【資生堂 vs ロート製薬】レチノール頂上決戦！プロは絶対にコレを選びます

みなさんこんにちは、友利新です。今日は久しぶりの「使うならどっち」、どちらもレチノール、それも純粋レチノールが配合です。エリクシールのレチノパワー リンクルクリームは、以前からシワ改善の純粋レチノールとして知られています。それに対抗するように今年、ロート製薬さんからダーマセプトRX VAセラムというものが発売になりました。レチノールが配合されている商品はたくさんあると思うんですけれども、純粋レチノールが入って純粋レチノールで勝負をしているっていうのは、こちらの2つが二強なのかなと思うので、今日はこちら、使うならどっちっていうものをしっかりとお話ししたいと思いますので、最後までご覧ください。 まずそもそもレチノールっていうものは、表皮のヒアルロン酸の量を増やして、真皮ではコラーゲンの生成を増やすんですね。それによってツヤ感・ハリ感を出したりとか、シワ改善という風なことになっています。それがこの成分としては言われてるんですね。ただシワ改善の化粧品で純粋レチノールが入ってますよって書いていいことになっているのは、エリクシール レチノパワー リンクルクリームだけになっています。資生堂さんが厚生労働省にですね、安全性と効能っていうものをしっかりとテスト結果を出して、厚生労働省がシワ改善の成分として資生堂さんに認可を下したというところがあります。なのでシワ改善って書いていいのは資生堂さんだけになるんですね。資生堂さんだったらエリクシールが一番有名かなと思います。 シワ改善とは言ってはいけないので、じゃあ他の純粋レチノールが入っているものがシワ改善の効果がないのかって言われたら、それは違います。ある程度濃度だったりとかがあれば、シワ改善はできると思います。ただこれは正直、安全性だったりとか検査のデータを厚労省に申請を出していないので、もしかして申請しているところがあって通ってないのか、そこはちょっと分からないんですが、とにかく申請が下りているのが資生堂さんというだけで、純粋レチノールが同じパーセンテージ入っているんだったら、同じような効果は生まれるとは思います。ただそれが書けないっていうのは、まず大前提に考えてください。今日はレチノールとしての成分のお話と、書いてある書いてないっていうのがごっちゃにならないように、まずはそこだけお話をさせてもらいます。 そこから行くと、エリクシールのレチノパワー リンクルクリームっていうのは、資生堂さんがシワ改善としてやっぱり出している美容液なので、シワ改善に特化した構造になっています。純粋レチノール自体をすごく細かくして浸透しやすくしてるっていうところ、プラス容器とかにもこだわって、レチノールっていうのは酸化しやすかったりとかっていうのがあるので、今日私使いかけのものなので空いてるんですけれども、売ってる時には空気が入らないように密閉されてるんですね。使った時もレチノールが変性しないっていうところも考えられてるなと思います。話が戻ると、レチノール自体もすごく細かくして吸収しやすいようなレチノールを配合してるっていうところもポイントなんですが、そもそも資生堂さんがシワの改善を研究していってレチノールに行き着いて、それをシワ改善の認可を下したぐらいなので、シワがどういう風になるかっていうところも研究してるんですね。 シワっていうのはもちろんヒアルロン酸が減ったり、真皮のコラーゲンやエラスチンが減ることによって弾力がなくなってシワになるっていうところもあるんですけれども、実は角層が硬くなってるっていうところも表皮の奥だったり真皮だったりにダイレクトに力が加わっちゃうようになるので、角層が厚くなるとシワになりやすいっていうことも研究をしていて、なのでレチノール自体もその角層を柔らかくするっていうような効能も見つけているんですけれども、角層の研究とかの成分とかも入っています。なので油分っていうのもしっかり入っていて、レチノール自体も油分に溶けやすいので、その角層を柔らかくするっていうところプラス、レチノールが効きやすくするっていうところもあります。シワ改善に特化した研究を元にレチノールを配合しているので、シワを改善したいって思うんだったらエリクシール一択だと思います。 じゃあダーマセプトRX VAセラムっていうのはどういうものかっていうと、同じピュアレチノールが入っていることは確かです。ただどっちに何パーセント入っているかというのは分からないです。じゃあダーマセプトRXはどういうコンセプトかっていうと、レチノールっていうのはA反応といって赤くなったりとか皮むけがしたりっていうことがあるので、それをいかに少なくするかっていうことを考えて――これ詳しい動画は撮ってあるので参考にしていただきたいんですけれども――ベースにしている油剤を選定して、早く吸収するんじゃなくてゆっくりゆっくり吸収されるようになっています。ゆっくりゆっくり浸透することによってA反応が出にくいっていうところで、表皮のヒアルロン酸を増やしたりみずみずしさっていうものをアピールしています。なので張り感が欲しいとかツヤ感が欲しいとか、レチノールっていうのは皮脂を抑えるっていうところもあるので、張り感が出るとキメが整って毛穴が目立たなくなるので、そういった方にも向けて作っているのかなとは思います。 A反応を極力作りたくない人、今までレチノールを色々使ったけれども赤みが出るよとか皮むけが怖いっていう人は、ダーマセプトRX VAセラムの方がいいんじゃないかなと思うんですね。ただシワ改善ができないわけではないとは思います。だけれどもシワ改善というふうには歌っていないですし、シワ改善に特化した成分を入れてるかっていうとそういうわけではない。なので同じ純粋レチノールだけれども、作り方だったりは違っているので、どっちがいいかっていうとシワ改善だったらエリクシール一択、でもツヤ感とか張り感とかを出したくってA反応は起こしたくないっていう人だったらダーマセプトRX VAセラムなんじゃないかなというふうに思います。 なのでレチノールっていうのは元々は、表皮のヒアルロン酸を増やして真皮のコラーゲンを増やすっていうことは分かっていて、いろんな効能がやっぱり考えられるんですけども、安全性の面からも認可を下ろしているっていう意味ではエリクシールはもう本当に唯一無二だなと思うんですけども、レチノールの良いところでもある効能は生かしつつ、デメリットであるA反応を抑えるっていうような処方にしているっていうのは、これはこれでロートさんの素晴らしいところだなというふうに思います。なので自分が何に悩んでいるのか、どういったところを懸念しながらレチノールを使っているのかっていうところで選んでいただければいいかなというふうに思います。 付け加えると、この2つ以外にも皆さん、レチノールっていうとイニスフリーとかどうなんですかって言われるんですけど、もちろんこれにもピュアレチノールって入ってるんですけども、あえて比較しなかったのはなぜかというと、それ以外にもレチノールの誘導体も入っているんですね。レチノールだけで言ってるわけじゃなくて、3種のレチノールみたいな感じで言っていて他の成分も入っているので、今回は純粋にピュアレチノールの対決として言いたいので。ピュアレチノールっていうレチノールと、レチノール誘導体っていうのはまた違っていて、レチノールっていうのはA反応が出たりっていうところもありますし、さっきから言ってるようにヒアルロン酸を増やしたりコラーゲンを増やしたりっていうところあります。レチノールの誘導体っていうのは基本的にはA反応が出にくいです。その代わりピュアレチノールと同じようにヒアルロン酸とかコラーゲンを増やす力というのは劣ります。ただ効果がゼロなわけじゃなくてゆっくりなんですね。なのでそういった意味では、今まではレチノールの反応を出したくない人はレチノールの誘導体を使ってくださいっていうふうに言ったんですけど、そんな中でピュアレチノールなのにA反応を出しにくいっていうところを出したっていう意味でも、ロート製薬さんは素晴らしいかなと思いますし、今回はピュアレチノールだけを配合しているものだけに絞っているので、他のレチノールはって思った方はそういったことだというふうに思っておいてください。 はい、ということでいかがだったでしょうか。何に悩んでいるのか、何に特化しているのかで微妙に処方が違うんですよね。成分は一緒でも処方の仕方でどういう人に向けて作るかっていうのが微妙に違ってくるので、あとどれをプライオリティに置いてるかっていうのにも違ってくるので、このチャンネルではそれを皆さんに伝えられたらいいなというふうに思います。それを見て自分がどっちがいいかっていうのを決められるようにしていただければいいかなというふうに思います。 はい、ということで今日も最後まで見ていただいてありがとうございました。また次の動画でお会いしましょう。さよなら。

