みなさんこんにちは。友利新です。今日はですね、またまたビオレさんがやってくれたよっていうお話なんですけれども、何をやってくれたかっていうとそう、すごい日焼け止めを出してきてくれました。 ビオレさんと言ったらアクアリッチっていう去年は限定で出たものがあって、本当にみずみずしくて紫外線散乱剤しか入ってないよっていうやつが出たと思うんですけども、その時にも私解説してすごい大興奮でやったんですけれども、そこをまた超えてきてるすごい日焼け止めを出してきてくれました。 それがこちら、ビオレUVアクアリッチ エアリーホールドクリームです。 一つだけ残念なのはこれね、まだ限定発売なんですよ。マツキヨさんとココカラファインさん限定のものになります。 これどういう日焼け止めかっていうと、名前がエアリーホールドクリームって書いてあるじゃないですか？塗り心地がめちゃくちゃいいっていうところもそうなんですけれども、日焼け止めって乾燥するし、あと皮脂が出ちゃうとベトベトして取れちゃうみたいなところがあるじゃないですか。 そういったものも一切なくして、今まで夏って湿度が高い、汗をかいて崩れる、だけれどもエアコンの中に行くと乾燥する。日焼け止めを塗ってると、乾燥したらこの日焼け止めが放出してくれるし、汗を閉じ込めてくれる。魔法のような日焼け止めになっています。 それをどういう技術でしているかというと、花王のカプセル化技術になっています。花王さんって膜がすごいんだよなと、すごいなと思う人たちを集めたら全部花王グループだったっていうところもあるんですが、今回はカプセル化技術なんですよね。 今回ビオレさんがやっているのは、カプセルの中にいかに全部コンパクトにまとめるかっていうような感じになっています。特に日焼け止めに関しては2つのカプセル化技術を使っていて、まず1つは前回のアクアリッチのUVに使われている方法なんですが、固体ミクロカプセルっていうものになるんですね。 ちっちゃいカプセルの中に紫外線散乱剤を入れて、日焼け止めを塗った時にちっちゃいカプセルがきちんと整列することによって膜を作ることによって、散乱剤だけでも日焼け止め効果を出すよっていうものが以前の技術だったんですが、今回入っているものは寒天ハイドロカプセルっていうまた違うものになっています。 もともと日焼け止めっていうのは紫外線散乱剤と吸収剤どっちも入ってますよね。前回のアクアリッチは散乱剤だけだったんですけど、こっちは散乱剤も吸収剤も入っています。ただ日焼け止め効果を高くしたかったら、やっぱり吸収剤も散乱剤もたくさん入れなきゃいけないんだけれども、吸収剤も散乱剤も実はお水じゃなくて油に溶けるっていう性質があるんですね。 昔前だと油をいっぱい入れなきゃいけなかったんですよ。でもそうするとベタベタして気持ち悪いっていうことになりますよね。なので油っぽさを感じないようにみずみずしくするために、寒天ハイドロカプセルっていう中に紫外線吸収剤と油、もう一つには紫外線散乱剤と油っていうものをしっかりと入れ込んだカプセルをそれぞれ作ってるんですね。 なのでカプセルの外のところには油が一切入っていないんですよ。寒天のカプセルって大きいので紫外線吸収剤だったり散乱剤だったりが入ることができるんですね。肌に乗せるとそのカプセルが割れて、その中から油分とそれに溶けている紫外線吸収剤だったり散乱剤が出てくるっていうものになります。 だけれどもカプセルが割れるまではお水の中にこのカプセルが浮いているので、塗った瞬間はめちゃめちゃみずみずしいし、カプセルが弾けた時に紫外線散乱剤だったり吸収剤が出てくるので、塗った後もしっとり感が続くっていうカプセルになってるんですね。 寒天ハイドロカプセルっていうのは水のパックっていう少し前に出た水分パックUVっていうものにも使われてるんですよ。なのでこの寒天ハイドロカプセルっていうのは今回初めて使われたわけじゃなくて、もともとあったからこそ水分を抱え込んだり放出できたりするっていうところになったんですけど、ポイントっていうのが高吸水性のポリマー剤っていうものになります。 この図にあるようにカプセルが浮いているお水のところに、高吸水性のポリマー剤っていうものを入れてるんですね。どういったものに入ってるかっていうと、あの枕とかですよ。枕って汗を吸ったりするじゃないですか。汗をかいたら吸うんだけれども、乾燥してるところになったら放水するっていう。これ自体は今までもあったんですけれども、吸水性のゲルっていうのは水にしか溶けなくて、油があると溶けづらくなるらしいんですよ。カプセル化技術があるからこそ、吸水性のゲルがちゃんと溶け込ませたUVが作れたっていうところになるんですね。 例えば肌の水分量が多い、汗をかいた時っていうのは、ポリマーがちゃんと抱えてくれるわけですよ、お水を。だけれども室内に入って乾燥してるなと思ったら、ポリマーが抱えてる水分が自然と放出されて乾燥感がなくなるっていう、超絶お利口さんだと思いません？ なのでこれから先ね、気温が高くなってむしむしして汗をかいても崩れないし、逆に室内に入った時にエアコンの乾燥でもまた崩れないっていう、すごいですよね。カプセルの技術があったからこそできたことなので、やっぱり段階を踏んでるなっていう風に思います。 テクスチャーもすごく面白くて、ホイップクリームみたいなんですよ。塗り広げるとお水がジュッジュッと出てきてるようなイメージです。ピタッとくっついてベタベタ感が全然なくなってくるんですね。 例えば塗った後って日焼け止めってベトつくからついちゃうじゃないですか。でも時間が経つと表面のベタベタ感は全くなくなるんですけど、内側は潤ってるっていうのがすごくわかる。この説明を聞かなくても、塗ってお水がジュッと出てきて肌に入っていく。このお水が肌に行き渡ったなと思ったら、表面っていうのがサラサラに変わっていくっていうようなイメージになるので、新感覚の日焼け止めだなと思います。 顔はもちろんなんですけど、首とか手の甲とかって日焼け止めをつけておくと、お洋服だったり擦れたりすると嫌だなとか、手とかもベタベタしたら嫌だなと思うかもしれないんですけど、全身に塗ってもクリームを塗ったような感じになるので、すっごく塗りたくなる。塗らなくちゃじゃなくて塗りたくなる日焼け止めだなという風に思いました。 成分ももちろん大事なんですけれども、カプセル化だったりっていう処方が素晴らしいからこそ、毎日塗りたくなるなとか使いたくなるなっていうようなアイテムができるっていうのは、やっぱり大手さんしかできないなと思うし、やっぱりこのカプセル化技術っていうのは花王さんが持ってる本当にすごい技術なんじゃないかなという風に思うので、ただ残念ながらマツキヨ、ココカラファインさん限定でしかないので、気になる方は早めにチェックしていただいて。これが好評だったら来年は全国展開できるんじゃないかなと思いますし。 私、あまりにもすごかったから研究員さんに『すごくないですか』っていう話をして、吸水ゲルをお水の中に入れられたっていうのは、寒天カプセルの中に油を全部入れ込んでいるっていうところがポイントなんですよ。油があると溶けない成分ってたくさんあるので、お水に溶ける成分っていうのはいっぱいあるから、今後ももしかしてこのお水に溶ける系の何か入れようと思ってませんって言ったら、『えっ』みたいに、いや『ちょっと』みたいに濁してたんで、絶対来年とか再来年にはもっと画期的な技術を花王さんが開発してくれるんじゃないかなと、私がこれを予言みたいにしておきますので、来年『ほらあの時に言ったでしょ』っていうのがまた出るのも楽しみだし、カプセル化技術だったり吸水ゲルの楽しさだったりを体験するためにも、ぜひチェックしてみてください。 ということで今日はビオレさんがすごいことやってくれたよっていう日焼け止めを紹介してみました。このチャンネルではこのように化粧品の深掘りだったりとか、成分だけじゃなくて処方だったり技術の素晴らしさをご紹介していますので、よかったらチャンネル登録お願いします。毎週火曜日にはメンバーシップ限定のライブもしています。メンバーシップ月額90円にはなりますけれども、ぜひ参加していただけると嬉しいです。ではまた次の動画でお会いしましょう、さよなら。

