皮膚科医が本気で人生が変わった洗顔料を紹介します。

皆さんこんにちは、友利新です。皆さんスキンケアで重要視しているものって何ですか？美容液とか化粧水とかいろいろあると思うんですが、2021年はぜひ洗顔に注目してください。というのも、今マスクをしているということもありますし、肌の洗浄というか清潔志向が高まってきているということがあるんでしょうね。各メーカーさん、2021年下半期はいろんな洗い物、クレンジングだったり洗顔だったりというものがもう続々と新発売されます。その中でも、うわこれ私の中でも人生変わるじゃんと思う洗顔があったので、それを皆さんにシェアしていきたいと思いますので最後までご覧ください。 洗顔って言うとなんとなく泡タイプでもいいやとか、クレンジングよりも洗顔っていうのはちょっと劣るから、まあ何でもとりあえずコンビニとかで買えばいいやっていうのももちろん全然いいと思うんですよ。でも今年は本当にあなたの人生を変えるかもしれない洗顔が続々と発売されています。 まず一つは、糖化というものに着目している洗顔になります。糖化っていうと皮膚というよりは体の内側のイメージがあって、私もその動画を出したことがあると思うんですが、糖化って何かって言うと、余分な糖が体の中にあることによってタンパク質と結びついて、AGEsという糖化最終産物というものが作られるんですね。これが例えば血管の炎症を起こしたりとか、体の中の慢性炎症を起こすことによって老化が進んでしまうということなんですね。 これはもちろん肌でも起こっています。肌ではどういったことが起こるかというと、このAGEs糖化最終産物ができると、例えば角層につくとそれが黄ぐすみ、なんとなく肌がゴワついて黄色っぽく見えるとかですね。あとこれが真皮のコラーゲンとかエラスチンにくっつくと、このエラスチンとかコラーゲンが固くなって、固くなるとものって脆くなるじゃないですか。なので固くなって壊れやすくなるので、たるみが起こってくるということはもう前々からわかっていたんですね。 なのでこの肌の糖化を改善していくためにいろんな美容液とかが出てきているんですが、この肌の糖化っていうのにいち早く注目したのはPOLAのB.Aシリーズなんですね。2009年に、やはり角層とあとは真皮のAGEs、要は糖化によって起こるものが角層には黄ぐすみを、真皮にはたるみの原因を引き起こすということを見つけて、それでB.Aシリーズにどっちも改善するような成分を入れていったっていうのが最初になってきます。 肌の糖化をなくしていきましょうというのはどんどん当たり前になってきたんですが、2021年もっともっとすごいことがわかったんです。それは何かっていうと、今までは角層と真皮っていうところにフォーカスを当てていたんですが、じゃあ糖化が最初に始まるところってどこだろうって注目したら、それはやっぱり血管だったんですね。なんでかというと、余分な糖分が血管を通って体中に流れていくわけですよ。なので血管の中に余分な糖分があって、そこで糖化が起こることによって血管の内側がもろくなっていくということがもともとわかっていました。要は血管っていうのは、このAGEs糖化最終産物に最ももさらされやすい場所だったんですね。 なので血管にAGEsが溜まることで何か悪さをしてるんじゃないかということをどんどん研究していた結果、血管の内側には血管内皮細胞というものがあるんですが、これにAGEsがくっつくと血管が途切れてしまうんですね。そうすると肌に栄養を隅々まで行き渡らせることができなくなってしまうということがわかったんです。 さらに血管内皮細胞がAGEsで傷ついてしまって活性酸素を作ってしまうんですよ。でこの活性酸素が真皮に影響を与えて、そもそもAGEsがくっつくことによって固くなって壊れてしまうということ以上に、活性酸素でまた真皮がやられてしまってたるみの原因になってしまうということ、この2つを見つけたんです。 じゃあこの血管内皮細胞にAGEsを作らせないようにするにはどうしたらいいかということをまたまた研究したらですね、もともと私たちの体にはこのAGEsが血管にあってもそれをなくすようなスイッチというものがあるんですが、それがやっぱり年々機能することが鈍くなっている。じゃあスイッチをオンにするようにすればいいっていうことを見つけたんですね。でそのスイッチというのが何かっていうと、血管内皮細胞にあるAXLという受容体だったんです。このAXLの部分をオンにすると、血管内皮細胞にAGEsがあってもそれをしっかりと回収して、余分な活性酸素を作らないようにする。そしてAGEsから血管を守ってくれるということがわかったんです。 この血管内皮細胞のAXLを増やすものも、もちろん見つけるわけですよ。これが百花王エキスというものになるんですが、この百花王エキスを入れるとAXLのスイッチがオンになるので、AGEsが来て糖化をしようとしても血管内皮細胞が大丈夫、負けないみたいになるし、でなんとこれがあると真皮のMMP産生も阻害してくれるので、たるみにも効いていくっていうことが期待できるんですよ。すごくないですか。 でもう一つ、じゃあこれ美容液で入れればいいじゃんって思うじゃないですか。それを洗顔にしたっていうのがまたこれが面白いんですね。さっき言ったみたいにAGEsっていうのは角質にもあるんですよ。で角質にAGEsがあると、もちろん黄ぐすみの原因になるんですが、実はこれが紫外線が当たると2倍ぐらいAGEsが増えて、さらにさらに黄ぐすみが起こるということがわかっているんですね。 なので美容液みたいなもので化粧水とかみたいに入れ込むんではなくて、表面のAGEsも綺麗にしながら、かつパックのようにさっき言った百花王エキスなどがどんどん浸透できるものができないかっていうふうに、多分POLAさん考えたと思うんですよね。普通だったら洗顔と美容液は分けるじゃないですか。それがなんと一緒にできるっていう、もうスーパースペシャルミラクルなものが今回発売になったんです。 それがこちら、POLA B.A ディープクリアライザーです。これね、後ろに書いてあるんですが、洗顔料マスクって書いてあるんですよ。洗顔料なのパックなのどっちなのっていう感じなんですが、どっちもできるんですね。さっき言ったみたいにその百花王エキスとかが入っているんですが、私いつも言うんですが、洗顔料って保湿剤とか美容成分が入っていても結局洗い流しちゃうと意味がないというか、中に残らないんですね。 なんですがこのB.Aさんのすごいところは、その成分も入れ込むことができるし、かつ余分なAGEsをとってから入れた方がいいから、まず余分な角層とか汚れとかAGEsを取り去る。だけれどもその後にしっかりと美容成分、あと保湿成分が行くような独自の処方を組んでるんですよ。これって本当にすごいことで、あとはAGEsを取り去るところにやっぱりクレイ系のものを入れているんですが、通常このクレイ系のものと保湿成分は共存できないんですよね、成分的に。