Hello everyone, this is Yuri Tomori. Today it's been a while since I've done a "which one should you use" comparison. Both products contain retinol, and specifically pure retinol. Shiseido's Elixir Retino Power Wrinkle Cream has long been known as a wrinkle-improving pure retinol product. In response, this year Rohto Pharmaceutical released something called Dermaceutic RX VA Serum. There are many products that contain retinol, but I think these two are the top contenders when it comes to products that compete on pure retinol content specifically. So today I want to thoroughly discuss which one you should use, so please watch until the end. First of all, retinol works by increasing hyaluronic acid in the epidermis and increasing collagen production in the dermis. This gives skin a glowy, firm appearance and helps improve wrinkles - that's what this ingredient is said to do. However, only Elixir Retino Power Wrinkle Cream is allowed to state that it contains pure retinol for wrinkle improvement. Shiseido submitted thorough safety and efficacy test results to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, which approved retinol as a wrinkle-improving ingredient for Shiseido specifically. So only Shiseido is allowed to claim wrinkle improvement. Among Shiseido's lineup, Elixir is probably the most famous. Since other products can't claim "wrinkle improvement," does that mean other pure retinol products don't have wrinkle-improving effects? That's not true. If the concentration is sufficient, wrinkle improvement should be possible. However, honestly, other companies haven't submitted safety and testing data to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. I don't know whether some companies applied and weren't approved, or simply haven't applied. In any case, it's just that Shiseido is the one that received approval - if the same percentage of pure retinol is contained, similar effects should occur. But please keep in mind as a premise that other companies simply cannot state this claim. Today, I want to make sure we don't confuse the actual properties of retinol as an ingredient with what can or cannot be stated on packaging. Moving on, Elixir Retino Power Wrinkle Cream is a serum that Shiseido specifically markets for wrinkle improvement, so its structure is specialized for that purpose. They've made the pure retinol itself extremely fine to improve absorption, plus they've been particular about the packaging - since retinol is prone to oxidation, though the one I'm using today is already opened, when sold it's sealed to prevent air from entering. I think they've also considered preventing retinol degradation during use. Going back to the retinol itself, they've made it very fine for easy absorption, which is a key point, but fundamentally, Shiseido researched wrinkle improvement and arrived at retinol, which is how thorough they were that they even received official approval for wrinkle improvement - meaning they've also researched how wrinkles actually form. Wrinkles occur, of course, when hyaluronic acid decreases or when collagen and elastin in the dermis decrease, causing loss of elasticity. But it's also true that hardening of the stratum corneum causes force to be directly applied to the epidermis and dermis, meaning that a thicker stratum corneum makes wrinkles more likely to form. They've researched this too, discovering that retinol itself has the effect of softening the stratum corneum, and they've incorporated ingredients related to this stratum corneum research as well. That's why oils are also properly included - since retinol itself dissolves