皆さんこんにちは、友利新です。今日は2022年下半期の大注目の化粧水をご紹介したいと思います。この化粧水はシワ改善もシミ予防も1本でできちゃう上に、乳液とか美容液効果ももう1本でできるというマルチな化粧水になります。これはもう本当にすごいなと思ったものなんですが、それが何かっていうとこちら「リサージ スキンメインテナイザー DX」です。 実はこのリサージのスキンメインテナイザーって春夏にリニューアルして出たんですよ。それがこのキャップがシルバーのスキンメインテナイザー EXなんです。その時にもすごいなぁというふうに思ったんですけれども、今回はまたそれがさらにバージョンアップしてスキンメインテナイザー DXっていうものになってます。 じゃあEXとDX、何が違うのかっていうか、もともとリサージって何がすごいのかって言うとですね、リサージっていうのはもともとコラーゲンの研究をめちゃくちゃ昔からやっている ブランドになります。皆さんもコラーゲンが肌にいいっていうのはもうわかっていると思うんですね。なのでコラーゲン入りの化粧品とかもたくさんあるし、コラーゲンの産生を促すような秘伝のタレが入っているようなお化粧品とかたくさんあると思うんですけれども、まず知っておいてほしいのは、実はですね、コラーゲンっていうものが生まれ変わって新しいものになるためには、実はめちゃくちゃ時間がかかるんです。 例えば今肌にあるコラーゲンが半分くらい置き換わるのにどれぐらい時間かかると思います？例えば1年とか2年とかっていうふうに思うじゃないですか。実は半分だけ置き換えるのでも10年はかかるんですね。置き換えるのを待ってはいられないわけじゃないですか。なので一番大事なのは、実はこの置き換わるのを待つんではなくて、今あるものを劣化させないようにして、そして劣化した時にもちゃんとリモデリングって言ってきちんと作り変える代謝をオンにしておくことがすごく大事だよっていうものを昔から提唱しているのがこのリサージさんになります。 そしてコラーゲンと言ってもだいたい30種類ぐらいあるんですが、皮膚に存在しているコラーゲンというのはだいたい9種類というふうに言われています。特にその中でも張り感に関与しているって言われているのが1型コラーゲン、3型コラーゲン、そして4型コラーゲン、7型コラーゲンです。それぞれ実は全部違う働きをしているんですけども、ハリを形成していることに関係しているコラーゲンです。 例えば真皮のコラーゲンの7割を司っていると言われている1型コラーゲンと3型コラーゲン。1型は太いコラーゲン繊維で、要は土台というか、その厚みを持たせているものになります。3型コラーゲンというのは柔軟性を持たせるような感じで、細い繊維なんですね。なので太い1型と細い3型がきちっと絡み合うことで、土台として張り感もあるし、そして柔軟性も出てくるということになります。 じゃあ4型と7型が何しているかというと、4型コラーゲンというのは実は真皮の一番上というか表皮の一番下っていうんですか、そこには基底膜っていうここから細胞が生まれるというすごく重要な役目の場所があります。基底膜を形成するのがこの4型コラーゲンなんですね。基底膜がダランとしていると表皮が落ちくぼんでくるので張り感がなくなってくるので、やっぱり4型コラーゲンもすごく大事です。そしてこの基底膜と真皮をくっつけているのが7型コラーゲンになります。 なので土台を作っている1型と3型コラーゲン、基底膜をちょっと底上げしてくれるのが4型と7型ということになるんですね。なので、この4つが肌のハリ感にはとてもとても大事だということをリサージさんは結構昔から提唱しています。なので、それをどう劣化させないようにするかとか、どうメンテナンスをしていくかということをすごくすごく言っていたんですね。 今まではそれぞれ1型にはこれ、3型にはこれ、4型にはこれとかというのアプローチをしてたんですけれども、でもやっぱり一つの号令でそこにいいシグナルが行けるようなことがないかっていうことを色々色々調べてたどり着いたのが「スパークタンパク」です。 これは2012年にですね、資生堂さんが発表したデータになるんですが、「真皮の働きに重要なタンパク質、生体分子スパークに新しい役割を発見」。これ2012年からこのスパークに目をつけていたんだと思うんですよ。このスパークがですね、いろんなコラーゲンの産生に関与しているというのは2012年に発表してるんですよ。 でも、これのね発表の一番最後には何て書いてあるかというと「これを新しいスキンケアコンセプトの提案に向けて頑張ります」みたいなこと書いてあるので、多分2012年にはこのスパークを見つけてるんですけども、これを入れ込んだのが2022年なので、10年間かけてこのスパークをどういうふうに化粧品に応用するかっていうのを見てたんじゃないかなと思うんですけど。 じゃあこのスパークというものに話を戻すと、このスパークっていうものが、例えばさっき言ったみたいな1型だけ、3型だけってなるといけないというか、やっぱり何でもバランスじゃないですか。1型だけが増えるとか、3型だけが増えるとかじゃなくて、1型も3型も4型も7型もちゃんとお互いがしっかりとバランスをとって増えていったりとか、メンテナンスがされるということがすごく大事で、それがやっぱりこのスパークっていうものが調整の指令塔みたいなものだっていうことを見つけているので。 じゃあこの調整の指令塔であるスパークをどうにかアップさせるものがないかっていうものを調べた時に、いろんなことをして行き着いたのが「ユキノシタエキス」っていう成分です。このユキノシタエキスを見つけるのに100以上の植物を調べたらしくて、ユキノシタエキスを添加することによって肌細胞のスパークが活性化されるということが分かったので、これだと思って入れたっていうのがこのリサージになります。 そのユキノシタエキスが入ったのが2022年の2月に発売されたそのリサージスキンメインテナイザーのEXなんですね。なので、この時もめちゃめちゃ話題になったんですけれども、そこに今回は皆さん大好きなナイアシンアミドが入ってパワーアップしているのがこのリサージスキンメインテナイザーDXです。 そもそもこのEXの時にもスパークっていうものでメンテナンスをするっていうことだけでもびっくりしたんですが、じゃあこれにナイアシンアミドっていうもともとシミ予防だったりとかシワ改善というものの承認が取れているものを入れ込むっていうのも、一見簡単そうじゃないですか。でも、ね、これが大変だったらしくて、というのもリサージスキンメインテナイザーってすごくね、コンセプトが面白くって、ベタつかないようなサラッとしたテクスチャーを突き詰めているブランドさんなんですね。 なんとなくこの高機能でコラーゲンケアとか、これ1本で乳液もまかなえますよみたいなこと言うと、結構ドロッとした製品を思い浮かべちゃったりしませんか？