Hello everyone! I'm Toa, a physician specializing in internal medicine and dermatology. Today I'd like to talk about inner care — beauty from the inside out. On this channel I've mainly covered skincare products, but of course taking care of your skin from the inside is just as important as from the outside. So today I'd like to introduce some inner care products developed by well-known cosmetics brands, each containing their own proprietary ingredients backed by research. Since these formulas are the result of each brand's dedicated studies, you can expect meaningful results. Please watch until the end! The first product is COSME DECORTÉ's "Whitlogist Overnight Inner Plus." I've actually started taking this myself recently. It comes in white tablet form. The key proprietary ingredient is proanthocyanidin, a type of polyphenol extracted from grape seeds. Proanthocyanidin is known to have an extremely powerful antioxidant effect — reportedly several times stronger than catechins, the well-known antioxidant found in green tea. Because it scavenges free radicals, it is expected to help prevent dark spots and improve dry skin. In addition to proanthocyanidin, it contains plant extracts to promote circulation, Bifidobacterium to support gut health, and pine ceramide to improve the skin's barrier function — all packed into one original formula. Its tagline is: "Wake up to a brighter complexion. You'll see the difference in 10 days." Having tried it myself, I do feel that my skin looks noticeably brighter. If you're concerned about dullness or frequent sun exposure, I highly recommend giving it a try. The second product is SOFINA IP's "Chlorogenic Acid" beauty drink. The packaging has recently been updated, but I'm showing an older version since I bought a large supply. What makes this drink special is that Sofina extracts chlorogenic acid from coffee beans using their own proprietary method, removing the caffeine in the process. Chlorogenic acid is a plant-based polyphenol found abundantly in coffee, and research has shown that it effectively increases the moisture content of the skin's stratum corneum. In a notable study, participants who consumed chlorogenic acid showed approximately 9 times higher cheek moisture levels and about 3 times higher shin moisture levels compared to those who did not. Since it works throughout the entire body, it's great not just for facial dryness but for dry skin all over, including hard-to-moisturize areas like the shins. The third product is POLA's "White Shot Inner Lock Liquid." While the White Shot sheet mask I introduced previously targets the skin from the outside, this drink targets it from the inside with what the brand calls "instant whitening" support. It contains POLA's proprietary "Paffia extract." POLA discovered that when skin is exposed to UV rays, melanocytes enlarge and then attract nearby melanocytes, causing them to multiply and grow even larger. The Paffia extract is expected to break down these enlarged melanocytes. If you tend to tan quickly after sun exposure and want to minimize darkening, this is the product to reach for. To summarize: COSME DECORTÉ's Whitlogist is recommended for those who want to brighten their complexion and address dullness from within; SOFINA IP's Chlorogenic Acid drink is ideal for those struggling with overall body dryness; and POLA's White Shot Inner Lock Liquid is best for those who are prone to tanning and want to counteract UV damage quickly.
