【2025最新日焼け止め】絶対に焼きたくない族集合！後悔しないUVを本気で紹介します。

皆さんこんにちは！友利新です。今日は2025年日焼け止め、これだけ見れば大丈夫。2025年はもうたくさんの日焼け止めが出ています。雑誌とかでもたくさん見てると思うんですけども、おいおいどんだけ出るんだよっていう感じで。私自身もう15年近く雑誌のベストコスメの審査員させてもらったりもしてるんですけれども、こんなに日焼け止めを選ぶ時が来たんだ！みたいなぐらい本当にたくさん出てるんですよね。ベストコスを審査する時期に入ってるんですけれども、今までだったら日焼け止め部門みたいな感じだったんですが、テクスチャーが気持ちいいものとかエイジングケアできるシリーズとか、トーンアップできるシリーズとか敏感肌用とか、日焼け止めの中でもすごいカテゴリーがいっぱい分けられるっていう。10年以上前は考えられなかったんで、いやもう皮膚科医としてはもうありがたい時代になってきたなあと思うんですね。でも自分に合った日焼け止めはどうなのかっていうのをね、わからなくなると思うので、私がいいと思っているものを全部まとめて紹介しようと思って並べさせてもらいました。これの2倍か3倍ぐらい新商品で出てると思うんですが、それぞれの特徴を解説していって、こういう人にはいいんじゃないかっていうようなお話をさせてもらうので、よかったら最後までご覧ください。 あまりにもいっぱいあるので、大きく分けてどういう感じかっていうのを言おうと思うんですけど、まずは今年はもうなんといっても美容液効果。美容液効果といってもちょっと前だったら、トラネキサム酸入れてますよとかナイアシナミド入れてますよって分かりやすい成分を入れて、美容液効果っていうことが多かったんですが、今期は独自のいわゆる秘伝のタレを入れてきて、エイジングケアだったりとかをしていくものがたくさん出てるんですね。塗る美容液感覚で秘伝のタレをUVを守りながらやりたいっていう方向けのもの、あとは膜にこだわっていて落ちにくいですよみたいなものだったりとか、塗り直しのためにっていう気持ちいいですっていうものと、あとは絶対に焼きたくないですっていう部門にざっくり分けてみました。どのカテゴリーのものが好きか決めていただければいいかなと思うので、まずは秘伝のタレがたっぷり入った美容液級の日焼け止めっていうのをご紹介します。 代表といったらもう今期これですよね。ファスのザ・ブラックデイクリーム。UVって書いてないんですよ。SPF50、PA++++も書いてあるんですが、名前がザ・ブラックデイクリームですからね。クリームみたいなテクスチャーのものなんですよ。こんな感じで白さとかも出てこない、みずみずしいっていう感じぐらいになります。もともとファスっていうのは黒ゴマ発酵液っていうのがクリームに入っていて、それにはナイアシナミドを含むいろんなアミノ酸だったりとか代謝物が入っていて、それが肌の透明感を上げたりっていうところだったんですね。そこに今回は黒豆の発酵液入れてるんですよ。黒豆の発酵液の方はハリやコラーゲンだとかを増やすっていうような秘伝のタレになっているので、クリームのようなんだけれども透明感アップの黒ゴマの発酵液、ハリケアの黒豆の発酵液を入れているっていう感じになります。なのでハリケア透明感ケアをしたいっていう方にはおすすめのものになります。 今季はバズってるし私自身もモーチェさんでブログをやらせてもらったんですけども、これを入れてほしいっていうことが結構多かったので入れさせてもらったんですけど、それも大好評だったので今季を代表する日焼け止めなんじゃないかなという風にも思います。ファスって新顔じゃないですか。それに対抗じゃないんですけれども美容家さんの中ではもうこれ良かったよねって言われているのがこちら。 ポーラのホワイトショットセラムUVです。ポーラのホワイトショットといったら資生堂の白と並ぶ美白の代表選手みたいなもので、今季はホワイトショットの美容液は出てないんですけれども美容液といっても過言ではないUVが今季出ています。ポーラさんは独自の美白の有効成分を持っているぐらい美白っていうものにはかなり特化しているものになるんですが、今回は何に注目をしたかというと、暑い夏体の中で汗をかいたらナトリウムっていうものが出ますよね。脱水になった時に日焼けをしてしまうと普通の日焼けよりも黒くなってしまうっていうところを見つけて、速攻日焼けみたいな感じのものを抑えてくれるっていう特殊な成分が入っています。 今までのホワイトショットの知見ですね。例えばメラニンが黒く塊になっているのを分解してくれたりとか、あとはもちろんメラニンの酸化だったり生成も抑制してくれたりとか、温度差によって焼けてしまうとかいろんなケアもしてくれる上に、それだけじゃなくて汗を日焼け止めの膜が吸った時に逆に硬くなるっていう技術をもともと持ってるんですよ。だからさっき言ったように美容液効果もあるんですけど膜を強くっていうこれどっちも重なってるんですよね。日焼け止めですかっていうぐらい白いんですけれども伸ばしていくともう本当にみずみずしい。ファスもポーラも損色ないぐらいめちゃくちゃ気持ちいいです。トーンアップとかっていうのはないんですけれどもスキンケアの後に仕上げてもいいぐらい気持ちがいいものになっています。 黒くなるのも抑えたいし徹底的に美白したいっていうんだったら、ポーラのこのホワイトショットのセラムUVはおすすめでございます。ポーラの歴代の秘伝のタレがもうぎっしり詰まってるっていう感じになるので美白をしたいっていう人のUVっていうイメージですかね。 次、同じ秘伝のタレがいっぱい入っていてこだわってるといえばこちら。SK-IIジェノプティックCCプライマー。SK-IIのCCプライマーって以前も出てたんですよ。それのまたリニューアルになるんですね。バージョンアップしたっていうイメージになります。 今までもSK-IIといえばピテラですよ。ピテラっていうのは元祖発酵コスメなんですね。ガラクトミセスっていうのを配合してできる発酵液なんですけども、いろんな代謝物が入っているのでピテラこそ学会発表もたくさんあって、シミを抑制するとかバリア機能をアップするとか、炎症を助長するようなサイトカインを抑えたりとか、炎症するサイトカインを抑えるサイトカインを増やすとか、学術的にも認められている成分です。 じゃあそこに何の秘伝のタレが入ったかっていうと、肌って皮丘と皮溝っていうのがあるんですよ。表面がフラットじゃないと光が入った時に透過できない。だから皮丘のところをフラットにするっていうところが、オーラ肌っていって透明感を上げるよねっていうところを行き着いて、もちろんそれにピテラも関与してるんですが、そこにプラスアルファビサボロールっていう、韓国とかでは美白の有効成分として認められてるんですが、それを入れてビサボロール×ピテラっていうものが、この皮丘っていうののなだらかさをつなげるっていうところが、発見したんですね。それは今期のジェノプティックオーラエッセンスっていうものにも入ってるんですが、それがこちらにも入ってるんですよ。 だから最新の美容液の成分を入れつつ、今までのピテラも入ってる。それだけで私もすごいなと思ってたんですけど、色味なんですよね。ベージュが一番私の中では好きで、最初はピンクがいいかなと思ったんですが、このベージュがめちゃくちゃいい色で、ベージュを塗るとトーンアップはしないんだけれども、お肌がすごく1枚ベールをかけたように、荒れを隠してくれる感じになっています。もちろんトーンアップをしたいから、ピンクとかでもいいと思うんですけれども、今日はすっぴんで痛いなっていう時にこれだけでもいいですし、もちろんお化粧の下地としてもいいので、最新の美白の美容液と同じ成分が入りながら、日焼け止めできるっていう、これがめちゃくちゃすごいなというふうに思います。あとこの形状も可愛いですよね。そこもあれ？SK-IIやりよったなみたいな感じで、素敵だなと思います。 秘伝のタネとは違うんですけど、すごいなと思ったのがこちらです。ラロッシュポゼのアンテリオスUVリペアになります。リペアって書いてあるので、私が愛してやまないシカプラストあるじゃないですか。それと同じようにお肌をリペアする成分が入っていて、かつアンテリオスっていうのは、ラロッシュポゼの中でもUVカットが高いものが入ってるんですね。高いUVカットはあるんだけれども、肌を保護していく。どういった時に使うかっていうと、例えばクリニックとかで穴を開けるようなね、ラジオ波ペンとかそういったものじゃなくて、熱を与える系の施術をした後に、鎮静をさせながら日焼け止めもできるよっていうものなんですよ。 確か4月に出たばっかりなんですけれども、もちろん今季後で触れるんですけれども、新しくなったトーンアップローズも、ラロッシュさんすごいなと思ったんですけれども、意外とレーザーとか美容医療の後に、日焼け止めを塗ってくださいって言いたいんですけれども、これ塗ってくださいっていうのがなかなかなかった中、ラロッシュさんっていうのはもともと、フランスとかではお医者さんが処方するものになるんですよ。