私も最初発表会とかで聞いているとドロッとした成分なんじゃないかなって思ってたんですが、そもそもこの2022年の春夏にリニューアルした時のスキンメインテナイザーなんですが、これがこんな感じで、わかります？結構ねシャバシャバしてるんですよ。でも、これを肌に乗せると本当にしっとりしてるっていうのがわかるんですよ。でも見た感じはわかりますかね？水みたいでしょ。こんなにサラサラ落ちていくだけれども、これが肌に乗った時にはスーッと浸透していくから、なんとも言えない心地よさなんですよね。 この心地よさがリサージの化粧水の一番の特徴でもあるし、人気でもあったんですね。だから、このテクスチャーを変えないようにナイアシンアミドを入れるっていうことが大変で、というのもナイアシンアミドって実は水溶性の成分なので、お水に溶けやすいと思うじゃないですか。もちろんそうなんですよ。なんですけど、皆さんナイアシンアミドが入っている化粧品ってなんとなくいろいろあると思うんですけども、サラサラではなく、どちらかというと少しとろみがある製品が多いと思うんですね。 というのも、実はナイアシンアミドって水溶性でお水に溶けやすいんですけれども、安定性をするには、やっぱり油分が必要らしくて、なので、クリームに入れたりとか、あとは化粧水とかに入れる時にも、ああいうとろっとしたとろみのある製剤じゃないと、なかなか難しかったんですよ。 だけれども、もともとリサージっていうのはこのお水みたいなんだけれども、スッと入っていって、それでいてベタつきがないけれど、内側からふっくらさせるっていうテクスチャーっていうんですかね。これが市場の売りでもあったので、それを変えないようにどうするかって考えた時に、これが面白いなぁと思ったのが、やっぱりこれはね、資生堂の技術だなぁと思ったんですよ。 リサージって資生堂のものなので「温速クラッシュ処方」っていうものなんですね。なんぞやそれって感じなんですか？それは油分を温速のスピードで小さく細かくするわけですよ。クラッシュさせる。それを入れているので、油分っていうことがテクスチャー的にはわからないだけれども、たっぷりの実は油分が入っているんですって。それでも全然わからないようなテクスチャーになってるんですよ。 なので、本当は油分もしっかり入っているんだけれども、この温速技術で細かくしているから、とろっとした感じではなく、スーッと肌に溶け込んでいくようなテクスチャーになっているという感じですね。資生堂って言ったら皆さん、今年の春夏ですごくバズった「レイロベール」っていう水のような日焼け止めっていうのがあったと思うんですが、あれも、ラメラ構造を肌に乗せていくだけれども、油じゃなくて水のような膜を張っていくっていうラメラ構造の技術が使われているんですが、これ同じ資生堂のグループなので、この「レイロベール」みたいな感じの水の膜を貼るっていう技術もこちらに搭載されているので。 やっぱり化粧水で、お水みたいなんだけれども、油分もしっかり入っていて、なんですけれども、ベタベタしない。シャバッとしてるんですけど、ジュワーッと肌に浸透していって、ヒタヒタと染み渡るような感じの肌当たりになってくれる。これ多分使ってみないとわかんないと思うんですけれども、テクスチャーもすごい独自なんですね。 こちらDXなんですが、これ見てください。ほら、もうシャバシャバお水みたいでしょ。お水みたいなんですけど、これがヒタヒタと染み渡っていく感じ。あと、触ったこの柔らかさが全然違うんですよね。気持ちがいいです。これはもう使ってみないとわからないんだと思うんですけれども、乳液とかね、本当にいらないなっていうぐらいの保湿感です。 テクスチャーにもすごくいろんな技術が入ってるんですけど、さっき言ったスパークっていう1型3型4型7型、それぞれをしっかりとメンテナンスをね、サポートしてくれるスパークを見つけて、そのスパークをじゃあ、どういうふうに化粧品化させるかというユキノシタエキスまで見つけて、プラスアルファー、ナイアシンアミドという、メジャー級のものも入れつつ、だけれども、テクスチャーはそのままっていう、そして、染み渡るみたいなテクスチャーを使ってるっていうのがもう本当に素晴らしいなと。 なので、ハリ感を持たせたい、そして乾燥は気になるんだけど、ベタベタしたのが好きじゃない。私もそうなんですよ。私、乾燥は嫌いなんですけど、自分が脂性肌なので、ベタベタするのが嫌いなんですね。なんで、そういった方にもすごくおすすめだし、逆を言うと、乾燥肌の人ってベタベタしたテクスチャーを使うと痒みが出ちゃうという方も中にはいらっしゃるし、そういう患者さんも多いんですよね。だから、さらっとしたテクスチャーものが好きです。だけれども、保湿感は欲しいっていうような方にもすごくぴったりなアイテムなんじゃないかなと思います。 これね、テクスチャーのしっとりとさっぱりっていうもので分かれていたりとか、さっきのスパーク遺伝子を活性化するユキノシタエキスは入ってるんですけど、油分の量によって、手頃の値段のものもあったりするので、ハリがとっても気になって、しかも美白もしたいっていう時には、このDX。ハリもしたいんだけれども、シワ改善まではいかなくても、ハリ感をっていう方は、EX。そして、ハリはね、今そこそこあるから、それを保ちたいっていう方は、STっていうバージョンもあるので、自分の状態というか、それに合わせて使っていただければいいんじゃないかなと思います。 Hello everyone, this is Arata Tomori. Today I'd like to introduce you to the most popular facial toner of the second half of 2022. This toner is amazing because it can address wrinkles and prevent dark spots with just one product, and it also has the effects of an emulsion and essence all in one. It's truly remarkable, and the product I'm talking about is Shiseido Lisage Skin Maintainer DX. Actually, Lisage Skin Maintainer was reformulated and released last spring and summer. The one with the silver cap is the Skin Maintainer EX. I was impressed then too, but now it has been further upgraded to become the Skin Maintainer DX. So what's the difference between EX and DX? First, let