最近、下地いらない説が結構、巷では話題になっていて。スキンケアもして、下地も塗って、日焼け止めも塗って、肌にはやっぱり確かにトゥーマッチなんですよね。下地っていうのはパウダーファンデーションを密着させるために今出てきたもので、私自身もリキッドファンデーションを使うことがほぼないので、今までは下地兼日焼け止めっていうものを塗ってからファンデーションを塗ってたんですけれども、化粧品会社さんに怒られるかもしれないけど、重ねなくてもいいんじゃないかなというふうには思います。重ねれば重ねるほどやっぱりファンデーションって崩れやすくなるので、日焼けをしたくないところにはガッツリ日焼け止めを塗って、崩したくないところにはこの保水プライマーを塗るっていう今はやり方をしているので、夏になってどうなるかなっていうところはあるんですけれども、今のところ化粧崩れがないので、ぜひ試していただけるといいんじゃないかなというふうに思います。

Lately, there's been a lot of talk about not needing a makeup base/primer. Doing skincare, then applying primer, then sunscreen—that really is too much for the skin. Primer originally came about to help powder foundation adhere better, and since I myself almost never use liquid foundation, I used to apply a combined primer/sunscreen before putting on foundation. The cosmetics companies might get mad at me, but I think you don't necessarily need to layer all of that. The more layers you add, the more prone foundation is to breaking down. So now my approach is to apply sunscreen thoroughly on areas where I don't want to get sunburned, and use this hydrating primer on areas where I don't want my makeup to break down. I'm not sure how it will hold up once summer comes, but so far my makeup hasn't been breaking down, so I think it's definitely worth trying.