でもこれはまたPOLA独自の特許技術で、このクレイ成分と保湿成分が一緒になって、まずはクレイ成分で取り去るようなもので表面を取った後に、保湿の成分が入り込んで、プラス美容液成分が入り込むっていう、そういう2回に渡って取り去るものと入れ込むっていう技術を1個にまとめたっていうのがこれがすごい技術なんですね。 7月1日に発売になったので、これも早速使ったんですけれども、最初に付けて泡立たないです。泡立たないものって摩擦するから嫌だなぁと思ってたんですけども、パックのように塗り広げてお水をつけてちょっと押す。黄ぐすみが気になるお鼻だったり、こういう顎のところちょっとくるくるくるくるすると、泡までは行かないんですが、このルルルッとしてくるんですね。でそれで洗い流すと黄ぐすみがパッと消えたような感じと、あとは洗い流すパックってあるじゃないですか、それをしたような保湿感がすごいあるんですよね。 なので本当に初めての経験というか、洗浄成分と美容液成分を入れ込んでいくっていう、これがまたすごい技術だなぁって思って。成分もそうなんですけれども、洗浄力と保湿を共存させる技術に、めちゃめちゃ人生変わるなと思う洗顔になります。 いやーもう本当にPOLAさんってすごいなぁと思うんですよね。だってAXLって本当に今まで多分誰も注目していなかった場所だと思うんですよ。それがまずそのAGEsに効いていくっていうところを見つけたり、あとはそれを普通に美容液とかで入れ込めばいいのに、ちゃんと1本で洗顔をしてから綺麗になったところで入れ込んでいけるっていう、1本でできるっていうような洗浄技術と保湿美容液成分を入れ込むっていう、それを共存させる技術が1個になったって、本当に研究者さんの意気込みを感じる1本だなぁと思いました。 洗顔てね、本当にピンからキリまであるし、自分にあったものだったらいいと思うんですが、こういう新しい技術が入っているものって人生変わるなと思うので、よかったら試してみてください。今日はちょっと新製品が出たので、ちょっと興奮気味に喋ってしまいましたが、最後まで見ていただいて本当にありがとうございます。またまた2021年下半期、人生変わるバージョン第2っていう洗顔料も続々出てきているので、またご紹介できたらなと思います。また次の動画でお会いしましょう。さよなら。

Hello everyone, this is Arata Tomori. What do you consider most important in your skincare routine? I think many of you focus on serums or lotions, but in 2021, I really want you to pay attention to facial cleansers. This is probably because, with everyone wearing masks now, there's a growing awareness about cleansing and keeping the skin clean. Various manufacturers are releasing a stream of new cleansing products—cleansing oils, facial washes, and so on—in the second half of 2021. Among them, there was one facial wash that made me think, "Wow, this could really change my life," so I want to share it with you. Please watch until the end. When it comes to facial washes, some people think any foaming type will do, or that facial washes are somehow inferior to cleansing oils, so they just buy whatever's available at a convenience store—and that's totally fine too. But this year, there are facial washes being released one after another that could truly change your life. The first one focuses on something called glycation. When you hear "glycation," you might think of the inside of the body rather than the skin—I think I've made a video about that before. So what is glycation? It's when excess sugar in the body binds with proteins to form what's called AGEs (advanced glycation end products). These can cause inflammation in blood vessels and chronic inflammation throughout the body, which contributes to aging. Of course, this also happens in the skin. What happens in the skin is that when these AGEs form—for example, in the stratum corneum—they cause yellowish dullness, making the skin look somewhat rough and yellow. Also, when AGEs attach to dermal collagen or elastin, that collagen and elastin become stiffened. And when something becomes stiff, it also becomes brittle, right? So it becomes stiff and prone to breaking, which has long been known to cause sagging. So, many serums have been developed to improve this skin glycation, but the one that first paid attention to skin glycation was POLA's B.A series. In 