me explain what makes Lisage so great. Lisage is a brand that has been conducting collagen research for a very long time. I'm sure you all know that collagen is good for your skin. There are many collagen-infused cosmetics out there, and many products contain ingredients that promote collagen production. However, what's important to know is that it takes an extremely long time for collagen to completely renew itself. For example, think about how long it takes for just half of the collagen in your skin to be replaced. You might think it's 1 or 2 years, but it actually takes about 10 years. Since we can't wait for that replacement to happen, the most important thing is not to wait for the replacement, but to prevent the existing collagen from deteriorating and to keep the metabolism turned on so that damaged collagen is properly remodeled. This is what Lisage has been advocating for a long time. There are about 30 types of collagen, but skin contains about 9 types. Among them, the ones involved in firmness are Type I collagen, Type III collagen, Type IV collagen, and Type VII collagen. Each has different functions, but they are all involved in forming skin firmness. For example, Type I and Type III collagen are said to control about 70% of dermal collagen. Type I is thick collagen fibers that form the foundation and provide thickness. Type III collagen provides flexibility with its thin fibers. When thick Type I and thin Type III collagen intertwine properly, the skin has firmness as a foundation and flexibility. As for Type IV and Type VII, Type IV collagen forms the basement membrane, which is located at the very bottom of the epidermis—the most important location where new cells are born. When the basement membrane sags, the epidermis falls inward, losing firmness. So Type IV collagen is also very important. Type VII collagen connects the basement membrane and dermis together. So Type I and III create the foundation, while Type IV and VII provide support from below. These four types are very important for skin firmness, which Lisage has been advocating for quite some time. So they've been very focused on how to prevent their deterioration and how to maintain them. Up until now, they've been approaching it separately—this for Type I, this for Type III, this for Type IV. But they wondered if there was a way to send a good signal through one command. After extensive research, they discovered "Spark Protein." This is research data that Shiseido announced in 2012: "Discovery of a new role for Spark, a protein and biological molecule important to dermal function." I think they noticed Spark back in 2012. They found that Spark is involved in the production of various collagens and announced this in 2012. But at the very end of their announcement, it said something like "We will work toward proposing this as a new skincare concept." So they probably discovered Spark in 2012, but it took 10 years until 2022 to incorporate it