皆さん、こんにちは。智子です。今日は、絶対にバズるであろうドラッグストアコスメが発売になったので、いち早く皆さんにご紹介したいと思います。 それがこちら、「ザ・レチノタイム ホワイト」です。「レチノタイム」と聞いて「あれ？」と思った方はさすがです。以前、茶色いパッケージの「ザ・レチノタイム リンクルローション」をこのチャンネルでご紹介しました。これはマツモトキヨシとココカラファインのプライベートブランドで、ナリス化粧品と共同開発した化粧品です。このリンクルローションにはナイアシンアミドとパルミチン酸レチノールが配合されていて、「すごいですよ」とご紹介したのを覚えている方もいるかもしれません。 そこから今回、パッケージが白くなり「ホワイト」という名前からも分かる通り、美白ラインが新登場しました。私がこれを知ったきっかけは、美容雑誌の付録情報で「次の付録はザ・レチノタイム ホワイト」と書かれていたことです。「え、レチノタイム ホワイトが出るの？」と思っていろいろ検索したところ、リリースを見つけました。6月1日発売ということで、皆さんにいち早くご紹介したいと思い、この動画を撮っています。 もともとの「ザ・レチノタイム」シリーズには、シワ改善の有効成分であるナイアシンアミドと、有効成分としては認められていないもののビタミンA誘導体であるパルミチン酸レチノールが配合されています。パルミチン酸レチノールは「守りのビタミンA」と呼ばれ、肌にしっかりと補うことで、長期的な使用により肌のハリ感などを高めてくれる保湿成分です。 今回の「ホワイト」シリーズには、このダブルの成分に加えて、新たにビタミンC誘導体が配合されました。配合されているのはアスコルビン酸グルコシドという安定型のビタミンC誘導体です。ビタミンCが加わることで美白効果も期待でき、ナイアシンアミドのシワ改善効果と合わせてダブルで効いてくると思います。もちろんパルミチン酸レチノールも入っているので、日中の「守りのビタミンA」としても優秀です。 ナイアシンアミド、パルミチン酸レチノール、そしてビタミンC誘導体。この3つが入っているだけでもすごいのに、それがドラッグストアで買えるというのは本当にすごい時代になったなと思います。ラインナップは乳液、化粧水、拭き取り化粧水、そして美容液という構成でした。 それだけでもすごいと思ったのですが、美容液にはさらにすごい秘密が隠されていました。「ザ・レチノタイム ホワイト ホワイトニングエッセンス」には、先ほどのビタミンC誘導体、パルミチン酸レチノール、ナイアシンアミドに加えて、もう一つ素晴らしい成分が配合されています。それが「リノール酸メンチル」という成分です。 このリノール酸メンチルは、実は2008年の日本皮膚科学会でも取り上げられた成分です。紫外線が当たるとメラノサイトが活性化し、チロシナーゼという酵素が活性化されることでメラニンが作られていきます。多くの美白有効成分は、このチロシナーゼの活性を抑えたり、炎症を抑えたりすることでメラニン生成を防いでいます。リノール酸メンチルにもこのチロシナーゼを抑制する働きがあることが分かっていて、それが2008年の皮膚科学会誌で発表されています。ビタミンC自体も抗炎症・美白効果がありますが、別のアプローチでチロシナーゼの活性を抑えることで、さらに美白効果を高めているのだと思います。 ちなみにこの商品、ナリス化粧品が共同開発しています。実はナリス化粧品はとても研究熱心な会社で、2018年に興味深い特許を出願しています。それが先ほどのリノール酸メンチルに関するものです。リノール酸メンチル自体は特許のある成分ではないのですが、2018年にリノール酸メンチルとカワラヨモギエキスを組み合わせた複合成分を新たに開発し、発表しています。 リノール酸メンチルにはチロシナーゼの活性を抑える働きがあるとお話ししましたが、そこにカワラヨモギエキスを加えることで、紫外線による炎症も抑えることができます。紫外線が当たると炎症が起こり、プロスタグランジンE2という炎症を伝える物質が放出されます。この炎症性物質が出ることで、メラノサイトが活性化し、チロシナーゼも活性化する、という一連の流れが起こるため、プロスタグランジンE2を抑えることも美白のポイントになります。 皆さんは日焼けをしたときや炎症が起きたとき、冷やすと楽になった経験はありませんか？実はこのプロスタグランジンE2は、冷たさを感じる受容体が働くことで活性が抑えられることが分かっています。ぶつけたときや日焼けしたときにとりあえず冷やす、というのはこの仕組みによるものです。 2018年、ナリス化粧品はこのプロスタグランジンE2の活性を抑えるために、冷たさを感じる受容体を、実際に冷やさなくても活性化できる成分を開発しました。それが先ほどのリノール酸メンチルとカワラヨモギエキスの複合成分で、2018年に特許出願されています。 残念ながら今回の「ホワイトニングエッセンス」にはリノール酸メンチルのみの配合ですが、ナリス化粧品はこうした独自の研究や特許を数多く持っている会社なので、ドラッグストアとの共同開発によって素晴らしい製品が生まれているのだと思います。いつか、リノール酸メンチルとカワラヨモギエキスの複合成分が搭載される日が来るかもしれません。やはり独自の技術を持っている会社は強いなと改めて感じました。 その他にも「クリアローション」という拭き取り化粧水もラインナップされていました。拭き取り化粧水は摩擦が気になるという方もいらっしゃると思いますが、ゴシゴシこすらず、コットンで優しく「つけて、取る」という使い方であれば問題ないと思います。成分を見ても、酸などで角質を無理に取り去るタイプではなく、独自の角質柔軟成分が配合されているので、よほど敏感な肌でない限り、通常肌の方であれば問題なく使えると思います。 今日も少し興奮気味にお話ししてしまいましたが、本当にすごいですよね。ドラッグストアコスメがどんどん進化していて、ドラッグストアとナリス化粧品のようなメーカーがタッグを組むことで、市場全体がさらに大きくなり、これからも素晴らしい製品が出てくるのではないかと思います。 今日は「ザ・レチノタイム ホワイト」の「ホワイトニングローション」と「ホワイトニングエッセンス」をご紹介しました。いかがでしたか？ このチャンネルでは、私がすごいと思った化粧品の深掘り解説や、美容・健康について分かりやすく解説しています。よろしければ高評価やチャンネル登録をお願いします。それでは、また次の動画でお会いしましょう。さようなら。

Hello everyone, this is Tomoko. Today, a drugstore cosmetic that I'm sure is about to go viral has just been released, so I want to introduce it to you right away. Here it is: "The Retinotime White." If you heard "Retinotime" and thought, "Wait, isn't that...?" — good catch! I previously introduced "The Retinotime Wrinkle Lotion," which comes in a brown package, on this channel. This is a private brand product from Matsumoto Kiyoshi and Cocokara Fine, developed jointly with Naris Cosmetics. That wrinkle lotion contains niacinamide and retinyl palmitate, and I remember saying "This is amazing!" when I introduced it. Now, a new whitening line has been released, indicated by the white package and the name "White." I found out about it through a beauty magazine, which mentioned that the next magazine giveaway would be "The Retinotime White." I thought, "Wait, is a Retinotime White coming out?" and after searching around, I found the press release. Since it launches on June 1st, I wanted to introduce it to you as soon as possible, which is why I'm making this video. The original "Retinotime" series contains niacinamide, an approved active ingredient for wrinkle improvement, along with retinyl palmitate, a vitamin A derivative that, while not officially recognized as an active ingredient, is known as a "protective vitamin A." When properly absorbed into the skin, it helps improve skin firmness over long-term use as a moisturizing ingredient. In this new "White" line, in addition to these two ingredients, a vitamin C derivative