みなさんこんにちは!友利新です。 今日はこちら!ビオレのUVアクアリッチシリーズ、何が違うのかどうやって選んだらいいの?ということにお答えしたいと思います。 ドラッグストアとかにもこれ結構並んでいて、同じアクアリッチって書いてあるから、ああ!みたいな感じの人を見るんですよ。これがいいよとかって教えてあげたいなっていつもいつも思っているので、今日はそんな人にですね、この動画を見たら自分に合ったものが選べるよということで、ビオレアクアリッチシリーズを徹底解析したいと思います。 では早速なんですが、ドラッグストアだったりコンビニとかでもこのアクアリッチシリーズ売っていて、1回でも使ったことある人って多いんだと思うんですよ。紫外線カット効果もめちゃくちゃ高いわけじゃないですか。塗り心地もアクアリッチって言ってよくって、何が違ってるんですか?みたいに思っている方すごく多いんですけれども、実はこれ中身に使われている技術が大きく分けて2つに分かれています。 どういうふうに分かれているかっていうと、ビオレUVアクアリッチウォータリーエッセンスとですね、ビオレUVアクアリッチウォータリーホールドクリーム。この2つは同じカプセル化技術が使われています。アクアリッチウォータリーホールドクリームというのは去年限定で出たんですけれども、すごく好評だったので今年全国発売になったもので、このアクアリッチの方がずっと売られているものになっています。こちらのビオレUVアクアリッチウォータリーホールドクリームっていうのが今年限定で発売になっているものになります。 ウォータリーエッセンスとウォータリーホールドクリームとは違う独自のカプセル化技術が使われているものになっています。 そもそも日焼け止めっていうのは紫外線吸収剤というものと散乱剤というものが含まれているのは皆さんご存知だと思います。紫外線吸収剤というのが紫外線が当たった時にその熱エネルギーを化学的に変化させて、肌にダメージが来ないようにするっていうのが吸収剤。散乱剤というのは鏡のような役割で、それを跳ね返していくっていうものになっているんですね。 どっちも油に溶けやすいものでお水にはなかなか溶けにくいんですよ。なので昔の日焼け止めってSPFが高かったりPAが高かったりすると結構ヌルヌルしてたりとか、油っぽい日焼け止めが多かったと思います。それはなぜかというと紫外線吸収剤とか散乱剤をたくさん入れて防御率を高くしようとしたら油に溶かしていかなきゃいけないから、油っぽくてヌルヌルするっていう感じだったんですね。 なんですが最近そんな日焼け止めに出会うことってほぼなくないですか?特にこのビオレのアクアリッチシリーズって、アクアって言ってるぐらい水々しさが売りじゃないですか。新しい紫外線吸収剤とか散乱剤でも出たのかっていうと、またそれは違っていて、花王さんがどういうふうにしたかっていうとですね、お水にも溶けやすいし油にも溶けやすいカプセルで紫外線吸収剤とか散乱剤を囲むっていうことを考えたんですよ。それがアクアリッチのウォータリーエッセンスとホールドクリームに使われている固体ミクロカプセル処方というものになります。 ちなみにこのカプセルはですね、ベヘン酸グリセリルっていうものと、ジステアリン酸ソルビタンという、お水にも油にも溶けやすいカプセルをちっちゃくして、その中に紫外線吸収剤散乱剤っていうものを入れています。これがお水の中に入っているので、例えばこれを塗ります。もうほんとお水みたいなのよこれ。お水だなと思ったら、カプセルが均一に細かくあるので、テトリスみたいにピピピピピピピって並んでくれるわけですよ。あとお水はですね、置いていくだけで蒸発していくじゃないですか。だからお水が蒸発したら、このミクロカプセルだけがテトリスが並んだように並んでくれるので、日焼けをしっかりと防御してくれる。だけれども私たちが塗った時には、お水の中にこのカプセルが入っているから、みずみずしすごくないですか。 じゃあこの2つ何が違うかっていうと、このウォータリーエッセンスの方には、ミクロカプセルに入っているのは紫外線吸収剤だけになっています。一方このウォータリーホールドクリームは紫外線散乱剤だけなんですね。紫外線散乱剤の中でも、酸化亜鉛ではなくて酸化チタンだけが入っているんですよ。 私は酸化亜鉛が結構好きというか、別に嫌いじゃないんですけれども、酸化亜鉛っていうものがなんか毛穴に詰まってしまって黒ずみの原因だみたいなことをおっしゃっている方だったり、あと酸化亜鉛でニキビができてしまうということがあって、エビデンスはないんですけれども、そういった経験則っていうのが結構あって、酸化亜鉛をフリーにした方が肌の調子がいいっていう人がSNS界隈でいるっていうところも大きいのかなと思うんですけれども、ウォータリーホールドクリームの方は酸化チタンだけになっています。 どっちもSPFは50なんですけれども、PAがこっちは4プラスでMAXなんですけれども、こっちはですね、PAは3プラスになっています。紫外線散乱剤の中でも、紫外線A波をしっかりとカットするためには酸化亜鉛って必要不可欠なものなんですよ。なので酸化亜鉛のネガティブっていうか、そう言われている要素を排除した代わりに、PAを下げざるを得なかったのかなと思っています。 B波も怖いんですけど、A波っていうのは長い波長なので真皮の方にまで行きますから、私は紫外線A波をしっかりカットしたい派なんですね。そういった意味でも、この2つどっち選びますかっていうと、このウォータリーエッセンスの方を選ぶかなと思います。紫外線吸収剤が苦手でノンケミカルで使いたい、かつ酸化亜鉛でなんとなく毛穴の黒ずみが気になるっていう人は、やっぱりこちらの方がいいのかなと思うんですが、UVに関しては心配かなっていうところはあるよっていうことだけ分かって、それで使っていただければいいんじゃないかなという風に思います。 では次こちら、これ私以前解説したことがあるんですけど、これにもですね、花王独自のカプセル化技術が使われています。それが寒天ハイドロカプセル技術になっています。これもですねさっきの原理で、カプセル化に入れてるんですが、固体ミクロカプセルとは違って、寒天のカプセルの中に紫外線吸収剤も散乱剤も、どっちも入れてるっていう感じになってます。 なんでわざわざ寒天カプセルにしてんの、同じでいいじゃんっていう風に思うと思うんですが、あることを別でしたかったから寒天カプセルっていうのを開発したんですね。それは何かっていうと、固体ミクロカプセルの中にも紫外線吸収剤と油っていうものを入れることができるんですけれども、全部が全部油をこの固体ミクロカプセルに入れるってことは、やっぱり不可能だったらしいんですね。なのでお水の層にも多少油分の成分があったのが、このウォータリーエッセンスだったり、ウォータリーホールドクリームだったんですけれども、ウォータリーホールドクリームっていうのは、ホイップ感覚にしたかったっていうのと、呼吸をしてるっていうもので、暑くて汗をかいてる時には、その汗を吸収して、エアコンのところに行って乾燥したら、そのお水を放出するっていう、肌から水分が出たら水分をキャッチして、水分が必要な時にはその水分を放出するっていう、呼吸をするようにしたかったんですね。そのためには高分子とかで、汗を吸い取りますよっていう成分を入れたかったんですよ。これが油がちょっとでもあると溶けないらしいんですね。