into cosmetics. I think they spent those 10 years figuring out how to apply Spark to skincare products. Let me explain what Spark is. This Spark is important because it prevents imbalance. It's not ideal if only Type I increases or only Type III increases. It's about balance. All four types—Type I, III, IV, and VII—should increase in a balanced way and be properly maintained. Spark acts like the command center for this adjustment. So they searched for something that could activate Spark, the command center for this adjustment. After extensive research, they discovered an ingredient called "Yukinoshita Extract." Apparently, they examined over 100 plants to find this extract. They discovered that adding Yukinoshita Extract activates the Spark protein in skin cells, so they decided to include it in Lisage. Yukinoshita Extract was included in the Lisage Skin Maintainer EX, which was released in February 2022. This was also a huge topic of conversation. Now, in this new version, they've added niacinamide—everyone's favorite ingredient—to boost the formula even more, creating the Lisage Skin Maintainer DX. Even with just the EX version using Spark for maintenance, it was impressive. But adding niacinamide, which already has approval for preventing dark spots and improving wrinkles, might seem straightforward. However, this was actually difficult because Lisage's concept is interesting—they're committed to a smooth, non-sticky texture. When you hear about a high-performance, collagen-focused product that also functions as an emulsion in one bottle, you might imagine a thick, heavy texture, right? I initially thought the same when I heard about it at the product launch. But when they reformulated the Skin Maintainer in spring/summer 2022, it's like this—do you see? It's quite runny and watery. But when you apply it to your skin, you realize it feels very moisturizing. And visually, it looks like water, right? It flows so smoothly, yet it penetrates into the skin so smoothly that it's incredibly pleasant. This pleasant feeling is the biggest characteristic and popularity factor of Lisage toners. Since this texture was such a selling point, they had to figure out how to add niacinamide without changing the texture. The thing is, niacinamide is water-soluble, so you'd think it dissolves easily in water, right? It does, but if you think about niacinamide-containing products you know, most of them aren't really thin and runny—they tend to be slightly thick and viscous. That's because although niacinamide is water-soluble and dissolves easily in water, it needs oil to stabilize it. So it's difficult to add it to products that aren't thick and viscous, whether it's creams or toners. But Lisage's original concept was a product that seems like water, yet absorbs smoothly and doesn't feel sticky—it plumps the skin from within. This was their market strength, so they had to figure out how to keep this texture while adding niacinamide. I think