プラスアルファリペアをさせるっていうことになっているので、シカプラストと同じように、リペアをしながら日焼け止めをしていくっていう意味では、秘伝のタレプラスアルファのUVかなと思って、もちろん美容施術以外の時でも、使ってもらいたいなとは思うんですが、肌がちょっとリペアさせたいなっていう時には、好きだなと思ってこれもちょっとご紹介してみました。 次がこちらです。エリクシールのデイケアレボリューションブライテニングEA。エリクシールの新しいUVなんですが、トラネキサム酸が入っています。トラネキサム酸が入っているから、いつもの美白かなと思いきや、そうじゃないんですよ。これはミトケアエッセンスっていう、ミトコンドリアをケアする成分っていうのが入ってるんですね。生物の授業で聞いたんですが、日焼け止めと何が関係あるんですか？っていう声が聞こえてきそうなんですけれども、まずUVが当たると当たり前ですけれども、ミトコンドリアが傷がついちゃうんですね。そうすると活性酸素が増えたりとか、コラーゲン分解酵素っていうMMPっていうのが増えるっていうことを、今回資生堂さんが見つけて、シワだったりとかハリっていうのも、低下しちゃうんだなっていうことを見つけて、日焼けをしてもこのミトコンドリアの修復を、できるような成分を入れちゃおうといって、入れたのがエリクシールのUVになっています。 なのでトラネキサム酸で透明感はアップするし、ミトケアエッセンスというもので、ミトコンドリアの修復を促してあげて、ハリケアもできるっていう、これこそまさに秘伝のタレですよね。が入ってるUVになっています。色がついてるものとついてないものがあるんですが、今回色がついてないバージョンで、ポーラとかファスみたいにみずみずしいかって、言われたらどちらかというと厚膜です。膜を貼ってるというとベタベタするっていう、イメージになっちゃうんですけどそこはないので、みずみずしい方が好きか膜感が好きかっていう、テクスチャーの違いではあると思うので、ファスと同じようにハリケアができるっていう、ような意味では透明感だけではないので、面白いかなというふうに思います。 取れづらいですよっていうところに、行きたいと思うんですが、さっき言ったポーラのセラムUVは、秘伝のタレも入っているんだけれども、膜を強固にするっていう、独自のテクノロジーも入ってるので、これはどっちも被ってるかなと思うんですが、こちらですね。 資生堂のパーフェクトUVプロテクターローション。見た目からしてお水にも強そうだし、汗にも強そうじゃないですか。これも資生堂の独自のお水だったりとか、汗を吸うと膜が強くなるっていう、テクノロジーが若干違うんですけど、同じように汗とかお水で膜を強化してくれるんですね。それだけじゃなくて熱でも膜を強化してくれます。だから熱くなれば熱くなるほど膜が強化されるんですよ。日本の夏がどんどんどんどん熱くなってきてるじゃないですか。熱くなると汗もかく。この汗でも強くなるんだけど、熱でも強くなるっていうところもすごいし、もう一つはオートリペア処方って言って、笑ったりとかすると、ヨレたりするじゃないですか表情で、これが事前にリペアされる。だから表情で動いてヨレたとしても、自動的に膜を均一にしてくれるっていう、このオートリペア処方っていうのもされてるんですね。 プラスアルファUV耐水性って言って、昔のウォータープルーフですね。お水に強いっていうところも保湿が2つ取れてます。絶対焼けたくないっていう人もそうですけれども、暑い海とかね行った時にとかは、めちゃくちゃいいんじゃないかなと思います。顔も体用にもなっています。なのでこれからどんどん熱くなってきて、海外旅行行くとかレジャー行くっていう時には、自体持っておいた方がいいんじゃないかなという風に思います。 そしてもう一つですね。落ちない膜を貼ると言ったらこちら。衝撃の紫外線ブロック日焼け止めミルク。私も大好きなコーセーのメイクキープミストあるじゃないですか。同じような原理でピタッとフィックスさせるような、成分が入ってる日焼け止めなんですね。それが何かっていうと、トリメチルシロキシケイ酸塩っていうものなんですが、っていう感じになります。あとはコーセー独自のポリマーがですね、網目を作るようにして、日焼け止めをキープさせるだけじゃなくて、このメッシュでプロテクトするっていう感じなので、キープミストみたいに、肌に一つ膜を貼ってあげるっていうような感じです。 このカシャカシャ系のものっていうのは、落ちづらいんですね。他のものよりは結構白っぽくなるのは、もうこれもしょうがないんですよね。でもこれね一番焼けづらいんじゃないかなと思います。コーセーさんは乳化の技術がすごい上手なので、昔みたいにカシャカシャ系でも、油浮きすることもなくペタペタもしないで、サラッとしてます。なのでメイクキープミストをかけたかのように、メイクも崩したくないし、日焼け止めも崩れたくないっていう人には、おすすめの日焼け止めになっております。さっき私が落ちにくいっていうのは、耐水性っていうのもすごく必要だよっていう、お話ししたと思うんですが、意外なもので耐水性があるものがある。 んですよ それがですね こちら エレガンスアクアクリアスムースシールドUVなんですね エレガンスっていうとメイクのブランドじゃないですか だからぶっちゃけて言うと 日焼け止めに私期待してなかったんですね でもよく見たら UV耐水性が星が2つ 資生堂と同じだけ お水には強いよっていうところになってるんですよ かつアクアクリアスムースシールドって 言ってるぐらいなので めちゃくちゃお水なんですね 出した時は白と思うんですけれども 伸ばすとこれ水に変わるんですよ 水分がほんとジュワッと出てくるようなものになります それでいてピタッと膜が張られて お水を弾く仕様になってるんですよ だからメイクブランドなのに この耐水性とこのみずみずしい使用感って 本当に素晴らしいなと思うので 実は美容業界ではかなり 特にメイクさんとかに このエレガンスの日焼け止めいいよね っていう声すごく聞くんですよ デコルテとかってベタベタするもの 塗っちゃったりとかすると お洋服についたりとか あと汗かきやすい場所じゃないですか だから結構取れやすいので 使い心地と耐水性って考えたら デコルテとか首とかにも塗っても いいんじゃないかなという風な感じで こちらもご紹介します その流れからいくとですね ルナソルのグローデイセラム これもメイクブランドじゃないですか だから日焼け止めとして 別に期待してなかったんですけれども これもすごい技術と 気持ちよさっていうのが体現されてるんですね 以前出たカネボーのベールオブデイって言って ラメラ構造を作りながら 日焼け止めをするっていうものが 出たんですけれども これでどういうものかっていうと 通常だったら日焼け止めっていうのは 油の部分に紫外線吸収剤 散乱剤が溶けていて これは肌のラメラ構造と同じように 膜を肌の上に形成してくれる そのラメラの間に 紫外線吸収剤や散乱剤っていうのを いろんなところに置いていけるので みずみずしくもあり ちょっと厚膜なので 日焼け止めもしてくれるっていう でも塗り心地はお水 保湿もできるっていう感じだったんですね カネボーっていうのはカネボーなんですけど カネボーは顔グループなんですね ルナソルはその顔グループなので ベールオブデイと同じラメラ膜が これには作れます そしたらベールオブデイと何が違うかっていうと ルナソル自体はメイクブランドなので ピグメント、パールをしっかり入れてるんですね なので色で飛ばすんじゃなくて 水分をいっぱい含んでる プラスパールの反射で 肌をみずみずしくトーンアップさせるっていう意味で めちゃくちゃ気持ちいいんですよ ピグメントがちょっと白いんですけれども 白で飛ばしてるんじゃなくて 厚膜って言っても膜が厚いっていうのは感じないんですね シートマスクとかをした後に 角層に水分がいっぱいあると 顔色が明るく見えるじゃないですか なので肌に水分をたくさん蓄えて プラスアルファパールも入ってるから 肌のトーンをアップさせてあげるっていう 驚きの日焼け止めでしたね メイクの下地にしたい でも乾燥もしたくないし でも日焼けもしたくないっていう人には かなりいいんじゃないかなというふうに思います 次は本当に焼けたくないでいくと ロングUVAを改めてカットしましょう っていうようなことをおっしゃってるブランドも あるかなと思います 一番代表的なのが ラロッシュのUVトーンアップローズ そしてアスタリフトのUVシールドトーンアップ これ以前の動画でもご説明したんですけれども UV自体が全部光老化っていうものに関係してるんですが 特にロングUVAで名前の通り 波長が長いんですね 320から400ナノメートルぐらいの波長で長くて 真皮にも到達してしまうので コラーゲンとかエラスチンも壊してしまって たるみの進行を進めてしまったりとかっていうところがあるので やっぱり光老化では ロングUVAをどれだけカットするかってことが 命題みたいな感じになってるんですが SPFっていうのはUVAをカットするっていう指標なんですが