【保湿最強クラス】もう肌ガサガサしない！砂漠で検証を重ねた化粧水。どれ使っても乾燥しちゃう人は試す価値アリです。

皆さんこんにちは!友利新です。もう乾燥の季節になってきましたよね。日本もどんどん砂漠化していくって言ってますが、本当に砂漠に行っても乾かない化粧水があるんです。 ということで今日は本当に乾燆を細胞レベルから変えていくっていう発想の化粧水をご紹介しますので、何を使ってもパサパサだっていう方はぜひ最後までご覧ください。 では早速その化粧水が何かっていうと、じゃじゃーん!こちらエストのザ・ローションになります。 エストのザ・ローションっていうのはちょっとねパッケージが変わったんですよ。前はちょっとオレンジ色で丸い普通のボトルだったんですが、エストが全体的にフルリニューアルして化粧水もこんななんかオシャレな化粧水になっています。パッケージだけじゃなくてめちゃくちゃ中身もバージョンアップしてるんです。 バージョンアップする前のエストもその時にも砂漠に行って乾かないっていう風なプロモーションをしたんですけれども、砂漠にもいろんな種類があってそこまで乾かない砂漠もあれば生物が住むのには過酷すぎるっていう砂漠もあるらしいんですね。 今回は中ぐらいというか砂漠の中でもまあまあ砂漠に行って検証したらしいんですが、今回のリニューアルしたこのエスト・ザ・ローションはギネスにも認定されている地球上で最も過酷な乾燥地帯と呼ばれているアタカマ砂漠というところで検証しているんですよ。そのアタカマ砂漠でもしっかりと保湿ができるということがわかれば、どんな過酷な環境下になっても乾燥しないというところがわかるっていうぐらいしっかりとした保湿の研究の成果が出ているのがエスト・ザ・ローションになります。 それでじゃあ終わりというわけじゃなくて、じゃあどうやって保湿を維持できるかっていうところなんですが、まず保湿の一番ベースっていうのは水を抱え込むっていうところじゃないですか。 貯水っていうところの力とお水自体の質を変えるっていうところをしてるんですね。それで聞いてもハテナっていう感じなのでしっかりと一つ一つお話ししていこうと思うんですが、お水を抱えるっていう時に必要なのは角層の細胞がとても大事になってくるんですね。角層の細胞の中には天然保湿因子っていうものとケラチン繊維っていうものがあります。 ケラチン繊維と天然保湿因子っていうのがしっかりとあることによってその間にお水が入り込んできてお水をしっかりと抱え込むんですね。なのでケラチン繊維っていうものとこの天然保湿因子どっちもすごく大事になってきます。 その中でも花王さんがずっと研究しているのがケラチン繊維なんですね。ケラチン繊維っていうものが手がいっぱいあるような感じなんですけど、ふわっと広がってお水をいっぱい吸収していくと細胞の中にお水がいっぱい蓄えられる。だからこのケラチン繊維っていうのがギュッと縮まらないで手をしっかりと広げてお水をしっかりとってきましょうねっていうことでケラチン繊維を広げていくっていうもので、エクトインっていうものとHP50っていう成分を入れています。 エクトインっていうのは水分を抱え込みながらケラチン繊維の細胞の間に入り込んできてさらにお水を抱え込むようにするんですね。HP50っていうのはケラチン繊維の間に入り込んでいて電気の反発プラスとマイナスがあるのでそれで反発することによってまたケラチン繊維を広げてその中にお水を抱えていくっていうようなことをします。 なので今までもしっかり抱え込んでたんですがよりこのケラチン繊維をわーっと手を広げてガサーっとお水をしっかりと引き込むようによりしていく。だからこそ細胞の中にお水がいっぱいあるから外の空気が乾燥している砂漠でもお水を細胞の中に抱え込むということになります。 そしてもう一つ水の質を変える、これが結構大事なんですが、化粧水を塗っても最初は満たされたなぁと思うかもしれないです。時間が経ったら水分が蒸発して出ていってしまうという現象があると思うんですけどこれは何かっていうと、肌に入れたお水がケラチン繊維であったりとかと一緒に結合するお水に変わっていれば出ていかないんですが、自由に水分が出ていってしまう自由水というものだけだったとしたら、入れてもすぐ出ていっちゃうんですね。 なので自由水じゃなくて結合水を増やすということが大事で、その結合水にするためにはさっき言ったケラチン繊維を広げるということも必要なんですが、そのケラチン繊維がこのお水を抱え込んだ後に自由水にはならずに、ここでずっと一緒にいてくださいねっていうような補強のことが必要なんですよ。 この補強するのが今回エストザローションに新しく入ったミコースという成分になってきます。このミコースというものがあるからこそ細胞の中にお水が入ってケラチン繊維をしっかり広げてその間にお水が入った後も結合水にするまでしっかりと抱え込む。だからこそお水を入れてもどんどん出ていくっていうことがなく細胞の中にお水がパンパンに満たされていくっていうところになるんですよ。 だから結合水、入れても入れても蒸発していくっていうのは結合水になっている割合が少ないんですよね。 結合水にする能力っていうのはそもそもドライスキン、乾燥肌の人は少ない。だから油で蓋をしようねだったんですが、そんな乾燥肌の人でもちゃんと結合水にできるように成分を入れているっていうところがポイントになります。 ただお水を入れて角層に浸透させているだけじゃなくて、角層の一つ一つの細胞の水分量がしっかり満たされることによって角層全体の水分量が上がるっていうところなんですよ。 だから今までのセラミドを入れるとか細胞間質のヒアルロン酸を増やすとかではなくて、角層の細胞の中の結合水を増やしていって角層の細胞のお水をマックスにしていくっていう考え方なんですね。 砂漠って本当に外気が乾燥してるじゃないですか。結合水が少なくて自由水になっているとどんどんお水が行っちゃうんですね。なんですがそれでもしっかりとお水を抱え込んでいくっていうのがこのエスト・ザ・ローションになっています。 なので面白いことに乾燥すると突っ張るじゃないですか。それって細胞が通常だったらしっかりとした骨格のものが、細胞のお水がなくなるから平坦になるから引っ張られて乾燥のこの突っ張り感というのが起こっているらしいんですね。この水分がしっかりと満たされて広がることによって突っ張り感もなくなるっていうことがわかってるんですよ。結構面白くないですか。 エストは角層の細胞がしっかりふっくらあることによって肌のバリア機能が保たれることによって角層の炎症がなくなることでエイジングケアをしていく。通常だったら下からエイジングケアしていくんですけどもエストは角層の細胞にお水を入れることによって炎症を抑えてエイジングケアっていう上からのエイジングケアをしていくっていう意味でもすごく面白いなと思います。 あと今回のエストザローションでのリニューアルは、今まではエストザローションというのは一つだったんですけれども、そこに前回のリニューアルと一緒になってローションもタイプ別になってるんですね。今お話ししたその細胞レベルで水分量を上げていくっていうような成分は共通して入っているんですけれども、その中でも糖化が気になるタイプっていう人、そして酸化が気になるタイプの人、そして核化が気になる人っていうことでKSTっていうタイプに分かれて、それぞれどれが自分に合うかっていうものはエストのカウンターに行くとちゃんと肌診断をしてくれて自分の肌がどれが必要かっていうものをちゃんとご紹介してくれるっていうシステムもあります。 ただ話を聞くと大体の人が酸化タイプになるらしいので、迷ったらSの酸化タイプっていうものを選んだらいいんじゃないかなと思いますし、酸化タイプにはビタミンCが入っていて抗酸化力を上げるっていうような感じになっているらしいです。 ちなみにアタカマ砂漠でどんな実験をしたかというと、アタカマ砂漠って湿度8%前後らしいんですよ。究極に乾燥してますよね。それにエストザローションを塗って1時間から6時間後までもちゃんとこの肌の水分量が維持できたっていうことを検証したらしいです。 湿度8%のところでもエストザローションを使うと肌の保湿が保たれたっていう感じなので、東京もどんなに乾燥しても8%以下にはならないと思うので、本当に肌が乾燥してピキッと痛いっていうような方もすごくいいんじゃないかなというふうに思うので、これから先乾燥する季節になりますので気になる方はぜひチェックしてみてください。 ということで今日も最後までご覧いただきありがとうございました。 このチャンネルでは最新の美容成分だったりとか美容健康についてを発信しているチャンネルなので、よかったらチャンネル登録お願いします。 そして毎週火曜日にメンバーシップ限定のライブをしています。メンバーシップでしかお話しできないような質問にお答えしたりとか最新の知見とかもお話ししていますので、月額90円にはなりますけれどもメンバーシップも入っていただけると嬉しいです。 ではまた次の動画でお会いしましょう。さようなら。

