Recently, many cosmetic brands operate exclusively through online sales without distributing to physical stores. This likely helps reduce costs and allows them to fully highlight their unique technologies. I hope some of you will discover products you didn't know about, or find surprising details. Today, I'll introduce five items whose ingredients I consider outstanding. 【1】N organic Enrich & Concentrate Mask / Wrinkle Pack Essence Mask The Enrich & Concentrate Mask focuses on "tightening and plumping," containing Vitamin C derivative and Glyceryl Glucoside. Vitamin C derivatives are known for whitening effects, pore tightening, and promoting collagen and elastin synthesis. The other ingredient, Glyceryl Glucoside, is a remarkably effective component. Originally found in desert plants, it has the ability to absorb and retain even small amounts of moisture, giving it excellent hydrating properties. Beyond that, it's also known to suppress melanin production and promote the synthesis of filaggrin, a protein that forms the stratum corneum. In other words, this ingredient supports whitening, hydration, and barrier function all at once. The black-colored one, the Wrinkle Pack Essence Mask, contains an ingredient called Bakuchiol. Bakuchiol is often referred to as "natural retinol." Retinol (a Vitamin A derivative) is well known for wrinkle improvement, but it can cause redness or irritation in some people. Bakuchiol has been gaining attention as a next-generation alternative to retinol. It's still rarely used in Japanese products, but this item incorporates it. It's a great option for those who couldn't use Vitamin A due to sensitivity. It also contains plant-derived ceramides, making it beneficial for fine lines caused by dryness. 【2】Macherie Label Micro Bubble Lotion This product has a ball-like object inside the bottle, and shaking it creates bubbles. This ball is a unique stirring device that generates "micro bubbles" — bubbles far smaller than pores and invisible to the eye. Shaking the bottle generates micro bubbles within the lotion, which enhances the lotion's penetration into the skin. While this stirring-ball technology has recently started appearing in cleansers, Macherie Label is reportedly the first to apply it to a lotion. In terms of ingredients, it contains Niacinamide (effective for wrinkles and whitening), human-type ceramide, and Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, which has anti-inflammatory properties. For those with sensitive skin who are wary of chemical-based penetration enhancers, this bubble-based approach may offer peace of mind. The texture is pleasantly viscous, and I personally enjoyed using up an entire bottle myself. 【3】Rice Clear Serum No.6 This is a clear, slightly viscous serum. As the name suggests, it contains the active ingredient Rice Power No.6, known for regulating excessive sebum production. While lotions containing this ingredient exist, a serum you can apply to specific areas is somewhat unique to this line. It uses a non-comedogenic formula, making it ideal for spot application on areas like the nose or chin where sebum tends to be an issue, while using a different lotion for overall hydration. 【4】Maihada Hydrating Lotion This product contains Rice Power No.11, an ingredient I've previously dedicated an entire feature video to. Unlike typical moisturizing ingredients such as ceramide or hyaluronic acid that simply "supply" moisture, Rice Power No.11 supports the skin's own ability to generate moisture. This makes it especially beneficial for those with dry skin. The Maihada series uses this ingredient not only in lotion form but also in an edible jelly I introduced before. If you haven't checked it out yet, I highly recommend doing so. 【5】Fumie Moist Aging Care Lotion "Fumie" is a brand created by makeup artist Shinobu Inoue, well known for its adorable makeup items, but its skincare line is equally impressive. This Moist Aging Care Lotion contains two types of placenta extract and six types of ceramide, focusing heavily on hydration. While placenta is also recognized as an approved whitening active ingredient, this product emphasizes moisturizing instead. One of the two placenta extracts, "Fermented Brown Sugar Placenta Extract," is created by further fermenting standard placenta extract, resulting in a higher amino acid content and therefore greater hydrating power than regular placenta extract. Combined with six types of ceramide — including human-type and pseudo-ceramides — this lotion delivers deep hydration. When I once worked alongside Inoue-san, I was impressed by how thoroughly she moisturized the skin before applying makeup, which made the skin look beautifully radiant. Knowing her expertise in makeup, I felt this lotion, designed to plump and hydrate the skin, truly reflects her skill — which is why I wanted to share it with you.
