だから高分子なんだけれどもちゃんと入っていて そこでしっかりと水を維持できたり肌に張り感を持たせたらすごいいいですよね じゃあそれってどうやったらいいのかっていうのをすごくすごく研究して 研究の結果得られたのがモレキュシフトテクノロジーというものです このテクノロジーどんなテクノロジーかというとざっくり言うとですね 大きい高分子のヒアルロン酸を肌に乗せるときにキュッと小さくしてコンパクトにして肌の中に入れます で肌の奥に浸透したらこれを小さいものをポンと元に戻すっていう技術なんですね 言うのは簡単なんですけれどもそれはそれは大変な技術なんですよ 実はヒアルロン酸というのはもともとマイナスの電化をまとっているんですね マイナスとマイナスだから反発しあってちょっとぼやーっと大きくなっているんですよ だからこの大きくなっているものをコンパクトにするために磁石の応用でですね マイナスだからこそプラスの電気を持っているもので キュッと縮めてあげようっていうところ それぐらいだったらなんとなくわかるじゃないですか でもマイナスのものっていうのはいろんなものがあるから じゃあどのマイナスのものを入れたら本当にギュッとなるのかなっていうのと プラスアルファせっかくギュッとするプラスイオンのものを入れるとしても 肌にそのプラスイオンのもの自体が影響を与えるものの方がいいんじゃないかっていうことを 研究したところを見つけたのがマグネシウムイオンです マグネシウムイオンっていうのはプラスの電化なんですね あとマグネシウムっていうのは肌に乗せるとですね 実はヒアルロン酸の合成を促したりとか肌にもともとある抗酸化の成分である スペルミジンというものがあるんですが それの合成を促進するということも分かっているんですよ なのでマグネシウム自体もヒアルロン酸をアップさせて 例えば紫外線からのダメージとかを回避してくれるような 抗酸化の成分を上げてくれるっていうそれ自体も美肌作用があるんですけれども この大きいヒアルロン酸をマグネシウムイオンを入れることによって ちっちゃくして肌の奥の方に入れてあげるっていう技術を見出したんですね でもそれだけだと小さくして入れるっていうのは 今までも低分子にして入れるっていうだけじゃないですか 肝になるのはマグネシウムイオンでヒアルロン酸をコンパクト化して 肌の奥に入れたわけですけど このコンパクトになっているものをまたボンと膨張させるっていう技術が キレート剤を使いました キレート剤っていうのは金属イオン 例えばマグネシウムイオンとかもそうですよね 金属イオンの鎖を外して 要はくっついているものを剥がすっていうものがキレート剤になります これはいろんなところの技術で使われているんですが じゃあこのコンパクト化したヒアルロン酸を どのキレート剤を入れたらこれが元通りに大きなヒアルロン酸になるかっていうのを また研究に研究を重ねて見つけたのが メタン酸ナトリウムっていうキレート剤なんですよ なのでまずコンパクト化したヒアルロン酸を肌に入れます 肌に入れた後にそこにキレート剤が入っているものを塗布すると 肌の奥でボンとまた高分子のヒアルロン酸に戻ってくれて そこで肌にずっと残ってくれること じわじわと効果が出ることによって 肌に自然な張り感が出るし水分量をアップするっていう 魔法の技術なんですよ すごいですよね そんな技術を開発したのがやはり日本が誇る 化粧品会社資生堂さんになります 技術が開発されたといっても 私たちの手元に届かなければいらないじゃないですか で満を持して 今年の10月に発売されたのが このコンパクト化ヒアルロン酸 プラスそれをまた大きくする技術を入れた 2つの美容液になります それがこちら 資生堂ビオパフォーマンスです 2つって言ったんですけども 実はこれ2つセットです 2つセットでこんな感じのセットになってます これよく見たら分かると思うんですけれども ナイトとデイっていう風に書いてありますよね そう夜用と朝用という感じに分かれています というのもこの夜用にコンパクト化ヒアルロン酸が配合されていて 夜寝るときにお肌に塗って それがどんどんお肌に浸透していく だいたい8時間ぐらいあれば浸透するそうです それを朝起きたときにボンと膨らませるための 美容液がこの朝用になるわけです なのでこの2つで1セットで コンパクト化ヒアルロン酸を入れて浸透させて 朝大きくするっていうような 画期的なものになってます テクスチャーなんですけれども これ夜用ね こんな感じみずみずしい 本当にヒアルロン酸の美容液って感じです ただお肌にはスーッとなじんでいって やっぱりコンパクトヒアルロン酸っていうだけあって ヒアルロン酸の膜を張るような ベタベタ感っていうのはあんまりないですね スーッとお肌に染み込んで ほらもうなんかあんまりベタベタ感がほとんどないです そして朝用なんですけれども こちらはちょっと白くトロッとしたような 美容液になってます ただこれもですね やっぱり朝用なのであんまりベタつくっていう感じはないですね 本当にスーッと入っていって 保湿はされてますね 多少膜を張る感じではありますけれども 何かファンデーションとかそういったものを 邪魔するというような感じはありません ただ注意しなくちゃいけないのは やっぱり夜用と朝用をちゃんと使わなきゃいけないということ 忘れて夜用だけ塗ってしまっても これはコンパクト化ヒアルロン酸が大きくなることはないですからね 朝晩塗ることによって このコンパクト化ヒアルロン酸が 肌の奥できちんと高分子になってくれるので このみずみずしさとか張り感が出るので ちょっとお忘れなきようにという感じなんですが 私使ってみて不自然じゃない張り感っていうんですかね 私朝晩使ったらやっぱり張り感が全然違うなと 私はもともと顔がパーンと張った顔なので ヒアルロン酸の注入をしたいと思ったことはないんですけれども でも皮膚自体の張り感は欲しいわけですよ 皮膚自体を元気にしたいというか やっぱりそういったものって さっき冒頭でも話したように お注射で新しい次世代のヒアルロン酸というものが スネコスとかそういったものが出てきて 多少はあるんですけれども でもそれが化粧品でできるようになってるっていうのは すごいことだし やっぱり本当に内側からというよりは 肌自体の張りがあるので 肌がしっかりと張りがあるというか 子供の肌、赤ちゃんの肌とかそうじゃないですか 結構張りがあるから だからたるみも起こってこないような感じですよね なんかそんな感じで この肌自体が元気になるので なんとなくちょっともたつきとかも改善されるような これは本当個人の感想なんですが そういうふうな感じになってきます もちろん乾燥感とかもないし これからのもうちょっと乾燥してくる時期とかも いいんじゃないかなというふうに思っております 結構この美容・医療のトレンドも 埋めるようなヒアルロン酸じゃなくて 肌自体を元気にするヒアルロン酸というふうに傾いてたから 私ちょっと資生堂の研究員さんに聞いてみたんですよ これって知ってて寄せてきたんですかって言ったら そしたら違いますと やっぱり自分たち化粧品会社ができることっていうのを 突き詰めていったらこうなりましたっていうふうに おっしゃっていて 全然違うような視点から出てるんですけど トレンドというか皮膚のためにいいことっていうのは やっぱり共通してくるんだなって思って すごく感動しました なので私自身はもちろんそういう次世代の 美容・医療としてのヒアルロン酸をやりつつ こういったスキンケアを使えば より相乗効果が上がるんじゃないかなと 本当に思っております こちらのビオパフォーマンスのスキンフィラー もちろんお値段もちょっと張るんですけれども でもこういう最先端の技術が入っている化粧品を 試すって本当に楽しいなと思うので ちょっと肌に張り感を出したいという方は ぜひぜひチェックしてみてください いかがでしたか? Hello everyone, this is Arata Yoritoshi. Today I'd like to introduce one of the skincare items that impressed me the most this season. When you hear about hyaluronic acid injections, do you have a negative image? Recently, rather than using hyaluronic acid for volume, it's becoming more about hydration, and in the beauty industry, new hyaluronic acid formulations have been appearing in large numbers. Previously, the goal was volume enhancement in areas with volume loss, but now the trend is toward hydrated, plump skin with natural lift, rather