、泡タイプにしたのがこちらなんです。 実はこれね、7月1日発売で、でもすごい待って、絶対出たら買おう買おうと思ってやっと買ったんですね。泡クレンジングって最近流行りなんですよ。なぜかというと、見てくださいね、こうやって、ほら、泡で出てきちゃうの。洗顔みたい。 なので、このまま放置していれば、この状態でメイクと混ざれば、何もゴシゴシしなくても、究極の話、ジャーッと洗い流せばメイクが落ちるような仕組みになっているんですよ。オイルの転相だったり、乳化もいらない。ただ、この泡を押す。こういうふうに押して、ちょっと馴染ませる。メイクとしっかり馴染ませれて、水でシャーッと流せば落ちるっていう摩擦がほぼいらないっていうようなクレンジングになるんです。 泡洗顔って結構最近よくあるんですけれども、なかなか落ちが悪いものだったり、逆に落ちるんだけれども、ちょっと後肌感が突っ張るっていうことが多かったんですね。それはやはり入っている界面活性剤の選び方だったり、あとは保湿剤が入れてあるかどうかだったりっていうものの問題なんですが、やっぱりこのシュウウエムラさんは、さっきお話ししたクレンジングオイルを踏襲しているので、このクレンジングオイルに入っている椿油だったり、とうもろこし胚芽油だったりっていうのもしっかりと入っているんですね。 あとはアミノ酸系なので泡立ちもいいし、お肌にも優しい洗浄剤になります。そこにやっぱりシュウウエムラさんの思いが入った椿油だったりだとか、とうもろこし胚芽油だったりっていう、しっかりとお肌にいい油分、オイルを入れているクレンジングフォーム、泡タイプのクレンジングって、私多分シュウウエムラさんが初めてなんじゃないかなと思います。 なので、もちろんクレンジングオイルと同じようなバッチリメイクでもしっかり落ちるような設計をされていますし、あとはアルティム8のクレンジングオイルと同じように、後肌もつっぱらずに泡タイプにありがちなつっぱり感というものがほとんどなく、ちゃんとオイルが膜を張ってくれるというか残してくれるので、クレンジングの後のつっぱり感が少ないというような画期的なクレンジング剤になります。 何度も言いますけれども、クレンジングっていうのはもちろん肌質も大事です。肌質別に乾燥肌の人はクリームタイプとかミルクタイプっていうのもいいんですけども、結局はメイクを落とさなくちゃいけないので、その日のメイクに合わせてください。そうじゃないと弱い洗浄力のものでゴシゴシやってくると逆に肌に悪くなります。 なので自分が乾燥肌でもしっかりメイクをしているときだったら摩擦をしないようにしっかり落とす、こういうふうなクレンジングフォームだったりクレンジングオイルだったり。そうじゃなくて、今日はいつもの出勤ぐらいのメイクだなっていうときにはクレンジングミルクとかこういうクレンジングクリーム、特にこのオルビスさんはクレンジングクリームの中でも落ちもいいですし、あとは肌感も本当にオイルがたっぷりさっき言ったように入っているので、そういった意味ではチョイスをしてみてください。 Hello everyone, I'm Arata Tomori, an internal medicine and dermatologist doctor. Today I want to introduce products that are currently causing a huge buzz in the beauty industry. Why are they causing such a buzz? Because, as I always say, cleansing is the foundation of skincare, and these two cleansing products completely overturn the conventional wisdom about cleansers, so please watch until the end. First, this one: ORBIS Off Cream. It's a cream-type cleanser, as you can see. I previously uploaded a video about the correct way to do cleansing. Did you all get to watch it? At that time, I was using a cleansing oil, right? My basic philosophy about cleansing is that you should change your cleanser according to how heavy your makeup is. In terms of cleansing strength, oil is the strongest, followed by balm, then gel or milk, and finally cream. So people with dry skin are often told not to use oil cleansers, but the reason I was using oil cleanser was that it lets you remove makeup without having to rub your skin harshly. Cleansers are basically made of oil, surfactant (cleansing agent), and water. Makeup is basically oil-based, so oil rises to the surface with oil. But oil doesn't mix with water, right? Because it doesn't mix with water, surfactants are added to combine water and oil, dissolving the makeup that has been lifted by oil and washing it away—this is the basic principle of cleansing. Oil cleansers don't contain water—they're just oil and surfactant. So when you add a little water to create an emulsion, the surfactant in the cleanser causes the water you've added to draw out the excess makeup (which is oil-based) and remove it. That's why in my cleansing video, I said to emulsify without rubbing and just wash it off that way. I used oil cleanser to emulsify without rubbing, but this emulsification process is actually unique to oil cleansers. So removing makeup thoroughly without friction was really difficult unless you used oil cleanser. So what about other types of cleansers? Let me show you my rough diagram. With cleansing creams or oil-based gels, when you take some in your hand in its normal cleanser state, the oil is enclosed within a surfactant membrane, which is dissolved in water. So there are oil droplets, and those oil droplets are in water, surrounded by surfactant. The moment this is applied to the skin, the surface of the surfactant—called the interface—pops. When that happens, the oil and water reverse positions: the oil that had been inside the surfactant is released onto the skin, while water moves into the interface instead. This is called phase inversion. Then, during rinsing, the reverse happens again—when water is added, the water and oil switch places once more, allowing everything