easily in oil, this serves the dual purpose of softening the stratum corneum while also helping retinol work more effectively. Since retinol is formulated based on research specialized for wrinkle improvement, if you want to improve wrinkles, I think Elixir is the only choice. So what is Dermaceutic RX VA Serum like? It's certain that it also contains the same pure retinol. However, I don't know what percentage each product contains. So what's the concept behind Dermaceutic RX? Retinol can cause what's called "A reaction" - redness and peeling - so they've thought carefully about how to minimize this. I have a detailed video about this that I'd like you to reference, but essentially, they've selected the base oils used so that instead of fast absorption, it's absorbed slowly and gradually. By penetrating slowly, the A reaction is less likely to occur, and they emphasize increasing hyaluronic acid in the epidermis and creating a moisturized feel. So for those wanting firmness or glow - since retinol also suppresses sebum - when firmness increases, texture improves and pores become less noticeable, so I think it's also designed with that in mind for such users. For people who really don't want to cause an A reaction, or those who have used various retinol products before and experienced redness or fear peeling, I think Dermaceutic RX VA Serum would be better. However, that doesn't mean it can't improve wrinkles at all. But it's not marketed as wrinkle-improving, and it's not necessarily formulated with ingredients specialized for wrinkle improvement. So while both contain the same pure retinol, their formulation approaches differ. Which one is better? If you want wrinkle improvement, Elixir is the only choice, but if you want glow and firmness without wanting to trigger an A reaction, then Dermaceutic RX VA Serum might be the one for you. So, retinol is fundamentally known to increase hyaluronic acid in the epidermis and collagen in the dermis, and various effects are considered possible. In terms of safety approval, Elixir is truly one-of-a-kind. But while making use of retinol's beneficial effects, formulating it to suppress the A reaction drawback is also wonderful in its own way - that's Rohto's excellent achievement. So I think you should choose based on what you're concerned about and what aspects you're worried about when using retinol. I'd like to add that besides these two, many of you ask about products like Innisfree when it comes to retinol. Of course, that product also contains pure retinol, but the reason I deliberately didn't include it in this comparison is that it also contains retinol derivatives. It's not just retinol alone - they describe it as something like "3 types of retinol," including other ingredients as well. Since I wanted to specifically discuss a pure retinol showdown this time... Pure retinol and retinol derivatives are actually different things. Retinol can cause the A reaction, as I've mentioned, and it increases hyaluronic acid and collagen as I've said. Retinol derivatives generally don't cause the A reaction as much. However, in exchange, their power to increase hyaluronic acid and collagen like pure retinol is inferior. But that doesn't mean the effect is zero - it's just slower. In that sense, I used to tell people who don't want retinol reactions to use retinol derivatives instead, but the fact that they've achieved reduced A reaction while using pure retinol is impressive - I think Rohto Pharmaceutical deserves credit for that. Since this time I'm focusing only on products containing pure retinol, if you were wondering about other types of retinol, please understand that's the reasoning behind my choice.