than overly tight skin. However, this typically requires going to clinics for injections and such treatments. Wouldn't it be amazing if you could do this at home? So today, I'd like to introduce the latest hyaluronic acid serum from Shiseido Beauty Bioperformance. Hyaluronic acid is something very familiar to everyone. It's included in many cosmetics, increases skin moisture content, and makes skin dewy. Hyaluronic acid exists in both the epidermis and dermis, and when epidermal hyaluronic acid increases, skin firmness improves significantly. However, unfortunately, with aging, epidermal hyaluronic acid decreases, causing skin to lose firmness and dewiness, becoming somewhat saggy. So many cosmetics aim to supplement hyaluronic acid. However, hyaluronic acid as an ingredient, while having strong water-pulling and firming properties, has large molecular weight, meaning large particles that don't penetrate skin easily. Recognizing this, various cosmetic companies researched and developed smaller hyaluronic acid. Now, large hyaluronic acid forms a film on the stratum corneum surface, while small hyaluronic acid penetrates deeper into skin. High-molecular and low-molecular hyaluronic acid have become mainstream in various cosmetics. So if you're thinking, "Doctor, isn't hyaluronic acid serum a bit outdated?" - well, that's exactly what they researched. Low-molecular hyaluronic acid, being small particles, does penetrate deeper into skin. However, logically, larger particles hold more moisture, right? While small particles go deep, they hold less moisture, which is true. High-molecular hyaluronic acid maintains moisture better and creates better skin firmness. So high-molecular doesn't penetrate well but has high functionality, while low-molecular penetrates but has lower functionality. They compensated by adding more low-molecular, but wouldn't it be great to have the best of both? So if they could incorporate high-molecular hyaluronic acid that actually penetrates, maintains water, and provides firmness - that would be incredible. How could they achieve this? Through extensive research, they developed what's called Molecule Shift Technology. To explain this technology simply, when applying large high-molecular hyaluronic acid to skin, they compress it to make it compact so it penetrates into the skin. Then when it reaches deep in the skin, it expands back to its original size. It sounds simple, but it's actually a difficult technology. Hyaluronic acid naturally carries negative charge. Since negative repels negative, it naturally becomes larger and diffuse. To make this compact, using magnetic principles, they tried adding something with positive charge to compress the negatively charged hyaluronic acid. That much makes sense, right? But since there are various negatively charged things, they had to figure out which one would truly compress it. Additionally, when adding positively charged ions to compress, they wanted to choose something beneficial to skin itself. The answer they found was magnesium ions. Magnesium ions carry positive charge. When applied to skin, magnesium actually promotes hyaluronic acid synthesis and promotes the synthesis of spermidine, an antioxidant component naturally present in skin. So magnesium itself increases hyaluronic acid and boosts antioxidant components that protect from UV damage - it has beautifying properties on its own. By adding magnesium ions to large hyaluronic acid, they found a technology to compress it and deliver it deep into skin. But that alone would just be making it small and penetrating, like they'd already done with low-molecular forms. The key is compacting hyaluronic acid with magnesium ions and delivering it deep into skin, then expanding it again using chelating agents. Chelating agents remove metal ion chains - they detach bonded elements. This technology is used in various fields. They had to research