Hello everyone, this is Arata Tomori. Today, I would like to share a video about products I've used up. I have a habit of repurchasing the same products repeatedly, so I have several empty containers, and some products I'm still using continuously. I hope you'll watch until the end. So, the first product is Dr. K's K Control Essence. This is a serum, and I have about three empty bottles of it, plus there are probably other ones I've discarded. Dr. K is a brand developed by Dr. Kameyama, who has extensive knowledge about vitamin C and pores. Since I'm particularly concerned about pore enlargement, I've been using K Control Essence for many years. Vitamin C has very high antioxidant effects, but it oxidizes quickly when applied to the skin. To prevent this rapid oxidation, you need to add ingredients that support vitamin C even after it oxidizes—this is called oxidation-reduction. These include glutathione and niacinamide. The product is formulated to maintain the vitamin C cycle with these ingredients properly included. I don't think the vitamin C concentration is particularly high, which means it's non-irritating and easy to use, so I keep repurchasing it. Next, I'll introduce another Dr. K product that I recommend using together. This is the K Control Essence ABC Serum. It contains vitamin C and glutathione, plus palmitoyl retinol, which is a retinol derivative. I've also used up this one in the same way: Environ's Seequence Serum 4 Plus. There are versions from 1 to 4 Plus, and I'm now using the 4 Plus. Both are vitamin A—or retinol—serums. I think these are quite famous products, but I use them differently. The textures are completely different, and the skin condition I'm aiming for is different. Dr. K was created by Dr. Kameyama specifically for people concerned about pores and other issues, so the textures are on the lighter side and are formulated to be gentle on pores. For achieving a pore-free skin, I think Dr. K is an excellent combination. Retinol alone isn't enough, so I use this one in the morning. Environ, on the other hand, I've been using since I first started using retinol. The texture is very greasy. You might be surprised hearing that, but some people love this aspect while others find it problematic—even at our clinic, opinions are divided. Recently, of course, I've started using cream, but in the past, there were times I would finish with just this product, it's so moisturizing. Environ also contains palmitoyl retinol, plus retinol itself, so the formulation is stepped up gradually from 1 to 4 Plus. While both provide a dewy complexion, Environ's is more anti-aging focused. It's formulated with peptides and other ingredients that are optimal for anti-aging. I use this one at night. So in the morning, I use this retinol serum, and Environ at night. This way, I'm introducing both palmitoyl retinol and retinol to achieve both pore-free skin and anti-aging benefits. That's why I'm using multiple bottles. Next, I've used up quite a few of these as well—I have two empty bottles here. This is Ricepower's Repair Concentration, which is a first-essence serum. I use it to create transparency and moisture from my neck all over my face. It contains Ricepower No. 11. Ricepower No. 11 has official recognition for improving the skin's water retention ability, helping your skin produce its own moisture. So it prevents dryness and creates a hydrated complexion. Plus, it contains Ricepower 23. Although 23 isn't officially recognized as an active ingredient, I consider it a brightening-oriented Ricepower. It absorbs smoothly and doesn't interfere at all. So right after washing my face, I apply the Control Essence to my T-zone and the sides of my nose—areas where I'm concerned about pores. For other areas, I'm particularly concerned about under-eye wrinkles, and I have fairly prominent cheekbones. When I laugh, this area pulls, creating wrinkles. To prevent wrinkles from settling, I apply eye cream, but applying eye cream in the morning can cause makeup to shift, so I want to enhance the transparency of my forehead and neck too. I apply this serum everywhere except where I'm concerned about pores. I've been using this for about two years now. Some people might not know about this next product. When I previously introduced carbonated products, I mentioned a carbonated spray called Meguri. Since I've run out of its accompanying serum, I wanted to introduce this too. Meguri has various accompanying toners. One is Zero, which provides a reset-like effect. It contains vitamins A, C, and E properly, plus peptides and such. This was probably the first one released. When the carbonation hits your skin, it works to drive the toner in. Your face doesn't get overly wet. When you spray it right after waking up, the carbonation feels like it's penetrating your skin, which is great. After that, versions 1 and 2 were released. I used up version 2. The major difference between Zero and 2 is that the active ingredients are different. Version 2 contains five types of vitamin C derivatives. So when I have no time for skincare—when I quickly apply toner and rush off to shoot—I use version 2 toner and apply some cream. It also worked great when I was sleep-deprived and my face was puffy. The special technology of delivering carbonation to the skin is something only Kao and Meguri really do, so it's not that other products are bad, but I only trust these two. That's why I've used this up. Speaking of carbonation, this is just the box—there's no contents left. This is Ecare's carbonated mask. You mix it and apply it, then peel it off after about an hour. Before important shoots, I always do this. When you mix it, carbonation is released. The key is how well that carbonation is maintained over time. It doesn't help if it suddenly bursts out; you need it to come out gradually and stay consistent. Ecare's mask has a patent for exactly that. I researched carbonated masks at one point and found this. For about two years, I've been purchasing and using this regularly, and I've used it up. Next is toner. First, SK-II. I use this generously as a base. You probably don't need me to explain it. Pitera provides brightness and refines skin texture. I use SK-II continuously, and regarding brightness, I also found Pase worked really well. It's