レチノール・ナイアシンアミド・ビタミンCの3大成分配合の美容液を紹介します。

Today I found an amazing cosmetic product that can help improve wrinkles and even brighten the skin for a more radiant, clear complexion, so I wanted to introduce it to you. What kind of product is it? Actually, it's a serum from Taisho Pharmaceutical—yes, the company known for Lipovitan D and their eagle logo. When I discovered this, since I do a lot of research on skincare products, I was surprised to see "Oh, Taisho Pharmaceutical made this?" Until now, I had the impression—and I don't mean this disrespectfully—that Taisho Pharmaceutical wasn't really associated with beauty products. So I looked into what they had created, and it turned out to contain my favorite ingredients: Vitamin C, Niacinamide, and Retinyl Palmitate. On top of that, they had conducted their own original research, presented it at academic conferences, and incorporated the resulting ingredients into the product. It was truly surprising, convincing, and impressive all at once. Here it is: Taisho Pharmaceutical's "THE MITOLL ESSENCE." This essence is packed with incredible technology and research. As active ingredients, it contains Niacinamide, which is recognized for wrinkle improvement, as well as a Vitamin C derivative and Retinyl Palmitate (a gentler form of Vitamin A). That alone would be impressive, but this product also contains ingredients based on Taisho Pharmaceutical's own proprietary research. What kind of research is this? It centers on something called "Mitoligase," an enzyme said to influence cellular aging. As humans age, wrinkles and age spots inevitably appear. This is often attributed simply to aging, but what "aging" really means is that cellular metabolism gradually declines. This metabolic decline is linked to mitochondria, the organelles within cells responsible for energy production. It's well established in both internal medicine and dermatology that when mitochondrial energy production declines, overall bodily function declines as well. Interestingly, mitochondria don't exist in isolation—they form what's called a "mitochondrial network." For example, if one mitochondrion loses energy, another can share energy with it, forming this interconnected network. However, as we age, this network gradually deteriorates, and eventually mitochondria lose their ability to produce energy, leading to cellular aging. Furthermore, within mitochondria there's an enzyme called Mitoligase, which is essential for energy production. This enzyme was discovered in 2006 by Professor Yanagi at Gakushuin University. Professor Yanagi and Taisho Pharmaceutical researched how a decrease in Mitoligase affects the skin, and found that it doesn't just reduce cellular energy metabolism—it also disrupts epidermal turnover, causing the stratum corneum to thicken. Additionally, they found that decreased Mitoligase increases inflammatory substances (such as TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-8)—the same substances released during UV exposure that contribute to age spots and wrinkles. These findings were published as a paper at the 2021 Japanese Society of Aesthetic Dermatology. Mitoligase is a crucial enzyme, but unfortunately it declines with age. Taisho Pharmaceutical identified this issue and discovered ingredients that not only prevent this decline but actually increase Mitoligase levels. These are Peach Leaf Extract, Witch Hazel Leaf Extract, and Peach Root Bark Extract. This unique combination of three ingredients is reportedly patent-pending, and it's included in "THE MITOLL ESSENCE" specifically for its Mitoligase-boosting properties. So, boosting our skin's fundamental energy production, enhancing mitochondrial activity, and increasing Mitoligase to suppress inflammation—that alone is remarkable research. But true to being a pharmaceutical company, they've also included familiar, well-established active ingredients like Niacinamide, Vitamin C, and Retinyl Palmitate. In other words, they've combined cutting-edge ingredients backed by their own published research with time-tested, well-researched ingredients like Niacinamide, Vitamin C, and Vitamin A to create this original product. This is exactly what impressed me about Taisho Pharmaceutical. Interestingly, this is a cleansing serum—meant to be used first, right after washing your face, at the very beginning of your skincare routine. This made me wonder if it might interfere with the rest of one's existing skincare routine. As for texture, it's a white, slightly thick serum. When you spread it, it blends in smoothly and has quite good spreadability. The amount I used seemed like it would cover the entire face. Since it blends in so well, it could work as a single-step moisturizing essence on its own, or you could layer your favorite toner on top. Another interesting point is that it contains Taurine—yes, the same Taurine found in Lipovitan D! Apparently, Taisho Pharmaceutical has also been researching Taurine's anti-wrinkle effects, so perhaps someday they'll reveal exactly how Taurine works against wrinkles. It's fascinating to see a pharmaceutical company incorporating their signature ingredient this way. So, what did you think? Once again, I've discovered a product backed by incredible research. At first glance, seeing Niacinamide, Vitamin C, and Vitamin A included was already impressive enough. But learning about their proprietary ingredients—like Taurine, and the data-backed ingredients designed to prevent Mitoligase decline while actively boosting it—truly moved me. Since this is currently only available as a serum, I'm hoping—perhaps optimistically—that Taisho Pharmaceutical might expand this line to include a toner, lotion, or cream in the future.
