Hello everyone. I'm Tomori Ara. Today I found another sheet mask that I think is really great, so I'd like to introduce it to you. You might think there are too many great sheet masks out there, and I think so myself too, but this is a wonderful product, so if you're someone who wants a new sheet mask, please check this out. So let's start with the first one: this is the Dr.Jart+ Brightening Light Mask. It's Korean skincare, and while they're known for popular items like cica ingredients and sunscreens, what's amazing is that there are so many sheet masks out there containing vitamin C. You might think, "Why vitamin C now?" but this one contains pure vitamin C rather than a vitamin C derivative. It also properly contains niacinamide and panthenol, but the key point is that it firmly contains pure vitamin C. However, pure vitamin C is quite prone to degradation, so it's difficult to keep it moist and fresh - it has to be made into a thick, paste-like ingredient. But as you can see, this folds into two parts - the sheet is on one side, and the solution is on the other side. Which side is the vitamin C in? It's on this side. The pure vitamin C is attached to, or soaked into, this sheet in a dried powder form. At the moment of use, you snap it open, let this water soak into the sheet, and use it immediately - so you can use vitamin C as a sheet mask while it's still fresh. This is something that seemed like it should exist but didn't. Just hearing about the ingredients, it might seem ordinary, but the fact that they thought carefully about how pure vitamin C is what's really good, and built the product around that - this really shows it's a proper doctor's cosmetic brand. Of course, since it's pure vitamin C, it also has whitening effects, but I think this is a particularly great sheet mask for those concerned about pores or excess oil/shine. Next up is this one: Bioheal BOh Probio Derm 3D Lifting Full Face Contour Mask. Isn't that a long name? As the name suggests, it gives an image of a mask that lifts in 3D and corrects your facial contour. Let me open it up. It's divided into upper and lower parts. If it's like this, you pull this part up tightly like this. Rather than a normal sheet mask, it's made of a gel-like material. When you apply a bit of tension, it stretches, so you press this on firmly and do the sheet mask while lifting your face - that's the shape of this product. Of course, if you firmly wear this mask like a corset for about 5 to 10 minutes, you somehow feel lifted. It also helps reduce puffiness, so in that sense, I think it's good for an instant contour lift. But just an instant effect isn't enough, right? So what's in it? It contains 10 types of peptides. What is a peptide? Our skin is made of protein. Peptides are what break down protein into smaller pieces, and peptides that send various signals to skin cells have been developed. Oligopeptide-6 has a function of maintaining growth and promoting skin cell turnover. Next is Dipeptide Diaminobutyroyl Benzylamide Diacetate, which is said to suppress muscle contraction, working like Botox - this is more of a wrinkle-improving ingredient. Dipeptide - this helps improve puffiness. So when your contour feels sluggish or puffy, this puffiness-reducing ingredient would be good. Next is something called Dipeptide-4. It's said to have anti-inflammatory and skin repair effects. Tripeptide-2 is said to have an effect on skin regeneration, so it's said to help repair things like a blurred contour due to aging. Tripeptide-3 is a peptide said to promote collagen production. Nonapeptide-1 - while most of the 10 types are focused on firmness and wrinkles, this one is a whitening peptide that suppresses tyrosinase activity to prevent spots. Palmitoyl Peptide-1 promotes the synthesis of collagen and elastin, so this is also a firmness-improving ingredient. Palmitoyl Peptide-5 helps prevent skin sagging and promotes collagen production, so this is also a firmness-boosting ingredient. Next, Pentapeptide-3 is included, which also works like Botox to prevent wrinkles by suppressing facial muscle contractions. So, quite a variety of peptides are included, and most of them are firmness-related peptides. On top of that, there's the aspect of physically lifting with this gel shape, right? So this isn't really in the shape of a typical sheet mask. You apply it like this. Take it off and pull it up like this - you leave it on for about 5 to 10 minutes like this. So I think you can adjust how you lift depending on the situation. If you wake up puffy in the morning and you're meeting a friend or have a photoshoot, this could be a pretty great item. But there's one caution point: I've seen people wearing this jelly-like gel product on airplanes for over an hour, or wearing it all night while sleeping, and as a dermatologist, I'd really like people to avoid that. Of course, it's not like this contains a huge amount of moisture, but if someone with dry or very sensitive skin wears this for a long time and falls asleep, it could actually weaken the skin's barrier function. The packaging says to use it for 30 to 40 minutes for lifting care, but as a dermatologist, I think 10 to 20 minutes maximum would be better. Next is this one: Peel Care Expert. It says "intensive skin care habit, spring peel serum," and it's a peeling care product using a high concentration of mandelic acid. Rather than acting aggressively on the skin, it's more about gently softening the skin's dead skin cells while maintaining moisture. Mandelic acid itself is classified as an AHA, similar to lactic acid, but it's a bit milder than lactic acid or glycolic acid. It's a bit more active than PHA or LHA type softening ingredients, but still gentle even while being somewhat more active. So I think this is good for people concerned about pores or those bothered by oiliness/stickiness. To support that effect, it also contains things like T3 which help suppress sebum, plus panthenol which gives a glow, so it's highly recommended for people whose pores are open or whose dullness is due to rough texture from dead skin buildup. It clearly says to finish within 5 minutes. If you use it for more than 5 minutes, even though it's a gentle AHA like mandelic acid, it can still cause damage to the skin, so personally I'd recommend finishing in about 2-3 minutes. After removing unnecessary dead skin cells, you infuse moisture, and as that moisture increases in the exfoliated skin, transparency increases too - giving you double the clarity, plus additional moisture from ingredients like panthenol. This might be great for people whose skin looks dull and they don't know what to do about it. So, how was that? Sheet masks keep evolving more and more with wonderful products coming out, so I think it's totally fine to choose based on ingredients. But as I mentioned earlier, some people tend to overuse certain products for too long, so please be careful about that, and make sure to follow the recommended time, like 5 minutes if it says 5 minutes. If you enjoyed today's content, I'd be happy if you could hit the like button or subscribe to the channel. See you in the next video. Goodbye.