UVAを総量をどれだけカットしてるかなので ロングUVAっていうもの自体をカットされてなくても 高く出すことはできるわけですよ 計算上 だけれども痒いところまで手が届くって言ったのが この2つになります 特にラロッシュさんは独自の紫外線吸収剤をお持ちで それがロングUVAまでしっかりとカバーできる 今までもずっと10年ぐらいその話はしてたんですけど 新しくまた2つのフィルターを入れて よりロングUVAをカットしていくっていうものになります トーンアップローズって国民的大ヒットだったと思うんで 1回は使ったことあると思うんですが ピンク寄りだったのがほんのりピンクで トーンアップをしてくれるっていう感じで アスタリフトの方はUVAフィルターを持ってるわけではないんですけども 処方をしっかりともう1回再構築することによって ロングUVAも限りなくカットできるっていうものになります 入っているビタミンCだったりとかも結構似ているんですけれども 皮膚科医としては耐水性も大事 膜が落ちないのも大事 だけれどもロングUVAちゃんとカットできてますよ っていうものに私は惹かれるので そういう意味ではラロッシュを使ってたりもするんですが 絶対焼きたくないがロングUVAまでカットしたいか どうかの意気込みがあるかで使い分けていただきたいし 海に行くとかだったら確かに膜なんですけれども 日中でも光老化を絶対抑えたいっていうのだったら この2つどちらかを選んでいただければいいんじゃないかな というふうに思います 最後に今期はプチプラさんもすごいよっていうところを 言うの忘れてたので触れたいなと思うんですが プチプラの王者といったらやっぱり 私このロートのヒアルロンセラムUVだと思うんですよ ロートといえば肌ラボ 肌ラボといえばヒアルロン酸ですよね ヒアルロン酸っていうのは保湿だけじゃなくて 例えばUVが当たった時に炎症がどんどん出るんですが その炎症をカットしてくれたりとかっていうところもあるんですね ヒアルロン酸で保湿もできるんですけれども UVが当たった時の炎症も抑えてくれるっていうものになります かなりみずみずしい仕様になっているので すごく気持ちがいいし 炎症エイジングを抑えるっていう意味では プチプラでここまでやってくれるのは素晴らしいなというふうに思います そしてビオレUVアクアリッチウォータリーホールドクリーム 去年限定で今年全国販売になったんですよ もう一つこのビオレUVアクアリッチウォータリーホールドクリーム マツモトキヨシとココカラファイン限定なんですよ 去年はこれがココカラファインさんとマツモトキヨシ限定だったのが 好評で全国発売 今回はホールドクリームが限定 だからもしかしたらこっちも来年全国販売になるのかなと思うんですけど 何が違うって こっちは紫外線散乱剤だけしか使ってないんですね それも紫外線散乱剤の中でも酸化亜鉛は抜きで 酸化チタンで作られていて それなのにSPF50 PAは3プラスになっちゃうんですけれども カット率を上げてます 正直やっぱ酸化亜鉛も使ってないし 紫外線吸収剤も使ってないんで ロングUVAとかはぶっちゃけカットはできてないとは思うんですけれども でもやっぱり紫外線吸収剤があんまり好きじゃないっていう方はいらっしゃるので そういう意味ではすごくいいんじゃないかなと思います ベタベタ感もないそこも素晴らしいなと思うんですが 私はどちらが好きかって言われたらこっちが好きなんですよね 別の動画で話をしてるんですけれども こっちは紫外線吸収剤も散乱剤も入っていて SPF50 PA4プラスなんですけれども なんといってもホイップみたいな付け心地が気持ちがいいです 一瞬真っ白になるんじゃないと思うんですけれども 気持ちが良くてベタベタ感がもう本当にないんですよ 私はどっちかっていうと ちゃんと紫外線をカットしたいっていうところがあるので 紫外線吸収剤が苦手な人はこっちがいいと思うんですが 吸収剤そんなに気にしない だけどベタベタ感も嫌だし プラスアルファ水満ちも担保したいし 焼けたくないしでプチプラで済ませたいという人は 私はどっちかっていうと こっちの方がいいんじゃないかなというふうに思います もうこれは好みかな でも本当に焼けたくないんだったら 絶対こっちだと私は思います もう一つはですね これも限定になるんですけれども 石澤研究所スキンケアUVエッセンスミストなんですよ 前はさビオレさんがミストで出したんですけれども 顔に直接塗らないでくださいっていうのがあったんですね それはやっぱりアルコールが結構入ってて 目に入ったら沁みるっていうところなんですが もちろんこれも目に入れちゃダメなんですけど これは顔にかけてもいいよっていうことをちゃんと書いてます アルコールは入ってないんですよね アルコールで飛ばすんじゃなくて 独自の技術でホールドさせるっていう技術を持っているので 残念ながらSPF35 PA++++なんですけれども 塗り直しが手軽にできるっていう意味でも すごくいいんじゃないかなというふうに思います そこでいうと塗り直しで神って言われているのがこれですよね アネッサのパーフェクトUVブラッシュオンパウダーです これはなんとパウダーなんですね 押すとブラシが出てきます このブラシの中から粉が出てきて 紫外線散乱剤が入っているので お化粧直しをするようにここに塗ってもらうと SPFが入っているパウダーがつくことによって 紫外線対策をしていくっていうものになるんですね SPFが50 PA++++になるんですけれども 粉ってムラになりやすいんですけれども 散乱剤が肌に乗った時にムラにならないように 整列できるような特殊技術が入っているんですね 使いやすいんですけど すごく気持ちがいいブラシになっているので 化粧直しもしながら日焼け止めも 塗り直しもしたいよっていう方には おすすめなんじゃないかなと思うので ポーチの中にも入れられるっていう意味では すごくいいかなと思いますし あとはニッチなところで言うと これねアリーのコンシーラーなんですよ コンシーラーを塗る場所っていうのは 日焼けをしやすいわけですよ シミがあるから オレンジが入っているものと あと白っぽいベージュ 混ぜて使ってもいいと思うんですが SPF50 PA++++なので 部分的に絶対ここは日焼けして シミができやすい場所っていうところに コンシーラーとして仕込んでいくっていう 日焼け止めとしても素晴らしいかなと思いますし あと髪の毛もしっかり守りたいっていう人は アリーからクロノスビューティヘアスタイリングバーム 髪にコーティングをしてくれて 予防してくれるっていうものになります ぴょんぴょん出てる髪の毛あるじゃないですか それをバームでこう抑えると ちょうど日焼けをする場所ってこの髪の毛で 紫外線が当たっちゃうと 髪の毛のダメージにつながるので そういう意味では ワックス代わりに使いながら 対策もできるっていう意味では すごくいいアイテムなんじゃないかな というふうに思います はい、ということで 長くはなったんですけれども 今季たくさん出ているので すごく難しいと思うんですよね 例えば通常はラロッシュなのか ファスナーなのか 使っていて プラスどっかお出かけするとき用の 耐水性がついているものを選ぶ用とか 塗り直しのために ハケだったりとか スプレーにする用とか 自分の用途に合わせて 一つだけじゃなくて 数種類持ってていただける時代になったんじゃないかな というふうに正直思います なので選ぶのが大変と思ったかもしれないんですけども 日焼けを止めるっていうことが 最大のアンチエイジングになりますので 今日の動画参考にしていただいて 決めていただければなと思います Hello everyone! I'm Arata Tomori. Today I'm introducing the ultimate 2025 sunscreen guide - this is all you need to know. 2025 has already brought out so many sunscreen products. You see them all over magazines, and honestly, I'm amazed at just how many options are available now. I've been a judge for magazine best cosmetics awards for nearly 15 years, and I've never seen sunscreen categories get this diverse. Previously, sunscreens were just grouped into one "sunscreen" section, but now we have multiple subcategories - some with great textures, some for anti-aging care, tone-up varieties, sensitive