Hello everyone! This is Tomori Ara. It's already getting to be the dry season, isn't it? They say Japan is becoming more and more like a desert, but there's actually a lotion that doesn't dry out even in the desert. So today I'm going to introduce a lotion based on the concept of truly changing dryness at the cellular level, so if you're someone whose skin gets flaky no matter what you use, please watch until the end. So let's get right to it - what is this lotion? Ta-da! This is EST's THE Lotion. EST's THE Lotion has had a bit of a package change. Before it was in a plain round bottle in orange, but EST did a full renewal overall, and now the lotion has become this stylish-looking product. Not just the packaging - the contents have been massively upgraded too. Even before this renewal, EST had done promotions about going to the desert and not drying out, but apparently there are various types of deserts - some don't dry out that much, while others are too harsh for living things to inhabit. This time, they tested in what you might call a moderately harsh desert, but this renewed EST THE Lotion was tested in the Atacama Desert, which is certified by Guinness World Records as the harshest, driest region on Earth. If it can be shown to provide solid moisture retention even in the Atacama Desert, that shows it won't dry out no matter how harsh the environment - that's the level of solid moisturizing research results behind EST THE Lotion. But that's not the end of the story - the question is how it maintains moisture. First, the most basic aspect of moisturizing is retaining water, right? They're working on both the power of water retention and changing the quality of the water itself. I know that might sound confusing, so let me explain one thing at a time. What's needed to retain water is the cells of the stratum corneum - they're very important. Inside the stratum corneum cells, there are things called natural moisturizing factors and keratin fibers. Because keratin fibers and natural moisturizing factors are solidly present, water gets in between them and is firmly retained. So both keratin fibers and natural moisturizing factors are extremely important. Among these, what Kao has been researching all along is keratin fiber. Keratin fiber is like having lots of hands reaching out - when it spreads out softly and absorbs lots of water, a lot of water gets stored inside the cell. So the idea is to make sure this keratin fiber doesn't shrink tightly but spreads its "hands" out firmly to grab water - and for that, they've added ingredients called Ectoine and HP50. Ectoine retains moisture while getting in between the keratin fiber cells, further helping to hold onto water. HP50 gets in between the keratin fibers, and since it has electrical repulsion between positive and negative charges, this repulsion spreads the keratin fibers further apart, allowing more water to be held within them. So while water was already being retained before, now the keratin fibers spread their "hands" out even more widely to firmly draw in water. That's why, since there's so much water inside the cells, water gets retained inside the cells even in a desert where the outside air is dry. And there's one more important thing - changing the quality of the water. When you apply lotion, you might feel satisfied at first that your skin is moisturized. But there's a phenomenon where, after some time passes, the moisture evaporates and leaves. What's happening here is: if the water that entered the skin has become bound water combined with keratin fibers and such, it won't leave, but if it's only free water that can freely evaporate away, then it will leave quickly even after being applied. So it's important to increase bound water rather than free water, and to make that bound water, you need the keratin fiber spreading I mentioned earlier, but you also need something to reinforce it so that after