has been newly added. Specifically, it contains ascorbyl glucoside, a stable form of vitamin C derivative. With the addition of vitamin C, you can expect whitening effects as well, working together with niacinamide's wrinkle-improving effects for a double benefit. Of course, retinyl palmitate is also included, making it excellent as a daytime "protective vitamin A" as well. Niacinamide, retinyl palmitate, and a vitamin C derivative — having all three of these ingredients together is already impressive, but the fact that you can buy this at a drugstore really shows how far we've come. The lineup includes a milky lotion, toner, cleansing lotion, and serum. That alone seemed amazing, but the serum had an even bigger secret hidden inside. "The Retinotime White Whitening Essence" contains the vitamin C derivative, retinyl palmitate, and niacinamide mentioned earlier, plus one more wonderful ingredient: menthyl linoleate. This ingredient, menthyl linoleate, was actually featured at the Japanese Dermatological Association meeting back in 2008. When skin is exposed to UV rays, melanocytes are activated, which in turn activates an enzyme called tyrosinase, leading to melanin production. Many whitening active ingredients work by suppressing tyrosinase activity or reducing inflammation to prevent melanin formation. Menthyl linoleate has also been found to suppress tyrosinase activity, and this was published in the 2008 Dermatological Association journal. While vitamin C itself has anti-inflammatory and whitening effects, this ingredient adds another mechanism of action by suppressing tyrosinase activity, which likely enhances the overall whitening effect. By the way, this product was co-developed with Naris Cosmetics. Naris Cosmetics is actually a very research-focused company, and in 2018 they filed an interesting patent related to menthyl linoleate. While menthyl linoleate itself isn't a patented ingredient, in 2018 they developed and announced a new complex combining menthyl linoleate with Artemisia capillaris (kawarayomogi) extract. As I mentioned, menthyl linoleate suppresses tyrosinase activity, but adding Artemisia capillaris extract also helps suppress UV-induced inflammation. When skin is exposed to UV rays, inflammation occurs, releasing a substance called prostaglandin E2 that transmits inflammatory signals. This inflammatory substance activates melanocytes, which then activate tyrosinase — so suppressing prostaglandin E2 is also key to whitening. Have you ever noticed that cooling down sunburned or inflamed skin makes it feel better? Interestingly, prostaglandin E2 activity is suppressed when cold-sensing receptors are activated. That's why we instinctively cool down bruises or sunburns. In 2018, Naris Cosmetics developed an ingredient that could activate these cold-sensing receptors without actually needing to cool the skin, in order to suppress prostaglandin E2 activity. This is the same complex of menthyl linoleate and Artemisia capillaris extract that they patented in 2018. Unfortunately, this particular "Whitening Essence" only contains menthyl linoleate on its own, not the full complex. But since Naris Cosmetics holds so much original research and patents, I think collaborations like this between drugstores and such companies result in truly wonderful products. Perhaps one day we'll see the combined menthyl linoleate and Artemisia capillaris complex included as well. It really reinforced for me how strong companies with their own proprietary technology can be. There was also a cleansing lotion called "Clear Lotion" in the lineup. Some people worry that cleansing lotions cause friction on the skin, but as long as you gently apply and remove it with cotton rather than rubbing harshly, it should be fine. Looking at the ingredients, it doesn't rely on acids to strip away dead skin cells, but instead uses a proprietary ingredient that softens the skin's texture — so unless you have extremely sensitive skin, it should be safe for normal skin types. I got a bit excited talking about this today, but honestly, it's incredible, isn't it? Drugstore cosmetics keep evolving, and with drugstores teaming up with research-driven companies like Naris Cosmetics, I think the market will continue to grow, and we'll keep seeing amazing products come out.