だからこそ油をまとめて入れるっていう、この寒天ハイドロカプセルっていうのを、また新しく開発して、そこにすべて入れてきちっと分かれたカプセルになってるんですね。 この寒天ハイドロカプセルには、同じように紫外線吸収剤も散乱剤もしっかり入れることができてるので、SPF50、PA++++で高い紫外線カット率もありながら、みずみずしさも保たれながら、汗でも崩れない、乾燥でも肌が乾燥しないっていう、呼吸をするようなウォータリーホールドクリームっていうものができてるんですね。 汗をかくところから乾燥するところに行ったり来たりするみたいな方には、かなりおすすめだし、あと男の人って結構汗かくじゃないですか。そういう人にもいいんじゃないかなという風に思います。 余談なんですけれども、寒天ハイドロカプセルって、お水に溶けやすいものを成分として日焼け止めに入れるには、かなりぴったりなカプセルなんじゃないかなと思うんですよね。多分ですけども今回は高吸水性のポリマーを入れてるんですが、来年とか再来年とかには、この成分を入れるから、また今回この寒天ハイドロカプセルを入れたんだよとか、カプセル化技術を持ってるからこそ、アクアリッチシリーズが別のね、バージョンが出てくるんじゃないかなという風に予言しておきます。この予言が当たりますように、私自身もちょっと祈るというか、日焼け止めでどんどん進化した方が使いやすくなってね、皆さんにもいいんじゃないかなと思いますので、予言をこの2025年にしておこうかなと思います。 最後に私が選ぶならなんですけど、私あんま汗かかないんですよ。汗かかないからこっちかなとは思うんですが、子供と外で遊んで汗かきそうだなって思う時には、こっちを選ぶかなと思うので、正直そんなに高くはないので、2つぐらい買って塗り分けみたいなことをしてもいいんじゃないかなと思いますが、私だったらコンビニでも買えるし、こっちかなという風に思います。 はい、ということでいかがだったでしょうか。花王さんのこのカプセル化技術って、本当に素晴らしくて、伸びしろがあるようなものになっていますので、皆さんもこのカプセル化技術で選ぶのは難しいかもしれないんですけれども、今日解説したようにですね、選んでいただければいいんじゃないかなと思いますし、正直どれを選んでも気持ちがいい、みずみずしい処方になっていますので、選んでみてください。 ということで今日も最後まで見ていただいてありがとうございました。このチャンネルではこのように化粧品について詳しく解説したり、美容健康についてお話ししているチャンネルになりますので、チャンネル登録よろしくお願いします。毎週火曜日にはですね、メンバーシップ限定でライブも配信しています。月額90円にはなりますけれども、普段では言えないようなことを皆さんにお話ししていますので、メンバーシップも入会してくれると嬉しいです。ではまた次の動画でお会いしましょう。さようなら。

Hello everyone! This is Tomori Ara. Today I want to talk about the Biore UV Aqua Rich series - what's different between them and how should you choose? These are actually sold quite a lot in drugstores, and since they all say "Aqua Rich" on the label, I often see people going "oh, they're all the same, huh?" I always want to tell people which one is good for them, so today I want to thoroughly analyze the Biore Aqua Rich series so that after watching this video, you'll be able to choose the one that's right for you. Let's get right into it. This Aqua Rich series is sold in drugstores and even convenience stores, so I think many people have used it at least once. The UV protection is incredibly high, right? And it also has a great, watery texture that people associate with "Aqua Rich." Many people wonder what the actual difference is, but in fact, the technology used inside these products is divided into two main types. How are they divided? There's the Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence and the Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Hold Cream. These two use the same capsule technology. The Aqua Rich Watery Hold Cream was originally released as a limited edition last year, but it was so well-received that it was launched nationwide this year. This Aqua Rich (Essence) has been sold for a long time, while the Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Hold Cream is the one released as a limited edition this year. The Watery Essence and Watery Hold Cream use different, unique capsule technologies. As you probably know, sunscreens generally contain what's called a UV absorber and a UV scattering agent. A UV absorber chemically converts the heat energy when UV rays hit it, preventing damage to the skin. A scattering agent acts like a mirror, reflecting the UV rays away. Both of these tend to dissolve easily in oil but not very well