skin formulas - the categorization has expanded dramatically. This would have been unimaginable ten years ago. As a dermatologist, I'm honestly grateful for this evolution. However, I understand it can be overwhelming to find the right sunscreen for you, so I've gathered all the products I genuinely recommend and organized them by category. There are actually two to three times more new products than what I'm showing today, but I'll explain the characteristics of each and who they'd be best suited for, so please watch until the end. Given the sheer volume of options, let me break them down into broad categories. First and foremost, this year's trend is beauty serum effects in sunscreens. When I say beauty serum effect, a while back brands would simply add ingredients like tranexamic acid or niacinamide and call it a serum-like sunscreen. But this year, brands are incorporating their proprietary, signature ingredients with anti-aging benefits. Some are positioned as "apply like a beauty serum while protecting from UV." Others focus on creating durable films that don't come off easily. Some emphasize the pleasant feeling of reapplication. And finally, there are those aimed at people who absolutely don't want to get tanned. Let me introduce the beauty serum-type sunscreens packed with signature ingredients. The standout representative this year is definitely Faso's The Black Day Cream. Interestingly, it doesn't say "UV" on it - though SPF50 and PA++++ are listed. The name is The Black Day Cream, and it has a cream-like texture. It doesn't leave white residue and feels refreshing. Faso originally contains black sesame fermentation extract in the cream, which includes niacinamide, various amino acids, and metabolites that enhance skin transparency. This time, they've added black soybean fermentation extract, which promotes collagen and elasticity. So while it's cream-like, it combines black sesame extract for transparency and black soybean extract for firmness and elasticity support. This product has become a huge hit this season, and I featured it in my blog with Moché, receiving many requests to include it. It's been very well-received, so I think it's one of the representative sunscreens of the season. As a new brand entry, in the beauty community, people have been saying this competing product is also excellent. That would be Pola's White Shot Serum UV. Pola's White Shot is a flagship brightening product on par with Shiseido's whitening lines. While Pola isn't releasing a White Shot essence this season, they've released what could only be described as an essence-level UV product. Pola is particularly specialized in whitening with proprietary effective ingredients. What they focused on this time is an interesting discovery: when we sweat in hot summer weather, sodium is released. When dehydration occurs and UV exposure happens simultaneously, skin darkens more than with normal sun exposure. They've incorporated special ingredients to suppress this rapid darkening effect. They've also incorporated the accumulated knowledge from previous White Shot products - breaking down melanin clumps that have turned dark, suppressing melanin oxidation and production, protecting against temperature-induced damage. Additionally, they have an existing technology where the sunscreen film strengthens when absorbing sweat, so both the essence effect and film strengthening are layered. While it appears quite white initially, it spreads into a refreshing finish. Both Faso and Pola feel equally luxurious. Although there's no tone-up effect, it feels so pleasant you could use it as the final skincare step. If you want to prevent darkening and achieve thorough brightening, Pola's White Shot Serum UV comes highly recommended. It's packed with Pola's accumulated brightening expertise, making it the quintessential UV product for those