to be washed away with water. This is what happens with cream, gel, and milk-type cleansers. For the surfactant to pop when applied to the skin, you generally need to apply pressure from above or rub it in circular motions somewhat—otherwise the surfactant membrane won't burst and release the oil. That's why cleansing creams and cleansing milks require you to rub them in a bit after applying, or the phase inversion I mentioned won't occur. So in my previous video, I told people who aren't used to cleansing to skip the rubbing with oil cleanser and just emulsify and wash off. But oil cleanser is really something I want people to use when they have heavy makeup on. So while I do use oil cleanser to emulsify and remove heavy makeup, on days like today when I'm just wearing BB cream and eyebrow makeup, I don't necessarily reach for oil cleanser—but I also didn't want to rub my skin. That's when this ORBIS Off Cream came to the rescue. Sorry for the long preamble. Of course, since it's a cream type, the same structure applies as in the diagram I described—oil enclosed in a surfactant membrane within water. That's just how cleansing cream works structurally. So you need to apply some pressure to burst that interface membrane and trigger phase inversion. But what's amazing about this Off Cream is that this interface membrane is like an eggshell-type structure, so to speak. The more oil in makeup, the easier it is to lift off. However, if this eggshell-like interface is somewhat rigid, the amount of oil it can hold is limited—because if you put in too much, it will simply burst. Also, if the eggshell becomes too thick, phase inversion becomes harder to achieve. What this Off Cream did was develop this interface membrane not as a rigid, brittle eggshell, but as something soft and elastic like a rubber balloon. What's great about that is that, like a rubber balloon, it can expand. This means it can hold far more oil than conventional cleansing creams. So when applied to the skin—and yes, you still need some pressure to trigger phase inversion—the amount of oil that bursts out is completely different. So for those who've thought cleansing creams don't remove makeup well and haven't liked them for that reason—even though there's no tightness after washing, the makeup removal just wasn't quite satisfying—the oil content here is dramatically different from conventional cleansing creams. When applying it, if you press rather than rub in circles, there's a moment where your hand suddenly feels lighter. That's exactly the moment phase inversion occurs, and the oil bursts out. I compared it to going from an eggshell to a rubber balloon—so it holds a lot of oil, but when a certain amount of pressure is applied, the balloon pops, so to speak. Of course it has elasticity, so oil droplets colliding with each other won't cause it to burst, allowing it to hold a lot. But once you apply a certain amount of pressure to the skin, the interface membrane properly comes apart, releasing a large amount of oil, which then lifts the makeup off. So you don't need to rub much at all. Plus, it contains as much oil as oil cleansers, so it has the makeup-removing function of a cleanser as well. So for those who thought cleansing cream was good for their skin but had trouble removing makeup with it, and those who used cleansing cream but were confused about how to use it without rubbing—I really recommend trying this cleansing cream at least once. Another thing about ORBIS is that it's very wallet-friendly in terms of price. Also, this actually comes with a refill option, so you can refill and reuse the container. This was released, I believe, in January or February this year, and I've already repurchased it two or three times. So for young people with dry skin who used to think cleansing cream was something only older women use, and for those experiencing skin troubles from wearing masks—especially now that people aren't wearing heavy makeup due to masks but still want to cleanse thoroughly yet gently—this is a cleanser