Hello everyone, this is Arata Tomori (Arata Tomori). Today I want to talk about how Biore has done it again — what did they do this time? They released an amazing sunscreen! Speaking of Biore, last year they released a limited edition called Aqua Rich, which was truly watery and contained only UV scattering agents. I explained it back then with huge excitement, but this time they've released a sunscreen that surpasses even that one. This is the Biore UV Aqua Rich Airy Hold Cream. The only disappointing thing is that it's still a limited release, available only at Matsukiyo and Cocokara Fine. So what kind of sunscreen is this? As the name 'Airy Hold Cream' suggests, the application feel is amazing, but that's not all. Sunscreens tend to dry out the skin, and when sebum comes out, they get sticky and rub off. This product eliminates all of that. Until now, in summer with high humidity, you sweat and your makeup breaks down, but then when you go into air conditioning, your skin dries out. This sunscreen releases moisture when your skin dries out, and locks in moisture when you sweat. It's like a magical sunscreen. What technology makes this possible? Kao's capsule technology. Whenever I think 'wow, this membrane technology is amazing,' it always turns out to be a Kao Group company — and this time it's capsule technology again. What Biore has done this time is figure out how to compactly fit everything inside a capsule. Specifically for this sunscreen, they use two capsule technologies. The first is the method used in the previous Aqua Rich UV — solid micro-capsules. Tiny capsules containing UV scattering agents are applied to the skin, and when they align properly, they form a film, allowing the scattering agent alone to provide sun protection. That was the previous technology, but this time they've added something different: agar hydro-capsules. Originally, sunscreens contain both UV scattering agents and UV absorbing agents. The previous Aqua Rich only had scattering agents, but this one has both scattering and absorbing agents. However, to increase sun protection, you need to add a lot of both absorbing and scattering agents — but the thing is, both of these actually dissolve in oil, not water. In the past, you had to add a lot of oil to dissolve these agents. But that makes the product feel sticky and unpleasant. So, to avoid that oily feel and keep things watery, they created separate capsules — one containing UV absorbing agent plus oil inside an agar hydro-capsule, and another containing UV scattering agent plus oil. So there's no oil outside the capsule at all. Since the agar capsules are large, they can hold the UV absorbing or scattering agents. When applied to the skin, the capsule breaks, releasing the oil and the dissolved UV agents. However, until the capsule breaks, it floats in water, so the moment you apply it, it feels incredibly watery. Then, when the capsule bursts and releases the UV agents, it maintains a moisturized feeling even after application. This agar hydro-capsule technology was also used in a product called 'Water Pack UV' that was released a bit earlier. So this isn't the first time this technology has been used — it's precisely because it already existed that it can now hold and release moisture. The key point this time is the highly water-absorbent polymer. As shown in this diagram, the highly