I've covered pores in various videos, and my recent video on "Causes and Solutions for Blackheads" has been getting a lot of views, which tells me just how much people struggle with this issue. Today, I'd like to introduce two all-in-one products that can help address pore concerns with just one simple step, so please watch until the end. First of all, there is no such thing as a person with absolutely no pores. Pores serve important functions — they secrete sebum and protect the skin from external factors. So the goal isn't to eliminate pores, but to make them less visible. Aim for pores that aren't visible when you hold your hand at arm's length from your face. Pore concerns also vary by age. People in their teens, 20s, and early 30s with very active sebum production — often called oily skin — tend to experience open pores and clogged pores due to excess oil. Those who are older or naturally have dry skin tend to have rougher skin texture that makes pores more noticeable. As we age further, sagging skin can lead to what's called "sagging pores." While they're all pores, the causes differ, so the approach needs to differ as well. People with oily skin often tend to be prone to acne and shine.