prioritizing whitening. Next, another product loaded with signature ingredients is SK-II Genoptics CC Primer. The SK-II CC Primer has been released before, but this is a renewed version - think of it as an upgraded iteration. SK-II is synonymous with Pitera, the original fermented skincare ingredient. Created through Galactomyces fermentation, Pitera contains various metabolites backed by numerous academic studies demonstrating its ability to suppress spots, enhance barrier function, and reduce pro-inflammatory cytokines while increasing anti-inflammatory ones. So what new signature ingredient was added? Our skin has papillae and dermal ridges. Because the surface isn't flat, light cannot transmit properly when it enters. They discovered that flattening the papillae creates what's called "aura skin" with enhanced transparency. While Pitera contributes to this, they've added bisabolol - recognized as an effective whitening ingredient in Korea - which works synergistically with Pitera to create smoother skin texture. This combination also appears in their new Genoptics Aura Essence, and it's included here too. So it combines the latest serum technology with proven Pitera, which is already impressive. But the color is key - I particularly love the beige version. While I initially thought pink would be better, this beige is beautifully effective. It doesn't provide tone-up, but creates a veil-like effect that subtly conceals imperfections. Of course, pink works if you want more tone-up, but when your skin looks rough without makeup, this alone suffices. It also works perfectly as a makeup primer. Combining the latest whitening serum technology with UV protection is truly impressive. The packaging is also adorable - SK-II really nailed it. While different from signature ingredients, I was impressed by this next product. It's La Roche-Posay's Anthelios UV Repair. The name "Repair" indicates it contains skin-repairing ingredients similar to Cicaplast, which I love. Anthelios means it contains high UV-blocking technology. While offering strong UV protection, it repairs and protects skin. When would you use it? For example, after thermal beauty treatments - not puncture-based like radiofrequency needles, but heat-based procedures - it simultaneously soothes and provides sun protection. It just came out in April, and while I'll touch on the newly reformulated tone-up rose later, La Roche-Posay impressed me because using sunscreen after laser and aesthetic treatments is often recommended but rarely executed well. La Roche-Posay, originally prescribed by doctors in France, specifically includes repair ingredients. Similar to Cicaplast, it provides sun protection while repairing, making it UV protection plus extra benefits. While I recommend it always, it's especially ideal when your skin needs repair support. Next is Elixir's Day Care Revolution Brightening EA. It contains tranexamic acid, so you might assume it's standard whitening - but it's not. It includes Mito Care Essence, which targets mitochondrial care. You might wonder what mitochondria have to do with sunscreen from your biology class, but here's why it matters: UV exposure damages mitochondria. This triggers increased reactive oxygen species and increases MMP, a collagen-degrading enzyme, which lowers firmness and causes wrinkles. Shiseido discovered this and incorporated ingredients that promote mitochondrial repair even after UV exposure, creating this Elixir UV. So it boosts transparency with tranexamic acid while promoting mitochondrial repair for elasticity support - it's true signature ingredient technology. The colorless version has a thicker film compared to Pola or Faso. While thick film sounds sticky, it isn't - it's whether you prefer the refreshing feel or the film sensation. Like Faso, it offers more than just transparency with elasticity support, making it