in water. That's why old sunscreens with high SPF or PA values used to feel quite sticky or oily. This is because in order to increase the level of protection, you needed to add a lot of UV absorbers and scattering agents, which had to be dissolved in oil, resulting in that oily, sticky feeling. But lately, we rarely encounter sunscreens like that anymore, right? Especially with this Biore Aqua Rich series - the "Aqua" name itself emphasizes how watery and refreshing it feels. So did they invent some new UV absorber or scattering agent? Actually, no. What Kao did instead was develop capsules that dissolve easily in both water and oil, and use these to encapsulate the UV absorbers and scattering agents. This is the Solid Micro Capsule formulation used in the Aqua Rich Watery Essence and Hold Cream. By the way, these capsules are made using glyceryl behenate and sorbitan distearate - ingredients that dissolve easily in both water and oil - shrunk down into tiny capsules, with the UV absorbers and scattering agents packed inside. Since these are suspended in water, when you apply the product... it really does feel just like water! But once you realize it's watery, you notice the capsules are evenly and finely distributed, lining up like a game of Tetris. And since water naturally evaporates once applied, when the water evaporates, only these micro capsules remain neatly lined up like Tetris blocks, providing solid UV protection. Yet when we apply it, since these capsules are suspended in water, isn't it incredibly refreshing? So what's the difference between the two? In the Watery Essence, only UV absorbers are packed into the micro capsules. Meanwhile, the Watery Hold Cream contains only UV scattering agents. And among the scattering agents, it uses only titanium dioxide, not zinc oxide. Personally, I quite like zinc oxide - I'm not against it - but some people say zinc oxide clogs pores and causes blackheads, or that it causes acne breakouts. There's no solid evidence for this, but there is a lot of anecdotal experience out there, and quite a few people on social media say their skin condition improves once they go zinc-oxide-free. That might be a big reason why the Watery Hold Cream uses only titanium dioxide. Both products have an SPF of 50, but while one has a PA rating of ++++ (the maximum), the other has PA+++. Among scattering agents, zinc oxide is essential for thoroughly blocking UVA rays. So in exchange for eliminating the negative aspects associated with zinc oxide, they likely had to lower the PA rating. UVB is scary too, but UVA has a longer wavelength and penetrates deeper into the dermis, so personally, I'm someone who wants to thoroughly block UVA rays. With that in mind, if you ask me which of the two I'd choose, I'd go with the Watery Essence. If you're someone who dislikes UV absorbers and wants to use non-chemical formulas, and if you're also somewhat concerned about pore blackheads from zinc oxide, this one is probably better for you - just keep in mind that it may be a bit less reassuring in terms of UV protection. As long as you understand that trade-off, I think it's