化粧品で首のイボが改善する？ / Can cosmetics help with neck warts?

皆さんこんにちは、内科・皮膚科医の友利新です。今日は皆さんからも疑問の多かった首のイボについてお話ししようと思います。YouTubeのライブでも質問されましたし、コメントでも多かったので、それについて詳しくお話ししようと思います。 まず、この首のイボ、何かというとスキンタグと呼ばれる良性の腫瘍になります。良性腫瘍というと怖いと思うかもしれませんが、これ自体が何か危険なわけではありません。大体、更年期を過ぎた女性や年を取った方に多いと言われていますが、本当に早い方は20代ぐらいからできてきます。特に首の周りにポツポツと、ドーム型をしているものもあれば、少し垂れ下がるような感じ、細長い突起が出るような感じなど、いろんな形状のものがあります。 ただ、イボといってもこれはウイルスなどでできるわけではありません。なので他人にうつることはありません。これは何でなるかというと、主に紫外線によるものです。あとは摩擦や、加齢に伴うものもありますが、大体はやはり紫外線に当たることでできてくるので、首のあたりにできることが多いんですね。 なので対策としては、あまり刺激を与えないようにすること、皮膚とお洋服の摩擦を避けることと、紫外線対策をしっかりすることになります。 ただ、対策はわかったけれどもどうやって取るの？という方が多いと思います。首のイボがポロッと取れるとか、首のイボを取るための飲み薬や化粧水・化粧品が結構売られていますが、皮膚科医の立場から言うと、飲み薬や化粧品では絶対にイボは良くなりません。これは断言できます。 ハトムギなどにはイボを予防する効果があることは確かです。なのでイボができてしまった方に、これ以上新しいものができないようにハトムギのエキスなどを内服していただくことはクリニックでも行いますが、現在すでにできてしまったイボは病院で取るしか方法はありません。 どういう方法で取るかというと、昔は液体窒素でじゅうじゅうと焼いていましたが、今は炭酸ガスレーザー（CO2レーザー）というものがあるので、それでピュッピュッと取ります。実際に病院で取ってきた映像をお見せしようと思います。 私もまだ大きくはないですが1個自分のイボを見つけたので、私が実験台になって、私が勤務している白野クリニックの大野先生にやってもらいました。先端が細い電気メスのようなレーザーを使って施術します。本当に一瞬で終わりました。 こちらが取った2日目の様子です。少し赤くなっているのは擦れてしまうためですが、本来はもう少し赤みは少なくなります。私の場合、縦長というより横に平べったいイボだったので削る範囲が多少広かったですが、縦長のイボであれば当日または1〜2日で赤みはほとんどなくなります。 首のイボは1個できたらどんどんできてくることが多いです。感染というよりも、これまでの生活習慣が原因なので、1個かなと思ったらいろんなところにできていることも多いです。 レーザーで取る費用は、1〜2個であればそれほど高くはありません。治りもしない薬や化粧品に何年もお金をかけるよりも、病院に行ってすぐにレーザーで取ってしまった方がずっとよいと思います。もし首のイボで悩んでいる方がいたら、ぜひお近くの皮膚科に相談してください。 液体窒素は物によっては色素沈着になりやすいこともあるので、できれば炭酸ガスレーザー（CO2レーザー）で取ることをおすすめします。取った後は色素沈着する方も中にはいますが、基本的には1〜2週間で目立たなくなります。早めに取ること、そして何よりもできないように紫外線対策をすることが大事です。この2つを覚えておいてください。 このチャンネルでは皆さんに美容や健康についてわかりやすく説明しています。よかったらチャンネル登録してみてください。ではまた次の動画でお会いしましょう。

Hello everyone, I'm Arata Tomori, an internal medicine and dermatologist doctor. Today I'd like to talk about neck warts, a topic many of you have had questions about. I've received questions about this during YouTube livestreams and in the comments, so I'd like to explain it in detail. First of all, these neck warts are called skin tags, and they are benign tumors. The word 'tumor' might sound scary, but these are not dangerous in any way. They are said to be more common in women who have gone through menopause and in older individuals, but they can actually start appearing as early as your 20s. They tend to appear around the neck as small bumps, and come in various shapes — some are dome-shaped, some hang down slightly, and some are long and thin protrusions. Despite being called 'warts,' they are not caused by a virus, so they cannot be transmitted to other people. The main cause is UV radiation. Friction and aging also play a role, but UV exposure is the primary cause, which is why they tend to appear around the neck. Prevention measures include avoiding excessive irritation to the skin, reducing friction from clothing, and taking proper UV protection measures. Many people wonder how to remove existing warts. There are oral medications, lotions, and cosmetic products on the market claiming to remove neck warts, but as a dermatologist, I can state with certainty that medications and cosmetics will absolutely not improve warts. It is true that ingredients like Job's tears (coix seed) have been shown to help prevent warts. So for patients who already have warts, we may recommend coix seed extract supplements to prevent new ones from forming. However, warts that have already developed can only be removed at a medical clinic. In the past, liquid nitrogen was used to freeze and burn them off. Nowadays, CO2 laser (carbon dioxide laser), which works similarly to an electric scalpel, is used to quickly remove them. I'll show you footage of an actual removal procedure. I found one wart on myself, so I had it removed at Shirono Clinic where I work, by Dr. Ono. The device has a fine tip, similar to an electric scalpel, and uses laser energy to remove the wart. The procedure was truly over in an instant. Here is how it looked two days after removal. It's a bit red because of friction, but the redness would normally be less than this. In my case, my wart was flat and wide rather than tall and narrow, so a slightly larger area needed to be treated. For typical elongated neck warts, redness usually disappears within a day or two. Once one neck wart appears, more tend to follow. This is not due to infection, but rather lifestyle habits, so if you notice one, there may already be others developing elsewhere. The cost of laser removal is not very high for one or two warts. Rather than spending years on medications or cosmetics that won't work, it's far better to visit a dermatology clinic and have them removed with laser treatment. If you're troubled by neck warts, please consult a dermatologist near you. Liquid nitrogen can sometimes cause post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation depending on the case, so CO2 laser treatment is generally recommended. While some patients may experience some pigmentation after treatment, it typically fades and becomes unnoticeable within one to two weeks. The key points are to remove warts early and, most importantly, to protect yourself from UV radiation to prevent new ones from forming. Please keep these two things in mind.