interesting. For durable films: the Pola Serum UV I mentioned includes signature ingredients AND unique membrane-strengthening technology, so both overlap. Then there's Shiseido's Perfect UV Protector Lotion. Just looking at it, you'd guess it's water and sweat-resistant. It uses Shiseido's proprietary technology where the film strengthens when absorbing water and sweat - slightly different but similarly effective. Beyond that, it strengthens with heat too, so the hotter it gets, the stronger the film becomes. As Japan's summers intensify, increasing both heat and perspiration, it strengthens from both. Additionally, it uses an "auto-repair formula" - when you smile or move your face, expressions can cause the film to separate, but this formula auto-repairs, maintaining even coverage despite facial movement. It also offers UV water resistance - old-school waterproof technology - providing double protection. Whether you absolutely refuse to tan or are going to hot beaches and resorts, this works wonderfully. It's available for both face and body use, making it ideal as summer approaches and you're planning overseas trips or outdoor activities. Finally, for durable films, consider this: Kosé's Shock UV Block Sunscreen Milk. Like Kosé's beloved Make Keep Mist that provides lasting makeup adherence, this uses similar film-fixing ingredients. Specifically, it contains trimethoxysilylsilicate. Kosé's proprietary polymers create mesh-like networks, not just maintaining sunscreen but protecting through these mesh structures - it's essentially a makeup-setting mist for sun protection. These powdery types resist removal, admittedly appearing whiter than others, but they provide the strongest protection. Kosé excels at emulsification technology, so even these powdery formulas don't leave a shiny or sticky feel despite lacking their famous fluffy texture - they're actually quite smooth. So it's like applying a make-keep mist - ideal for those who don't want makeup breakdown or sunscreen separation. As mentioned earlier, water resistance is crucial for durability, and interestingly, some unexpected products offer excellent water resistance. You see, this here is Elegance Aqua Clear Smooth Shield UV. Now, Elegance is a makeup brand, right? So honestly, I didn't have high expectations for their sunscreen. But when I looked closely, the UV water resistance has 2 stars, the same as Shiseido, so it's quite water-resistant. And since they're calling it Aqua Clear Smooth Shield, it's super watery. When you first apply it, you think it's white, but when you spread it, it actually turns into water. The moisture just gushes out like you wouldn't believe. And yet a thin film forms and repels water completely. So even though it's a makeup brand, the water resistance combined with this fresh feeling is really amazing. Actually, in the beauty industry, I hear a lot of praise for this Elegance sunscreen, especially from makeup artists. When you apply something heavy and sticky to the décolletage area, it can get on your clothes. Plus, the décolletage is a place that sweats easily, so products tend to come off. So considering the texture and water resistance, it's fine to apply it to the décolletage and neck as well. That said, Luna Sol's Glow Day Serum is also a makeup brand, right? So I didn't really have expectations for it as a sunscreen either. But this also embodies amazing technology and a pleasant feel. Before, Kanebo came out with Veil of Day, which creates a lamellar structure while providing sun protection. So what is this exactly? Normally, sunscreen has UV absorbers and scatter agents dissolved in the oil part. But this forms a film on the skin just like the skin's natural lamellar structure. By placing UV absorbers and scatter agents in the gaps between these lamellae, it's both dewy and has a thick film, so it protects from UV. But