the keratin fiber holds onto the water, it doesn't turn back into free water and instead "stays right here with you." This reinforcing role is played by a new ingredient added to EST THE Lotion this time called Mycose. Because of this Mycose ingredient, water enters the cells, keratin fibers spread out firmly, and even after water gets in between them, it's firmly held as bound water. That's why, even as you apply more and more, the water doesn't just keep leaving - instead, the inside of the cells becomes completely filled with water. So the reason why, no matter how much lotion you apply, it just evaporates, is that the proportion of bound water is low. The ability to convert water into bound water is inherently lower in people with dry skin. That's why the conventional approach was to seal it in with oil, but the point here is that ingredients have been added so that even people with dry skin can properly create bound water. It's not just about applying water and letting it penetrate the stratum corneum - by having the water content of each individual cell in the stratum corneum properly filled, the overall water content of the stratum corneum increases. So rather than the conventional approach of adding ceramides or increasing hyaluronic acid in the intercellular matrix, this is based on the concept of increasing bound water inside the stratum corneum cells themselves, maximizing the water content within those cells. The outside air in a desert really is dry, isn't it? If there's little bound water and it's mostly free water, the water keeps leaving more and more. But even so, this EST THE Lotion is designed to firmly retain water. Interestingly, this is why skin feels tight when it's dry. Normally, cells have a firm structural framework, but when the water inside the cells is gone, they become flat and get pulled, causing that tight, stretched feeling associated with dryness. It's been found that when this moisture is properly filled and the cells expand, that tight feeling also disappears. Pretty interesting, isn't it? Because the stratum corneum cells in EST are firmly plump, the skin's barrier function is maintained, and this eliminates inflammation in the stratum corneum, which provides anti-aging care. Normally, anti-aging care works from below, but EST provides anti-aging care from above by putting water into the stratum corneum cells to suppress inflammation - I find that really interesting too. Also, regarding this renewal of EST THE Lotion - previously there was just one single EST THE Lotion, but along with the previous renewal, the lotion is now divided into different types. The ingredients I just talked about that raise water content at the cellular level are common across all types, but among them, there are types for people concerned about glycation, people concerned about oxidation, and people concerned about "kakuka" (nuclear-related aging), divided into what's called the KST type system. To find out which one suits you, you can go to the EST counter where they'll do a proper skin diagnosis and recommend which one your skin needs. However, from what I've heard, most people turn out to be the oxidation type, so if you're unsure, I think choosing the S (oxidation) type would be a good idea. The oxidation type apparently contains Vitamin C to boost antioxidant power. By the way, as for what kind of experiment was done in the Atacama Desert - apparently the humidity in the Atacama Desert is around 8%. That's extremely dry, isn't it? They applied EST THE Lotion and verified that the skin's moisture content was properly maintained from 1 hour up to 6 hours afterward. Since using EST THE Lotion maintained skin moisture even at 8% humidity, and Tokyo's humidity probably never drops below 8% no matter how dry it gets, I think this would be great for people whose skin gets so dry it actually feels painfully tight.