fine to use. Now, next up is this one, which I've discussed before. This one also uses Kao's own unique capsule technology - the Agar Hydro Capsule technology. This also uses the same principle of encapsulation, but unlike the Solid Micro Capsule, both UV absorbers and scattering agents are packed together inside a single agar capsule. You might wonder, why bother making a special agar capsule - why not just do the same thing as before? Well, they developed the agar capsule because there was something specific they wanted to achieve separately. What is that? While the Solid Micro Capsule can technically contain both UV absorbers and oil, it turns out it's not possible to pack all the oil into this Solid Micro Capsule. So in the Watery Essence and Watery Hold Cream, there was still some oil content remaining in the water layer. But with the (newer) Watery Hold Cream, they wanted to create a whipped-cream-like texture and a "breathing" function - meaning that when you sweat in the heat, it absorbs the sweat, and then when you go somewhere dry like an air-conditioned room, it releases that water back out. In other words, they wanted it to catch moisture released from the skin and release moisture back when needed - essentially breathing. To achieve this, they wanted to add ingredients like polymers that absorb sweat. But it turns out these don't dissolve properly if there's even a little bit of oil present. That's exactly why they developed this new Agar Hydro Capsule - to pack all the oil together separately, creating cleanly divided capsules. With this Agar Hydro Capsule, both UV absorbers and scattering agents can be reliably included, achieving SPF50 and PA++++ for high UV protection, while maintaining that watery freshness, resisting breakdown from sweat, and preventing dryness - creating this "breathing" Watery Hold Cream. This is highly recommended for people who go back and forth between sweating and dry environments, and also for men, who tend to sweat a lot. I think it would suit them well too. As a side note, I think the Agar Hydro Capsule seems like a particularly good fit for incorporating water-soluble ingredients into sunscreens. This time, they likely used a high-water-absorbing polymer, but I predict that in the coming years - maybe next year or the year after - they'll develop this Agar Hydro Capsule further to incorporate other ingredients, precisely because they now have this capsule technology. I bet we'll see new versions of the Aqua Rich series come out because of this. I'm making this prediction for 2025, and I sincerely hope it comes true - partly because I'd love to see sunscreens keep evolving to become even easier to use for everyone. Finally, if I had to choose for myself - I don't really sweat much, so I'd lean toward this one. But when I'm out playing with my kids and expect to sweat, I'd choose this other one instead. Honestly, since neither is very expensive, I think it's totally fine to buy both and use them depending on the situation. But if I had to pick one, since this one is available even at convenience stores, I'd go with this one. So, what did you think?