the texture is watery and it provides moisture. Now, Kanebo is part of the Kao Group. Luna Sol is also under the Kao Group, so they can create the same lamellar film as Veil of Day. So what's the difference from Veil of Day? Luna Sol itself is a makeup brand, so they put pigment and pearl in properly. So rather than covering with color, it contains lots of moisture plus the light reflection from the pearl gives a dewy, tone-up effect on the skin, which feels amazing. The pigment is a bit white, but they're not covering with white. Even though it's called a thick film, you don't really feel that the film is thick. You know when you use a sheet mask and your stratum corneum gets full of moisture, your complexion looks brighter? So it stores lots of moisture in the skin and with the added pearl, it gives a tone-up effect. It was a surprising sunscreen. For people who want to use it as a makeup base, don't want dryness, and don't want to get sunburned, I think this is really good. Next, if you really don't want to get burned, some brands are emphasizing that we should properly block long UVA. The most representative ones are La Roche Posay's UV Tone-Up Rose and Astaxanthin's UV Shield Tone-Up. I explained this in an earlier video, but UV is all related to photoaging. Especially with long UVA, as the name suggests, the wavelength is long. It's around 320 to 400 nanometers, so it reaches the dermis and damages collagen and elastin, accelerating sagging. So with photoaging, how much long UVA you block becomes the key issue. SPF is the index for blocking UVA, and it indicates the total amount of UVA blocked. So even if specific long UVA isn't blocked, theoretically the number can still be high. But these two products reach where others don't. Especially La Roche Posay has their own UV absorbers that can properly cover long UVA. We've been talking about this for about 10 years, but now they're adding two more filters to block even more long UVA. Tone-Up Rose was a huge national hit, I think most people have tried it. It had a pink tone, but now it's a subtle pink that provides tone-up. Astaxanthin doesn't have a UVA filter, but by thoroughly rebuilding the formula, they can block almost all long UVA. The vitamin C content is quite similar, but as a dermatologist, while water resistance is important and keeping the film intact is important, I'm drawn to products that properly block long UVA. So in that sense, I use La Roche Posay. Whether you absolutely don't want to get burned and how much you're committed to blocking long UVA will determine which you should use. If you're going to the beach, yes, the film matters. But if you absolutely want to suppress photoaging even during the day, I'd suggest choosing one of these two. Finally, I forgot to mention that drugstore brands are also great this season, so I want to touch on that. I think the king of drugstore brands is Rohto's Hyaluronic Serum UV. When you think Rohto, you think Hadalabo. When you think Hadalabo, you think hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid doesn't just moisturize; when UV hits, inflammation develops, but hyaluronic acid can cut that inflammation. So with hyaluronic acid, you get moisturization and inflammation suppression from UV exposure. It has a very dewy formula, so it feels great, and in terms of suppressing inflammation aging, I think it's amazing that a drugstore product does this much. And then there's Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Hold Cream. Last year it was limited, but this year it went nationwide. Another thing about this Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Hold Cream is that it's exclusive to Matsumotokiyoshi and Cocokara Fine. Last year this was limited to Cocokara Fine and Matsumotokiyoshi, but due to popularity it went nationwide. This time the Hold Cream is limited, so I'm thinking