Hello everyone, this is Tomori Nitta. Today I want to introduce three affordable cleansing oils that are safe for both dry skin and oily skin like mine, so please watch until the end. When people hear "cleansing oil," they often think it's mainly for people with oily, shiny skin or concerns about pores. However, cleansing oil allows you to remove makeup without harsh rubbing, which means it can help reduce friction on the skin. In that sense, I think it's actually great for sensitive skin too, since it can minimize friction during cleansing. On the other hand, cleansing oils tend to strip away sebum, so they're often recommended for people with oily/shiny skin or pore concerns. However, cleansing oils have been continuously improving, and now even affordable options are available that don't leave skin feeling dry and contain beneficial ingredients safe for sensitive or dry skin. It might sound exaggerated to say these are especially recommended for people with dry skin, but I want to introduce three products that I think can be used with peace of mind. If you've been hesitant to try cleansing oil, please watch until the end. **Product 1: Kracie Bausei Cleansing Oil** Cleansing oil effectiveness is basically determined by the combination of oil and surfactant. The choice of oil especially affects how well it blends with the skin, and this is often reflected in the price. Plant-based oils are generally considered better for dry skin, but they tend to be more expensive. This cleansing oil is priced under 1000 yen, which is incredibly affordable. Does that mean it's not suitable for dry skin? Not necessarily. The base is an ester-type oil that blends well with skin and removes makeup effectively, combined with a non-ionic surfactant, which is also relatively gentle on the skin. While many cleansing oils use this kind of combination, this product also contains generous amounts of moisturizing ingredients—like a compound made of two glycerin molecules bonded together, providing solid hydration. What really stands out is that it's been through allergy testing, including patch tests conducted with the cooperation of people with sensitive skin. Allergy testing is costly, so it's rare to see this in affordable products—but having patch tests specifically for sensitive skin is a major reassurance. When I actually used it, the after-wash feel was somewhat refreshing/light, but moisture remained afterward. If you prefer the very refreshing feel of cleansing oil, this might feel slightly different, but I think it's a reassuring option for people with dry or sensitive skin. Thanks to the moisturizing ingredients, I also noticed smoother-looking skin texture after washing. For those with sensitive or dry skin who are afraid to try patch tests themselves, this well-balanced cleansing oil, backed by testing, is a great option. **Product 2: Hikuma Sake Rice-Made Plus Mild Cleansing Oil** This one feels like a particularly well-thought-out cleansing oil. Looking at the full ingredient list, corn germ oil and ethylhexyl palmitate are listed first. Corn germ oil might ring a bell for some—it's the same base oil used in Shu Uemura's cleansing oil. So this product falls into the gentle-on-skin category while still effectively removing makeup. Using only plant oils would raise the price, but by blending in ester-type oils that don't over-strip the skin, they've achieved good balance in both cost and gentleness. The surfactant used is also non-ionic, making it gentle on the skin. The name "Rice-Made" caught my attention—it turns out Kikumasamune, a sake brewery, has been researching rice, and this product contains rice bran oil, rice fermentation liquid, and rice bran glycosphingolipids. These are rice-derived ingredients that are precursors to ceramide. While they aren't ceramide itself, they can help support ceramide function or its production. Even though these ingredients get washed off, I feel these rice-derived moisturizing components can still work on the skin and help reduce dryness. It also contains three types of vitamin C derivatives, though these are likely more about the overall concept rather than fully remaining on the skin. There are also three types of ceramide and three types of amino acids—amino acids in particular contribute to the skin's barrier function. This product seems designed less for oily/shiny skin or pore concerns, and more for people who want gentleness on their skin while avoiding friction during cleansing. It's also paraben-free and contains no added color, making it a very skin-friendly cleansing oil overall. **Product 3: Cow Brand Additive-Free Makeup Remover Oil** This one doesn't contain plant oil—it's based on ester-type oil, and uses a nonionic surfactant (rather than non-ionic). Using it with wet hands may reduce cleansing power slightly, but compared to the other two, it's more usable with wet hands, which is a plus. The base is mineral oil, so compared to the other two products, it might remove a bit too much for sensitive skin. However, to compensate, it contains glycine, an ingredient essential for the skin's barrier function and one that's beneficial for sensitive skin. That said, since this is still a cleansing product, not all of the ingredient necessarily stays on the skin. Like the first product I introduced, this one also states that it has undergone patch testing with people who have sensitive skin. This is a huge plus—since sensitive skin tends to react easily to various ingredients, having this kind of testing done provides real peace of mind. When I tried it, it felt the most refreshing and thorough in removing makeup compared to the other two. But rather than feeling dry afterward, it removes makeup cleanly without a slippery residue. Some might associate that slippery feeling with moisture, so if you dislike the slippery texture typical of cleansing oils, this one might suit you better. It doesn't leave skin overly dry, and some moisture remains. And best of all, it can be used in the shower. I wear eyelash extensions, and this product is safe to use with them too, making it the easiest of the three to use in my case. **Wrap-up** Today I introduced three affordable cleansing oils that are safe to use even for sensitive or dry skin. As I mentioned at the beginning, cleansing oil can actually be great for sensitive or dry skin due to reduced friction—but the results vary depending on the cleansing power, the type of oil and surfactant used, and what moisturizing ingredients are included. If you're interested, please check out these three cleansing oils I introduced today. If you enjoyed today's video, please hit the like button and consider subscribing to the channel. I'll see you in the next video—goodbye!
