Hello everyone, I'm Arata Tominaga. Today, I'd like to introduce some empties and pan products that I've used up completely. Since my last empties video was quite a while ago, I've been using various cosmetics, and some have unfortunately been forgotten and fallen behind. Also, since makeup products don't usually pan completely, I thought I'd introduce both empties and pan products today. So let's get started with the first product: Laneige Cleansing Oil. I've completely used up two bottles of this. I selected it as one of my favorite cleansing products in the first-half best cosmetics that I filmed with Miho. I really do love it, and I used it extensively during June and July in particular. So I've gone through two bottles of this. Actually, I conducted a survey asking you all whether you use cleansing oils, and I'm currently ordering and testing the products you voted for, so I'm not using this at the moment. But honestly, I love the fragrance and the clean feeling it leaves, so once my cleansing oil testing is complete, I'd like to start using this again. Next, we have La Roche-Posay Eye Makeup Remover. There was an eye makeup remover I used to love, but it ran out, and since it was quite expensive, I used it mainly when my lashes needed some TLC. La Roche-Posay comes in a large bottle and is affordable, so I use it daily to touch up makeup. I even use the eye makeup remover to lightly remove makeup when needed. I've used quite a lot of it because I alternate between this and another brand, and it lasted over half a year. So this is something I purchased quite a while ago, but honestly, having just one bottle would last a really long time, especially since I rotate between products. It's a cosmetic with excellent cost-performance. The eye makeup removes cleanly, and unlike other products, it doesn't leave that sticky or dry feeling afterward. Also, many makeup artists use it, so I think it's really an excellent eye makeup remover. Next, let's talk about toners. I've completely used up these two bottles of toner. First is SK-II Facial Treatment Essence. I think I've featured this in a V-log before. When I attended the International Society of Dermatology conference, I got to hear a research presentation about Pitera and was impressed all over again. A new cream was released, but since I have oily skin, it's still too hot to use cream. I thought Pitera should be used in toner form first, so I started with the toner. I've been using it since around June, so one bottle lasts about a month and a half. My second bottle is about one-third gone now, and it lasts quite a while. Having one bottle makes me feel settled. The other one is Estée Lauder The Serum. This is the limited-edition bottle that I did an Instagram Live with before. They release a limited-edition bottle once a year, and this year it was in the Wizard of Oz limited color. The Serum itself is something I really love. It contains a component called Ectoin, which is said to have been taken alone to the desert without any drying issues—that's how effective it is for hydration. That said, it's not at all oily, and while high-richness, high-moisture products for oily skin often feel sticky or slimy, this Serum gives the feeling of plumping the inside with water. So I often used it after SK-II, and when traveling to hot places, if I found dryness after using SK-II, I'd switch to this Serum. I used both, or just one, depending on the situation. Next, let's discuss serums. I've been using quite a variety of serums, but when I look at the ingredients, they're often Vitamin C or Retinol-based. Despite using so many different products, my preferred ingredients have remained consistent. First is Dr. Ci:Labo Double Repair Serum. Even when it's depleted like this, you can still see the two distinct layers—the Ceramide upper layer and the Vitamin C lower layer. This contains three types of Vitamin C: APPS, sustained-release APPS, and water-soluble Vitamin C derivative, plus another penetration-type Vitamin C derivative with different penetration speeds and properties. Combined with Ceramide, I found this really helpful because sometimes when you use Vitamin C, it can be drying or irritating. Even in summer, despite the air conditioning, there's still dryness. I really want to use Vitamin C but worry about dryness, and I don't want to add oil. I want something that plumps from the inside, and having Ceramide alongside Vitamin C was great. I ended up using almost the entire bottle. Next is this product that comes four in one box from a brand called Blanc sic—it's a serum called Switch Shot. I've used it up because there's also a liquid serum component in another bottle. This one contains powder, and when you open the other bottle, you discard it, but you add the serum and mix it to use in a fresh state. This powder contains APPS powder. Even though APPS is stabilized, it gradually loses potency, so I wanted to use it in its freshest state. I used this during July and August when I was traveling, especially to Miyako Island where the UV is intense. I applied it over a wide area on my face, neck, and arms. I used up the entire box over the summer. While regular APPS is fine, when I really don't want to get sunburned, I take the freshly mixed version, so this summer I completely finished Blanc sic's Switch Shot. The other Vitamin C product is Quality First Derma T.R.U.E. I introduced this on YouTube because it has amazing cost-performance. After reading reviews from various testing YouTubers and magazines, it was highly praised not just for ingredients but overall reputation, so I decided to try it and used it all up. There's no irritation at all. It doesn't interfere with my skin, and the cost-performance is absolutely amazing. You can use it on your face, neck, and overall, and I really felt that it works great on enlarged pores, just as everyone said. My oily skin isn't uniformly shiny all over—rather, my nose sides and jaw tend to get really oily. Those areas just become glossy in a good way, but other areas become just plain oily, and this product helped with that shine issue. It's also quite good for enlarged pores. However, I felt the whitening effects were