これを実現させるのはめちゃくちゃ大変だったらしいんですよ。お湯でするっと取れるようなマスカラが出来上がったっていうところになります。それが搭載されているのがこちら、マジョルカのラッシュエキスパンダーネオラッシュになります。資生堂が独自に開発したゴリルアクリレート51というものと、油性の被膜剤を一緒に合わせることによって、カールキープ力はあるんだけれども、お湯でふやかすと途端にするっと落ちるっていうような、夢のような被膜剤が出来上がったんです。新開発のこのポリマーには、イメージとしては特殊なスーツを着ていると思ってください。外側はお水だとかをはじくような感じになっています。でも内側はお湯センサーというものがあります。お水だったらはじくんだけど、お湯だったら特殊なポリマーの中にお湯が入ってくることによって、熱と水分を感知すると、中のセンサーが水分を一気に取り込むんですよ。なのでスルッと取れてしまうということになります。

By combining Shiseido's uniquely developed Gorilla Acrylate 51 with an oil-based film-forming agent, they created a dream-like coating agent that has strong curl-keeping power, yet comes off instantly and smoothly when softened with warm water. Think of this newly developed polymer as if it's wearing a special suit. The outside repels things like water. But the inside has what could be called a warm-water sensor. It repels regular water, but when warm water enters this special polymer, the sensor inside detects the heat and moisture, and instantly absorbs the moisture all at once. That's why it comes off so smoothly.