maybe next year it'll also go nationwide. What's the difference? This one only uses UV scatter agents. And among scatter agents, it doesn't use zinc oxide, only titanium dioxide. Yet it achieves SPF 50 and PA+++. But honestly, since it doesn't use zinc oxide or UV absorbers, it probably doesn't block long UVA much. But there are people who don't like UV absorbers, so in that sense it's really good. There's no stickiness either, which is amazing. But if asked which I prefer, I prefer this one. I talk about this in another video. This one has both UV absorbers and scatter agents and is SPF 50 PA++++. Most importantly, the whipped texture feels amazing. You might think it turns white instantly, but it doesn't. It feels great and there's virtually no stickiness. Personally, I want to properly block UV, so if you're sensitive to absorbers, this one is good. But if you don't really worry about absorbers and don't like stickiness and want moisture plus you don't want to get burned and want to manage it with drugstore products, I think this one might be better. Well, it comes down to preference. But if you really don't want to get burned, I definitely think it should be this one. Another thing that's also limited is Ishizawa Research Institute Skincare UV Essence Mist. Before, Biore came out with a mist, but there was a warning not to spray directly on the face. That's because it had quite a bit of alcohol that stings your eyes. Of course, you shouldn't get this in your eyes either, but it clearly says you can spray it on your face. It doesn't have alcohol. Rather than using alcohol to evaporate it, they have their own technology to hold it in place. Unfortunately, it's SPF 35 PA++++, but in terms of making touch-ups convenient, I think it's really good. Speaking of touch-ups, the one called godly is this one: Anessa's Perfect UV Blush On Powder. It's actually a powder. When you press, a brush comes out. Powder comes out from inside the brush, and since it contains UV scatter agents, when you apply it like you're touching up makeup, the powder with SPF on it provides UV protection. It's SPF 50 PA++++. Powder tends to be uneven, but there's special technology that allows the scatter agents to align properly so they don't look patchy when they land on skin. It's easy to use and the brush feels really good, so for people who want to touch up makeup and reapply sunscreen at the same time, I think it's recommended. Since it fits in your pouch, I think that's really good. And in a niche category, there's Allie's concealer. The place you apply concealer is where you tend to get sunburned easily because of spots. There's one with orange tone and white-ish beige, and you can mix them. It's SPF 50 PA++++, so you can strategically apply it as a concealer to areas that are prone to spots and sun damage, which is great as a sunscreen too. And if you really want to protect your hair, Allie has Chronos Beauty Hair Styling Balm. It coats the hair and provides protection. You know how there are flyaway hairs? When you hold them down with balm, those stray hairs are exactly where you tend to get sunburned, and UV damage affects hair, so using it as a wax alternative while protecting against UV is a really great product, I think. Okay, so to wrap up—it's been long, but there are so many products out season, so I think it's really difficult to choose. For example, you might normally use La Roche Posay or another brand, and then for going out, you choose something with water resistance. For touch-ups, you might use a brush or spray version. Depending on your needs, I honestly think we've reached an era where you have multiple types rather than just one. So choosing might seem difficult, but since blocking sun exposure is the ultimate anti-aging, please use today's video as a reference to decide. Okay, so that wraps up this long video. How was it?