I really want you to pay attention to. And the other product is this: shu uemura's Ultime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil in Foam. Speaking of shu uemura, they're so famous for cleansing oil that the brand is almost synonymous with it. The reason is that shu uemura was founded by the makeup artist Shu Uemura. As a makeup artist, he believed that beautiful makeup requires beautiful bare skin underneath, which is why the brand has put so much effort into cleansing products from the start. The famous one, which I also use, is this one. This is the original product this new one is based on—the Ultime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil. I think a lot of people probably use this one. Among beauty enthusiasts, I'd guess nearly every household has a bottle of this—it really is on a different level compared to other cleansing oils. The base is corn germ oil, with camellia oil added as well. Plus, it uses non-ionic surfactants, so even though it's an oil cleanser, it's very gentle on the skin, and the oil formulation is so well-balanced that there's no tight feeling after washing—that's the characteristic of shu uemura's cleansing oil. But it's still an oil cleanser after all. Of course, if you wash using my method—emulsifying it—you don't need to rub. But this new product takes it a step further by eliminating friction even more, by turning it into a foam type. This was actually released on July 1st, and I had been eagerly waiting for it, determined to buy it the moment it came out, and I finally got my hands on it. Foam cleansers have been trending lately. Why? Well, look at this—see, it comes out as foam, just like face wash. So if you leave it as is, once this foam mixes with your makeup, theoretically you don't need to rub at all—you could just rinse it off with water and the makeup would come off. There's no need for oil-based phase inversion or emulsification. All you do is press this foam—like this, pressing it in to blend it in. Once it's thoroughly blended with the makeup, you just rinse it off with water, and it comes off with virtually no friction needed. Foam cleansers have become quite common recently, but many of them either don't remove makeup well, or if they do remove makeup well, they tend to leave your skin feeling tight afterward. That's usually due to the choice of surfactants used, or whether moisturizing ingredients are included. But since shu uemura carries over the formula from the cleansing oil I mentioned earlier, this foam also contains the same camellia oil and corn germ oil found in that cleansing oil. Also, since it uses amino acid-based cleansing agents, it foams well and is gentle on the skin. Combined with the brand's commitment to including beneficial oils like camellia oil and corn germ oil, I believe this is probably the first foam-type cleanser from shu uemura that incorporates skin-beneficial oils so thoroughly. So naturally, it's designed to thoroughly remove makeup just as well as the oil cleanser, and just like the Ultime8 cleansing oil, it doesn't leave that tight feeling that foam cleansers often cause. The oil properly forms a film that remains on the skin, resulting in minimal tightness after cleansing—it's truly a groundbreaking cleanser. As I've said many times, skin type is of course important when it comes to cleansing. Depending on your skin type, cream or milk types may be good for dry skin, but ultimately you need to remove your makeup, so choose according to that day's makeup. Otherwise, using a weak cleanser and rubbing hard to compensate will actually harm your skin. So even if you have dry skin, on days with heavy makeup, use products like this cleansing foam or cleansing oil that let you remove makeup thoroughly without friction. On the other hand, for days with everyday, work-level makeup, use cleansing milk or a cream like this one—especially this ORBIS one, which removes makeup really well even among cleansing creams, and as I mentioned, contains plenty of oil for a good feel on the skin.