similar in approach to brightness, so directionally, we're trying to enhance transparency. If you asked which is better, it's really difficult to say. SK-II's Pitera has numerous academic papers published about it, so it's reliable and stable SK-II. Then there's Pase, which is cutting-edge. I think Pase will continue to generate data going forward. In terms of usage, if I had to choose, I really love the scent of SK-II. For those who don't prefer scent, Pase has almost no fragrance, so you could choose based on that. And then there's another one—I just love this—it's Kimpachi's Skin Harmonizer. There's a deep-dive video about it, so it'd be good to watch that. When oxidized sebum is reabsorbed into the skin, it causes inflammation. This happens for both oily and dry skin types. Some people have dry skin and face breakouts; others have oily skin but are also dry. Those people have oxidized sebum entering their skin, which lowers their barrier function. Kimpachi discovered this and incorporated special technology to prevent sebum from entering skin. For example, I layer this over SK-II, applying it particularly to my T-zone and nose. If you're concerned about preventing reabsorption, you might wonder how to use the next cream. But since we're only preventing oxidized sebum from entering, not blocking all oil, the next oil-based product won't be hindered. If you're focusing on hydration, you'd want to use this as the last water-based product in your routine. Some people worry about the alcohol content, but when I recommend this to various people, I receive comments saying the negative cycle they were in improved. I'd been so focused on the amount of sebum, but this product gave me the perspective of changing hydration. In that sense, I genuinely think this is a wonderful toner. Especially as the season changes and more sebum comes out, it's even more important to prevent oxidized sebum from entering. So I'd recommend starting with this product this season. Regarding cleansing: I use these two. I still love Laneige Nol Cleansing Oil—I've used so many bottles—and Doctor 365's Cleansing Gel. This was also excellent. Jel-type cleansers often don't remove makeup well, but since this brand is specifically designed with pores in mind, it's effective at both removing dirt and addressing pore concerns. It contains tranexamic acid and works really well. It removes regular makeup cleanly, and I think it's especially good for those concerned about pores. I've used both of these up. For cleansing, there's this: Albion's Excia Unbereage Jelly Wash. It was really good. I used this alternately with Clescs cleansing—I probably discarded one used-up Clescs bottle. So imagine there's a Clescs here. I alternated between these two. The prices are very different. Clescs is affordable and works to prevent sebum oxidation through cleansing. This is similar, but with added anti-aging elements, so it's more moisturizing. When I'm tired, I use Albion; daily, I use Clescs. Since I used both up around the same time, I'm not sure why I discarded the Clescs. So imagine it's still here—currently using this one. For brightening, I've been using Clinique's Invisbetter and used up two bottles. Why use this when there are many new brightening serums? I have what looks like post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation here. When sebum sits on it, it takes on a yellowish tone, and it's always bothering me. The brand's unique brightening ingredient works well with my skin, and I saw data showing it also helps prevent glycation, so I wanted to include it. I think it's gradually being depleted. But new brightening actives are constantly coming out, so for overall use, there's this one I used up: Pola's White Shot Facial Serum. It has a splashy, watery texture, so it doesn't interfere with other products. The technology is amazing, and it was the first one I used up. I keep using this. This is what I'm introducing for this used-up video. Regarding moisturizers: first, this one. The product that awakened me to creams: La Roche-Posay Nocicar Plus. I really want everyone, from all skin types to those with dry skin, to know about this. It has the best cost-effectiveness, doesn't cause breakouts, and is the best cream for brightening skin tone. For me, it's good in cold seasons, but lately it's hot, right? Even in hot weather, it doesn't get greasy. How is that possible? But it moisturizes well. Various creams... because of this one, I started trying others. I've used this up too. Then for wrinkles, especially under the eyes, there's this: Ricepower's Wrinkle Seross. This is for wrinkle improvement. There are various wrinkle improvement products, but lately I'm particularly concerned about under-eye wrinkles like these. Since I want strong hydration too, Ricepower No. 11 Plus works because No. 11 itself enhances water retention ability. Plus, it addresses collagen and elastin. In that sense, for the wrinkles I'm currently concerned about, Ricepower No. 11 Plus seems right. I'm using this too. Next is this: hair care. The Avena Intense Repair Advanced, which I mentioned before. I started using it after receiving a recommendation, and while I had the impression Avena was natural and fashion-oriented, their research technology is also impressive. Surprisingly, it also removes sprays well. You know how gentle products sometimes don't remove things well? This removes things properly, and my hair feels healthier. It gives a fluffy lift at the roots, and I thought it was really good. Finally, there's this: Guerlin's Abeille Royale serum. While I also loved Aisle Serum, Abeille really works with anti-inflammatory properties, so when I'm using retinol but my skin feels tired or sensitive, I use this one. It gives my skin energy when I'm worn out, and I'm using it too. It's finally running out. So that's it for today's used-up product introduction, which I haven't done in a while. Going forward, I'll continue using more brightening products, and as it gets hotter, my cleansing and face wash routine will change too. I want to introduce those to you as well. So thank you for watching until the end today. If you enjoyed this video, please give it a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel. I'll see you in the next video. Goodbye!