2009, they discovered that AGEs in the stratum corneum cause yellowish dullness, and AGEs in the dermis cause sagging—both results of glycation—and that's how they first incorporated ingredients into the B.A series to address both. Eliminating skin glycation gradually became common knowledge, but in 2021, something even more amazing was discovered. Until now, the focus had been on the stratum corneum and the dermis, but when researchers asked "where does glycation actually begin?" they found the answer: blood vessels. This is because excess sugar travels through the blood vessels throughout the body. So there's excess sugar in the blood vessels, and glycation occurring there was already known to make the inside of blood vessels fragile. In other words, blood vessels are the place most exposed to these AGEs. So, as research continued into what kind of damage AGEs accumulating in blood vessels might cause, they found that when AGEs attach to vascular endothelial cells lining the inside of blood vessels, the blood vessels become disrupted. This means nutrients can no longer be delivered thoroughly to the skin. Furthermore, when vascular endothelial cells are damaged by AGEs, they produce reactive oxygen species. These reactive oxygen species affect the dermis—so beyond the stiffening and breaking caused directly by AGEs, the dermis gets further damaged by reactive oxygen species, causing sagging. These two discoveries were made. So then, how can we prevent AGEs from forming in these vascular endothelial cells? Further research revealed that our bodies actually have a switch that can eliminate AGEs from blood vessels, but this switch becomes less responsive as we age. So the idea was: what if we could turn that switch back on? That switch turned out to be a receptor called AXL, found on vascular endothelial cells. When this AXL is activated, even if AGEs are present in the vascular endothelial cells, it properly collects them and prevents excess reactive oxygen species from being produced, protecting the blood vessels from AGEs. They also found an ingredient that increases this AXL in vascular endothelial cells—it's called Hyakkao extract (Baikal Skullcap-type extract). When this extract is applied, it activates the AXL switch, so even when AGEs try to cause glycation, the vascular endothelial cells can withstand it. And remarkably, this ingredient also inhibits MMP production in the dermis, which means it's expected to help with sagging too. Isn't that amazing? Now, you might think, why not just put this in a serum? But making it into a facial wash is what makes this so interesting. As I mentioned, AGEs are also present in the stratum corneum. When AGEs are in the stratum corneum, they cause yellowish dullness, but it turns out that UV exposure doubles the amount of AGEs, causing even more dullness. So instead of incorporating active ingredients like in a lotion or serum, POLA probably thought: what if we could clean the surface AGEs while also allowing