this is where Shiseido's technology comes in. Listage is a Shiseido product, so it uses "Temperature-Controlled Crush Technology." What on earth is that, you might ask? It breaks down oils at high speed into very small, fine particles. By crushing oils this way, you can't tell there are oils in the texture, but actually, quite a bit of oil is included. Yet you can't tell at all from the texture. So even though there's actually plenty of oil, this temperature-controlled technology breaks it down into such small particles that instead of feeling thick and viscous, it creates a smooth, melting texture. Shiseido also made "Rayrobell," which became very popular this spring and summer—a water-like sunscreen. It uses lamella structure technology to create a membrane that feels like water rather than oil on the skin. Since this is also from the Shiseido group, this water-film technology is also used in this product. So you get a toner that seems like water, actually has plenty of oil, but doesn't feel sticky at all. It's light and watery, yet absorbs as a rich moisture wave, with a dewy, seeping feeling on the skin. I think you really need to try it to understand this. The texture is really unique. Look at this DX—it's so runny and water-like, right? But it penetrates smoothly with that dewy, seeping feeling. And the softness you feel when you touch it is completely different. It feels so nice. You really have to try it to understand, but the moisture it provides is so substantial that you might not even need an emulsion. There's so much technology in this texture. It incorporates Spark, which supports the maintenance of Type I, III, IV, and VII collagen separately. They found Yukinoshita Extract to activate these Spark genes, and in addition, they've included niacinamide—a heavyweight ingredient—while keeping the texture the same with this seeping quality. It's truly wonderful. So if you want firmness and are concerned about dryness but don't like sticky textures—which is my case too, since I have oily skin and dislike stickiness—this is highly recommended. Conversely, people with dry skin who use sticky textures sometimes experience itching, and I see many such patients. They prefer light textures but want moisture, and this product is perfect for them. The line comes in different textures—moisturizing and light versions—and since Yukinoshita Extract is included but the oil content varies, there are more affordable options. If you're very concerned about firmness and also want brightening, choose the DX. If you want firmness but not necessarily wrinkle improvement, just general firmness, the EX is good. And if your skin already has decent firmness and you just want to maintain it, there's also the ST version. Choose based on your skin's current state. Personally, I'd choose the DX's "moisturizing" version. Even for people with slightly oily skin, this DX moisturizing version is my current favorite. So, what did you think?