stronger with the other two products. As for pores, Quality First seems a bit better, so I think that if Shilab or Blanc sic is more for older skin wanting whitening or anti-aging benefits, Quality First is better for younger people concerned about pores and sebum. Using all three made me understand the differences better. Next is Retinol. I've used up two retinol products. One is Environ Sequ serum 4 Plus. I use this year-round, so it always runs out. I really want to use Environ's Sequ at night. This one bottle is quite moisturizing for me, and I've been using it for years. I think I've mentioned it in previous empties videos. The other is Dr. K ABCG Repair Serum. I used this more in the morning. Both contain the same Vitamin A derivative, palmitoyl retinol, but this one has Vitamin B—Niacin, Vitamin C, and Glutathione—strong antioxidants, so I prefer using it in the morning. It also has a cleaner feel compared to Environ, so it doesn't interfere with makeup application. I found ABCG Repair Serum was really valuable during summer when using Environ in the morning felt wrong. So how do I differentiate between Vitamin C and Vitamin A or Retinol? First, I apply toner, then Vitamin C products, then Vitamin A. This is because Vitamin C is often water-soluble, so I cleanse, apply toner to prep the skin, then apply Vitamin C, then apply this oil-containing Retinol afterward. This order helps both penetrate better, so I go C then A. Recently, I've started using a product I'm paying attention to: Rice Power Repair Concentration D, which contains Rice Power No.11. This is a first-essence lotion. After cleansing, I apply this first, then toner. Rice Power No.11 Plus came out this year with wrinkle improvement benefits, but honestly, I don't feel I need to use wrinkle improvement all over right now. However, Rice Power's function of working on the stratum corneum and increasing hydration is really important. I've gotten into stratum corneum care lately, so while No.11 Plus might be better, for a first essence or overall use, No.11 is fine. After looking at various options, the brand that makes Rice Power, Yushin Sake Brewery's brand, was best for me—based on my own research. I believe Rice Power No.11 is the most concentrated, though I'm sorry if I'm wrong. Since it also fit easily into my skincare routine, I use it first thing after cleansing, then apply toner. The plumpness and fullness from within, increased stratum corneum hydration, and glossy finish—these are truly unique to Rice Power No.11. Of course, Rice Power No.11 Plus goes further, but I'm already doing nerve care with retinol, so I continue using No.11 instead of the Plus version. Next is eye care. I've used up Guerlain Abeille Royale RR Eye Serum. Since I've featured this several times, I'll skip the explanation, but it's a honey-based serum with excellent moisturizing power. Even though honey sounds sticky, there's no stickiness when using it morning and night. Applying this before makeup actually reduces under-eye wrinkle appearance, so it's really valuable. Despite being so tiny, the cost-performance seems great. Of course, it's expensive, but it barely depletes. After two months of use, there's still a bit left, so the cost-performance is excellent. Though I can see the bottom now. Next is body care. I've used up Clarins Anti-Eau Oil for body care. I use both this and another oil brand, but I bought the Clarins first, so the other is still half full. So the Clarins ran out first. Many people think oil feels icky in summer and prefer gels, but I'm the type who wants that glossy skin even in summer—not that I show my legs much, but when I do, I want that shine. So I actually use oil quite a bit in summer. Using this for massage really helps with leg puffiness, so after the Clarins ran out, I'm now using the other product. From here are makeup products, and as everyone knows, makeup products basically never fully pan. First is NARS Light Reflecting Setting Powder. Even with daily use for over half a year, it barely depletes. Plus, some marble effect came through, so I've been using that shade more lately, and I don't think it'll pan further. But since I could see the bottom, I included it. Next, this is what I'd really call a true pan: Kate Designing Eyebrow 3D EX #5. My brows have practically no tails, so I draw the entire brow and use pencil for the tails, so this probably took about two years to finally finish. So makeup products really do last forever. The Kate EX #5 is officially gone. I already bought a new one. Oh, I forgot to mention sheet masks before makeup. I've used up these two sheet masks. Pureal Retivita Essence Sheet Mask, which I featured in a symptom-specific sheet mask video. I used this during summer when worried about sun damage—like when I went to Okinawa or played with the kids at the park. I always used this, and while it was a seven-piece box, it ran out quickly. I bought it at a drugstore at a good price, and it was really nice. The other one is Estra A.Shica 365. It comes with tweezers, though since I used everything up, I don't have any left. You pull it out and stick it on like this. With morning sheet masks, this area gets wet, so it's a pain. But when I want to get good hydration in the morning, I'd use it on a scale of 1-5, sometimes being more indulgent with 5. Even with regular use, it barely depletes. But within 2-3 minutes, water really gets absorbed, so on days when I'm indoors with air conditioning dryness concerns, or mornings when I want makeup to last until evening, I use this in the morning to hydrate and prevent dryness-related breakdown. So that's it for today—I've introduced my empties and pan products. Actually, there were some products I used but discarded that I didn't include, so next time I'd like to store them properly and show everything. This time, I had lots of summer sun exposure and quite a bit of travel, so the products I panned reflect that focus. I expect next time, probably in fall, I'll have more seasonal products to show. Thank you so much for watching until the end today. If you enjoyed this video, I'd appreciate it if you'd hit the like button or leave a comment. See you in the next video. Bye!