ingredients like Hyakkao extract to penetrate deeply, like a mask? Normally, cleansing and serums are separate products, but this time, they managed to combine both into one super special miracle product. That product is the POLA B.A Deep Clarifier. On the back, it says "cleansing mask"—so is it a facial wash or a pack? Well, it's both! As I mentioned, it contains ingredients like Hyakkao extract, but as I always say, even if a facial wash contains moisturizing or beauty ingredients, they usually just get washed away and don't remain on the skin. But what's amazing about this B.A product is that it manages to incorporate those ingredients effectively. Since it's better to remove excess AGEs first, it first removes excess buildup on the stratum corneum, dirt, and AGEs, but then it has a unique formulation that ensures beauty and moisturizing ingredients are delivered afterward. This is truly remarkable. It also uses clay-based ingredients to remove the AGEs, but normally clay-based ingredients and moisturizing ingredients don't coexist well due to their properties. However, thanks to POLA's proprietary patented technology, the clay ingredients and moisturizing ingredients work together—first the clay ingredients remove the surface buildup, and then the moisturizing and serum ingredients penetrate. Combining this two-step removal and delivery process into one product is truly incredible technology. It was released on July 1st, so I tried it right away. At first, when I applied it, it didn't foam. I used to dislike non-foaming products because I worried about friction on the skin, but you spread it like a mask, add water, and press gently. Around the nose where dullness is a concern, or around the chin, you gently massage in circular motions. It doesn't quite turn into foam, but it becomes this smooth, slippery texture. When you rinse it off, the dullness seems to disappear instantly, and afterward, it feels like you just did a rinse-off pack—the moisturizing effect is amazing. So this was truly a first-time experience for me—incorporating both cleansing ingredients and beauty serum ingredients together. I think this is amazing technology. Not just the ingredients themselves, but the technology that allows cleansing power and moisturizing to coexist really feels life-changing to me. Honestly, POLA is just amazing. AXL is a site that I don't think anyone had focused on before. They discovered how to target it in relation to AGEs, and instead of just putting the solution into a serum, they made it possible to cleanse and deliver moisturizing serum ingredients in a single product—after cleansing, once the skin is clean, the ingredients get delivered right away. Combining a cleansing technology with a technology for delivering moisturizing serum ingredients into one product really shows the passion and dedication of the researchers behind it. Facial washes really do range from cheap to expensive, and of course, whatever suits you personally is fine.