water-absorbent polymer is placed in the water where the capsules float. Where else is this kind of material used? Think of pillows — they absorb sweat. When you sweat, they absorb it, but in a dry environment, they release moisture. This concept has existed before, but water-absorbent gels apparently only dissolve in water and become hard to dissolve when oil is present. It's precisely because of the capsule technology that they were able to properly incorporate a water-absorbent gel into this UV product. For example, when your skin has a lot of moisture — like when you sweat — the polymer properly holds onto that water. But when you go indoors and it feels dry, the polymer naturally releases the moisture it's holding, eliminating that dry feeling. Isn't that incredibly clever? So going forward, as temperatures rise and you sweat in the humidity, your makeup won't break down — and conversely, when you go indoors into dry air conditioning, it won't break down either. That's amazing. This was only possible because of the capsule technology, so I really feel they've taken this development step by step. The texture is also very interesting — it's like whipped cream. When you spread it, it feels like water is bursting out. It sticks to the skin and the stickiness completely disappears. For example, after applying sunscreen, it usually feels sticky and things stick to your skin. But over time, the surface stickiness completely disappears while the inside stays moisturized — you can really feel that. Even without this explanation, you can tell: when you apply it, water bursts out and sinks into the skin. Once that water has spread throughout the skin, the surface transforms into a smooth, non-sticky feel. It really feels like a new sensation in sunscreen. Of course it's great on the face, but also on the neck and back of the hands — areas where you might worry about sunscreen rubbing off on clothes or feeling sticky on your hands. But when applied all over the body, it feels just like applying a cream, so you really want to apply it everywhere. It's not a sunscreen you feel obligated to apply — it's one you actually want to apply. Of course, ingredients matter, but it's precisely because of the wonderful formulation — like this capsule technology — that they've created a product people want to use and apply every day. This is something only a major company could achieve, and I really think this capsule technology is an incredible technology that Kao possesses. Unfortunately, it's currently limited to Matsukiyo and Cocokara Fine stores, so if you're interested, check it out early. If it's well received, I think it could expand nationwide next year. I was so impressed that I asked the researchers, 'Isn't this amazing?' The fact that they managed to incorporate a water-absorbent gel into water is all thanks to encapsulating all the oil inside the agar capsule. Since there are many ingredients that won't dissolve in the presence of oil, and there are plenty of ingredients that dissolve in water, I asked them if they were planning to incorporate more water-soluble ingredients like this in the future. They responded evasively with reactions like 'huh' and 'well, kind of...' so I'm confident that next year or the year after, Kao will develop an even more revolutionary technology. I'm putting this out there as my prediction, so I'm looking forward to being able to say 'I told you so' next year.