extensively which chelating agent would return the compacted hyaluronic acid to its original large form. They discovered sodium methanate as the chelating agent. First, they deliver compacted hyaluronic acid into skin. After that, when they apply something containing the chelating agent, it causes the hyaluronic acid deep in the skin to expand back into high-molecular hyaluronic acid, where it remains in skin. With effects appearing gradually, it creates natural skin firmness and increases moisture - it's truly magical technology. This amazing technology was developed by Shiseido, Japan's pride among cosmetic companies. Even if technology is developed, it means nothing if it doesn't reach consumers. Launching in October this year is this compacted hyaluronic acid serum paired with technology to expand it - it's a two-step serum system. This is Shiseido's Bioperformance. I said two serums, but actually it's a set. A two-product set that looks like this. If you look closely, you'll see it says "Night" and "Day." That's right - it's split into night and day formulations. The reason is that this night formula contains compacted hyaluronic acid. You apply it before bed and it gradually penetrates skin - it takes about 8 hours to fully penetrate. The day serum is designed to expand it when you wake up in the morning. So with these two products as one set, you insert the compacted hyaluronic acid and let it penetrate, then expand it in the morning - it's truly innovative. As for texture, the night formula feels like this - very dewy, truly feels like a hyaluronic acid serum. But it blends into skin smoothly, and true to being compacted hyaluronic acid, there's not much sticky film-forming feeling. It absorbs smoothly into skin - see, there's almost no stickiness. The day formula is slightly white and has a gel-like texture. But because it's a day formula, it's not particularly sticky either. It absorbs quickly and provides hydration. There's slightly a film-forming feel, but it doesn't interfere with foundation application. However, one important thing to note is that you must use both night and day formulas. If you forget and only apply the night serum, the compacted hyaluronic acid won't expand. Only by applying both morning and night does the compacted hyaluronic acid properly convert to high-molecular form in skin, giving you that dewiness and firmness. So please don't forget. Using it myself, I'd describe the firmness as natural. When I use both morning and night, the firmness is completely different. I naturally have a firm, full face, so I've never wanted hyaluronic acid injections. But I do want skin firmness itself - I want the skin to be more vibrant. As I mentioned earlier, with next-generation injectable hyaluronic acid like Sunekos becoming available, there are options. But the fact that this is now achievable in skincare is incredible. Rather than relying on internal fillers, the skin itself has firmness. Think about children's and babies' skin - they have natural firmness, so they don't sag. In that way, when skin itself becomes more vibrant, minor sagging improves somewhat - this is just my personal observation. Of course there's no dryness, and it should work well as we enter the drier season. Since beauty and medical trends have been shifting from filling with hyaluronic acid to energizing skin with hyaluronic acid, I asked a Shiseido researcher about this. I asked, "Did you know about this trend and develop accordingly?" They answered, "No." They said they just pursued what they could do as a cosmetics company, and this is what resulted. It comes from a completely different perspective, but I realized that regardless of the source, what's beneficial for skin tends to converge. I was deeply moved. So for myself, while pursuing next-generation aesthetic medical hyaluronic acid treatments, I believe using skincare like this can create synergistic effects.
